Abstract
BACKGROUND To assess the diagnostic value of combining plasma steroid profiling with machine learning (ML) in differentiating between mild autonomous cortisol secretion (MACS) and nonfunctioning adenoma (NFA) in patients with adrenal incidentalomas. METHODS The plasma steroid profiles data in the laboratory information system were screened from January 2021 to December 2023. EXtreme Gradient Boosting (XGBoost) was applied to establish diagnostic models using plasma 24-steroid panels and/or clinical characteristics of the subjects. The SHapley Additive exPlanation (SHAP) method was used for explaining the model. RESULTS 76 patients with MACS and 86 patients with NFA were included in the development and internal validation cohort while the external validation cohort consisted of 27 MACS and 21 NFA cases. Among five ML models evaluated, XGBoost demonstrated superior performance with an AUC of 0.77 using 24 steroid hormones. The SHAP method identified five steroids that exhibited optimal performance in distinguishing MACS from NFA, namely dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA), 11-deoxycortisol, 11β-hydroxytestosterone, testosterone, and dehydroepiandrosteronesulfate (DHEAS). Upon incorporating clinical features into the model, the AUC increased to 0.88, with a sensitivity of 0.77 and specificity of 0.82. Furthermore, the results obtained through SHAP revealed that lower levels of testosterone, DHEA, LDL-c, BMI, and ACTH along with higher level of 11-deoxycortisol significantly contributed to the identification of MACS in the model. CONCLUSIONS We have elucidated the utilization of ML-based steroid profiling to discriminate between MACS and NFA in patients with adrenal incidentalomas. This approach holds promise for distinguishing these two entities through a single blood collection.

Abstract
We present a measurement of η production from neutrino interactions on argon with the MicroBooNE detector. The modeling of resonant neutrino interactions on argon is a critical aspect of the neutrino oscillation physics program being carried out by the DUNE and Short Baseline Neutrino programs. η production in neutrino interactions provides a powerful new probe of resonant interactions, complementary to pion channels, and is particularly suited to the study of higher-order resonances beyond the Δ(1232). We measure a flux-integrated cross section for neutrino-induced η production on argon of 3.22±0.84(stat)±0.86(syst) 10^{-41} cm^{2}/nucleon. By demonstrating the successful reconstruction of the two photons resulting from η production, this analysis enables a novel calibration technique for electromagnetic showers in GeV accelerator neutrino experiments.

Abstract
Cell-free DNA (cfDNA) is increasingly recognized as a promising biomarker candidate for disease monitoring. However, its utility in neurodegenerative diseases, like amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), remains underexplored. Existing biomarker discovery approaches are tailored to a specific disease context or are too expensive to be clinically practical. Here, we address these challenges through a new approach combining advances in molecular and computational technologies. First, we develop statistical tools to select tissue-informative DNA methylation sites relevant to a disease process of interest. We then employ a capture protocol to select these sites and perform targeted methylation sequencing. Multi-modal information about the DNA methylation patterns are then utilized in machine learning algorithms trained to predict disease status and disease progression. We applied our method to two independent cohorts of ALS patients and controls (n=192). Overall, we found that the targeted sites accurately predicted ALS status and replicated between cohorts. Additionally, we identified epigenetic features associated with ALS phenotypes, including disease severity. These findings highlight the potential of cfDNA as a non-invasive biomarker for ALS.

Abstract
AIM To develop a radiomics signature applied to magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)-images to predict cytogenetic abnormalities in multiple myeloma (MM). MATERIALS AND METHODS Patients with newly diagnosed MM were enrolled retrospectively from March 2019 to September 2022. They were categorised into the high-risk cytogenetics (HRC) group and standard-risk cytogenetics (SRC) group. The patients were allocated randomly at a ratio of 7:3 into training and validation cohorts. Volumes of interest (VOI) was drawn manually on fat suppression T2-weighted imaging (FS-T2WI) and copied to the same location of the T1-weighted imaging (T1WI) sequence. Radiomics features were extracted from two sequences and selected by reproducibility and redundant analysis. The least absolute shrinkage selection operation (LASSO) algorithm was applied to build the radiomics signatures. The performance of the radiomics signatures to distinguish HRC with SRC was evaluated by ROC curves. The area under the curve (AUC), specificity, and sensitivity were also calculated. RESULTS A total of 105 MM patients were enrolled in this study. The four and 11 most significant and relevant features were selected separately from T1WI and FS-T2WI sequences to build the radiomics signatures based on the training cohort. Compared to the T1WI sequence, the radiomics signature based on the FS-T2WI sequence achieved better performance with AUCs of 0.896 and 0.729 in the training and validation cohorts respectively. A sensitivity of 0.833, specificity of 0.667, and Youden index of 0.500 were achieved for the FS-T2WI radiomics signature in the validation cohort. CONCLUSIONS The radiomics signature based on MRI provides a non-invasive and convenient tool to predict cytogenetic abnormalities in MM patients.

Abstract
Circular DNA segments isolated from chromosomes are known as extrachromosomal circular DNA (eccDNA). Its distinct structure and characteristics, along with the variations observed in different disease states, makes it a promising biomarker. Recent studies have revealed the presence of eccDNAs in body fluids, indicating their involvement in various biological functions. This finding opens up avenues for utilizing eccDNAs as convenient and real-time biomarkers for disease diagnosis, treatment monitoring, and prognosis assessment through noninvasive analysis of body fluids. In this comprehensive review, we focused on elucidating the size profiles, potential mechanisms of formation and clearance, detection methods, and potential clinical applications of eccDNAs. We aimed to provide a valuable reference resource for future research in this field.

Abstract
BACKGROUND AND AIMS Patients with alcohol use disorder (AUD) can develop alcohol-associated fatty liver disease (AFLD). However, the impact of AFLD on outcomes remains unclear. We studied the impact of AFLD on readmission, 30-day mortality, and overall mortality in patients admitted with AUD. METHODS Hospitalized patients with AUD between 2011 and 2019 at a tertiary medical center were retrospectively evaluated. Our population included patients with AUD with AFLD: AST and ALT elevation and serum bilirubin <3 mg/dl. Patients with AUD without evidence of liver disease served as control and were labeled as no ALD. Patients with alcohol-associated cirrhosis (AC) and alcohol-associated hepatitis (AH) were included for comparison. Kaplan-Meier survival analysis and multivariable regression for predictors of mortality and survival were performed. RESULTS There were 7522 patients of which 32.44% were female with mean age of 51.86 ± 14.41 years. Patient distribution included no ALD (n = 3775), AFLD (n = 2192), AC (n = 1017) and AH (n = 538) groups. Compared to no ALD group, AFLD group was associated with significantly higher 30-day mortality [4.43% vs. 1.56%, hazard ratio (HR): 2.84; P < 0.001], overall mortality [15.97% vs. 12.69%, HR 1.40, P < 0.001], and 30-day readmission [21.85% vs. 18.49%, odds ratio: 1.21; P < 0.01]. CONCLUSION We demonstrated that AFLD is not a benign entity and poses significant mortality risk. Our results suggest that AFLD may be under-recognized and highlight the need for focused management and close follow-up after discharge.

Abstract
Sarcina ventriculi, also known as Zymosarcina ventriculi and, incorrectly, as Clostridium ventriculi, is rarely encountered in clinical settings. A patient with a complicated gastrointestinal (GI) history, who was acutely presenting with small-bowel obstruction, was found to be colonized by S. ventriculi. The distinctive morphology of this species, with large Gram-variable cocci (up to 3 µm) arranged in two-by-two cuboid clusters reaching up to 20 µm, was key in identifying this bacterium in a stomach biopsy specimen. Sarcina ventriculi appears to be ubiquitously found in nature, and related bacterial species can cause GI-related disease in various animals. Clinical manifestations in humans are broad and often related to other underlying comorbidities. Isolation of S. ventriculi in the laboratory requires anaerobic culture on select media but its absence from standard MALDI-TOF databases complicates identification. Susceptibility data do not exist, so empiric treatment is the only option for this rare pathogen.

Abstract
We present the first search for heavy neutral leptons (HNLs) decaying into νe^{+}e^{-} or νπ^{0} final states in a liquid-argon time projection chamber using data collected with the MicroBooNE detector. The data were recorded synchronously with the NuMI neutrino beam from Fermilab's main injector corresponding to a total exposure of 7.01×10^{20} protons on target. We set upper limits at the 90% confidence level on the mixing parameter |U_{μ4}|^{2} in the mass ranges 10≤m_{HNL}≤150 MeV for the νe^{+}e^{-} channel and 150≤m_{HNL}≤245 MeV for the νπ^{0} channel, assuming |U_{e4}|^{2}=|U_{τ4}|^{2}=0. Abstract
The measurement of steroid hormones in blood and urine, which reflects steroid biosynthesis and metabolism, has been recognized as a valuable tool for identifying and distinguishing steroidogenic disorders. The application of mass spectrometry enables the reliable and simultaneous analysis of large panels of steroids, ushering in a new era for diagnosing adrenal diseases. However, the interpretation of complex hormone results necessitates the expertise and experience of skilled clinicians. In this scenario, machine learning techniques are gaining worldwide attention within healthcare fields. The clinical values of combining mass spectrometry-based steroid profiles analysis with machine learning models, also known as steroid metabolomics, have been investigated for identifying and discriminating adrenal disorders such as adrenocortical carcinomas, adrenocortical adenomas, and congenital adrenal hyperplasia. This promising approach is expected to lead to enhanced clinical decision-making in the field of adrenal diseases. This review will focus on the clinical performances of steroid profiling, which is measured using mass spectrometry and analyzed by machine learning techniques, in the realm of decision-making for adrenal diseases.

Effect of individualised nutritional intervention on the postpartum nutritional status of patients with gestational diabetes mellitus and the growth and development of their offspring: a quasi-experimental study. Abstract
This study explored the effect of individualised nutritional intervention on the postpartum nutritional status of patients with the growth and development of their offspring. This study included pregnant women with gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) at Hangzhou Women's Hospital in 2019. At 42 days after childbirth, the HbA1c (95% CI: 0.44-0.56%, p < 0.001), the FPG (95% CI: 0.01-0.26 mmol/L, p < 0.05), 2HPG (95% CI: -0.01-0.73 mmol/L, p < 0.05) and TCH (95% CI: -0.34-0.00 mmol/L, p < 0.05) level of the control group were 0.14, 0.36, and 0.17 mmol/L higher than in the intervention group. There were no differences in TG and HGB between the two groups (all p > 0.05). There were significant differences in the number of macrosomia and neonatal weight between the two groups (both p < 0.05). Differences in WHZ after childbirth were not statistically significant between the two groups (all p > 0.05). Individualised nutritional intervention could improve blood glucose levels 42 days after childbirth and reduce macrosomia incidence in pregnant women with GDM.Impact statementWhat is already known on this subject? Individualised nutrition intervention can improve blood glucose status and complications during pregnancy, thus improving pregnancy outcomes.What the results of this study add? Individual nutrition intervention improved the blood glucose and nutritional status of patients at 42 days postpartum, but there was no difference in the growth and development indicators of their offspring at 0-24 months.What the implications are of these findings for clinical practice and/or further research? Abstract
The purpose of this study was to detect the changes of P-Glycoprotein (P-GP) expression in rat brain microvessel endothelial cell line RBE4 after the action of Tetramethylpyrazine (TMP) on Carbamazepine (CBZ), so as to clarify the potential mechanism of TMP combined with CBZ against intractable epilepsy drug resistance. The RBE4 cell line was utilized for in vitro analysis. Cells were divided into control, CBZ, and CBZ-TMP group. The expression of P-GP was assessed using Western blot and reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR). Intracellular concentration of CBZ was measured through high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). The differential expression of mRNA was evaluated by RNA sequencing. The intracellular concentration of CBZ in the CBZ-TMP group was significantly higher than that in other groups. The expression of P-GP in the CBZ group was significantly higher than that in the control group, while in the CBZ&TMP group, it was significantly lower than that in the other groups. Comparative analysis also revealed some differentially expressed genes. Compared with the CBZ group, FAM106A, SLC3A2, TENM2, etc. were upregulated most significantly in the CBZ&TMP group. ZBTB10, WDR7, STARD13, etc. were downregulated most significantly. Results suggest that TMP increases the intracellular concentration of CBZ, downregulates the expression of P-GP increased by CBZ, and modulates related cellular metabolism and signaling pathways, thus reversing the drug resistance mechanism of intractable epilepsy, providing a theoretical basis for the combination of traditional Chinese medicine and antiepileptic drugs.

Abstract
AIM To explore the possibility of discriminating minimal residual disease (MRD) status in multiple myeloma (MM) based on magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and identify optimal machine-learning methods to optimise the clinical treatment regimen. MATERIALS AND METHODS A total of 83 patients were analysed retrospectively. They were divided randomly into training and validation cohorts. The regions of interest were segmented and radiomics features were extracted and analysed on two sequences, including T1-weighted imaging (WI) and fat saturated (FS)-T2WI, and then radiomics models were built in the training cohort and evaluated in the validation cohort. Clinical characteristics were calculated to build a traditional model. A combined model was also built using the clinical characteristics and radiomics features. Classification accuracy was assessed using area under the curve (AUC) and F1 score. RESULTS In the training cohort, only the bone marrow (BM) infiltrate ratio (p=0.005) was retained after univariate and multivariable logistic regression analysis. In T1WI, the linear support vector machine (SVM) achieved the best performance compared to other classifiers, with AUCs of 0.811 and 0.708 and F1 scores of 0.792 and 0.696 in the training and validation cohorts, respectively. Similarly, in FS-T2WI sequence, linear SVM achieved the best performance with AUCs of 0.833 and 0.800 and F1 score of 0.833 and 0.800. The combined model constructed by the FS-T2WI-linear SVM and BM infiltrate ratio outperformed the traditional model (p=0.050 and 0.012, Delong test), but showed no significant difference compared with the radiomics model (p=0.798 and 0.855). CONCLUSION The linear SVM-based machine-learning method can offer a non-invasive tool for discriminating MRD status in MM.

Abstract
OBJECTIVES This study aims to investigate the prevalence of overweight and obesity in preschool children in Hangzhou and assess the impact of childcare management. By examining the characteristics and predicting the trends of overweight and obesity, we hope to emphasize the significance of childcare management in primary community health service centers and the use of Electronic Health-care System in kindergartens. This study also seeks to provide evidence for intervention measures and effective prevention and control management of childhood obesity. METHODS From 2020 to 2022, kindergarten children aged 3-6 years old were selected as the research objects in kindergartens in Hangzhou. The Electronic Health-care System will be utilized to facilitate the management of childhood obesity and provide guidance and training to pediatricians and Primary Care Physicians. RESULTS The overall detection rates of overweight and obesity were 7.27 % and 3.55 %, respectively, among children aged 3-6 years in Hangzhou. The rates of simple obesity in Hangzhou preschool children aged 3-6 years were 4.25 , 3.42, and 3.04 % from 2020 to 2022, respectively; the overweight detection rates of children were 8.27 , 7.28, and 6.34 %, respectively, and the difference was statistically significant (p<0.05). The detection rates of overweight and obesity in 2022 were significantly lower than those in 2020 (p<0.05). The prevalence of obesity in children increased with age. Boys had a significantly higher incidence rate of obesity than girls (p<0.05). The proportion of children with moderate and severe obesity showed a downward trend. Intervention measures for childhood obesity in primary community health service centers and kindergartens are constantly being implemented. CONCLUSIONS The prevalence of obesity in preschool children aged 3-6 years in Hangzhou exhibited a decreasing tendency. This research has identified that child care administration, particularly the implementation of the Electronic Health-care System, demonstrates effectiveness in handling overweight and obesity amongst children.

Abstract
Characterized by sustained elevated blood glucose levels, diabetes mellitus has become one of the largest global public health concerns by imposing a heavy global burden on socio-economic development. To date, regular blood glucose level check by performing a finger-prick test has been a routine strategy to monitor diabetes. However, the intrusive nature of finger blood prick tests makes it challenging for individuals to maintain consistent testing routines. Recently, salivary glucose measurement (SGM) has increasingly become a non-invasive alternative to traditional blood glucose testing for diabetes. Despite that, further research is needed to standardize the collection methods and address the issues of variability to ensure accurate and reliable SGM. To resolve possible remaining issues in SGM, we here thoroughly explored saliva sampling strategies that could impact the measurement results. Additionally, the effects of supplements taken, mouth washing, gum chewing, and smoking were collectively analyzed, followed by a continuous SGM over a long period, forming the stepping stone for the practical transitional development of SGM in non-invasive diabetes monitoring.

Abstract
We report the first measurement of flux-integrated double-differential quasielasticlike neutrino-argon cross sections, which have been made using the Booster Neutrino Beam and the MicroBooNE detector at Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory. The data are presented as a function of kinematic imbalance variables which are sensitive to nuclear ground-state distributions and hadronic reinteraction processes. We find that the measured cross sections in different phase-space regions are sensitive to different nuclear effects. Therefore, they enable the impact of specific nuclear effects on the neutrino-nucleus interaction to be isolated more completely than was possible using previous single-differential cross section measurements. Our results provide precision data to help test and improve neutrino-nucleus interaction models. They further support ongoing neutrino-oscillation studies by establishing phase-space regions where precise reaction modeling has already been achieved.

Abstract
Background Vitamin D deficiency during pregnancy is common, but whether maternal vitamin D status affects glycolipid metabolism of offspring remains unclear. Objective To evaluate the effect of maternal vitamin D deficiency during pregnancy on the glycolipid metabolism of offspring at different life-cycles (from birth to adulthood) and to explore the improvement of different dosages of vitamin D supplementation. Methods Sprague-Dawley rats were fed vitamin D-deprived (VDD group) or standard vitamin D diets (SC group) during pregnancy, and their diets were changed to standard vitamin D diets during lactation (the offspring were sorted into VDDoffspring and SCoffspring groups). After weaning, rats in the VDDoffspring group were randomly assigned to the VDDoffspring, VDDoffspring-S3300 and VDDoffspring-S10000 groups with diets containing standard, medium and high dosages of vitamin D for 12 wk. Serum was collected for biochemical analyses at postnatal Day 21, postnatal Day 56 and postnatal Day 84. Oral glucose tolerance test (OGTT) was performed at postnatal Day 70. Results Compared to SCoffspring, rats in the VDDoffspring group had significantly lower birth weight with faster weight gain and higher levels of lipid metabolism in early life. After near adulthood, the differences in weight and lipid metabolism between the two groups disappeared. OGTT showed significantly higher blood glucose levels in the VDDoffspring group at 30 min, 60 min, and 90 min. The continuation of vitamin D supplementation at medium and high dosages after weaning did not cause any obvious changes in weight or glycolipid metabolism (except for postprandial hyperglycemia). OGTT demonstrated that the glucose levels in the VDDoffspring-S3300 group were lowest at all the time points and that those in the VDDoffspring-S10000 group were the highest at 30 min, 60 min, and 90 min among the three groups. Conclusion The adverse effects of vitamin D deficiency during pregnancy on glycolipid metabolism in offspring vary in different stages. Over a long time period, adequate vitamin D supplementation is beneficial to glycolipid metabolism for the offspring of subjects with vitamin D deficiency during pregnancy; however, further improvement is required.

Abstract
This Letter reports one of the most precise measurements to date of the antineutrino spectrum from a purely ^{235}U-fueled reactor, made with the final dataset from the PROSPECT-I detector at the High Flux Isotope Reactor. By extracting information from previously unused detector segments, this analysis effectively doubles the statistics of the previous PROSPECT measurement. The reconstructed energy spectrum is unfolded into antineutrino energy and compared with both the Huber-Mueller model and a spectrum from a commercial reactor burning multiple fuel isotopes. A local excess over the model is observed in the 5-7 MeV energy region. Comparison of the PROSPECT results with those from commercial reactors provides new constraints on the origin of this excess, disfavoring at 2.0 and 3.7 standard deviations the hypotheses that antineutrinos from ^{235}U are solely responsible and noncontributors to the excess observed at commercial reactors, respectively.

Abstract
We present the first measurement of the cross section of Cabibbo-suppressed Λ baryon production, using data collected with the MicroBooNE detector when exposed to the neutrinos from the main injector beam at the Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory. The data analyzed correspond to 2.2×10^{20} protons on target running in neutrino mode, and 4.9×10^{20} protons on target running in anti-neutrino mode. An automated selection is combined with hand scanning, with the former identifying five candidate Λ production events when the signal was unblinded, consistent with the GENIE prediction of 5.3±1.1 events. Several scanners were employed, selecting between three and five events, compared with a prediction from a blinded Monte Carlo simulation study of 3.7±1.0 events. Restricting the phase space to only include Λ baryons that decay above MicroBooNE's detection thresholds, we obtain a flux averaged cross section of 2.0_{-1.7}^{+2.2}×10^{-40} cm^{2}/Ar, where statistical and systematic uncertainties are combined.

Abstract
The ICARUS collaboration employed the 760-ton T600 detector in a successful 3-year physics run at the underground LNGS laboratory, performing a sensitive search for LSND-like anomalous ν e appearance in the CERN Neutrino to Gran Sasso beam, which contributed to the constraints on the allowed neutrino oscillation parameters to a narrow region around 1 eV2 . After a significant overhaul at CERN, the T600 detector has been installed at Fermilab. In 2020 the cryogenic commissioning began with detector cool down, liquid argon filling and recirculation. ICARUS then started its operations collecting the first neutrino events from the booster neutrino beam (BNB) and the Neutrinos at the Main Injector (NuMI) beam off-axis, which were used to test the ICARUS event selection, reconstruction and analysis algorithms. ICARUS successfully completed its commissioning phase in June 2022. The first goal of the ICARUS data taking will be a study to either confirm or refute the claim by Neutrino-4 short-baseline reactor experiment. ICARUS will also perform measurement of neutrino cross sections with the NuMI beam and several Beyond Standard Model searches. After the first year of operations, ICARUS will search for evidence of sterile neutrinos jointly with the Short-Baseline Near Detector, within the Short-Baseline Neutrino program. In this paper, the main activities carried out during the overhauling and installation phases are highlighted. Preliminary technical results from the ICARUS commissioning data with the BNB and NuMI beams are presented both in terms of performance of all ICARUS subsystems and of capability to select and reconstruct neutrino events.

Abstract
Reactor neutrino experiments play a crucial role in advancing our knowledge of neutrinos. In this Letter, the evolution of the flux and spectrum as a function of the reactor isotopic content is reported in terms of the inverse-beta-decay yield at Daya Bay with 1958 days of data and improved systematic uncertainties. These measurements are compared with two signature model predictions: the Huber-Mueller model based on the conversion method and the SM2018 model based on the summation method. The measured average flux and spectrum, as well as the flux evolution with the ^{239}Pu isotopic fraction, are inconsistent with the predictions of the Huber-Mueller model. In contrast, the SM2018 model is shown to agree with the average flux and its evolution but fails to describe the energy spectrum. Altering the predicted inverse-beta-decay spectrum from ^{239}Pu fission does not improve the agreement with the measurement for either model. The models can be brought into better agreement with the measurements if either the predicted spectrum due to ^{235}U fission is changed or the predicted ^{235}U, ^{238}U, ^{239}Pu, and ^{241}Pu spectra are changed in equal measure.

Abstract
PURPOSE This study aimed to examine the modifiable predictors of T2DM and the roles of insulin resistance (IR) and β-cell function over a 6-year study and 30-year follow-up. METHODS A total of 462 non-diabetic participants, 282 with impaired glucose tolerance (IGT), and 180 with normal glucose tolerance (NGT) were enrolled in this analysis. The Matsuda IR index and area under the curve of insulin-to-glucose ratio (AUCI/G-R) were used as IR and β-cell function indices in the analysis. RESULTS In all participants, multivariable analysis showed that BMI, glucose status, Matsuda IR index and systolic blood pressure (SBP) at baseline were independently associated with an increased risk of T2DM over 30 years, whereas lifestyle intervention and AUCI/G-R were inversely associated with this risk. The predictive effect of the Matsuda IR index and AUCI/G-R in participants with IGT was consistent with the results of all participants, whereas in those with NGT, only the Matsuda IR index, not the AUCI/G-R, predicted the development of T2DM (HR = 1.42, 95% CI 1.07-1.89 vs HR = 1.09, 95% CI 0.76-1.56). The predictive effect of the Matsuda IR index on T2DM existed even in participants with BMI < 25 (p = 0.049). CONCLUSION The modifiable predictors of T2DM in Chinese adults were high BMI, hypertension, mild hyperglycaemia, IR, and β-cell dysfunction. Both IR and β-cell function contributed to the development of T2DM in the long term; however, IR remains the initial and long-standing key risk factor for T2DM.

Abstract
We present a new determination of the smallest neutrino mixing angle θ_{13} and the mass-squared difference Δm_{32}^{2} using a final sample of 5.55×10^{6} inverse beta-decay (IBD) candidates with the final-state neutron captured on gadolinium. This sample is selected from the complete dataset obtained by the Daya Bay reactor neutrino experiment in 3158 days of operation. Compared to the previous Daya Bay results, selection of IBD candidates has been optimized, energy calibration refined, and treatment of backgrounds further improved. The resulting oscillation parameters are sin^{2}2θ_{13}=0.0851±0.0024, Δm_{32}^{2}=(2.466±0.060)×10^{-3} eV^{2} for the normal mass ordering or Δm_{32}^{2}=-(2.571±0.060)×10^{-3} eV^{2} for the inverted mass ordering.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Ovarian granulosa cell tumor (GCT) is a rare type of malignant sex-cord stromal tumor, with adult and juvenile types. The ovarian GCT initially presented as a giant liver mass clinically mimicking primary cholangiocarcinoma is exceedingly rare. CASE REPORT We report such a case of a 66-year-old woman who presented with right upper quadrant pain. Abdominal magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and a subsequently fused positron emission tomography/computed tomography (PET/CT) showed a solid and cystic mass with hypermetabolic activity concerning intrahepatic primary cystic cholangiocarcinoma. A fine-needle core biopsy of the liver mass showed coffee-bean-shaped tumor cells. The tumor cells were positive for Forkhead Box L2 (FOXL2), inhibin, Wilms tumor protein 1 (WT-1), steroidogenic factor 1 (SF1), vimentin, estrogen receptor (ER), and smooth muscle actin (SMA). The histologic features and immunoprofile supported a metastatic sex-cord stromal tumor favoring granulosa cell tumor, adult type. Strata next-generation sequencing test was performed on the liver biopsy and FOXL2 c.402C>G (p.C134W) mutation was present, consistent with granulosa cell tumor. CONCLUSION To the best of our knowledge, this is the first documented case of ovarian granulosa cell tumor with FOXL2 mutation initially presenting as a giant liver mass clinically mimicking primary cystic cholangiocarcinoma.

Abstract
We present a search for eV-scale sterile neutrino oscillations in the MicroBooNE liquid argon detector, simultaneously considering all possible appearance and disappearance effects within the 3+1 active-to-sterile neutrino oscillation framework. We analyze the neutrino candidate events for the recent measurements of charged-current ν_{e} and ν_{μ} interactions in the MicroBooNE detector, using data corresponding to an exposure of 6.37×10^{20} protons on target from the Fermilab booster neutrino beam. We observe no evidence of light sterile neutrino oscillations and derive exclusion contours at the 95% confidence level in the plane of the mass-squared splitting Δm_{41}^{2} and the sterile neutrino mixing angles θ_{μe} and θ_{ee}, excluding part of the parameter space allowed by experimental anomalies. Cancellation of ν_{e} appearance and ν_{e} disappearance effects due to the full 3+1 treatment of the analysis leads to a degeneracy when determining the oscillation parameters, which is discussed in this Letter and will be addressed by future analyses.

Abstract
Childhood obesity has become a public health concern. As the importance of vitamin A (VA) in the body has become increasingly acknowledged, there is limited clinical trial evidence to substantiate the association between VA and childhood obesity. Vitamin A deficiency (VAD) increases the risk of childhood obesity, a finding consistently reported in pregnant women. VA could regulate the adipogenic process, inflammation, oxidative stress and metabolism-related gene expression in mature adipocytes. VAD disrupts the balance of obesity-related metabolism, thus affecting lipid metabolism and insulin regulation. Conversely, VA supplementation has a major impact on efficacy in obesity, and obese individuals typically have a lower VA status than normal-weight individuals. Several studies have attempted to identify the genetic and molecular mechanisms underlying the association between VA and obesity. In this review, we summarize and discuss recent new developments focusing on retinol, retinoic acid, and RBP4 and elucidate and provide an overview of the complex interrelationships between these critical components of VA and childhood obesity. However, the causal relationship between VA status and childhood obesity remains unclear. It is also unknown whether VA supplementation improves the overall obesogenic metabolic profile.

Abstract
OBJECTIVES To explore the relationship between total bilirubin (TBil) and stroke risk in older patients with obstructive sleep apnea syndrome (OSAS). METHODS A total of 1,007 patients with OSAS without stroke history aged ≥ 60 years and with complete serum TBil records were enrolled in this study. The median follow-up was 42 months. Participants were divided into four groups based on the quartile of the baseline serum TBil concentration. Multivariate Cox proportional hazards analysis and restricted cubic spline (RCS) were used to investigate the association of TBil with the incidence of new-onset stroke. RESULTS The PRIMARY part: the third quantile TBil level group had the lowest prevalence of stroke among the four groups. The RCS functions depicted a J-type curve relationship between TBil (3.3-33.3 µmol/L) and stroke (nonlinear P < 0.05). When the TBil level was in the range of 3.3 to 11.5 µmol/L, the possible protective influence of bilirubin against stroke in patients with OSAS enhanced with an increasing TBil level. However, when the TBil level exceeded 11.5 µmol/L and gradually increased, the effect of TBil on stroke risk became more and more pronounced. The SECONDARY part: for every 1 µmol/L increase in TBil levels in the range of 11.5 to 33.3 µmol/L, the risk of stroke in patients with OSAS increased by 16.2% (P < 0.001). In addition, there was a higher risk in women with OSAS (hazard ratio (HR)=1.292, 95% confidence interval (95%CI): 1.093-1.528; P = 0.003). Moreover, an increased TBil level alone was significantly associated with stroke in subjects aged < 75 years (HR: 1.190, 95%CI: 1.069-1.324), patients with mild-to-moderate OSAS (HR: 1.215, 95%CI: 1.083-1.364), and individuals without atrial fibrillation (AF) (HR: 1.179, 95%CI: 1.083-1.285) within a TBil level in the range of 11.5 to 33.3 µmol/L. CONCLUSIONS Both lower and higher bilirubin levels may increase the risk of stroke in older persons with OSAS, and there was a J-type dose-response relationship. The risk of stroke was lowest when the TBil level was approximately 11.5 µmol/L.

Abstract
Context Analysis of diagnostic information in pathology reports for the purposes of clinical or translational research and quality assessment/control often requires manual data extraction, which can be laborious, time-consuming, and subject to mistakes. Objective We sought to develop, employ, and evaluate a simple, dictionary- and rule-based natural language processing (NLP) algorithm for generating searchable information on various types of parameters from diverse surgical pathology reports. Design Data were exported from the pathology laboratory information system (LIS) into extensible markup language (XML) documents, which were parsed by NLP-based Python code into desired data points and delivered to Excel spreadsheets. Accuracy and efficiency were compared to a manual data extraction method with concordance measured by Cohen's κ coefficient and corresponding P values. Results The automated method was highly concordant (90%-100%, P<.001) with excellent inter-observer reliability (Cohen's κ: 0.86-1.0) compared to the manual method in 3 clinicopathological research scenarios, including squamous dysplasia presence and grade in anal biopsies, epithelial dysplasia grade and location in colonoscopic surveillance biopsies, and adenocarcinoma grade and amount in prostate core biopsies. Significantly, the automated method was 24-39 times faster and inherently contained links for each diagnosis to additional variables such as patient age, location, etc., which would require additional manual processing time. Conclusions A simple, flexible, and scaleable NLP-based platform can be used to correctly, safely, and quickly extract and deliver linked data from pathology reports into searchable spreadsheets for clinical and research purposes.

Abstract
This Letter reports the first measurement of high-energy reactor antineutrinos at Daya Bay, with nearly 9000 inverse beta decay candidates in the prompt energy region of 8-12 MeV observed over 1958 days of data collection. A multivariate analysis is used to separate 2500 signal events from background statistically. The hypothesis of no reactor antineutrinos with neutrino energy above 10 MeV is rejected with a significance of 6.2 standard deviations. A 29% antineutrino flux deficit in the prompt energy region of 8-11 MeV is observed compared to a recent model prediction. We provide the unfolded antineutrino spectrum above 7 MeV as a data-based reference for other experiments. This result provides the first direct observation of the production of antineutrinos from several high-Q_{β} isotopes in commercial reactors.

Abstract
DUNE is a dual-site experiment for long-baseline neutrino oscillation studies, neutrino astrophysics and nucleon decay searches. ProtoDUNE Dual Phase (DP) is a 6 × 6 × 6 m 3 liquid argon time-projection-chamber (LArTPC) that recorded cosmic-muon data at the CERN Neutrino Platform in 2019-2020 as a prototype of the DUNE Far Detector. Charged particles propagating through the LArTPC produce ionization and scintillation light. The scintillation light signal in these detectors can provide the trigger for non-beam events. In addition, it adds precise timing capabilities and improves the calorimetry measurements. In ProtoDUNE-DP, scintillation and electroluminescence light produced by cosmic muons in the LArTPC is collected by photomultiplier tubes placed up to 7 m away from the ionizing track. In this paper, the ProtoDUNE-DP photon detection system performance is evaluated with a particular focus on the different wavelength shifters, such as PEN and TPB, and the use of Xe-doped LAr, considering its future use in giant LArTPCs. The scintillation light production and propagation processes are analyzed and a comparison of simulation to data is performed, improving understanding of the liquid argon properties.

Abstract
We present a measurement of ν_{e} interactions from the Fermilab Booster Neutrino Beam using the MicroBooNE liquid argon time projection chamber to address the nature of the excess of low energy interactions observed by the MiniBooNE Collaboration. Three independent ν_{e} searches are performed across multiple single electron final states, including an exclusive search for two-body scattering events with a single proton, a semi-inclusive search for pionless events, and a fully inclusive search for events containing all hadronic final states. With differing signal topologies, statistics, backgrounds, reconstruction algorithms, and analysis approaches, the results are found to be either consistent with or modestly lower than the nominal ν_{e} rate expectations from the Booster Neutrino Beam and no excess of ν_{e} events is observed.

Abstract
Objective: To determine whether insulin resistance is associated with all-cause mortality in subjects without diabetes. Methods: A total of 505 participants without diabetes, 198 with normal glucose tolerance (NGT) and 307 with impaired glucose tolerance (IGT), were recruited from the Daqing Diabetes Study. The participants were followed up for 30 years. They were stratified into three groups (tertiles) according to baseline homeostasis model assessment of insulin resistance(HOMA-IR) levels, as the HOMA-IR 0, the HOMA-IR 1 and the HOMA-IR 2 groups, to assess the predictive effect of insulin resistance on risk of all-cause mortality. Results: During the 30-year follow-up, 52, 56 and 78 participants died across the three HOMA-IR groups, respectively. The corresponding mortality per 1 000 person-years (95%CI) were 12.12 (9.56-15.01), 13.10 (10.46-16.03) and 19.91 (16.73-23.15), respectively. Participants in the HOMA-IR 2 group had a significantly higher risk of death than those in the HOMA-IR 0 group after adjustment of age, sex and smoking status (HR=1.97,95%CI 1.38-2.81, P<0.001). Cox analyses showed that a one standard deviation increase in HOMA-IR was associated with a 22% increase in the mortality after adjustment of potential confounders (HR=1.22, 95%CI 1.08-1.39, P=0.002). Conclusions: Insulin resistance is associated with increased risk of all-cause death in Chinese people without diabetes, suggesting that improving insulin resistance could be beneficial for people without diabetic in reducing risk of long-term all-cause mortality.

Abstract
We report a measurement of the energy-dependent total charged-current cross section σ(E_{ν}) for inclusive muon neutrinos scattering on argon, as well as measurements of flux-averaged differential cross sections as a function of muon energy and hadronic energy transfer (ν). Data corresponding to 5.3×10^{19} protons on target of exposure were collected using the MicroBooNE liquid argon time projection chamber located in the Fermilab booster neutrino beam with a mean neutrino energy of approximately 0.8 GeV. The mapping between the true neutrino energy E_{ν} and reconstructed neutrino energy E_{ν}^{rec} and between the energy transfer ν and reconstructed hadronic energy E_{had}^{rec} are validated by comparing the data and Monte Carlo (MC) predictions. In particular, the modeling of the missing hadronic energy and its associated uncertainties are verified by a new method that compares the E_{had}^{rec} distributions between data and a MC prediction after constraining the reconstructed muon kinematic distributions, energy, and polar angle to those of data. The success of this validation gives confidence that the missing energy in the MicroBooNE detector is well modeled and underpins first-time measurements of both the total cross section σ(E_{ν}) and the differential cross section dσ/dν on argon.

Abstract
Over the past few decades, neuroimaging has become a ubiquitous tool in basic research and clinical studies of the human brain. However, no reference standards currently exist to quantify individual differences in neuroimaging metrics over time, in contrast to growth charts for anthropometric traits such as height and weight1. Here we assemble an interactive open resource to benchmark brain morphology derived from any current or future sample of MRI data ( http://www.brainchart.io/ ). With the goal of basing these reference charts on the largest and most inclusive dataset available, acknowledging limitations due to known biases of MRI studies relative to the diversity of the global population, we aggregated 123,984 MRI scans, across more than 100 primary studies, from 101,457 human participants between 115 days post-conception to 100 years of age. MRI metrics were quantified by centile scores, relative to non-linear trajectories2 of brain structural changes, and rates of change, over the lifespan. Brain charts identified previously unreported neurodevelopmental milestones3, showed high stability of individuals across longitudinal assessments, and demonstrated robustness to technical and methodological differences between primary studies. Centile scores showed increased heritability compared with non-centiled MRI phenotypes, and provided a standardized measure of atypical brain structure that revealed patterns of neuroanatomical variation across neurological and psychiatric disorders. In summary, brain charts are an essential step towards robust quantification of individual variation benchmarked to normative trajectories in multiple, commonly used neuroimaging phenotypes.

Abstract
We report results from a search for neutrino-induced neutral current (NC) resonant Δ(1232) baryon production followed by Δ radiative decay, with a ⟨0.8⟩ GeV neutrino beam. Data corresponding to MicroBooNE's first three years of operations (6.80×10^{20} protons on target) are used to select single-photon events with one or zero protons and without charged leptons in the final state (1γ1p and 1γ0p, respectively). The background is constrained via an in situ high-purity measurement of NC π^{0} events, made possible via dedicated 2γ1p and 2γ0p selections. A total of 16 and 153 events are observed for the 1γ1p and 1γ0p selections, respectively, compared to a constrained background prediction of 20.5±3.65(syst) and 145.1±13.8(syst) events. The data lead to a bound on an anomalous enhancement of the normalization of NC Δ radiative decay of less than 2.3 times the predicted nominal rate for this process at the 90% confidence level (C.L.). The measurement disfavors a candidate photon interpretation of the MiniBooNE low-energy excess as a factor of 3.18 times the nominal NC Δ radiative decay rate at the 94.8% C.L., in favor of the nominal prediction, and represents a greater than 50-fold improvement over the world's best limit on single-photon production in NC interactions in the sub-GeV neutrino energy range.

Abstract
There are few reports about the relationship between dact2 and liver fibrosis. The inhibitory mechanism of dact2 in liver fibrosis is not clear, we need to further explore it. In this study has been shown that the dact2 gene can inhibit liver fibrosis. In this experiment, we used lentivirus as a vector to construct a lentivirus vector carrying the dact2 gene and packaged dact2 recombinant lentivirus and its control vector. HSC-T6 infected cells were observed. The effect of dact2 gene expression was activated by Wnt3a HSC-T6 cells. Immunoblot was used to detect α - SMA expression, TGF - β 1, Smad3, Smad7, β - Catenin and CyclinD1. The expression of MMP-2 and TIMP-1 was detected by real-time PCR. At the same time, dact2 recombinant lentivirus was injected into the tail vein. Carbon tetrachloride was used to establish the liver fibrosis model. After 7 weeks of modeling, the staining was used to observe the pathological changes of liver tissue, hydroxyproline was used to analyze the changes of collagen content in liver tissue, the expression of the protein was observed by immunohistochemistry, and the expression of fibrosis-related genes was detected by real-time PCR. Results showed that the dact2 gene expression could inhibit the activation of HSC-T6 cells and reduce the expression of TGF - β 1. The percentage of Smad3, β - Catenin and cyclinD1 protein was 50.02%, 46.73%, 47.58% and 37.50% respectively (P < 0.05).

Abstract
A joint determination of the reactor antineutrino spectra resulting from the fission of ^{235}U and ^{239}Pu has been carried out by the Daya Bay and PROSPECT Collaborations. This Letter reports the level of consistency of ^{235}U spectrum measurements from the two experiments and presents new results from a joint analysis of both data sets. The measurements are found to be consistent. The combined analysis reduces the degeneracy between the dominant ^{235}U and ^{239}Pu isotopes and improves the uncertainty of the ^{235}U spectral shape to about 3%. The ^{235}U and ^{239}Pu antineutrino energy spectra are unfolded from the jointly deconvolved reactor spectra using the Wiener-SVD unfolding method, providing a data-based reference for other reactor antineutrino experiments and other applications. This is the first measurement of the ^{235}U and ^{239}Pu spectra based on the combination of experiments at low- and highly enriched uranium reactors.

Abstract
The PROSPECT and STEREO collaborations present a combined measurement of the pure ^{235}U antineutrino spectrum, without site specific corrections or detector-dependent effects. The spectral measurements of the two highest precision experiments at research reactors are found to be compatible with χ^{2}/ndf=24.1/21, allowing a joint unfolding of the prompt energy measurements into antineutrino energy. This ν[over ¯]_{e} energy spectrum is provided to the community, and an excess of events relative to the Huber model is found in the 5-6 MeV region. When a Gaussian bump is fitted to the excess, the data-model χ^{2} value is improved, corresponding to a 2.4σ significance.

Abstract
Objective: To investigate the auxiliary diagnostic value of seven tumor-associated autoantibodies (AABs) P53, PGP9.5, SOX2, GAGE7, GBU4-5, MAGEA1 and CAGE in early non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Methods: The case-control study enrolled 195 patients with early NSCLC [71 males and 124 females, aged (55.70±11.78) years old], 114 patients with benign lung disease [44 males and 70 females, aged (52.85±12.31) years old] and 100 healthy subjects [39 males and 61 females, aged (53.62±9.97) years old] from the First Affiliate Hospital of Nanjing Medical University from June 2020 to December 2020. AABs were detected by enzyme-linked-immunosorbent serologic assay (ELISA), and carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA),cytokeratin 19-fragments (CYFRA21-1) and neuron specific enolase (NSE) were detected by electrochemiluminescence. The levels of AABs,CEA,CYFRA21-1 and NSE in the 3 groups were compared. Patients with benign lung diseases and healthy subjects were combined into the control group, and the positive rate of each indicator in the NSCLC group and the control group was compared. The diagnostic efficacy of single and combined tests for NSCLC were obtained using receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curves. Besides, the relationship between the levels of AABs, CEA, CYFRA21-1 and NSE and their clinicopathological features and preoperative imaging parameters in NSCLC patients was assessed. Results: The levels of SOX2 [0.70 (0.10, 2.40) U/mL] and GBU4-5 [1.30 (0.30, 8.90) U/mL] in NSCLC group were higher than those in benign disease group [SOX2: 0.50 (0.10, 1.60) U/mL, GBU4-5: 0.80 (0.10, 2.30) U/mL, Z values were 27.258 and 45.797; P values were all<0.05] and health control group [SOX2: 0.45 (0.10, 1.08) U/mL, GBU4-5: 0.75 (0.20, 1.78) U/mL, Z values were 32.551 and 40.456; P values were all<0.05], and there was no significant difference between benign disease group and health control group (Z values were 5.293 and 5.340, P values were all>0.05). The levels of CEA [1.75 (1.08, 2.72) U/mL] and CYFRA21-1 [1.81 (1.41, 2.36) U/mL] in NSCLC group were higher than those in healthy control group [CEA: 1.22 (0.68, 1.81) U/mL, CYFRA21-1: 1.43 (1.14, 1.74) U/mL, Z values were 64.100 and 37.597; P values were all<0.05], but there was no significant difference between NSCLC group and benign group [CEA: 1.74 (1.01, 2.51) U/mL, CYFRA21-1: 1.82 (1.45, 2.46) U/mL, Z values were 7.275 and 10.621; P values were all>0.05]. The positive rates of P53, SOX2, GAGE7, GBU4-5 and CEA in NSCLC group were higher than those in the control group [P53: 10.3% vs 0.9%, SOX2: 11.3% vs 2.3%, GAGE7: 11.3% vs 0.5%, GBU4-5: 30.1% vs 5.6%, CEA: 9.7% vs 0.9%, χ2 values were 17.420, 13.242, 22.485, 43.211, 16.255, respectively; P values were all<0.05]. The diagnostic efficiency of the combined detection of seven AABs was better than that of single detection. Seven AABs combined with CEA [area under curve (AUC): 0.732, sensitivity: 64.10%] and with CYFRA21-1 (AUC: 0.737, sensitivity: 58.97%) greatly improved the diagnostic efficiency and sensitivity of CEA (AUC: 0.583, sensitivity: 50.77%) and CYFRA21-1 (AUC: 0.552, sensitivity: 44.10%). The levels of SOX2 and CEA in NSCLC patients were correlated with the degree of tumor invasion (H values were 6.436 and 14.071; P values were all<0.05); the levels of GAGE7 and CEA were correlated with the nodule density (H values were 7.643 and 12.268; P values were all<0.05); and the levels of SOX2, GAGE7, CEA and CYFRA21-1 were all correlated with the nodule size (H values were 10.837, 11.528, 31.835, 20.338; P values were all<0.05). Conclusion: The detection of AABs combined with CEA and CYFRA21-1 is helpful for the early auxiliary diagnosis of NSCLC, and plays an important role in prevention and screening for early lung cancer.

Abstract
Background: Trichohepatoenteric syndrome (THES) is a rare disease that mainly causes intractable diarrhea. It is classified into THES1 and THES2, which are associated with the tetratricopeptide repeat domain 37 (TTC37) gene and Ski2-like RNA helicase (SKIV2L) gene, respectively. THES is not very prevalent in China or worldwide, but new cases have increasingly been reported. Methods and Results: Here, we report the clinical and genetic information of a 1.5-month-old girl who was admitted to our hospital due to diarrhea and failure to thrive. Whole-exome sequencing (WES) revealed novel compound-heterozygous variants of the SKIV2L gene, c.3602_3609delAGCGCCTG (p.Q1201Rfs*2), and c.1990A > G (p.T664A) as the causative factors, which were confirmed via Sanger sequencing. Upon continuous feeding with an amino-acid formula through a gastric tube and parenteral nutrition, the patient resumed thriving and her stool frequency decreased. Conclusion: We report a girl carrying novel variants of the SKIV2L gene that cause THES2, thereby providing valuable information on the diagnosis of THES2 and expanding the spectrum of disease-causing SKIV2L mutations.

Abstract
We present a search for the decays of a neutral scalar boson produced by kaons decaying at rest, in the context of the Higgs portal model, using the MicroBooNE detector. We analyze data triggered in time with the Fermilab NuMI neutrino beam spill, with an exposure of 1.93×10^{20} protons on target. We look for monoenergetic scalars that come from the direction of the NuMI hadron absorber, at a distance of 100 m from the detector, and decay to electron-positron pairs. We observe one candidate event, with a standard model background prediction of 1.9±0.8. We set an upper limit on the scalar-Higgs mixing angle of θ<(3.3-4.6)×10^{-4} at the 95% confidence level for scalar boson masses in the range (100-200) MeV/c^{2}. We exclude, at the 95% confidence level, the remaining model parameters required to explain the central value of a possible excess of K_{L}^{0}→π^{0}νν[over ¯] decays reported by the KOTO collaboration. We also provide a model-independent limit on a new boson X produced in K→πX decays and decaying to e^{+}e^{-}.

Measurement of the flux-averaged inclusive charged-current electron neutrino and antineutrino cross section on argon using the NuMI beam and the MicroBooNE detector. Int J Clin Exp Med 2021. Abstract
Yes-associated protein-1 (YAP1) is a potent transcriptional co-activator and functions as an important downstream effector of the Hippo signaling pathway, which is key to regulating cell proliferation, apoptosis, and organ growth. YAP1 has been implicated as an oncogene for various human cancers including gastrointestinal cancers and hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). YAP1 promotes tumorigenesis and cancer progression by multiple mechanisms, such as by promoting malignant phenotypes, expanding cancer stem cells, and inducing epithelial-mesenchymal transition. YAP1 overexpression or its activated forms are associated with advanced pathological grades and poor prognosis of cancer, and therefore targeting YAP1 may open a fertile avenue for cancer therapy. In this review, we summarize the recent evidence regarding the role of YAP1 in the carcinogenesis of gastrointestinal cancers and HCC.

Abstract
In liquid argon time projection chambers exposed to neutrino beams and running on or near surface levels, cosmic muons, and other cosmic particles are incident on the detectors while a single neutrino-induced event is being recorded. In practice, this means that data from surface liquid argon time projection chambers will be dominated by cosmic particles, both as a source of event triggers and as the majority of the particle count in true neutrino-triggered events. In this work, we demonstrate a novel application of deep learning techniques to remove these background particles by applying deep learning on full detector images from the SBND detector, the near detector in the Fermilab Short-Baseline Neutrino Program. We use this technique to identify, on a pixel-by-pixel level, whether recorded activity originated from cosmic particles or neutrino interactions.

Abstract
To investigate the risk factors of lymph node metastasis in early gastric cancer (EGC) and to develop a risk model for the presence of lymph node metastasis. A total of 172 EGC patients, with a median age of 62(52, 68) years, who underwent gastric cancer resection in the First Affiliated Hospital of Nanjing Medical University from January 2017 to June 2019 were selected. Clinical data of the patients were collected through the case system. Logistic regression analysis was used to determine the variables significantly related to lymph node metastasis. ROC curve and calibration curve were used to evaluate the risk model. The results showed that the lymph node metastasis rate of 172 EGC patients was 19.19% (33/172). Tumor size, depth of invasion, degree of differentiation and vascular tumor thrombus were associated with lymph node metastasis (P<0.05), but age ≥ 60 years (OR=5.556, 95%CI: 1.757-17.569, P=0.004), invasion depth (OR=4.218,95%CI:1.418-12.548, P=0.010) and vascular cancer embolus (OR=13.878,95%CI:4.081-47.196,P<0.001) were independent risk factors for lymph node metastasis of EGC. The consistency index of the risk model based on the above risk factors was 0.8835 (95%CI: 0.818 8-0.948 2). The calibration curve shows that the risk assessment model is in good agreement with the actual results, indicating that the model has high accuracy and discrimination.The most common site of metastasis was group 3, followed by group 4. Therefore, patients over 60 years old with submucosal invasion and vascular tumor thrombus may have a higher risk of lymph node metastasis.
