Abstract
Lissajous structured beams emerging from a spherical laser cavity subject to the birefringent effect of the laser crystal are quantitatively analyzed. The analysis reveals that the birefringent effect leads to numerous frequency degeneracies at the cavity lengths near an ideal degenerate cavity. By using a diode-pumped Nd:GdVO4 laser, the emergence of Lissajous structured modes relevant to frequency degeneracies is precisely quantified by comparing experimental results with numerical analyses. The present quantitative analysis provides an important guideline for the generation of structured transverse modes related to the ray-wave correspondence.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Readiness for hospital discharge is associated with patients' health outcomes after they return home. However, little is known about this association among cancer patients receiving oral chemotherapy at home. This study aimed to examine whether patients' reported readiness for hospital discharge was associated with symptoms and non-routine utilization of post-discharge services among cancer patients receiving oral chemotherapy at home. METHODS A prospective study was conducted, and 151 cancer patients receiving oral chemotherapy were recruited from a provincial level hospital in South China between October 2018 and December 2019. The primary outcome was readiness for hospital discharge assessed by the Readiness for Hospital Discharge Scale-Short Form on the day of discharge. The secondary endpoints were symptoms assessed by MD Anderson Symptom Inventory and non-routine utilization of post-discharge services within one cycle of chemotherapy at home (21 days). RESULTS Among these 151 participants, 74.2% of them reported as ready for discharge. Patients who were employed, lived in suburban area or villages, had a higher Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group score, took Tegafur as oral chemotherapy, and took oral chemotherapy for the first time reported lower readiness for hospital discharge. These five factors explained 28.1% of variance in readiness for hospital discharge. Patients who were not ready for discharge were prone to report higher symptom severity (p = 0.038). No differences in non-routine utilization of post-discharge services were found between the readiness versus non-readiness for discharge groups (p = 0.891). CONCLUSIONS Most cancer patients receiving oral chemotherapy at home were ready for discharge, which was influenced by employment status, residence status, Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group score, type of oral chemotherapy drug, and the experience of taking oral chemotherapy at home. Patients with lower readiness reported worse symptom severity at home. Routine assessment was suggested to recognize unready patients, and more extensive preparations for discharge were recommended to help them manage symptoms at home.

Abstract
Abstract
The epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) C797S mutation is the most common on-target resistance mechanism to osimertinib in patients with advanced non-small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Currently there are no effective treatment options for NSCLC patients harboring EGFR C797S triple mutants (Del19/T790M/C797S and L858R/T790M/C797S). Herein, we report an orally bioavailable EGFR PROTAC, HJM-561, which selectively degrades the EGFR C797S-containing triple mutants. HJM-561 potently inhibits the proliferation of Del19/T790M/C797S and L858R/T790M/C797S Ba/F3 cells while sparing cells expressing wild type EGFR. Oral administration of HJM-561 shows robust anti-tumor activity in EGFR Del19/T790M/C797S-driven Ba/F3 CDX and PDX models that were resistant to osimertinib treatment. Taken together, our results suggest that HJM-561 is a promising therapeutic option for overcoming EGFR triple mutation-mediated drug resistance in NSCLC.

Abstract
An electrochemical sensor based on stearyl trimethyl ammonium bromide - functionalized niobium carbide@multi-walled carbon nanotubes (Nb2C@MWCNTs-STAB) for signal amplification was successfully constructed for sensitive detection of nitrite (NO2-). Niobium carbide@multi-walled carbon nanotubes (Nb2C@MWCNTs) with high electrical conductivity and water dispersibility were first prepared in a one-pot hydrothermal synthesis, after which cationic STAB was added to overcome the negative surface charge on the Nb2C@MWCNTs. The electrostatic attraction between Nb2C@MWCNTs-STAB and NO2- was improved by the STAB, which enhanced the sensitivity of the constructed sensor for NO2-. Under optimized conditions, Nb2C@MWCNTs-STAB/GCE exhibited excellent analytical performance for detection NO2- with two wide liner ranges (0.1-100 μmol L-1 and 100-2000 μmol L-1) and a limit of detection of 0.022 μmol L-1. Nitrite recovery tests in milk and spinach samples showed recoveries in the range of 89.82-104.52%. The NO2- residues in ham and pickled vegetable (cedrela sinensis) samples were analysed using the presented sensor and a spectrophotometric method, with no significant difference found between the results of the two methods.

Abstract
Background Multiple clinical trials were conducted to evaluate the efficacy of neoadjuvant therapy in esophageal cancer but exhibited mixed results, indicating that the efficacy of neoadjuvant therapy remains controversial in the treatment of esophageal cancer. Our study was conducted to investigate the value of neoadjuvant therapy in patients with esophageal cancer with supraclavicular lymph node metastases. Methods We retrospectively enrolled 231 patients who had resectable esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC) with supraclavicular lymph node metastases from June 2008 to November 2018. All patients were divided into three groups: the neoadjuvant therapy combined with surgery (Neo + S) group, the radical chemoradiotherapy (CRT) group, and the single radiotherapy (RT) group. Propensity score matching (PSM) was conducted to exclude the impact of potential interferences. Kaplan-Meier analysis, the log-rank test, and competitive risk model analysis were used to assess the efficacy of different therapeutic methods. Results Patients in the Neo + S group had a better 3-year survival rate (72.0% vs. 35.8%; P=0.005), progression-free survival (PFS) (24 vs. 14 months; P<0.0001), and lower 3-year tumor-specific mortality risk (25.1% vs. 53.7%; P=0.005) than those in the CRT group. Furthermore, patients in the CRT group had a better 3-year survival (30.1% vs. 18.6%; P=0.012) and lower 3-year tumor-specific mortality risk (57.9% vs. 76.8%; P=0.011) than those in the RT group. Additionally, the supraclavicular lymph node metastasis rate was higher than the mediastinal lymph node metastasis rate in patients with upper esophageal cancer compared to middle and lower esophageal cancer Conclusions Neoadjuvant chemotherapy combined with surgery showed better efficacy than radical CRT in patients who had resectable ESCC with supraclavicular lymph nodes metastasis. Supraclavicular lymph nodes are more likely to be regional lymph nodes for upper and middle esophageal cancer.

Abstract
Venous malformation (VM), which causes severe damage to patients' appearance and organ function, is one of the most common vascular malformations. At present, many drugs in clinical treatment cause various adverse reactions. Herein, we synthesized cationic amphiphilic gelators (TA6, TA8, and TA9) by introducing saturated carbon chains of different lengths to tranexamic acid (TA), which could self-assemble into low-molecular-weight gels (LMWGs) as drug delivery carriers by hydrogen bonds, van der Waals forces, and hydrophobic interactions. The rheological properties, gelation driving force and drug release profiles of TA6, TA8, and TA9 hydrogels were characterized, and the results indicated that the hydrogels prepared in this study possessed the typical characteristics of a gel and could release drugs slowly. More importantly, the TA9 gelator showed significant pharmacological activity, in that it served as both an active drug compound and a drug carrier. The in vitro experiments demonstrated that TA9 induced HUVECs death and hemolysis by destroying cell membranes in a dose-dependent manner, and caused cell death and hemolysis at a concentration of 0.09 µM/mL. Meanwhile, we found TA9 could interact not only with fibrinogen, but also with other endogenous molecules in the blood. After the administration of TA9 hydrogel for 15 days, macroscopic imaging and histological evaluation in mice and rabbits displayed obvious thrombi, inflammatory reactions, and venous embolization, indicating that the mechanism of the TA9 hydrogel in treating VM was involved in two processes. Firstly, the TA9 hydrogel relied on its mechanical strength to physically block veins and continuously release TA9, in situ, for targeted therapy. Then, TA9 destroyed endothelial cells and damaged venous walls critically, causing thrombi. Most excitingly, TA9 was hydrolyzed to TA by enzymes that inhibited the degradation of thrombi by plasmin to prolong the embolization time and to promote venous fibrosis. Compared with other clinically available sclerosants, the degradation of TA9 also empowered a better biocompatibility and biodegradability for the TA9 hydrogel. In conclusion, we synthesized a potentially safe and effective derivative of TA and developed a low-molecular-weight gel as a self-delivery system for TA in treating VM.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Lung carcinoma is a common geriatric disease. The development of genotype-targeted therapies greatly improved the management of lung carcinoma. However, the treatment for old patients can be more complex than that for young individuals. RESULTS To investigate the benefits of genetic detection for older patients with lung carcinoma, we explored the genomic profiling of 258 patients with more than 55 years using a targeted next generation sequencing, and some of these patients were treated with targeted therapies based on the results of genomic detection. KRAS codon 61 mutations were found in 15.2% KRAS-mutated patients, which tend to be co-existing with other classical activating mutations other than codons 12/13. Acquired EGFR C797S mutations were identified in 2 cases and ERBB2 amplification was identified in 1 case. All these 3 cases developed resistance to EGFR tyrosine kinase inhibitors and showed expected results of their followed therapies. The median progression-free survival and median overall survival of patients treated with molecular targeted therapies were better than those of patients treated with chemoradiotherapy alone. CONCLUSIONS Our findings revealed the specific genomic profiles of patients older than 55 years with lung carcinoma and suggested that these old patients have been benefit from the genetic detection, which helped identify druggable mutations and distinguish resistance mechanisms.

Abstract
Psoriasis is a chronic inflammatory skin disease. Although miRNAs are reported to be associated with the pathogenesis of psoriasis, the contribution of individual microRNAs toward psoriasis remains unclear. The miR-17-92 cluster regulates cell growth and immune functions that are associated with psoriasis. miR-17-3p is a member of miR-17-92 cluster; however, its role in dermatological diseases remains unclear. Our study aims at investigating the effects of miR-17-3p and its potential target gene on keratinocytes proliferation and secretion of pro-inflammatory cytokine and their involvement in psoriasis. Initially, we found that miR-17-3p was upregulated in psoriatic skin lesions, and bioinformatic analyses suggested that CTR9 is likely to be a target gene of miR-17-3p. Quantitative reverse-transcriptase PCR and immunohistochemical analysis revealed that CTR9 expression was downregulated in psoriatic lesions. Using dual-luciferase reporter assays, we identified CTR9 as a direct target of miR-17-3p. Further functional experiments demonstrated that miR-17-3p promoted the proliferation and pro-inflammatory cytokine secretion of keratinocytes, whereas CTR9 exerted the opposite effects. Gain-of-function studies confirmed that CTR9 suppression partially accounted for the effects of miR- 17-3p in keratinocytes. Furthermore, Western blot revealed that miR-17-3p activates the downstream STAT3 signaling pathway while CTR9 inactivates the STAT3 signaling pathway. Together, these findings indicate that miR-17-3p regulates keratinocyte proliferation and pro-inflammatory cytokine secretion partially by targeting the CTR9, which inactivates the downstream STAT3 protein, implying that miR-17-3p might be a novel therapeutic target for psoriasis.

Abstract
Ovarian cancer (OC) is the main type of cancer that affects the female reproductive system and has a high morbidity and mortality rate. This study aimed to explore the regulatory effect of the chromosomal region maintenance 1 (CRM1)-survivin axis on the progression of OC. Ovarian cancer cells were transfected with pcDNA3.1-survivin and short hairpin RNA (sh)-CRM1. Cell proliferation was analyzed by cell counting kit-8 (CCK8), 5-ethynyl-2´-deoxyuridine (EdU) staining, and colony formation assays. Apoptosis was detected using flow cytometry. Quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction (qRT-PCR) and Western blotting were performed to analyze the expression of RNA and protein, respectively. qRT-PCR and prognostic correlation analyses revealed that CRM1 is highly expressed in OC cells and related to survival. The results of qRT-PCR, CCK8, colony formation test, EdU staining, flow cytometry, and Western blotting showed that CRM1 silencing inhibited the proliferation and colony formation of OVCAR 3 and SKOV3 cells and promoted cell apoptosis by promoting Caspase-3 activation. Survivin was positively regulated by CRM1 and promoted the development of OC. The results of the rescue experiment showed that overexpression of survivin reversed the inhibitory effect of CRM1 knockdown on the proliferation of ovarian cancer cells and its inhibitory effect on apoptosis. Our findings confirm the role of the CRM1-survivin signal transduction axis in OC by regulating the proliferation and apoptosis of OC cells, and may thus serve as a potential therapeutic target for OC.

Abstract
The novel coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2), has spread worldwide, and the WHO declared it a pandemic on March 11, 2020. Clinical characteristics and epidemiology features of patients infected with SARS-CoV-2 have been explored in the previous study. However, little is known about the combinative association of liver dysfunction and abnormal interleukins (ILs) in severe patients with COVID-19. This study was designed to estimate whether liver dysfunction and abnormal ILs could predict the severity of COVID-19. This study integrated liver function data and ILs data in patients with COVID-19 and found that liver injury and two ILs, interleukin-2 receptor (IL-2R) and interleukin-6 (IL-6), were closely related to the prognosis of patients with COVID-19. This study may give more exact information to clinicians about the prognosis of patients with COVID-19. In addition, this correlational study between liver disorder and ILs may provide a new vision to diagnosis and treatment in patients.

Abstract
AIMS AND OBJECTIVES To explore whether medication non-adherence experience, readiness for hospital discharge, financial toxicity and symptoms predicted oral chemotherapy adherence at home for Chinese cancer patients. BACKGROUND Oral chemotherapy adherence is critical to determine the treatment efficacy among cancer patients. Identifying predictors before discharge from hospital based on transition theory could assist healthcare providers to improve oral chemotherapy adherence at home. DESIGN An observational prospective study. METHODS Between October 2018 and December 2019, self-reported questionnaires were used to collect data among 151 cancer patients with oral chemotherapy at home. At discharge, baseline data of patient-perceived readiness for hospital discharge, financial toxicity and non-adherence experience were collected, while symptoms and adherence of oral chemotherapy at home were collected after finishing one cycle of oral chemotherapy at home (21 days, the first 14 days received oral chemotherapy). Regression analyses were performed for the predictors' explorations. The STROBE guidelines were followed. RESULTS Among 151 participants with oral chemotherapy at home, 30.46% of patients reported medication non-adherence experience at discharge and 82.12% of patients reported adherence to oral chemotherapy at home. Patients with non-adherence experience at discharge were 5.4 times more likely to being non-adhered to oral chemotherapy at home. Numbness were the most frequent and severe symptoms during at home, patients with numbness were 6.6 times more likely to being non-adhered to oral chemotherapy. Although patients reported high level of readiness for discharge and financial toxicity at discharge, which did not predicted oral chemotherapy adherence at home. CONCLUSIONS Patients with medication non-adherence experience at discharge and symptom of numbness from oral chemotherapy suggested a higher risk of oral chemotherapy non-adherence at home. RELEVANCE TO CLINICAL PRACTICE Preventive interventions should focus on patients with previous medication non-adherence experience at discharge and experiencing numbness to promote oral chemotherapy adherence.

Abstract
Objective: To investigate the current situation of sharp instrument injuries among medical workers in a tertiary general hospital in Fuzhou, so as to provide basis for formulating relevant policies. Methods: In June 2019, medical personnel working in a tertiary general hospital in Fuzhou, who may have sharp instrument injuries were selected as the research object. A total of 2720 questionnaires were received, including 2688 valid questionnaires, with an effective rate of 98.8%. The age, type of work, professional title, working years, operating habits, occurrence and reporting of sharp instrument injuries among medical staff from June 2018 to May 2019 were investigated. Results: The incidence of sharp instrument injury was 37.6% (1011/2688) . Among them, 20.6% (208/1011) had multiple sharp instrument injuries. The exposure rate of contaminated sharp instruments was 15.1% (405/2688) . With the increase of age, professional title and working years, the incidence of sharp instrument injury decreased year by year (χ(2)(trend)=12.393, 33.339, 15.160, P<0.05) . The first three causes of sharp instrument injury were breaking glass ampoules by hand (39.1%, 395/1011) , extracting liquid medicine (10.4%, 105/1011) and handling sharp instruments by hand (10.3%, 104/1011) . The main sharp instruments causing sharp injury were ampoules (43.2%, 437/1011) , syringe needles (20.3%, 205/1011) and suture needles (9.6%, 97/1011) . 874 (86.4%) medical staff had missed reports after sharp instrument injuries. Conclusion: The occurrence of sharp instrument injury in this hospital is still serious, and the protection of sharp instrument injury should be strengthened.

Abstract
Psoriasis is a multifactorial immune-mediated disease. The highly effective and eligible treatment for psoriasis is limited, for its specific pathogenesis is incompletely elucidated. Skin microbiota is a research hotspot in the pathogenesis of immune-mediated inflammatory skin diseases nowadays, and it may have significant involvement in the provocation or exacerbation of psoriasis with broadly applicable prospects. It is postulated that skin microbiota alternation may interplay with innate immunity such as antimicrobial peptides and Toll-like receptors to stimulate T-cell populations, resulting in immune cascade responses and ultimately psoriasis. Achieving a thorough understanding of its underlying pathogenesis is crucial. Herein, we discuss the potential immunopathogenesis of psoriasis from the aspect of skin microbiota in an attempt to yield insights for novel therapeutic and preventive modalities for psoriasis.

Abstract
Quantum entanglement by a beam splitter (BS) is shown to be analogous to laser mode transformation by an astigmatic mode converter (AMC). Schmidt decomposition is used to characterize the entanglement by an AMC for generating orbital angular momentum and by a BS for creating quantum photon interference. The probability distributions of Schmidt decomposition are calculated to manifest the sameness and difference between AMC and BS in generating entanglement. Finally, the theoretical patterns of mode transformations by an AMC are confirmed with experimental results to validate the present analysis.

Abstract
Objective: To discuss the challenges and problems of the prevention and control of emerging infectious diseases in Shanghai as a megacities. Methods: An imported case of cutaneous anthrax occurred in Shanghai on May 30, 2019. Shanghai Municipal Center for Disease Control & Prevention conducted an epidemiological investigation and treatment of the cases; after this case, the data of patients with cutaneous anthrax were collected, and an epidemiological study was conducted. Meanwhile, the wound and blood samples of the patient were collected for laboratory testing. Results: Of the seven wound samples of the patient, 6 were positive for the Bacillus anthracis nucleic acid test, and the double serological test results showed a 4-fold increase in the titer of anthrax antibodies. Shanghai CDC conducted an epidemiological investigation of the confirmed cases and observed its contacts. After treatment, the patients recovered, and no other issues appeared among the 19 contacts. Conclusions: Shanghai must strengthen the training of clinicians on emerging infectious diseases to achieve early detection, diagnosis, and treatment of imported infectious diseases and reduce the incidence, spread, and death of the diseases. At the same time, multi-department joint prevention and control are needed to prevent and control secondary cases.

Abstract
The Schmidt decomposition is exploited to study the spatial entanglement of laser transverse modes analogous to quantum Lissajous states. Based on the inverse Fourier transform, the stationary Lissajous state can be analytically derived as a coherent superposition of degenerate Hermite-Gaussian eigenmodes. With the derived stationary state, the Schmidt modes and the participation number N can be employed to evaluate the spatial localization and the quantum entanglement. The larger the participation number, the more localized is the stationary coherent state on the Lissajous figure. Moreover, the larger the participation number, the higher is the spatial entanglement.

Abstract
Objective: To investigate the risk factors of peritoneal metastasis in primary appendiceal tumor. Methods: The clinic data of 71 patients with primary appendiceal tumor admitted in the Sixth Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University between Dec 2012 and Jan 2019 were enrolled retrospectively. Multivariate logistic regression analysis were carried out to evaluate the risk factors of appendiceal tumor with peritoneal metastasis. Results: Of the 71 patients, 33 were peritoneal metastasis (peritoneal metastasis group) and 38 were non-peritoneal metastasis (no peritoneal metastasis group). Twenty-one patients in the peritoneal metastasis group had increased preoperative cancer embryo antigen (CEA), while 3 cases in the non-peritoneal metastasis group, with statistically significant difference (P<0.001). Sixteen cases in peritoneal metastasis group had increased preoperative carbohydrate antigen 199, while only 2 cases in the non-peritoneal metastasis group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.001). The pathological type of 30 cases in the peritoneal metastasis group was adenocarcinoma (including mucus adenocarcinoma and colon adenocarcinoma), while 12 cases of adenocarcinoma in the non-peritoneal metastasis group, with statistically significant difference (P<0.001). Twelve cases in the peritoneal metastasis group had lymph node metastasis, while 3 cases in the non-peritoneal metastasis group, the difference is statistically significant (P=0.003). Preoperative CEA elevation and pathological type is adenocarinoma were independent risk factors for peritoneal metastasis of appendiceal cancer (P<0.05). Conclusions: The propensity of peritoneal metastasis in primary appendiceal tumor is high and the outcome is poor. Patients with increased preoperative CEA, adenocarcinoma histopathology are more inclined to have peritoneal metastasis.

Abstract
OBJECTIVES Orthotopic liver transplant remains technically challenging. MATERIALS AND METHODS We performed whole graft orthotopic liver transplants with different anhepatic times (≤20 min, n = 19; vs 30 min, n = 9) and partial orthotopic liver transplants in rats including a male-to-male Sprague-Dawley group (n = 15), a male-to-male Lewis-to-Brown Norway group (n = 20), and a male-to-male Sprague-Dawley-to-Lewis group (n = 20); there was also a female-to-male SpragueDawley group (n = 19). RESULTS For the groups with ≤20-minute or 30-minute anhepatic time, 14-day and 30-day survival rates were 94.7%, 89.5%, 88.9%, and 88.9%, respectively, and there was no difference in survival (P = .716). For 50% orthotopic liver transplants from the male-tomale Sprague-Dawley group, 14-day and 30-day survival rates were 93.3% and 86.7%, respectively, with no difference between whole and 50% graft orthotopic liver transplant. The 14-day and 30-day survival rates were, respectively, 30% and 10% for the Lewis-to-Brown Norway group and 30% and 6.6% for the Sprague-Dawley-to-Lewis group, with no differences between the 2 groups (P = .564). Most of the recipient rats died within 72 hours. Acute rejections and wound dehiscence were the causes of death. Recipients from the female-to-male SpragueDawley orthotopic liver transplant group died shortly after surgery. CONCLUSIONS Orthotopic liver transplants can be performed to achieve high success rates in the extended anhepatic time; however, orthotopic liver transplants from female Sprague-Dawley donor rats have a high risk of failure.

Abstract
Objective: To investigate the clinical type and gene mutations, clinical manifestations, laboratory tests, diagnosis, and fibrinogen replacement therapy of congenital fibrinogen disorders. Methods: Clinical data of 146 patients with congenital fibrinogen disorders diagnosed from April 2000 to November 2020 were retrospectively analyzed. Results: Among the 146 patients, 61 (41.8%) men and 85 (58.2%) women had a median age of 33.5 years at the time of consultation. 34 patients (34.7%) were found to suffer from the disease due to bleeding symptoms, 33 patients (33.7%) due to preoperative examination. 55 patients (56.1%) had at least one bleeding symptom, and 42 patients (42.9%) had no bleeding symptoms. There is a negative correlation between fibrinogen activity concentration and bleeding ISTH-BAT score (rs=-0.412, P=0.001) . A total of 34 gene mutations were detected in 56 patients, of which 84.1% were missense mutations, and 16 new mutations were found. FGA Exon2 and FGG Exon8 mutations accounted for 71.4% of all mutation sites. Patients with afibrinogenemia were younger, with a median age of 2 (1-12) years, an ISTH-BAT score of 4, and patients with dysfibrinogenemia had significantly longer thrombin time (TT) , with a median of 28.5 (19.2-36.6) s. The 1 hour in vivo recovery (IVR) after fibrinogen infusion was (127.19±44.03) %, and the 24 hour IVR was (101.78±43.98) %. In addition to the obvious increase in the concentration of fibrinogen activity, the TT and the prothrombin time (PT) both decreased significantly, and the TT decreased more significantly, with an average decrease of 15.2% compared to the baseline after 24 hours of infusion. Conclusion: Most patients with congenital fibrinogen disorders have mild or no bleeding symptoms. Patients with afibrinogenemia have more severe symptoms. There is a negative correlation between the fibrinogen and the degree of bleeding. Genetic testing is helpful for the diagnosis of disease classification. FIB∶C/FIB∶Ag<0.7 can be used as a basis for clinical diagnosis. The TT can be used as the basis for the diagnosis of dysfibrinogenemia and the effectiveness of fibrinogen infusion.

Abstract
Long non‐coding RNAs (lncRNAs) play critical roles in regulating immune‐associated diseases and chronic inflammatory disorders. Here, we found that lncRNAs involve in the pathogenesis of psoriasis through integrative analysis of RNA‐seq data sets from a psoriasis cohort. Then, lncRNA‐protein‐coding genes (PCGs) co‐expression network analysis demonstrated that lncRNAs extensively interact with IFN‐γ signalling pathway‐associated genes. Further, we validated 3 lncRNAs associate with IFN‐γ signalling pathway activation upon IFN‐γ stimulated in HaCaT cells, and loss of function experiments indicate their functional roles in the activation of inflammatory cytokine genes. Additionally, microRNA target screening analysis showed that lncRNAs may regulate JAK/STAT pathway activity through complete endogenous RNA (ceRNA) mechanism. Further experimental validation of PRKCQ‐AS1/STAT1/miR‐545‐5p regulatory circuitry showed that lncRNAs regulate the expression of JAK/STAT signalling pathway genes through competing for miR‐545‐5p. In summary, our results demonstrated that dysregulation of lncRNA‐JAK/STAT pathway axis promotes the inflammation level in psoriasis and thus provide potential therapeutic targets for psoriasis treatments.

Abstract
PURPOSE Vessel segmentation from volumetric medical images is becoming an essential pre-step in aiding the diagnosis, guiding the therapy, and patient management for vascular-related diseases. Deep learning-based methods have drawn many attentions, but most of them did not fully utilize the multi-scale spatial information of vessels. To address this shortcoming, we propose a multi-scale network similar to the well-known multi-scale DeepMedic. It also includes a double-pathway architecture and a class-balanced loss at the voxel level (MDNet-Vb) to achieve both the computation efficiency and segmentation accuracy. METHODS The proposed network consists two parallel pathways to learn the multi-scale vessel morphology. Specifically, the pathway with a normal resolution uses three-dimensional (3D) U-Net fed with small inputs to learn the local details with relatively small storage and time consumption. The pathway with a low-resolution employs 3D fully convolutional network (FCN) fed with downsampled large inputs to learn the overall spatial relationships between vessels and adjacent tissues, and the morphological information of large vessels. To cope with the class-imbalanced issue in vessel segmentation, we propose a class-balanced loss at the voxel level with uniform sampling strategy. The class-balanced loss at the voxel level re-balances the loss function with a coefficient that is inversely proportional to the normalized effective number at the voxel level of each class. The uniform sampling strategy extracts training data by sampling uniformly from two classes in every epoch. RESULTS Our MDNet-Vb outperforms several state-of-the-art methods including ResNet, DenseNet, 3D U-Net, V-Net, and DeepMedic with the highest dice coefficients of 72.91% and 69.32% on cardiac computed tomography angiography (CTA) dataset and cerebral magnetic resonance angiography (MRA) dataset, respectively. Among four different double-pathway networks, our network (3D U-Net+3D FCN) not only has the fewest training parameters and shortest training time, but also gets competitive dice coefficients on both the CTA and MRA datasets. Compared with classical losses, our class-balanced focal loss (FL-Vb) and dice coefficient loss at the voxel level (Dsc-Vb) alleviates class imbalanced issue by improving both the sensitivity and dice coefficient on the CTA and MRA datasets. Moreover, simultaneously training on two datasets shows that our method has the highest dice coefficient of 73.06% and 65.40% on CTA and MRA datasets, respectively, outperforming the commonly used methods, such as U-Net and DeepMedic, which demonstrates the generalization potential of our network for segmenting different blood vessels. CONCLUSIONS Our MDNet-Vb method demonstrates its superiority over other state-of-the-art methods, on both cardiac CTA and cerebral MRA datasets. For the network architecture, the MDNet-Vb combined the 3D U-Net and 3D FCN, which dramatically reduces the network parameters yet maintains the segmentation accuracy. The class-balanced loss at the voxel level further improves accuracy by properly alleviating the class-imbalanced issue between different classes. In summary, MDNet-Vb is promising for vessel segmentation from various volumetric medical images.

Abstract
We demonstrate a highly powerful acousto-optically Q-switched Nd:YVO4 yellow laser at 589 nm by using a Np-cut KGW crystal and a phase-matching lithium triborate crystal to performance the intracavity stimulated Raman scattering and second-harmonic generation, respectively. We experimentally verify that the design of the separate cavity is superior to the conventional design of the shared cavity. By using the separate cavity, the optical-to-optical efficiency can be generally higher than 32% for the repetition rate within 200-500 kHz. The maximum output power at 589 nm can be up to 15.1 W at an incident pump power of 40 W and a repetition rate of 400 kHz.
