Abstract
This review of reviews examines the role of socioeconomic status (SES) indicators on health inequities among different racial and ethnic groups in the United States (US) between 2019 and 2023. Of the 419 articles, 27 reviews met the inclusion criteria and were aggregated into seven categories: COVID-19 and respiratory pandemic disparities; neighborhoods, gentrification, and food environment; surgical treatments; mental, psychological, and behavioral health; insurance, access to care, and policy impact; cancers; and other topics. The findings revealed a documented impact of SES indicators on racial/ethnic health inequities, with racial/ethnic minority communities, especially Black Americans, consistently showing poor health outcomes associated with lower SES, regardless of the outcome or indicator examined. These findings call attention to the importance of policies and practices that address socioeconomic factors and systemic racial/ethnic inequities affecting the social determinants of health affecting racial/ethnic inequities to improve health outcomes in the US population.

Abstract
Accurate assessment and characterization of the progression and therapy response of prostate cancer are essential for precision healthcare of patients diagnosed with the disease. MRI is a clinical imaging modality routinely used for diagnostic imaging and treatment planning of prostate cancer. Extradomain B fibronectin (EDB-FN) is an oncofetal subtype of fibronectin highly expressed in the extracellular matrix of aggressive cancers, including prostate cancer. It is a promising molecular target for the detection and risk-stratification of prostate cancer with high-resolution MR molecular imaging (MRMI). In this study, we investigated the effectiveness of MRMI with an EDB-FN specific contrast agent MT218 for assessing the progression and therapy resistance of prostate cancer. Low grade LNCaP prostate cancer cells became an invasive phenotype LNCaP-CXCR2 with elevated EDB-FN expression after acquisition of the C-X-C motif chemokine receptor 2 (CXCR2). MT218-MRMI showed brighter signal enhancement in LNCaP-CXCR2 tumor xenografts with a ∼2-fold contrast-to-noise (CNR) increase than in LNCaP tumors in mice. Enzalutamide-resistant C4-2-DR prostate cancer cells were more invasive, with higher EDB-FN expression than parental C4-2 cells. Brighter signal enhancement with a ∼2-fold CNR increase was observed in the C4-2-DR xenografts compared to that of C4-2 tumors in mice with MT218-MRMI. Interestingly, when invasive PC3 prostate cancer cells developed resistance to paclitaxel, the drug-resistant PC3-DR cells became less invasive with reduced EDB-FN expression than the parental PC3 cells. MT218-MRMI detected reduced brightness in the PC3-DR xenografts with more than 2-fold reduction of CNR compared to PC3 tumors in mice. The signal enhancement in all tumors was supported by the immunohistochemical staining of EDB-FN with the G4 monoclonal antibody. The results indicate that MRMI of EDB-FN with MT218 has promise for detection, risk stratification, and monitoring the progression and therapy response of invasive prostate cancer.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Relugolix has been used to treat advanced prostate cancer. This study assessed adverse events (AEs) associated with relugolix from the US Food and Drug Administration Adverse Event Reporting System (FAERS). METHODS Disproportionality analysis, including the reporting odds ratio (ROR), the proportional reporting ratio (PRR), the Bayesian confidence propagation neural network (BCPNN), and the multi-item gamma Poisson shrinker (MGPS) algorithms, were employed to quantify the signals of relugolix-associated AEs. RESULTS A total of 5,059,213 reports of AEs were collected from the FAERS database, of which 5,662 reports were identified with relugolix as the "primary suspect (PS)". A total of 70 significant disproportionality PTs conforming to the four algorithms were simultaneously retained. Unexpected new AEs, such as erectile dysfunction, gynaecomastia, testicular atrophy, male genital atrophy, libido decreased might also occur. CONCLUSION This study found potential new AEs signals and might provide important support for clinical monitoring and risk identification of relugolix.

Abstract
Background Black race has been associated with increased resource utilization after operation for small bowel obstruction (SBO). While prior literature has similarly demonstrated differences between urban and rural institutions, limited work has defined the impact of rurality on resource utilization by race. Methods The 2016-2020 National Inpatient Sample was used to identify adults undergoing adhesiolysis after non-elective admission for SBO. The primary endpoint was hospitalization costs. Additional outcomes included surgical delay (≥ hospital day 3), length of stay (LOS), and nonhome discharge. Regression models were developed to identify the impact of Black race and rurality on the outcomes of interest with an interaction term to examine the incremental association of Black race on rurality. Results Of an estimated 132,390 patients, 11.4 % were treated at an annual average of 377 rural hospitals (18.5 % of institutions). After adjustment, rural hospitals had higher costs (β + $4900, 95 % Confidence Interval [CI] [4200, 5700]), compared to others. However, rurality was associated with reduced odds of surgical delay (Adjusted Odds Ratio [AOR] 0. 76, CI[0.69, 0.85]), decreased LOS (β -1.66 days, CI[-1.99, -1.36]), and nonhome discharge (AOR 0.78, CI[0.70, 0.87]). While White patients experienced significant cost reductions at urban centers ($26,100 [25,800-26,300] vs $31,000 [30,300-31,700]), this was not noted for Black patients ($30,100 [29,400-30,700] vs $30,800 [29,300-32,400]). Conclusions We found that Black patients do not benefit from the same cost protection afforded by urban settings as White patients after operative SBO admission. Future work should focus on setting-specific interventions to address drivers of disparities within each community.

Abstract
PURPOSE Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) has deeply altered the prostate biopsy strategy to detect prostate cancer. However, it is still debatable whether the detection rate differs between transrectal (TR) and transperineal (TP) MRI-targeted biopsy (MRI-TB). To compare the effectiveness of these two methods for detecting both overall prostate cancer (PCa) and clinically significant PCa (csPCa), We performed a review and meta-analysis. METHODS Until January 2023, we conducted a thorough search of Cochrane, Embase, Ovid, and PubMed. In total, 1482 references were identified, and 15 records were finally included. For PCa and csPCa discovered by TP and TR MRI-TB, we combined the relative sensitivity (RR) with 95% confidence intervals (CI). The RR between the TP and TR routes was established. RESULTS Our study included 8826 patients in total and revealed that TP MRI-TB detected more PCa (RR 1.25 [95% CI 1.12, 1.39], p < 0.0001). In patients who underwent TP MRI-TB and TR MRI-TB at the same time or separately, TP MRI-TB had a greater detection rate of csPCa in per-patient analysis (one cohort (RR 1.33 [95% CI 1.09, 1.63], p = 0.005); two cohorts (RR 1.37 [95% CI 1.16, 1.61], p = 0.0002)). However, the detection rate of csPCa between the TP route and the TR route was comparable in per-lesion analysis (RR 0.91 [95% CI 0.76, 1.08], p = 0.28). Additionally, in the prostate's anterior region, we found that TP MRI-TB detected more csPCa (per-lesion (RR 1.52 [95% CI 1.04, 2.23], p = 0.03); per-patient (RR 2.55 [95% CI 1.56, 4.16], p = 0.0002)). CONCLUSION According to this comprehensive study, TP MRI-TB is more effective than TR MRI-TB at detecting PCa and csPCa. Significant results persisted for detecting csPCa located in the anterior zone. The results need to be taken carefully notwithstanding the heterogeneity among the included studies.

Abstract
Stem cells are ubiquitously found in various tissues and organs in the body, and underpin the body's ability to repair itself following injury or disease initiation, though repair can sometimes be compromised. Understanding how stem cells are produced, and functional signaling systems between different niches is critical to understanding the potential use of stem cells in regenerative medicine. In this context, this review considers kynurenine pathway (KP) metabolism in multipotent adult progenitor cells, embryonic, haematopoietic, neural, cancer, cardiac and induced pluripotent stem cells, endothelial progenitor cells, and mesenchymal stromal cells. The KP is the major enzymatic pathway for sequentially catabolising the essential amino acid tryptophan (TRP), resulting in key metabolites including kynurenine, kynurenic acid, and quinolinic acid (QUIN). QUIN metabolism transitions into the adjoining de novo pathway for nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD) production, a critical cofactor in many fundamental cellular biochemical pathways. How stem cells uptake and utilise TRP varies between different species and stem cell types, because of their expression of transporters and responses to inflammatory cytokines. Several KP metabolites are physiologically active, with either beneficial or detrimental outcomes, and evidence of this is presented relating to several stem cell types, which is important as they may exert a significant impact on surrounding differentiated cells, particularly if they metabolise or secrete metabolites differently. Interferon-gamma (IFN-γ) in mesenchymal stromal cells, for instance, highly upregulates rate-limiting enzyme indoleamine-2,3-dioxygenase (IDO-1), initiating TRP depletion and production of metabolites including kynurenine/kynurenic acid, known agonists of the Aryl hydrocarbon receptor (AhR) transcription factor. AhR transcriptionally regulates an immunosuppressive phenotype, making them attractive for regenerative therapy. We also draw attention to important gaps in knowledge for future studies, which will underpin future application for stem cell-based cellular therapies or optimising drugs which can modulate the KP in innate stem cell populations, for disease treatment.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Radical prostatectomy, radiotherapy, chemotherapy, and androgen-deprivation therapy are among the most common treatment options for different forms of prostate cancer (PCa). However, making therapeutic decisions is difficult due to the lack of reliable prediction markers indicating therapy outcomes in clinical practice. The involvement of miRNAs in all mechanisms of the PCa development and their easy detection characterize them as attractive PCa biomarkers. Although there are extensive data on the role of miRNAs in PCa therapy resistance and sensitivity development, the issues of whether they could be used as a guide for therapy choice and, if so, how we can progress toward this goal, remain unclear. Thus, generalizable reviews and studies which summarize, compare, and analyze data on miRNA involvement in responses to different types of PCa therapies are required. OBJECTIVES Data on the involvement of miRNAs in therapy responses, on the role of cross-miRNA expression in different therapies, and on miRNA targets were analyzed in order to determine the miRNA-related factors which can lend perspective to the future development of personalized predictors of PCa sensitivity/resistance to therapies. MATERIALS AND METHODS The data available on the miRNAs associated with different PCa therapies (resistance and sensitivity therapies) are summarized and analyzed in this study, including analyses using bioinformatics resources. Special attention was dedicated to the mechanisms of the development of therapy resistance. RESULTS AND DISCUSSION A comprehensive combined analysis of the current data revealed a panel of miRNAs that were shown to be most closely associated with the PCa therapy response and were found to regulate the genes involved in PCa development via cell proliferation regulation, epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT), apoptosis, cell-cycle progression, angiogenesis, metastasis and invasion regulation, androgen-independent development, and colony formation. CONCLUSION The selected miRNA-based panel has the potential to be a guide for therapeutic decision making in the effective treatment of PCa.

Abstract
OBJECTIVES To compare survival of patients who received LDR prostate brachytherapy relative to that of peers in the general population of England, UK. PATIENTS AND METHODS Net survival was estimated for 2472 cases treated between 2002 and 2016 using population-based analysis guidelines. Life tables adjusted for social deprivation in England from the Office for National Statistics were used to match patients by affluence based on their postcode. RESULTS The median (range) age at time of brachytherapy was 66 (55-84) years, 84% resided in Southeast England, 51% under an index of deprivation quintile 5 (most affluent), 55% were clinical stage T1 and the remainder T2. Death from any cause occurred in 270 patients at a median (range) of 7 (1-17) years postimplant. Five and 10-year estimates (95% CI) of overall survival were 96% (95-97) and 90% (89-92), and net survival 103% (102-104) and 109% (107-110) respectively. The net survival remained above 100% in all age-at-treatment and clinical stage groups. CONCLUSION Net survival above 100% indicates patients survive longer than the matched general population. The study shows for the first time the net survival of patients treated with a radical therapy for localized prostate cancer in England. The impact of treatment choice on the long-term net survival advantage requires further investigation.

Abstract
PURPOSE To assess the diagnostic performance and utility of the ExoDx IntelliScore and an OPKO4K score to predict prostate cancer in men presenting with elevated PSA-both as independent predictors and in combination with clinical/MRI characteristics. METHODS Patients with elevated PSA were retrospectively reviewed. Abnormal tests were defined as an OPKO4K score ≥ 7.5% and an ExoDx IntelliScore ≥ 15.6. Four regression models and ROC curves were generated based on: (1) age, PSA, and DRE, (2) model 1 + OPKO4K 4Kscore ≥ 7.5%, (3) model 2 + ExoDx IntelliScore ≥ 15.6, and (4) model 3 + MRI PIRADS 4-5. RESULTS 359 men received an OPKO4K test, 307 had MRI and 113 had ExoDx tests. 163 men proceeded to prostate biopsy and 196 (55%) were saved from biopsy. Mean age was 65.0 ± 8.7 years and mean PSA was 7.1 ± 6.1 ng/mL. Positive biopsies were found in 84 (51.5%) men. The sensitivity and negative predictive value of an OPKO4K score were 86.7% and 72.3%; values for an ExoDx test were 76.5% and 77.1%, respectively. On regression analysis, clinical markers (Age, PSA, DRE) generated an AUC of 0.559. The addition of an OPKO4K score raised the AUC to 0.653. The stepwise addition of an ExoDx score raised the AUC to 0.766. The combined use of both biomarkers, patient characteristics, and MRI yielded an AUC of 0.825. CONCLUSION This analysis demonstrates the high negative predictive value of both the OPKO4K score and ExoDX IntelliScore independently while demonstrating that the combination of an OPKO4K score, an ExoDX IntelliScore, and MRI increases predictive capability for biopsy confirmed prostate cancer.

Abstract
PURPOSE Docetaxel (DXL), a noted radiosensitizer, is one of the few chemotherapy drugs approved for castration-resistant prostate cancer (CRPC), though only a fraction of CRPCs respond to it. CAV-1, a critical regulator of radioresistance, has been known to modulate DXL and radiation effects. Combining DXL with radiotherapy may create a synergistic anticancer effect through CAV-1 and improve CRPC patients' response to therapy. Here, we investigate the effectiveness and molecular characteristics of DXL and radiation combination therapy in vitro. MATERIALS AND METHODS We used live/dead assays to determine the IC50 of DXL for PC3, DU-145, and TRAMP-C1 cells. Colony formation assay was used to determine the radioresponse of the same cells treated with radiation with/without IC50 DXL (4, 8, and 12 Gy). We performed gene expression analysis on public transcriptomic data collected from human-derived prostate cancer cell lines (C4-2, PC3, DU-145, and LNCaP) treated with DXL for 8, 16, and 72 hours. Cell cycle arrest and protein expression were assessed using flow cytometry and western blot, respectively. RESULTS Compared to radiation alone, combination therapy with DXL significantly increased CRPC death in PC3 (1.48-fold, p < .0001), DU-145 (1.64-fold, p < .05), and TRAMP-C1 (1.13-fold, p < .05) at 4 Gy of radiation. Gene expression of CRPC treated with DXL revealed downregulated genes related to cell cycle regulation and upregulated genes related to immune activation and oxidative stress. Confirming the results, G2/M cell cycle arrest was significantly increased after treatment with DXL and radiation. CAV-1 protein expression was decreased after DXL treatment in a dose-dependent manner; furthermore, CAV-1 copy number was strongly associated with poor response to therapy in CRPC patients. CONCLUSIONS Our results suggest that DXL sensitizes CRPC cells to radiation by downregulating CAV-1. DXL + radiation combination therapy may be effective at treating CRPC, especially subtypes associated with high CAV-1 expression, and should be studied further.

Abstract
Radiotheranostics refers to the pairing of radioactive imaging biomarkers with radioactive therapeutic compounds that deliver ionizing radiation. Given the introduction of very promising radiopharmaceuticals, the radiotheranostics approach is creating a novel paradigm in personalized, targeted radionuclide therapies (TRTs), also known as radiopharmaceuticals (RPTs). Radiotherapeutic pairs targeting somatostatin receptors (SSTR) and prostate-specific membrane antigens (PSMA) are increasingly being used to diagnose and treat patients with metastatic neuroendocrine tumors (NETs) and prostate cancer. In parallel, radiomics and artificial intelligence (AI), as important areas in quantitative image analysis, are paving the way for significantly enhanced workflows in diagnostic and theranostic fields, from data and image processing to clinical decision support, improving patient selection, personalized treatment strategies, response prediction, and prognostication. Furthermore, AI has the potential for tremendous effectiveness in patient dosimetry which copes with complex and time-consuming tasks in the RPT workflow. The present work provides a comprehensive overview of radiomics and AI application in radiotheranostics, focusing on pairs of SSTR- or PSMA-targeting radioligands, describing the fundamental concepts and specific imaging/treatment features. Our review includes ligands radiolabeled by 68Ga, 18F, 177Lu, 64Cu, 90Y, and 225Ac. Specifically, contributions via radiomics and AI towards improved image acquisition, reconstruction, treatment response, segmentation, restaging, lesion classification, dose prediction, and estimation as well as ongoing developments and future directions are discussed.

Abstract
PURPOSE Low-income prostate cancer survivors, who typically have worse outcomes and greater all-cause mortality, often have poor health-promoting behaviors. Our objective was to assess perceived facilitators of and barriers to healthy behavior change by interviewing low-income men with prostate cancer who received no-cost treatment through a state-funded program. METHODS Between September 2021 and April 2022, we conducted semi-structured interviews with 19 men (ages 60-75). Purposive sampling was utilized from participants of a cohort of men with prostate cancer from low-income backgrounds. Interviews were recorded, transcribed, and then coded by the authors to generate salient themes via thematic analysis. RESULTS We found internal characteristics and structural characteristics that functioned independently and in concert to promote and/or hinder healthy behavior change. Internal characteristics such as motivations (prostate cancer diagnosis, self-perceptions, support system, and preferences) and determination, defined as level of motivation, drove behavior actualization. Structural characteristics that influenced behavior change included resources (access to food and opportunities for exercise) and social support. CONCLUSIONS These outcomes suggest that motivation and determination can serve as protective facilitators encouraging healthy behaviors despite structural barriers low-income prostate cancer survivors may face. However, motivations challenged by financial constraints were not sufficient to guide healthy behavior change. With this in mind, we recommend that interventions promoting healthy behavior change among this population should focus on identifying and strengthening internal assets such as motivations, self-perceptions, preferences, and support systems.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE For the purposes of patients' consultation, condition assessments, and guidance for clinicians' choices, we developed a prognostic predictive model to evaluate the 1-, 3-, and 5-year overall survival (OS) rates of bone-metastatic prostate cancer (PCa) patients. METHODS We gathered data from 5522 patients with bone metastatic PCa registered in the Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results (SEER) database to develop a nomogram. A total of 359 bone metastatic PCas were collected from 2 hospitals to validate the nomogram and assess its discriminatory ability. In addition, we plotted the actual survival against the predicted risk to assess the calibration accuracy. Moreover, we designed a web calculator to quickly obtain accurate survival probability outcomes. RESULTS Univariate and multivariate Cox hazard regression analyses suggested that age, marital status, prostate-specific antigen (PSA) level, Gleason score, clinical T stage, N stage, surgery, and chemotherapy were closely associated with OS rates. The calibration charts of the training and validation groups showed a high accuracy and reliability. The decision curve analysis (DCA) suggested a favorable clinical net benefit. CONCLUSION Based on demography and clinical pathology, we developed a reliable nomogram to help clinicians more accurately predict the 1-, 3-, and 5-year OS rates of patients with bone metastatic PCa to guide evaluation and treatment.

Abstract
Upstream-stimulating factor 1 (USF1) is a ubiquitously expressed transcription factor implicated in multiple cellular processes, including metabolism and proliferation. This study focused on the function of USF1 in glycolysis and the malignant development of prostate adenocarcinoma (PRAD). Bioinformatics predictions suggested that USF1 is poorly expressed in PRAD. The clinical PRAD samples revealed a low level of USF1, which was correlated with an unfavorable prognosis. Artificial upregulation of USF1 significantly repressed glycolytic activity in PRAD cells and reduced cell growth and metastasis in vitro and in vivo. Potential downstream genes of USF1 were probed by integrated bioinformatics analyses. The chromatin immunoprecipitation and luciferase assays indicated that USF1 bound to the α-ketoglutarate-dependent dioxygenase alkB homolog 5 (ALKBH5) promoter for transcription activation. Flightless I (FLII) was identified as the gene showing the highest degree of correlation with ALKBH5. As an m6A demethylase, ALKBH5 enhanced FLII mRNA stability by inducing m6A demethylation in an m6A-YTH N6-methyladenosine RNA-binding protein F2 (YTHDF2)-dependent manner. Either silencing of ALKBH5 or FLII blocked the role of USF1 in PARD cells and restored glycolysis, cell proliferation, and invasion. This study demonstrates that USF1 activates ALKBH5 to stabilize FLII mRNA in an m6A-YTHDF2-dependent manner, thereby repressing glycolysis processes and the progression of PRAD.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Survival trends help to evaluate the progress made to reduce the burden of cancer. The aim was to estimate the trends in 5-year relative survival of patients diagnosed with breast, prostate, lung, colorectal cancer and skin melanoma in the time periods 1980-1989, 1990-1999, 2000-2009 and 2010-2015 in the Canton of Zurich, Switzerland. Furthermore, we investigated relative survival differences by TNM stage and age group. METHODS Data from the Cancer Registry of Zurich was used from 1980 to and including 2015, including incident cases of breast (N = 26,060), prostate (N= 23,858), colorectal (N= 19,305), lung cancer (N= 16,858) and skin melanoma (N= 9780) with follow-up until 31 December 2020. The cohort approach was used to estimate 5-year relative survival. RESULTS The 5-year relative survival increased significantly between 1980 and 1989, and 2010 and2015: from 0.70 to 0.89 for breast, from 0.60 to 0.92 for prostate, from 0.09 to 0.23 (men) and from 0.10 to 0.27 (women) for lung, from 0.46 to 0.66 (men) and from 0.48 to 0.68 (women) for colorectal cancer, and from 0.74 to 0.94 (men) and from 0.86 to 0.96 (women) for skin melanoma. Survival for stage IV tumors was considerably lower compared to lower-staged tumors for all cancer types. Furthermore, relative survival was similar for the age groups <80 years but lower for patients aged 80 years and older. CONCLUSION The observed increasing trends in survival are encouraging and likely reflect raised awareness around cancer, improved diagnostic methods, and improved treatments. The fact that stage I tumor patients have generally high relative survival reflects the efforts made regarding early detection.

Abstract
Prostate-specific membrane antigen (PSMA) is a highly expressed protein in prostate cancer (PCa) and has become an increasingly popular target for molecular imaging in recent years. PSMA based positron-emission-tomography/computed tomography (PET/CT) is a well characterised hybrid imaging modality that combines the high sensitivity of PET with the high spatial resolution of CT imaging. The combination of these two imaging modalities provides an accurate tool for detecting and managing PCa. Several diagnostic accuracy and clinical management studies investigating the role of PSMA PET/CT in PCa have been published recently. This study aimed to perform an updated systematic review and meta-analysis to evaluate the diagnostic performance of PSMA PET/CT in localised, lymph node metastatic (LNM) and recurrent PCa patients and assess its impact on the clinical management of primary and recurrent PCa. Using Medline, Embase, PubMed and Cochrane Library databases, studies reporting the diagnostic accuracy and clinical management of PSMA PET/CT were analysed based on the PRISMA guidelines. Statistical analyses were conducted using random-effects models, and meta-regression explored observed heterogeneity. Results indicate that the sensitivity and specificity of PSMA PET/CT for localised PCa were 71.0% (95% confidence interval (CI): 58.0, 81.0) and 92.0% (95% CI: 86.0, 96.0), respectively (N = 10; n = 404 patients). Sensitivity and specificity in LNM were 57.0% (95% CI: 49.0, 64.0) and 96.0% (95% CI: 95.0, 97.0) (N = 36; n = 3,659 patients). For patients with biochemical recurrence (BCR), sensitivity was 84.0% (95% CI: 74.0, 90.0), and specificity was 97.0% (95% CI: 88.0, 99.0) (N = 9; n = 818 patients). The pooled proportion of management changes in primary (N = 16; n = 1,099 patients) and recurrent (N = 40; n = 5,398 patients) PCa was 28.0% (95% CI: 23.0, 34.0) and 54.0% (95% CI: 50.0, 58.0), respectively. In conclusion, PSMA PET/CT shows moderate sensitivity and high specificity in localised and LNM disease, while the accuracy in BCR patients was high. PSMA PET/CT also had a large impact on the clinical management of PCa patients. This is the most extensive and first systematic review to include three subgroups of PCa with histologically verified diagnostic accuracy and clinical management change reported separately in primary and recurrent disease settings.

Abstract
PURPOSE Prostate cancer (PC) is the second leading cause of cancer and the fifth cause of cancer-related death. This manuscript aims to determine the incidence, mortality, and Disability Adjusted Life Years (DALYs) trends of PC in the last 30 years in Latin America and Mexico. METHODS We performed a cross-sectional analysis of a publicly available data set. Data regarding the burden of prostate cancer in 20 Latin-American countries, and the 32 states of Mexico, were retrieved from the Global Burden of Disease Study 2019. Collected information included incidence and mortality rates (per 100,000), as well as the DALYs as absolute numbers and rates (per 100,000) and the annual rates of change in rates from 1990 to 2019. RESULTS In Latin America in males aged 55 years or older, the mean incidence rate was 344 cases per 100,000. The number of deaths attributable to prostate cancer observed was 67,110 and the mean mortality rate was 210 per 100,000. The overall burden of disease was 1,120,709 DALYs and the contribution of years of life lost (YLL) was 91.7% ([Formula: see text] = 1,027,946). Mexico presented an incidence rate (279.6) and mortality (99.1) rate (per /100 thousand). In Mexico, 13 states had a DALYs' rate above the national mean (883 per 100,000) and the highest burden (1360 DALYs/100,000) were documented in the state of Guerrero (Southwestern Mexico). CONCLUSION Only two Latin-American countries (Brazil and Colombia) and eight states of Mexico showed a decreased trend about the rate of change of DALYs in the last 30 years.

Abstract
The prevalence of obesity has reached pandemic levels worldwide, leading to a lower quality of life and higher health costs. Obesity is a major risk factor for noncommunicable diseases, including cancer, although obesity is one of the major preventable causes of cancer. Lifestyle factors, such as dietary quality and patterns, are also closely related to the onset and development of obesity and cancer. However, the mechanisms underlying the complex association between diet, obesity, and cancer remain unclear. In the past few decades, microRNAs (miRNAs), a class of small non-coding RNAs, have been demonstrated to play critical roles in biological processes such as cell differentiation, proliferation, and metabolism, highlighting their importance in disease development and suppression and as therapeutic targets. miRNA expression levels can be modulated by diet and are involved in cancer and obesity-related diseases. Circulating miRNAs can also mediate cell-to-cell communications. These multiple aspects of miRNAs present challenges in understanding and integrating their mechanism of action. Here, we introduce a general consideration of the associations between diet, obesity, and cancer and review the current knowledge of the molecular functions of miRNA in each context. A comprehensive understanding of the interplay between diet, obesity, and cancer could be valuable for the development of effective preventive and therapeutic strategies in future.

Abstract
Prostate cancer (PCa) is one of the two solid malignancies in which a higher T cell infiltration in the tumor microenvironment (TME) corresponds with a worse prognosis for the tumor. The inability of T cells to eliminate tumor cells despite an increase in their number reinforces the possibility of impaired antigen presentation. In this study, we investigated the TME at single-cell resolution to understand the molecular function and communication of dendritic cells (DCs) (as professional antigen-presenting cells). According to our data, tumor cells stimulate the migration of immature DCs to the tumor site by inducing inflammatory chemokines. Many signaling pathways such as TNF-α/NF-κB, IL2/STAT5, and E2F up-regulated after DCs enter the tumor location. In addition, some molecules such as GPR34 and SLCO2B1 decreased on the surface of DCs. The analysis of molecular and signaling alterations in DCs revealed some suppression mechanisms of tumors, such as removing mature DCs, reducing the DC's survival, inducing anergy or exhaustion in the effector T cells, and enhancing the differentiation of T cells to Th2 and Tregs. In addition, we investigated the cellular and molecular communication between DCs and macrophages in the tumor site and found three molecular pairs including CCR5/CCL5, CD52/SIGLEC10, and HLA-DPB1/TNFSF13B. These molecular pairs are involved in the migration of immature DCs to the TME and disrupt the antigen-presenting function of DCs. Furthermore, we presented new therapeutic targets by the construction of a gene co-expression network. These data increase our knowledge of the heterogeneity and the role of DCs in PCa TME.

Race/Ethnicity may be an Important Predictor of Life Expectancy in Localized Prostate Cancer Patients: Novel Analyses Using Social Security Administration Life Tables. Abstract
PURPOSE To test the effect of race/ethnicity on Social Security Administration (SSA) life tables' life expectancy (LE) predictions in localized prostate cancer (PCa) patients treated with either radical prostatectomy (RP) or external beam radiotherapy (EBRT). We hypothesized that LE will be affected by race/ethnicity. PATIENTS AND METHODS We relied on the 2004-2006 Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results database to identify D'Amico intermediate- and high-risk PCa patients treated with either RP or EBRT. SSA life tables were used to compute 10-year LE predictions and were compared to OS. Stratification was performed according to treatment type (RP/EBRT) and race/ethnicity (non-Hispanic White, non-Hispanic Black, Hispanic/Latino, and Asian). RESULTS Of 55,383 assessable patients, 40,490 were non-Hispanic White (RP 49.3% vs. EBRT 50.7%), 7194 non-Hispanic Black (RP 41.3% vs. EBRT 50.7%), 4716 Hispanic/Latino (RP 51.0% vs. EBRT 49.0%) and 2983 were Asian (RP 41.6% vs. EBRT 58.4%). In both RP and EBRT patients, OS exceeded life tables' LE predictions, except for non-Hispanic Blacks. However, in RP patients, the magnitude of the difference was greater than in EBRT. Moreover, in RP patients, OS of non-Hispanic Blacks virtually perfectly followed predicted LE. Conversely, in EBRT patients, the OS of non-Hispanic Black patients was worse than predicted LE. CONCLUSIONS When comparing SEER-derived observed OS with SSA life table-derived predicted life expectancy, we recorded a survival disadvantage in non-Hispanic Black RP and EBRT patients, which was not the case in the three other races/ethnicities (non-Hispanic Whites, Hispanic/Latinos, and Asians). This discrepancy should ideally be confirmed within different registries, countries, and tumor entities. Furthermore, the source of these discrepant survival outcomes should be investigated and addressed by health care politics.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Racial segregation is linked to poorer neighborhood quality and adverse health conditions among minorities, including worse cancer outcomes. We evaluated relationships between race, neighborhood social disadvantage, and cancer survival. METHODS We calculated overall and cancer-specific survival for 11,367 non-Hispanic Black (NHB) and 29,481 non-Hispanic White (NHW) individuals with breast, colorectal, lung, or prostate cancer using data from the Metropolitan Detroit Cancer Surveillance System. The area deprivation index (ADI) was used to measure social disadvantage at the census block group level, where higher ADI is associated with poorer neighborhood factors. Associations between ADI and survival were estimated using Cox proportional hazards mixed-effects models accounting for geographic grouping and adjusting for demographic and clinical factors. RESULTS Increasing ADI quintile was associated with increased overall mortality for all four cancer sites in multivariable-adjusted models. Stratified by race, these associations remained among breast (NHW: HR = 1.16, P < 0.0001; NHB: HR = 1.20, P < 0.0001), colorectal (NHW: HR = 1.11, P < 0.0001; NHB: HR = 1.09, P = 0.00378), prostate (NHW: HR = 1.18, P < 0.0001; NHB: HR = 1.18, P < 0.0001), and lung cancers (NHW: HR = 1.06, P < 0.0001; NHB: HR = 1.07, P = 0.00177). Cancer-specific mortality estimates were similar to overall mortality. Adjustment for ADI substantially attenuated the effects of race on mortality for breast [overall proportion attenuated (OPA) = 47%, P < 0.0001; cancer-specific proportion attenuated (CSPA) = 37%, P < 0.0001] prostate cancer (OPA = 51%, P < 0.0001; CSPA = 56%, P < 0.0001), and colorectal cancer (OPA = 69%, P = 0.032; CSPA = 36%, P = 0.018). CONCLUSIONS Area-level socioeconomic disadvantage is related to cancer mortality in a racially diverse population, impacting racial differences in cancer mortality. IMPACT Understanding the role of neighborhood quality in cancer survivorship could improve community-based intervention practices.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Enzalutamide is effective against castration-resistant prostate cancer (CRPC). However, it is unclear which patients would benefit more from enzalutamide treatment. Here, we analyzed patients who received enzalutamide as first-line therapy for CRPC and evaluated the factors that predict treatment response and prognosis. METHODS We retrospectively analyzed 101 patients treated with enzalutamide for CRPC at our institution. As primary endpoints we regarded the prostate-specific antigen (PSA) response rate and PSA-progression-free survival (PSA-PFS) from the start of enzalutamide treatment. Laboratory and imaging data were analyzed to predict treatment efficacy. RESULTS PSA reductions of ≥ 50% and ≥ 90% were observed in 78 (77%) and 47 (47%) patients, respectively, compared with the baseline. During the follow-up period, 67 (66%) patients showed PSA progression, with a median PSA-PFS of 11 months. Moreover, 31 patients (31%) died, with a median overall survival of 64 months. On multivariate analysis, lymph node metastases at the start of enzalutamide treatment [odds ratio (OR) 0.0575, 95% confidence interval (CI) 0.0105-0.316, p = 0.0010] and time to CRPC (OR 0.177, 95% CI 0.0428-0.731, p = 0.0167] were associated with ≥ 90% PSA response. Lymph node metastases (hazard ratio [HR] 3.00, 95% CI 1.48-6.09, p = 0.0023) and time to CRPC (HR 1.84, 95% CI 1.02-3.30, p = 0.0419) were also predictors of PSA-PFS on a multivariate model. CONCLUSIONS Time to CRPC and lymph node metastasis were predictors of the PSA response rate and PSA-PFS.

Abstract
Background Few studies have assessed the impact of race on short-term patient outcomes in the brain metastasis population. The goal of this study is to evaluate the association of race with inpatient clinical presentation, treatment, in-hospital complications, and in-hospital mortality rates for patients with brain metastases (BM). Method Using data collected from the National Inpatient Sample between 2004 and 2014, we retrospectively identified adult patients with a primary diagnosis of BM. Outcomes included nonroutine discharge, prolonged length of stay (pLOS), in-hospital complications, and mortality. Results Minority (Black, Hispanic/other) patients were less likely to receive surgical intervention compared to White patients (odds ratio [OR] 0.70; 95% confidence interval [CI] 0.66-0.74, p < 0.001; OR 0.88; 95% CI 0.84-0.93, p < 0.001). Black patients were more likely to develop an in-hospital complication than White patients (OR 1.35, 95% CI 1.28-1.41, p < 0.001). Additionally, minority patients were more likely to experience pLOS than White patients (OR 1.48; 95% CI 1.41-1.57, p < 0.001; OR 1.34; 95% CI 1.27-1.42, p < 0.001). Black patients were more likely to experience a nonroutine discharge (OR 1.25; 95% CI 1.19-1.31, p < 0.001) and higher in-hospital mortality than White (OR 1.13; 95% CI 1.03-1.23, p = 0.008). Conclusion Our analysis demonstrated that race is associated with disparate short-term outcomes in patients with BM. More efforts are needed to address these disparities, provide equitable care, and allow for similar outcomes regardless of care.

Abstract
PURPOSE To explore the value of 3-dimensional amide proton transfer-weighted (APTw) and intravoxel incoherent motion (IVIM) imaging in predicting bone metastasis (BM) of prostate cancer (PCa) in addition to routine diffusion-weighted imaging (DWI). METHODS The clinical and imaging data of 39 PCa patients who were pathologically confirmed in our hospital from March 2019 to February 2022 were retrospectively analyzed, and they were divided into BM-negative (27 patients) and BM-positive (12 patients) groups. MR examination included APTw, DWI and IVIM imaging. The IVIM data was fitted by single-exponential IVIM model (IVIMmono) and double-exponential IVIM model (IVIMbi), respectively. The APTw, ADC, IVIMmono (Dmono, D*mono, and fmono), and IVIMbi (Dbi, D*bi, and fbi) parameters were independently measured by two radiologists. The synthetic minority oversampling technique (SMOTE) was conducted to balance the minority group. Mann-Whitney U test or Student's t-test was used to compare above values between the BM-negative and BM-positive groups. The diagnostic performance was evaluated with receiver operating characteristic (ROC) analysis of each parameter and their combination. The Delong test was used for ROC curve comparison.The relationship between APTw and IVIM was explored through Spearman's rank correlation analysis. RESULTS The APTw and D*mono values were higher, and the ADC, fmono, and fbi values were lower in the BM-positive group than in the BM-negative group (all P < 0.05). Among the individual parameters, the AUC of fmono was the highest (AUC = 0.865), and AUC (fmono) was significantly higher than AUC (fbi), AUC (D*mono), and AUC (ADC) (all P < 0.05). The AUC (IVIMmono) was higher than the AUC (IVIMbi) (P = 0.0068). The combination of APTw and IVIMmono further improved diagnostic capability, and the AUC of APTw+IVIMmono was significantly higher than those of APTw and DWI (all P < 0.05). No correlation was found between IVIM-derived parameters and APTw value. CONCLUSION Both 3D APTw and IVIM imaging could predict BM of PCa. IVIM showed better performance than APTw and DWI, and the single-exponential IVIM model was superior to the double-exponential IVIM model. The combination of APTw and IVIM could further improve diagnostic performance.

Abstract
Prostate cancer (PCa) is the most common cancer in men. The androgen receptor (AR) has a pivotal role in the pathogenesis and progression of PCa. Many therapies targeting AR signaling have been developed over the years. AR signaling inhibitors (ARSIs), including androgen synthesis inhibitors and AR antagonists, have proven to be effective in castration-sensitive PCa (CSPC) and improve survival, but men with castration-resistant PCa (CRPC) continue to have a poor prognosis. Despite a good initial response, drug resistance develops in almost all patients with metastatic CRPC, and ARSIs are no longer effective. Several mechanisms confer resistance to ARSI and include AR mutations but also hyperactivation of other pathways, such as PI3K/AKT/mTOR. This pathway controls key cellular processes, including proliferation and tumor progression, and it is the most frequently deregulated pathway in human cancers. A significant interaction between AR and the PI3K/AKT/mTOR signaling pathway has been shown in PCa. This review centers on the current scene of different AR and PI3K signaling pathway inhibitors, either as monotherapy or in combination treatments in PCa, and the treatment outcomes involved in both preclinical and clinical trials. A PubMed-based literature search was conducted up to November 2022. The most relevant and recent articles were selected to provide essential information and current evidence on the crosstalk between AR and the PI3K signaling pathways. The ClinicalTrials.gov registry was used to report information about clinical studies and their results using the Advanced research tool, filtering for disease and target.

Abstract
Prostate cancer (PC) is identified as a heterogeneous disease. About 20 to 30% of PC patients experience cancer recurrence, characterized by an increase in the antigen termed serum prostate-specific antigen (PSA). Clinical recurrence of PC commonly occurs after five years. Metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (mCRPC) has an intricate genomic background. Therapies that target genomic changes in DNA repair signaling pathways have been progressively approved in the clinic. Innovative therapies like targeting signaling pathways, bone niche, immune checkpoint, and epigenetic marks have been gaining promising results for better management of PC cases with bone metastasis. This review article summarizes the recent consideration of the molecular mechanisms and signaling pathways involved in local and metastatic prostate cancer, highlighting the clinical insinuations of the novel understanding.

Abstract
Relugolix, the first orally active, nonpeptide gonadotropin-releasing hormone receptor antagonist, is approved in the United States and the European Union for the treatment of adult patients with advanced prostate cancer. The recommended dosing regimen is a 360-mg loading dose followed by a 120-mg daily dose. Relugolix and testosterone concentration data and clinical information from two phase I studies, two phase II studies, and the phase III safety and efficacy study (HERO) were used to develop a population pharmacokinetic (PopPK) model and a semimechanistic population pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic (PopPK/PD) model that characterized relugolix exposure and its relationship to testosterone concentrations. Age, body weight, and Black/African American race had at most minimal effects on relugolix exposure or testosterone concentrations with no clinical relevance. Simulations using the PopPK/PD model confirmed the recommended dosing regimen of relugolix, with the median simulated testosterone concentrations predicted to achieve castration levels (< 50 ng/dL) and profound castration levels (< 20 ng/dL) by day 2 and day 9, respectively, and demonstrated that 97.3% and 85.5% of the patients remained at castration levels (< 50 ng/dL) upon temporary interruption of treatment for 7 days and 14 days, respectively. Collectively, simulations based on the PopPK and PopPK/PD models were consistent with actual data from clinical studies, reflecting the high predictiveness of the models and supporting the reliability of model-based simulations. These models can be used to provide guidance regarding dosing recommendations under various circumstances (e.g., temporary interruption of treatment, if needed) for relugolix.

Abstract
Introduction Observational studies have reported a relationship between iron status and the risk of prostate cancer. However, it remains uncertain whether the association is causal or due to confounding or reverse causality. To further clarify the underlying causal relationship, we conducted a Mendelian randomization (MR) analysis. Methods We selected three genetic variants (rs1800562, rs1799945, and rs855791) closely correlated with four iron status biomarkers (serum iron, log-transformed ferritin, transferrin saturation, and transferrin) as instrumental variables. Summary statistics for prostate cancer were obtained from the Prostate Cancer Association Group to Investigate Cancer Associated Alterations in the Genome consortium including 79,148 cases and 61,106 controls of European ancestry. The inverse-variance weighted (IVW) method was conducted primarily to estimate the association of genetically predicted iron status and the risk of prostate cancer, supplemented with simple-median, weighted-median and maximum-likelihood methods as sensitivity analysis. MR-Egger regression was used to detect directional pleiotropy. We also conducted a meta-analysis of observational studies to assess the associations between iron status and the risk of prostate cancer. Results Genetically predicted increased iron status was associated with the decreased risk of prostate cancer, with odds ratio of 0.91 [95% confidence interval (CI): 0.84, 0.99; P = 0.035] for serum iron, 0.81 (95% CI: 0.65, 1.00; P = 0.046) for log- transformed ferritin, 0.94 (95% CI: 0.88, 0.99; P = 0.029) for transferrin saturation, and 1.15 (95% CI: 0.98, 1.35; P = 0.084) for transferrin (with higher transferrin levels representing lower systemic iron status), using the inverse-variance weighted method. Sensitivity analyses produced consistent associations, and MR-Egger regression indicated no potential pleiotropy. Our replication analysis based on FinnGen research project showed compatible results with our main analysis. Results from our meta-analysis similarly showed that serum ferritin [standardized mean difference (SMD): -1.25; 95% CI: -2.34, -0.16; P = 0.024] and transferrin saturation (SMD: -1.19; 95% CI: -2.34, -0.05; P = 0.042) were lower in patients with prostate cancer compared with that in controls. Discussion Our study suggests a protective role of iron in the risk of prostate cancer, further investigations are required to clarify the underlying mechanisms.

Abstract
Purpose This study aimed to identify independent prognosis-associated factors of bone-metastatic prostate cancer. The nomograms were further developed to obtain indicators for the prognostic evaluation. Methods A total of 7315 bone-metastatic prostate cancer (PCa) patients from 2010 to 2016 were retrospectively collected from the Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results (SEER) database. Patients were randomly divided into the training cohort (n=5,120) and test cohort (n=2,195) in a ratio of 7:3. Univariate and multivariate Cox regression models were applied to evaluate potential risk factors. A 1:1 propensity score matching (PSM) was further performed to decrease the confounding effect and re-evaluate the influence of radical prostatectomy and chemotherapy on prognosis. Combining these potential prognosis factors, the nomograms of cancer-specific survival (CSS) and overall survival (OS) at different times were established. C-indexes, calibration curves, and decision curves were developed to evaluate the discrimination, calibration, and clinical benefit of the nomograms. Results Eleven independent prognosis factors for CSS and twelve for OS were utilized to conduct the nomograms respectively. The C-indexes of nomograms for CSS and OS were 0.712 and 0.702, respectively. A favorable consistency between the predicted and actual survival probabilities was demonstrated by adopting calibration curves. Decision curves also exhibited a positive clinical benefit of the nomograms. Conclusions Nomograms were formulated successfully to predict 3-year and 5-year CSS and OS for bone-metastatic PCa patients. Radical prostatectomy and chemotherapy were strongly associated with the bone-metastatic PCa prognosis.

Objective To investigate the prognostic value of local therapy (LT) in cN1M0 prostate cancer (PCa). Methods Patients diagnosed with cN1M0 PCa were extracted from the surveillance, epidemiology, and end results (SEER) database. Kaplan-Meier (KM) curve was used to compare the survival outcomes between patients treated with and without LT. Further, among patients receiving LT, KM analysis was also applied to investigate the survival differences in patients with radical prostatectomy (RP) and radiation therapy (RT). Propensity score matching (PSM) analysis was performed to balance the basic characteristics of patients in each group and make it comparable when exploring the survival impact of different treatment types. Finally, uni- and multivariable Cox proportional-hazards models were utilized to identify independent prognostic factors associated with overall survival (OS) and cancer-specific survival (CSS) in this population. Results Patients treated with LT had significantly better OS (P<0.0001) and CSS (P<0.0001) than those without LT, as well as in most subgroups, except for non-White patients, or those with ISUP grade group 1 or T3 stage. Notably, patients receiving RP also had significantly better OS (P=0.00012) and CSS (P=0.0045) than those treated with RT alone, especially in those aged ≥75 years old, prostate-specific antigen (PSA) 10-20 ng/mL, ISUP grade 1-3 or non-white patients. Finally, clinical T stage, ISUP grade group and the administration of LT were identified to be independent prognostic factors for OS and CSS among cN1M0 PCa patients. Conclusion The cN1M0 PCa patients treated with LT were associated with significantly better survival. Among patients receiving LT, the combination of RP and PLND could lead to a better prognosis compared to RT alone in most subgroups. An individualized treatment strategy is warranted to be developed after weighing the benefits and risks of treatment.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE The aim of this study was to evaluate the prognostic impact of concomitant prostate cancer (PCa) of the cancer-specific mortality (CSM) in the aging patient's papulation with bladder cancer (BCa) treated with radical cystoprostatectomy (RCP). MATERIALS AND METHODS Within the SEER database (2004-2015), 1468 patients were treated with RCP for BCa harboring histopathological PCa findings. To account for other cause mortality (OCM), multivariable competing risk regression (CRR) tested for potential BCa-CSM differences according to PCa characteristics risk factors predicting CSM. RESULTS CRR analysis revealed that only following BCa characteristics, as high pathological tumor stages(Ta/Tis/T1 [REF.] vs. T2; HR 2.03, 95% CI: 1.16-3.57, p = 0.014 vs. T3; HR 4.32, 95% CI: 2.45-7.61, p < 0.001 vs. T4; HR 5.06, 95% CI: 2.77-9.22, p < 0.001), as well unfavorable BCa grade IV (Grade I-II [REF.] vs. Grade IV; HR 0.58, 95% CI: 0.35-0.98, p < 0.041) achieved independent predictor status of CSM. With regard to PCa characteristics, none of the covariates yielded independent predictor status of CSM. CONCLUSIONS Our study, based on the largest population cohort, demonstrates that even in organ-confined BCa patients, concomitant PCa as second malignancy does not represent a risk factor for survival.

Abstract
Objective To assess differences in the distribution of type and number of D'Amico high-risk criteria (DHRCs) according to race/ethnicity (R/E) and their effect on cancer-specific mortality (CSM) in prostate cancer (PCa) patients treated with external beam radiotherapy (RT). Methods In the SEER database (2004-2016), we identified 31,002 PCa patients treated with RT with at least one DHRCs, namely PSA >20 ng/dL, biopsy Gleason Grade Group 4-5, and clinical T stage ≥T2c. Competing risks regression (CRR) model tested the association between DHRCs and 5-year CSM in all R/E subgroups. Results Of 31,002 patients, 20,894 (67%) were Caucasian, 5256 (17%) were African American, 2868 (9.3%) were Hispanic-Latino, and 1984 (6.4%) were Asian. The distributions of individual DHRCs and combinations of two DHRCs differed according to R/E, but not for the combination of three DHRCs. The effect related to the presence of a single DHRC, and combinations of two or three DHRCs on absolute CSM rates was lowest in Asians (1.2-6.8%), followed by in African Americans (2.3-12.2%) and Caucasians (2.3-12.1%), and highest in Hispanic/Latinos (1.7-13.8%). However, the opposite effect was observed in CRR, where hazard ratios were highest in Asians vs. other R/Es: Asians 1.00-2.59 vs. others 0.5-1.83 for one DHRC, Asians 3.4-4.75 vs. others 0.66-3.66 for two DHRCs, and Asians 7.22 vs. others 3.03-4.99 for all three DHRCs. Conclusions R/E affects the proportions of DHRCs. Moreover, within the four examined R/E groups, the effect of DHRCs on absolute and relative CSM metrics also differed. Therefore, R/E-specific considerations may be warranted in high-risk PCa patients treated with RT.

Abstract
Background Prostate cancer (PCa) is currently the major malignancy in men. It is becoming increasingly clear that competitive endogenous RNA (ceRNA) regulation networks are important in a wide variety of cancers. Nevertheless, there is still much to learn about the biological functions of the ceRNA network in prostate cancer. Methods The ceRNA network was constructed using the "GDCRNATools" package. Based on survival analysis, we obtained AC005154.6/hsa-miR-29c-3p/CCNL2 for further analysis. The prognostic model based on this ceRNA network was constructed by univariate and multivariate Cox regression methods. Furthermore, functional enrichment analysis, mutation landscape analysis, immune infiltration analysis, drug sensitivity analysis, methylation analysis, pan-cancer analysis, and molecular experiments of CCNL2 were carried out to investigate the role of CCNL2 in tumorigenesis. Results We identified the AC005154.6/CCNL2 axis as a risk factor that can promote the progression of prostate cancer by bioinformatics analysis and molecular experiments. Immune infiltration analysis suggested that CCNL2 may act as a novel biomarker for treatment decisions. The methylation level of CCNL2 was significantly decreased in tumor samples, possibly contributing to the upregulation of CCNL2 in prostate cancer. Moreover, CCNL2 is differentially expressed in multiple cancers and is tightly correlated with immune infiltration. Conclusion The current study constructed a ceRNA network, AC005154.6/hsa-miR-29c-3p/CCNL2. Potentially, this biomarker can be used for early diagnosis and decision-making about prostate cancer treatment. Abstract
BACKGROUND Large-scale prostate cancer (PCa) database reviews have found a consistent discrepancy in the mortality rate in Black patients compared to their White counterparts. Furthermore, differences in PCa treatment and outcomes among Black men of different ethnic origins have also been identified. Due to the heterogeneity of PCa-impacted communities and the unclear impact of patient immigration status on treatment outcomes, we sought to determine the demographic factors associated with treatment choice for definitive treatment of PCa in our single institution's patient population of Black immigrants. METHODS We distributed surveys to all patients in the Kings County Hospital Center urologic oncology clinic from February 2019 to February 2020 and collected relevant health information via EMR. The survey collected demographic information regarding age, education, health insurance, employment status, socioeconomic status, country of birth, and years living in the United States (US). RESULTS Out of the 253 patients surveyed, the majority of patients surveyed were Black and foreign born. There were no significant differences in demographic data between US-born and foreign-born patients except number of years living in the United States. In the intermediate risk group, patients living in the United States for <10 years chose surgery significantly more often than US-born patients (90.9% vs. 50.0%, p = 0.036). On multivariate analysis, patients that chose surgery were more likely to be older when diagnosed (odds ratio [OR] = 1.21) and less likely to be born in the United States than in African or Caribbean countries (OR = 0.054). CONCLUSIONS In our study of a majority-Black population, we found that patients born in the United States were less likely than their foreign counterparts to opt for surgery, as previous studies have shown. The choice of definitive treatment modality for Black men with intermediate risk PCa was found to be influenced by age at diagnosis and immigration status.

Abstract
This article is a systematic review of mental health in urologic oncology patients with prostate cancer (PCa), bladder cancer (BC), renal cell carcinoma (RCC), testicular cancer (TC), or penile cancer (PeCa). For all pathologies, a focus on increasing quality of life post-treatment demonstrated a positive impact in reducing Mental Health Illness (MHI) prevalence. Cancer specific mental health care may be given to patients to reduce suicide risk in BC patients and sexual identify and masculinity counseling may improve mental health for TC or PeCa patients. In order to better accommodate patient’s mental health needs when undergoing GU cancer treatment, we recommend incorporation of mental health metrics such as questionnaires to assess early treatment of MHI, a greater emphasis on psychosocial support with the patient’s loved ones, peers, and healthcare team, alongside advising healthy habits such as exercise which has been shown to drastically reduce MHI incidence across all pathologies. We hope that these measures conducted by urologists and oncologists, alongside possible coordination with psychiatrists and psychologists for psychotherapy, psychopharmacology, and neuro-stimulation treatment modems may be helpful in the long term to reduce MHI incidence in urology oncology patients. Given the higher incidence of MHI in oncology patients and in the patient population after the Covid-19 pandemic, MHI awareness in the sphere of urologic oncologic treatment continues to be crucial when creating a collaborative treatment platform for patients.

Abstract
A review of the current treatment options for prostate cancer and the formation of resistance to these regimens has been compiled including primary, acquired, and cross-resistance. The diversification of the pathways involved and the escape routes the tumor is utilizing have been addressed. Whereas early stages of tumor can be cured, there is no treatment available after a point of no return has been reached, leaving palliative treatment as the only option. The major reasons for this outcome are the heterogeneity of tumors, both inter- and intra-individually and the nearly endless number of escape routes, which the tumor can select to overcome the effects of treatment. This means that more focus should be applied to the individualization of both diagnosis and therapy of prostate cancer. In addition to current treatment options, novel drugs and ongoing clinical trials have been addressed in this review.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE To analyze the incidence, mortality and survival of prostate cancer in Cuiabá and Várzea Grande, Brazil from 2000 to 2016. METHODS Data from the Population-based Cancer Registry and the Mortality Information System were used. Mortality and incidence trends were analyzed using joinpoint regression models by age group. Survival analyses were performed using the Kaplan-Meier method, and hazard ratio was estimated by age group. RESULTS From 2000 to 2016, 3,671 new cases and 892 deaths for prostate cancer were recorded. The average incidence and mortality rates were 87.96 and 20.22 per 100,000, respectively. Decreasing incidence trend was noted for all age groups from 2006 to 2016 (APC=-3.2%) and for men with 80+ years of age from 2000 to 2016 (APC=-3.0%), and increasing mortality trend for men 60-69 years of age from 2000 to 2009 (APC=3.2%). The specific five-year survival rate for prostate cancer was 79.6% (95%CI 77.2-81.9), and the rate decreased with advanced age (HR=2.43, 95%CI 1.5-3.9, for those 70 to 79 years old and HR=7.20, 95%CI 4.5-11.5, for those 80 or older). CONCLUSION The incidence rate of prostate cancer showed a decreasing trend from 2006 for all age groups; the mortality rate was stable in that period, and worse prognosis was observed in men 70 years or older.

Abstract
223Ra is an α-emitter approved for the treatment of bone metastatic prostate cancer (PCa), which exerts direct cytotoxicity toward PCa cells near the bone interface, whereas cells positioned in the core respond poorly because of short α-particle penetrance. β1 integrin (β1I) interference has been shown to increase radiosensitivity and significantly enhance external-beam radiation efficiency. We hypothesized that targeting β1I would improve 223Ra outcome. Methods: We tested the effect of combining 223Ra and anti-β1I antibody treatment in PC3 and C4-2B PCa cell models expressing high and low β1I levels, respectively. In vivo tumor growth was evaluated through bioluminescence. Cellular and molecular determinants of response were analyzed by ex vivo 3-dimensional imaging of bone lesions and by proteomic analysis and were further confirmed by computational modeling and in vitro functional analysis in tissue-engineered bone mimetic systems. Results: Interference with β1I combined with 223Ra reduced PC3 cell growth in bone and significantly improved overall mouse survival, whereas no change was achieved in C4-2B tumors. Anti-β1I treatment decreased the PC3 tumor cell mitosis index and spatially expanded 223Ra lethal effects 2-fold, in vivo and in silico. Regression was paralleled by decreased expression of radioresistance mediators. Conclusion: Targeting β1I significantly improves 223Ra outcome and points toward combinatorial application in PCa tumors with high β1I expression.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Multiple studies have confirmed a high prevalence of prognostic germline mutations in prostate cancer. In recognition, the NCCN guidelines and recommendations for genetic counselling (GC) in prostate cancer patients were expanded. METHODS Data on prostate cancer patients at a single tertiary cancer center from January 2019 - June 2019 were queried. The cohort of patients from the queried list were evaluated for their eligibility for genetic testing. From the patients that were eligible for testing, the rate of referrals was ascertained. A 10-item questionnaire was concurrently sent to providers to understand germline genetic testing patterns and potential barriers. RESULTS Only 39% of the eligible prostate cancer patients were referred, with testing completed in 11% with indications. 30% of providers reported they would be comfortable completing genetic counseling themselves. The identified barriers to provide genetic testing themselves were lack of time and expertise (50%). Other barriers included: lack of genetic counselor workforce (70%), lack of knowledge of genetic testing and the inadequate co-ordination of referrals (60%). CONCLUSION In this retrospective study, many patients met the criteria for GC, however, the referrals for this patient population are inconsistent, and only a handful of the eligible patients completed testing. Identified barriers were provider's knowledge and comfort with guidelines and testing, systemic bottlenecks such as limited capacity of genetic counsellors, and the creation of improved workflows.

Abstract
PURPOSE Prostate cancer is the most common cancer among men in the United States. The majority of prostate cancer treatment occurs in the ambulatory setting, and patients and their caregivers take on significant responsibility for monitoring and managing treatment and disease-related toxicity. Digital health coaching has shown promise as a tool to positively influence outcomes. We completed a single-arm pilot study to assess the feasibility of digital health coaching in men with prostate cancer. METHODS Men with a history of prostate cancer requiring treatment in the past 2 years were eligible for inclusion. Participants engaged in a 12-week health coaching program, consisting of a combination of at least one telephone call and up to four digital nudges (defined as content delivered via text, e-mail, or app on the basis of the participant's preference) per week. Prostate cancer-specific content addressed one of the following topics each week: fatigue, pain management, healthy eating, exercise, managing incontinence, sexual health, managing stress and anxiety, financial toxicity, goal setting during treatment, managing side effects, communicating with the health care team, and medication adherence. Services were provided at no cost to the participant. RESULTS A hundred patients were consented for the study, and 88 enrolled. The feasibility threshold of 60% was met with 63 of the 88 enrolled individuals completing the 3-month program (proportion = 71.6%; 90% CI, 62.6 to 79.4; P = .016). CONCLUSION Digital health coaching for men with prostate cancer is feasible. These findings support further evaluation of digital health coaching for men with prostate cancer in larger randomized controlled trials.

Abstract
Non-Hispanic Blacks were shown to have an earlier stage of renal cell carcinoma (RCC) at diagnosis compared to non-Hispanic Whites. It is less clear whether disparities in RCC staging occurs for other minority races/ethnicities. We aimed to assess the association between racial/ethnic minorities and stage at diagnosis of RCC, and test for potential effect modification by histological subtype. Sourced from the Surveillance, Epidemiology and End Results (SEER) database, patients ≥20 years diagnosed with RCC from 2007 to 2015 were included (n = 37 493). Logistic regression analyses were performed to assess the independent association between race/ethnicity [non-Hispanic White, non-Hispanic Black, non-Hispanic Asian Pacific Islander, non-Hispanic American Indian/Alaskan Native (AI/AN) and Hispanic] and advanced RCC stage at diagnosis (i.e. regional spread or distant metastasis). Interaction terms were tested and stratified regression was performed accordingly. Twenty-eight percent of patients had advanced RCC stage at diagnosis. After adjusting for age, gender, year of diagnosis, histological subtype and insurance status, compared to non-Hispanic Whites, non-Hispanic Blacks had lower odds of advanced stage at diagnosis [odds ratio (OR) = 0.79; 95% confidence interval (CI) = 0.72-0.87 for clear cell; OR = 0.48; CI = 0.30-0.78 for chromophobe and OR = 0.26; CI = 0.10-0.35 for other subtypes]. Higher odds of advanced stage at diagnosis were found for non-Hispanic AI/AN in clear cell (OR = 1.27; CI = 1.04-1.55) and for Hispanics in papillary subtypes (OR = 1.58; CI = 1.07-2.33). Racial disparities in the RCC stage at diagnosis varied according to histological subtype. Further investigation on the racial disparities reported is warranted to optimize detection and ultimately improve the prognosis of patients with RCC.

Abstract
Prostate cancer represents one of the leading causes of cancer-related mortality in the United States and the most common cancer among men. Treatment paradigms for the management of advanced stages of prostate cancer have continued to evolve in recent years. These advancements in the therapeutic landscape of metastatic prostate cancer and diagnostic imaging modalities have fundamentally changed the treatment of patients with prostate cancer. In this review article we provide a primer for radiologists highlighting the most recent developments in treatment options and imaging techniques utilized in the modern oncologic management of metastatic prostate cancer. We will examine current therapy options and associated toxicities with an emphasis on relevant imaging findings commonly encountered by radiologists. We also summarize the role of modalities including CT, MRI, PET, bone scintigraphy, and PET in the diagnosis and follow-up of patients with metastatic prostate cancer.

Abstract
OBJECTIVES To test the effect of race/ethnicity on cancer-specific mortality after radical prostatectomy or external beam radiotherapy in localized prostate cancer patients. METHODS In the Surveillance, Epidemiology and End Results database 2004-2016, we identified intermediate-risk and high-risk white (n = 151 632), Asian (n = 11 189), Hispanic/Latino (n = 20 077) and African American (n = 32 550) localized prostate cancer patients, treated with external beam radiotherapy or radical prostatectomy. Race/ethnicity-stratified cancer-specific mortality analyses relied on competing risks regression, after propensity score matching for patient and cancer characteristics. RESULTS Compared with white patients, Asian intermediate- and high-risk external beam radiotherapy patients showed lower cancer-specific mortality (hazard ratio 0.58 and 0.70, respectively, both P ≤ 0.02). Additionally, Asian high-risk radical prostatectomy patients also showed lower cancer-specific mortality than white patients (hazard ratio 0.72, P = 0.04), but not Asian intermediate-risk radical prostatectomy patients (P = 0.08). Conversely, compared with white patients, African American intermediate-risk radical prostatectomy patients showed higher cancer-specific mortality (hazard ratio 1.36, P = 0.01), but not African American high-risk radical prostatectomy or intermediate- and high-risk external beam radiotherapy patients (all P ≥ 0.2). Finally, compared with white people, no cancer-specific mortality differences were recorded for Hispanic/Latino patients after external beam radiotherapy or radical prostatectomy, in both risk levels (P ≥ 0.2). CONCLUSIONS Relative to white patients, an important cancer-specific mortality advantage applies to intermediate-risk and high-risk Asian prostate cancer patients treated with external beam radiotherapy, and to high-risk Asian patients treated with radical prostatectomy. These observations should be considered in pretreatment risk stratification and decision-making.

RESUMO: Objetivo: Analisar a incidência, a mortalidade e a sobrevida por câncer de próstata em Cuiabá e Várzea Grande, no período de 2000 a 2016. Métodos: Foram utilizados os dados do Registro de Câncer de Base Populacional e do Sistema de Informações sobre Mortalidade. Para a análise de tendência da incidência e mortalidade, foi utilizada a regressão por Joinpoint segundo faixa etária. Para estimar a probabilidade de sobrevivência foi utilizado o método de Kaplan-Meier e, para avaliar a associação com a faixa etária, foi estimado o hazard ratio (HR). A média das taxas no período (100.000 habitantes) foi de 87,96 para incidência e 20,22 para mortalidade. Verificou-se tendência decrescente da taxa de incidência para todas as idades de 2006 a 2016 (variação percentual anual — APC=-3,2%) e para homens com 80 anos ou mais de 2000 a 2016 (APC=-3,0%), bem como tendência crescente da taxa de mortalidade nos homens de 60–69 anos de 2000 a 2009 (APC=3,2%). A probabilidade de sobrevida específica em cinco anos foi de 79,6% (intervalo de confiança — IC95%: 77,2; 81,9) e diminuiu com o aumento da faixa etária (HR=2,43; IC95%: 1,5; 3,9 para aqueles de 70 a 79 anos e HR= 7,20; IC95%: 4,5;11,5 para aqueles de 80 anos ou mais). Conclusão: A taxa de incidência de câncer de próstata apresentou tendência de decréscimo a partir de 2006 para todas as idades, a taxa de mortalidade foi estável no período e o pior prognóstico foi observado em homens com 70 anos ou mais.

Abstract
Prostate cancer (PCa) incidence has increased during the last decades, becoming one of the leading causes of death by cancer in men worldwide. During an extended period of prostate cancer, malignant cells are androgen-sensitive being testosterone the main responsible for tumor growth. Accordingly, treatments blocking production and action of testosterone are mostly used. However, during disease progression, PCa cells become androgen insensitive producing a castration-resistant stage with a worse prognosis. Overcoming castration-resistant prostate cancer (CRPC) has become a great challenge in the management of this disease. In the search for molecular pathways leading to therapy resistance, the epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT), and particularly the transcription factors zinc finger E-box-binding homeobox 1 (Zeb1) and zinc finger protein SNAI1 (Snail), master genes of the EMT, have shown to have pivotal roles. Also, the discovery that cancer stem cells (CSCs) can be generated de novo from their non-CSCs counterpart has led to the question whereas these EMT transcription factors could be implicated in this dynamic conversion between non-CSC and CSC. In this review, we analyze evidence supporting the idea that Zeb1 and Snail induce cell malignancy and cancer stem cell phenotype in prostate cells, increasing androgen synthesis capacity and therapy resistance.

Abstract
Background The population-based survival rate is affected by the quality and effectiveness of health care systems. Overall, the survival of prostate cancer (PC) patients has improved over the past two decades worldwide. This study aimed to determine the overall survival rate and correlate it with the prognostic factors in patients with PC diagnosed in Kurdistan province. Methods In a retrospective cohort study, 410 PC patients registered in Kurdistan province population-based cancer registry from March 2011 to 2018 were recruited. Kaplan–Meier method and log-rank test were used to analyze the overall survival rates of PC patients. A Multivariate Cox regression model was used to determine adjusted hazard ratios for different variables. Results Of 410 patients with PC, 263 (64.1%) died within seven years due to the disease. The 1, 3, and 5 years survival rates were 93, 64.1, and 40.7%, respectively. According to the results of multiple Cox regression, the following factors were significantly related to PC survival: age at diagnosis (≥81-years old) (HR=2.23, 95% CI: 1.23-4.42) and 71-80 years old was (HR=1.26, 95% CI: 1.12-2.31), occupation (employee) (HR=0.42, 95% CI: 0.20–0.87), educational level: academic (HR=0.78, 95% CI: 0.64–0.91), AJCC stage of disease (HR=2.18, 95% CI: 1.9–3.68), Gleason score ≥ 9 (HR=7.12, 95% CI: 5.35–10.28), and Gleason score= 8 (HR=4.16, 95% CI: 2.50–6.93). There was less mortality rate among the patients who had received active care, radical prostatectomy, radiotherapy, combined treatment, and orchiectomy had a lower mortality rate than those who received no treatment (P<0.05). Conclusions This study demonstrated that factors such as age at diagnosis, level of education, occupation, AJCC stage of disease, Gleason score, and type of treatments were influential factors in the survival of PC patients in Kurdistan province and needed more attention.

Abstract
Objective This study aimed to develop and validate a machine learning model for predicting bone metastases (BM) in prostate cancer (PCa) patients. Methods Demographic and clinicopathologic variables of PCa patients in the Surveillance, Epidemiology and End Results (SEER) database from 2010 to 2017 were retrospectively analyzed. We used six different machine learning algorithms, including Decision tree (DT), Random forest (RF), Multilayer Perceptron (MLP), Logistic regression (LR), Naive Bayes classifiers (NBC), and eXtreme gradient boosting (XGB), to build prediction models. External validation using data from 644 PCa patients of the First Affiliated Hospital of Nanchang University from 2010 to 2016. The performance of the models was evaluated using the area under receiver operating characteristic curve (AUC), accuracy score, sensitivity (recall rate) and specificity. A web predictor was developed based on the best performance model. Results A total of 207,137 PCa patients from SEER were included in this study. Of whom, 6725 (3.25%) developed BM. Gleason score, Prostate-specific antigen (PSA) value, T, N stage and age were found to be the risk factors of BM. The XGB model offered the best predictive performance among these 6 models (AUC: 0.962, accuracy: 0.884, sensitivity (recall rate): 0.906, and specificity: 0.879). An XGB model-based web predictor was developed to predict BM in PCa patients. Conclusion This study developed a machine learning model and a web predictor for predicting the risk of BM in PCa patients, which may help physicians make personalized clinical decisions and treatment strategy for patients.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Black men are more likely to be diagnosed with aggressive prostate cancer (PC) and die from PC than white men. However, black men with metastatic castration-resistant PC (mCRPC) had longer overall survival (OS) than white men when treated with certain agents in clinical trials. We analyzed claims data from the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) database to evaluate OS in black and white men treated with enzalutamide or abiraterone (novel hormonal therapy [NHT]) for chemotherapy-naïve mCRPC. METHODS Patients with mCRPC aged ≥18 years were identified in the VHA database by diagnosis codes, evidence of surgical/medical castration, and a prescription claim for enzalutamide or abiraterone after castration from April 2014-March 2017. Cox models assessed associations between race and OS. Unadjusted and multivariable analyses were performed on the entire population and subsets based on the type of therapy received (if any) after NHT. RESULTS In total, 2910 patients were identified (787 black, mean 71.7 years; 2123 white, mean 74.0 years). Median follow-up was 19.0 and 18.7 months in blacks and whites, respectively. Black men had better survival versus white men: hazard ratios (95% CIs) were 0.89 (0.790-0.996; P = 0.044) and 0.67 (0.592-0.758; P < 0.0001) in the unadjusted and multivariable models, respectively. Statistically significantly longer OS was seen in black versus white men regardless of subsequent treatment, including no subsequent treatment. CONCLUSIONS In the VHA, black men with chemotherapy-naïve mCRPC initiating NHT may have better outcomes than similarly treated white men.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Over the past 2 decades, numerous decision-making interventions have been developed to guide the prostate cancer (PrCA) treatment choices of patients and families. These interventions are often supported by economic decision frameworks, which do not account for the role of emotions in treatment decisions. In some instances, emotion-driven decisions can override an individual's cognitive evaluation of a decision, leading to unfavorable outcomes such as decision regret. OBJECTIVES To produce a Prostate Cancer Treatment Decision Framework based on the Risk-as-Feelings Hypothesis. METHODS The authors reviewed seminal research in emotion and decision-making in an effort to create a context-specific decision framework. RESULTS Five variables, not germane to the Risk-as-Feelings Hypothesis, play prominent roles in PrCA decision-making including age, spirituality, family support, healthcare provider communication, and perception of treatment outcomes. While family support only affects decision outcomes by influencing emotion and cognitive evaluation of a PrCA decision, age, spirituality, and healthcare provider communication can have direct effects on an individual's perception of treatment outcomes. CONCLUSIONS The Prostate Cancer Treatment Decision Framework combines new variables with older models to explain the PrCA treatment decision-making process and elucidate relationships affecting treatment outcomes and survivors' perceptions of these outcomes. The core premise of this model can be applied to other high-risk health decisions. IMPLICATIONS FOR PRACTICE Healthcare providers have the greatest influence on PrCA treatment decision-making. Using a shared decision-making approach, providers should take into account a patient's personal characteristics and values, in addition to clinical presentation, to help patients with treatment decisions.

Abstract
Mind bomb 1 (MIB1) is a well‑known E3 ubiquitin ligase. MicroRNAs (miRNAs/miRs) have been found to serve important functions in cancer cell physiology. However, the clinical significance and biological function of MIB1 and miRNAs in prostate cancer (PCa) are yet to be fully elucidated. The current study predicted the interaction between MIB1 and miR‑195‑5p using TargetScan, and the results were confirmed by performing a dual‑luciferase reporter assay. The mRNA expression level of MIB1 and miR‑195‑5p in PCa and adjacent normal tissues, and PCa cell lines was detected using reverse transcription‑quantitative PCR. Cell Counting Kit‑8 and Transwell assays were used to measure the proliferation, and migration and invasion of VCaP and DU145 PCa cell lines, respectively, while western blot analysis was used to detect the protein expression level of MIB1. The results revealed that the mRNA expression level of MIB1 was increased, while the mRNA expression level of miR‑195‑5p was decreased in PCa tissues (P<0.001 and P<0.01, respectively) and in various cell lines, including PC‑3 (P<0.001 and P<0.05, respectively), VCaP (P<0.001 and P<0.01, respectively), 22Rv1 (P<0.001 and P<0.05, respectively), DU145 (P<0.001 and P<0.01, respectively) and LNCaP (P<0.001 and P<0.05, respectively). miR‑195‑5p mimics rescued the inhibitory effects caused by knockdown of MIB1 on cell proliferation, migration and invasion in the VCaP and DU145 cell lines. In addition, MIB1 overexpression restored the miR‑195‑5p overexpression‑induced repression of cell proliferation and invasion. The current study revealed that the MIB1 gene was an effector of cell proliferation, migration and invasion in PCa cell lines. Furthermore, miR‑195‑5p may regulate PCa cell proliferation and invasion by regulating MIB1, indicating its potential therapeutic application for PCa in the future.
