Abstract
A carboxylesterase fluorescent probe (Probe 1) was developed for determination of carboxylesterase to guide detection of carbamate pesticide. The probe uses benzothiazole as fluorescence group and phenyldimethyl carbamate as recognition group. The solution of the fluorescent probe gradually changes from light blue to dark blue as the concentration of carbamate pesticides increases. The concentration of carbamate pesticides can be quickly calculated according to the colour of the probe solution through Get Color software on a smartphone. It showed that Probe 1 can be used as a rapid detection tool to achieve rapid detection of carbamate pesticides in juice samples without professional personnel and equipment. Furthermore, the probe has been successfully used to detect carbamate pesticides in fruit juice and vegetable juice.

Abstract
The treatment of agricultural areas with pesticides is an indispensable approach to improve crop yields and cannot be avoided in the coming decades. At the same time, significant amounts of pesticides remain in food and their ingestion causes serious damage such as neurological, gastrointestinal, and allergic reactions; cancer; and even death. However, during the fermentation processing of foods, residual amounts of pesticides are significantly reduced thanks to enzymatic degradation by the starter and accompanying microflora. This review concentrates on foods with the highest levels of pesticide residues, such as milk, yogurt, fermented vegetables (pickles, kimchi, and olives), fruit juices, grains, sourdough, and wines. The focus is on the molecular mechanisms of pesticide degradation due to the presence of specific microbial species. They contain a unique genetic pool that confers an appropriate enzymological profile to act as pesticide detoxifiers. The prospects of developing more effective biodetoxification strategies by engaging probiotic lactic acid bacteria are also discussed.

Abstract
Fruits are vital parts of the human diet because they include necessary nutrients that the body needs. Pesticide use has increased dramatically in recent years to combat fruit pests across the world. Pesticide usage during production, on the other hand, frequently results in undesirable residues in fruits after harvest. Consumers are concerned about pesticide residues since most of the fruits are directly consumed and even recommended for the patients as dietary supplements. As a result of this worry, pesticide residues in fruits are being randomly monitored to re-assess the food safety situation and make informed legislative decisions. To assess the degree of pesticide residues in fruits, a simple and quick analytical procedure is usually required. As a result, pesticide residue detection (using various analytical techniques: GC, LC and Biosensors) becomes critical, and regulatory directives are formed to regulate their amounts via the Maximum Residue Limit (MRL). Over the previous two decades, a variety of extraction techniques and analytical methodologies for xenobiotic's efficient extraction, identification, confirmation and quantification have been developed, ranging from traditional to advanced. The goal of this review is to give readers an overview of the evolution of numerous extraction and detection methods for pesticide residue analysis in fruits. The objective is to assist analysts in better understanding how the ever-changing regulatory landscape might drive the need for new analytical methodologies to be developed in order to comply with current standards and safeguard consumers.

Ionic liquid and magnetic multiwalled carbon nanotubes for extraction of N-methylcarbamate pesticides from water samples prior their determination by capillary electrophoresis. Abstract
A simple and rapid microextraction procedure is reported on the use of ionic liquid (IL) in combination with magnetic multiwalled carbon nanotubes (MMWCNTs). The procedure is based on temperature-controlled IL dispersive liquid phase microextraction (DLPME) and MMWCNTs, for selective preconcentration of N-methylcarbamate pesticides in water samples, followed by their hydrolysis in alkaline buffer, prior to being analyzed by capillary electrophoresis. The extraction procedure uses small volume of organic solvents, and there is no need for centrifugation. In the experimental approach the IL was quickly disrupted by an ultrasonic probe, heated with the temperature controlled at 90 °C and dispersed in water samples in a homogenous form. At this stage, N-methylcarbamate pesticides migrate into the IL. Then the solution was cooled and small amounts of MMWCNTs were dispersed into the sample solutions to adsorb the ionic liquid containing the analytes and phase separation was completed. The ionic liquid allowed the microextraction of the analytes and a small volume of dichloromethane (DCM) was used for elution. MMWCNTs favored the adsorption of the ionic liquid with the analytes and improved the final recovery with respect to the use of simple magnetic nanoparticles as a sorbent material. Under the optimum conditions, limit of quantifications (LOQ) were achieved in the 5.6-9.3 ng mL-1 range, with recoveries between 85.0% and 102.4%.

Abstract
Carbamate pesticides (CBs) are reported as one of the main causes of intentional or accidental poisoning of animals. Anticoagulant rodenticides (ARs) form the main class of poisons implicated in analyzed poisoned baits. These two groups of pesticide compounds include multiple substances, and thus, the development of a simple and rapid multiclass/multiresidue analytical method for simultaneous identification of both toxicant classes should be a useful strategy for analytical laboratories to reduce analysis time and cost. The present study aimed to elaborate and validate a rapid method to simultaneously determine 11 CBs and 8 ARs in samples of real matrices (bait, stomach content, and liver) from suspected animal poisoning cases. QuEChERS sample treatment and liquid chromatography coupled to hybrid high resolution mass spectrometry were used. The method resulted in good linearity (R2 ≥ 0.98) for all compounds, recovery was between 70% and 120% for CBs and 40-90% for ARs, and precision was ≤ 20% for all compounds. The method was successfully applied to the analysis of 871 real samples originating from suspected cases of animal poisoning, collected from April 2019 to October 2020. Furthermore, full scan dependent data acquisition allowed qualitative retrospective data analysis of an additional 15 compounds outside the scope of the method to be performed; these compounds could potentially be involved in unresolved poisoning cases.

Abstract
A novel magnetic covalent organic framework (NH2-Fe3O4@COF) was prepared using a simple room-temperature synthesis in this study. These magnetic particles exhibited high adsorption performance with short adsorption time (10 min) for six benzoylurea insecticides (BUs) as magnetic solid-phase extraction (MSPE) adsorbents. Quantum chemistry calculation demonstrated that adsorption mechanism was primarily attributed to strong halogen bonds between electronegative O atoms of COF and electropositive F atoms of BUs as well as potential hydrophobic effect. Wide linearities (10-1000 ng·L-1) and low limits of detection (0.06-1.65 ng·L-1) for six analytes were obtained via liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry. Applicability of the proposed method was further evaluated by analyzing four kinds of original tea beverages. Recoveries of six BUs in spiked samples ranged from 80.1% to 108.4%.

Abstract
Cachaça or "sugarcane spirit" is a Brazilian beverage considered the third most consumed beverage worldwide. Sugarcane, its raw material, is one of the main crops developed in the country, placing Brazil as the largest producer of this commodity on a global scale. Considering the growth in sugarcane production, many farmers use pesticides in their crops. However, excess pesticides can be accumulated in products derived from sugarcane, creating an environmental and public health concern. In this context, the development of analytical methods capable of identifying residues of pesticides in cachaças and other sugarcane-derived products is essential to ensure the beverage's quality. This work presents a method to quantify multiclass pesticides in Brazilian sugarcane spirits (cachaças) through an automated multidimensional system. The first dimension consists of an extraction column packed with a graphene-silica phase, followed by a capillary liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry system as the second dimension. The method was optimized by an experimental design, in which the influence of three variables was evaluated on the extraction process: percentage of acetonitrile, loading flow, and loading time. Afterward, twenty-two cachaças were analyzed to ascertain the applicability of the proposed method. The analyses reported five samples containing clomazone (a type of herbicide widely used in sugarcane production). The method showed good linearity under optimized conditions, with correlation coefficients greater than 0.981, and limits of detection and quantification of 5 μg L-1 and 10 μg L-1, respectively. The herein discussed results suggest that the proposed method could be a practical option for identifying pesticides in beverages. Graphical Abstract.

Abstract
A novel ultrasound-assisted dispersive liquid-liquid microextraction based on solidification of floating organic droplet method (UA-DLLME-SFO) combined with gas chromatography (GC) was developed for the determination of eight pyrethroid pesticides in tea for the first time. After ultrasound and centrifugation, 1-dodecanol and ethanol was used as the extraction and dispersive solvent, respectively. A series of parameters, including extraction solvent and volume, dispersive solvent and volume, extraction time, pH, and ultrasonic time influencing the microextraction efficiency were systematically investigated. Under the optimal conditions, the enrichment factors (EFs) were from 292 to 883 for the eight analytes. The linear ranges for the analytes were from 5 to 100μg/kg. The method recoveries ranged from 92.1% to 99.6%, with the corresponding RSDs less than 6.0%. The developed method was considered to be simple, fast, and precise to satisfy the requirements of the residual analysis of pyrethroid pesticides.

Abstract
A new extraction method, based on Dispersive Nano-Solid material-Ultrasound Assisted Micro-Extraction (DNSUAME), was used for the preconcentration of the bendiocarb and promecarb pesticides in the water samples prior to high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). The properties of NiZnS nanomaterial loaded on activated carbon (NiZnS-AC) are characterized by FT-IR, TEM, and BET. This novel nanomaterial showed great adsorptive ability towards the bendiocarb and promecarb pesticides. The effective variables such as the amount of adsorbent (mg: NiZnS-AC), the pH and ionic strength of sample solution, the vortex and ultrasonic time (min), the ultrasonic temperature (°C), and desorption volume (mL) are investigated by screening 2(7-4) experiments of Plackett-Burman (PB) design. The important variables optimized by using a central composite design (CCD) were combined by a desirability function (DF). At optimum conditions, the method has linear response over 0.0033-10 µg mL(-1) with detection limit between 0.0010 and 0.0015 µg mL(-1) with relative standard deviations (RSDs) less than 5.5% (n=3). The method has been successfully applied for the determination of the bendiocarb and promecarb pesticides in the water samples.

Abstract
A simple and efficient method for determination of kasugamycin in chilli and soil was developed, and the fate of kasugamycin in chilli field ecosystem was also studied. Kasugamycin residues were extracted from sample, cleaned up by solid phase extraction and chromatographic column and then determined by ultra performance liquid chromatography with tandem mass spectrometry detection. The method got recoveries ranged from 77.82% to 83.35% with relative standard deviations of 2.20%-6.54%. As far as the accuracy and precision was concerned, the method met certain standard. The LODs of kasugamycin calculated as a sample concentration (S/N ratio of 3) was 2.50 μg kg(-1). The degradation of kasugamycin in chilli and soil was determined. The results showed that kasugamycin degradation in chilli plant and soil followed the first-order kinetics. The half-lives of kasugamycin in chilli and soil was 2.76-3.77 and 3.07-3.91 days, respectively. The final kasugamycin residues in chilli and soil were undetectable at levels of recommended and 1.5 times recommended dosage with an interval of 21 days.
