Abstract
The multifunctional extension of fiber-based wearable sensors determines their integration and sustainable development, with electrospinning technology providing reliable, efficient, and scalable support for fabricating these sensors. Despite numerous studies on electrospun fiber-based wearable sensors, further attention is needed to leverage composite structural engineering for functionalizing electrospun fibers. This paper systematically reviews the research progress on fiber-based multifunctional wearable sensors in terms of design concept, device fabrication, mechanism exploration, and application potential. Firstly, the basics of electrospinning are briefly introduced, including its development, principles, parameters, and material selection. Tactile sensors, as crucial components of wearable sensors, are discussed in detail, encompassing their performance parameters, transduction mechanisms, and preparation strategies for pressure, strain, temperature, humidity, and bioelectrical signal sensors. The main focus of the article is on the latest research progress in multifunctional sensing design concepts, multimodal decoupling mechanisms, sensing mechanisms, and functional extensions. These extensions include multimodal sensing, self-healing, energy harvesting, personal thermal management, EMI shielding, antimicrobial properties, and other capabilities. Furthermore, the review assesses existing challenges and outlines future developments for multifunctional wearable sensors, highlighting the need for continued research and innovation.

Abstract
Three-dimensional magnetic nanowire networks (3DNNs) have shown promise for applications beyond those of their linear counterparts. However, understanding the underlying magnetization reversal mechanisms has been limited. In this study, we present a combined experimental and computational investigation on simplified 3DNNs to address this gap. Our findings reveal a previously unidentified in-plane magnetoelastic anisotropy, validated through comparisons between experimental and simulated magnetic data. Notably, we discovered that magnetization reversal in 3DNNs is driven by highly localized magnetic states, arising from the interplay of exchange and dipolar interactions, magnetoelastic anisotropy, and nanowire microstructure. This discovery challenges the prevailing understanding of magnetization reversal in nickel nanowires. Our work provides critical insights into the magnetic behavior of 3DNNs, opening doors for their tailored design and optimization.

Abstract
Flexible magnetic sensors, which have advantages such as deformability, vector field sensing, and noncontact detection, are an important branch of flexible electronics and have significant applications in fields such as magnetosensitive electronic skin. Human skin surfaces have complicated deformations, which pose a demand for magnetic sensors that can withstand omnidirectional strain while maintaining stable performance. However, existing flexible magnetic sensor arrays can only withstand stretching along specific directions and are prone to failure under complicated deformations. Here, we demonstrate an omnidirectionally stretchable spin-valve sensor array with high stretchability and excellent performance. By integrating the modulus-distributed structure with liquid metal, the sensor can maintain its performance under complex deformations, enabling the overall system with omnidirectional stretchability. The fabricated spin-valve sensor exhibits a nearly unchanged giant magnetoresistance ratio of 8% and a maximum sensitivity of 0.93%/Oe upon omnidirectional strain up to 86% and can maintain stable performance without fatigue for over 1000 stretching cycles. Furthermore, this spin-valve sensor array is characterized by stable sensing performance for magnetic fields under complicated deformations and can be applied as a magnetosensitive electronic skin. Our results provide insights into the development of next-generation stretchable and wearable magnetoelectronics.

Abstract
Tactile sensing is currently a research hotspot in the fields of intelligent perception and robotics. The method of converting external stimuli into electrical signals for sensing is a very effective strategy. Herein, we proposed a self-powered, flexible, transparent tactile sensor integrating sliding and proximity sensing (SFTTS). The principle of electrostatic induction and contact electrification is used to achieve tactile response when external objects approach and slide. Experiments show that the material type, speed, and pressure of the perceived object can cause the changes of the electrical signal. In addition, fluorinated ethylene propylene (FEP) is used as the contact electrification layer, and indium tin oxide (ITO) is used as the electrostatic induction electrode to achieve transparency and flexibility of the entire device. By utilizing the transparency characteristics of this sensor to integrate with optical cameras, it is possible to achieve integrated perception of tactile and visual senses. This has great advantages for applications in the field of intelligent perception and is expected to be integrated with different types of optical sensors in the future to achieve multimodal intelligent perception and sensing technology, which will contribute to the intelligence and integration of robot sensing.

Abstract
Potential safety hazards such as leakage, flammability and thermal runaway of liquid electrolytes in conventional energy storage devices have seriously hindered their further development. In this work, a flame-retardant polyacrylamide/pullulan/phytic acid (PAM/PUL/PA) hydrogel electrolyte is prepared by using PA as flame-retardant additive, PAM as main polymer chain by one-step radical polymerization method. The PAM/PUL/PA hydrogel shows good flame-retardant properties with limiting oxygen index of up to 58 %, high mechanical performance with stretch up to 1535 % and 92 kPa tensile stress. Zinc ion capacitor (ZIC) assembled with the PAM/PUL/PA hydrogel as electrolyte and separator exhibits high ionic conductivity of 22.54 mS cm-1, high specific capacity of 111.5 mAh g-1 at 0.1 A g-1 and energy density of 97.57 Wh kg-1 at a power density of 49.99 W kg-1, as well as good capacitance retention of 74.6 % even after 10,000 cycles. Furthermore, the ZIC has outstanding flexibility, the capacitance retention rate almost unchanged even after 1000 consecutive bending of deformations. These excellent properties are attributed to the hydrogen bonds easily formed by polar functional groups in hydrogels and the electrostatic interactions with metal ions. This work presented a simple and general pathway to prepare high-safety flexible energy storage devices with multifunctional properties.

Abstract
Flexible and wearable devices have exhibited potential for applications in the fields of human-machine interactions (HMIs) and Internet of Things. However, challenges remain in the improvement of the communication storage capacity with a simplified architecture. Inspired by tension regulation in natural tendons, a single-channel wearable HMI strategy is proposed using the eigenfrequency of magnetized strings as a sensing solution. Based on electromagnetic induction, mechanical vibration of the magnetized string can electrically induce periodical damping signals in the coil that are associated with the intrinsic eigenfrequency property of the string. Using a theoretical vibration model, nonoverlapping eigenfrequencies are precisely customized by designing the dimension/modulus or tension status of the string to broaden the eigenfrequency library. By integrating strings with different eigenfrequencies, multiple commands can be realized with a single communication channel. Moreover, identifiable commands can be flexibly tuned with only one magnetized string by customizing the tensile length (string tension) for eigenfrequency regulation. Demonstrations such as tactile addressing, authentication systems, and robotic control indicate the potential of the interface for multifunctional HMI applications. We expect that this strategy will provide a valuable reference for the future design of wearable HMI interfaces with high storage capacity and controllability in an accessible architecture.

Abstract
Imitating human neural networks via bio-inspired electronics advances human-machine interfaces (HMI), overcoming von Neumann limitations and enabling efficient, low-energy data processing in the big data era. However, single-contact mode HMIs have inherent limitations in terms of their capabilities and performances, such as constrained adaptability to dynamic environments, and reduced cognitive processing capabilities. Here, a dual-interactive-mode HMI system based on a triboelectric nanogenerator (TENG) and heterojunction synaptic transistor (HJST) is proposed for both contact and non-contact applications. The TENG incorporates a poly-methyl meth-acrylate (PMMA)-NiCo2S4/S film, in which the NiCo2S4/S composite traps and blocks electrons to optimize charge generation and storage. The heterojunction structure, mitigates the Debye screening effect, thereby improving transistor characteristics and reliability. The integrated TENG-HJST system exhibits synaptic functions, including excitatory/inhibitory postsynaptic current (EPSC/IPSC), paired-pulse facilitation/depression (PPF/PPD), and synaptic plasticity, enabling emulation of neural behavior and advanced information processing. Moreover, neural morphology manipulation is demonstrated in practical tasks, such as controlling international chess games. By integrating the TENG-HJST device with a robotic hand, conscious artificial responses are generated, enhancing event accuracy. This breakthrough in dual-interactive-mode interfacing holds promise for HMI systems and neural prostheses.

Abstract
The rapid development of ocean exploration and underwater robot technology has put forward new requirements for underwater sensing methods, which can be used for hydrodynamic characteristics perception, underwater target tracking, and even underwater cluster communication. Here, inspired by the specialized undulated surface structure of the seal whisker and its ability to suppress vortex-induced vibration, a multidirectional hydrodynamic sensor based on biomimetic whisker array structure and magnetic 3D self-decoupling theory is introduced. The magnetic-based sensing method enables wireless connectivity between the magnetic functional structures and electronics, simplifying device design and endowing complete watertightness. The 3D self-decoupling capability enables the sensor, like a seal or other organisms, to perceive arbitrary whisker motions caused by the action of water flow without complex calibration and additional sensing units. The whisker sensor is capable of detecting a variety of hydrodynamic information, including the velocity (RMSE < 0.061 m s-1) and direction of the steady flow field, the frequency (error < 0.05 Hz) of the dynamic vortex wake, and the orientation (error < 7°) of the vortex wake source, demonstrating its extensive potential for underwater environmental perception and communication, especially in deep sea conditions.

Abstract
Conventional magnetic biosensing technologies have reduced analytical capacity for magnetic field dimensionality and require extensive sample processing. To address these challenges, we spatially engineer 3D magnetic response gradients for direct and programmable molecular detection in native biofluids. Named magnetic augmentation through triple-gradient coupling for high-performance detection (MATCH), the technology comprises gradient-distributed magnetic nanoparticles encapsulated within responsive hydrogel pillars and suspended above a magnetic sensor array. This configuration enables multi-gradient matching to achieve optimal magnetic activation, response and transduction, respectively. Through focused activation by target biomarkers, the platform preferentially releases sensor-proximal nanoparticles, generating response gradients that complement the sensor's intrinsic detection capability. By implementing an upstream module that recognizes different biomarkers and releases universal activation molecules, the technology achieves programmable detection of various circulating biomarkers in native plasma. It bypasses conventional magnetic labeling, completes in <60 minutes and achieves sensitive detection (down to 10 RNA and 1000 protein copies). We apply the MATCH to measure RNAs and proteins directly in patient plasma, achieving accurate cancer classification.

Abstract
Tactile perception plays a vital role for the human body and is also highly desired for smart prosthesis and advanced robots. Compared to active sensing devices, passive piezoelectric and triboelectric tactile sensors consume less power, but lack the capability to resolve static stimuli. Here, we address this issue by utilizing the unique polarization chemistry of conjugated polymers for the first time and propose a new type of bioinspired, passive, and bio-friendly tactile sensors for resolving both static and dynamic stimuli. Specifically, to emulate the polarization process of natural sensory cells, conjugated polymers (including poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene):poly(styrenesulfonate), polyaniline, or polypyrrole) are controllably polarized into two opposite states to create artificial potential differences. The controllable and reversible polarization process of the conjugated polymers is fully in situ characterized. Then, a micro-structured ionic electrolyte is employed to imitate the natural ion channels and to encode external touch stimulations into the variation in potential difference outputs. Compared with the currently existing tactile sensing devices, the developed tactile sensors feature distinct characteristics including fully organic composition, high sensitivity (up to 773 mV N-1), ultralow power consumption (nW), as well as superior bio-friendliness. As demonstrations, both single point tactile perception (surface texture perception and material property perception) and two-dimensional tactile recognitions (shape or profile perception) with high accuracy are successfully realized using self-defined machine learning algorithms. This tactile sensing concept innovation based on the polarization chemistry of conjugated polymers opens up a new path to create robotic tactile sensors and prosthetic electronic skins.

Abstract
We have developed an innovative recyclable printed magnetoresistive sensor using GMR microflakes and AMR microparticles as functional fillers, with PECH as the elastomer binder. Under saturation magnetic fields of 100 mT and 30 mT, these sensors respectively exhibit magnetoresistance values of 4.7% and 0.45%. The excellent mechanical properties and thermal stability of the PECH elastomer binder endow these sensors with outstanding flexibility and temperature stability. This flexibility, low cost, and scalability make these sensors highly suitable for integration into flexible electronic devices, such as smart security systems and home automation. Moreover, these sensors are fully recyclable and reusable, allowing the materials to be separated, reused, and remanufactured without loss of performance. The low energy consumption of the production process and the recyclability of the materials significantly reduce the environmental impact of these magnetic field sensors.

Abstract
The sensor that simultaneously perceives bending strain and magnetic field has the potential to detect the finger bending state and hand position of the human and robot. Based on unique magneto-mechanical coupling effect of magnetostrictive materials, the proposed a bi-perceptive flexible sensor, consisting of the Co-Fe film and magnetic sensing plane coils, can realize dual information perception of strain/magnetic field through the change of magnetization state. The sensor structure and interface circuit of the sensing system are designed to provide high sensitivity and fast response, based on the input-output characteristics of the simulation model. An asynchronous multi-task deep learning method is proposed, which takes the output of the position task as the partial input of the bending state task to analyze the output information of the sensor quickly and accurately. The sensing system, integrating with the proposed model, can better predict the bending state and approach distance of human or robot hand.

Abstract
In vitro cardiomyocyte mechano-sensing platform is crucial for evaluating the mechanical performance of cardiac tissues and will be an indispensable tool for application in drug discovery and disease mechanism study. Magnetic sensing offers significant advantages in real-time, in situ wireless monitoring and resistance to ion interference. However, due to the mismatch between the stiffness of traditional rigid magnetic material and myocardial tissue, sensitivity is insufficient and it is difficult to achieve cell structure induction and three-dimensional cultivation. Herein, a magnetic sensing platform that integrates a neodymium-iron-boron/polydimethylsiloxane (NdFeB/PDMS) flexible microbeam with suspended and ordered polycaprolactone (PCL) nanofiber membranes was developed, providing a three-dimensional anisotropic culture environment for cardiomyocyte growth and simultaneously realizing in situ wireless contractility monitoring. The as-prepared sensor presented an ultrahigh sensitivity of 442.2 μV/μm and a deflection resolution of 2 μm. By continuously monitoring the cardiomyocyte growth status and drug stimulation feedback, we verified the capability of the platform to capture dynamic changes in cardiomyocyte contractility. This platform provides a perspective tool for evaluating cardiomyocyte maturity and drug performance.

Abstract
Emerging fields, such as wearable electronics, digital healthcare, the Internet of Things, and humanoid robots, highlight the need for flexible devices capable of recording signals on curved surfaces and soft objects. In particular, flexible magnetosensitive devices garner significant attention owing to their ability to combine the advantages of flexible electronics and magnetoelectronic devices, such as reshaping capability, conformability, contactless sensing, and navigation capability. Several key challenges must be addressed to develop well-functional flexible magnetic devices. These include determining how to make magnetic materials flexible and even elastic, understanding how the physical properties of magnetic films change under external strain and stress, and designing and constructing flexible magnetosensitive devices. In recent years, significant progress is made in addressing these challenges. This study aims to provide a timely and comprehensive overview of the most recent developments in flexible magnetosensitive devices. This includes discussions on the fabrications and mechanical regulations of flexible magnetic materials, the principles and performances of flexible magnetic sensors, and their applications for wearable electronics. In addition, future development trends and challenges in this field are discussed.

Abstract
In recent years, there has been a significant increase in the prevalence of electronic wearables, among which flexible magnetoelectronic skin has emerged as a key component. This technology is part of the rapidly progressing field of flexible wearable electronics, which has facilitated a new human perceptual development known as the magnetic sense. However, the magnetoelectronic skin is limited due to its low sensitivity and substantial field limitations as a wearable electronic device for sensing minor magnetic fields. Additionally, achieving efficient and non-destructive delamination in flexible magnetic sensors remains a significant challenge, hindering their development. In this study, we demonstrate a novel magnetoelectronic touchless interactive device that utilizes a flexible giant magnetoresistive sensor array. The flexible magnetic sensor array was developed through an electrochemical delamination process, and the resultant ultra-thin flexible electronic system possessed both ultra-thin and non-destructive characteristics. The flexible magnetic sensor is capable of achieving a bending angle of up to 90 degrees, maintaining its performance integrity even after multiple repetitive bending cycles. Our study also provides demonstrations of non-contact interaction and pressure sensing. This research is anticipated to significantly contribute to the advancement of high-performance flexible magnetic sensors and catalyze the development of more sophisticated magnetic electronic skins.

Abstract
While metaverse is widely discussed, comprehension of its intricacies remains limited to a select few. Conceptually akin to a three-dimensional embodiment of the Internet, the metaverse facilitates simultaneous existence in both physical and virtual domains. Fundamentally, it embodies a visually immersive virtual environment, striving for authenticity, where individuals engage in real-world activities such as commerce, gaming, social interaction, and leisure pursuits. The global pandemic has accelerated digital innovations across diverse sectors. Beyond strides in telehealth, payment systems, remote monitoring, and secure data exchange, substantial advancements have been achieved in artificial intelligence (AI), virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), and blockchain technologies. Nevertheless, the metaverse, in its nascent stage, continues to evolve, harboring significant potential for revolutionizing healthcare. Through integration with the Internet of Medical Devices, quantum computing, and robotics, the metaverse stands poised to redefine healthcare systems, offering enhancements in surgical precision and therapeutic modalities, thus promising profound transformations within the industry.

Abstract
Wearable devices, such as data gloves and electronic skins, can perceive human instructions, behaviors and even emotions by tracking a hand's motion, with the help of knowledge learning. The shape or position single-mode sensor in such devices often lacks comprehensive information to perceive interactive gestures. Meanwhile, the limited computing power of wearable applications restricts the multimode fusion of different sensing data and the deployment of deep learning networks. We propose a perceptive fusion electronic skin (PFES) with a bioinspired hierarchical structure that utilizes the magnetization state of a magnetostrictive alloy film to be sensitive to external strain or magnetic field. Installed at the joints of a hand, the PFES realizes perception of curvature (joint shape) and magnetism (joint position) information by mapping corresponding signals to the two-directional continuous distribution such that the two edges represent the contributions of curvature radius and magnetic field, respectively. By autonomously selecting knowledge closer to the user's hand movement characteristics, the reinforced knowledge distillation method is developed to learn and compress a teacher model for rapid deployment on wearable devices. The PFES integrating the autonomous learning algorithm can fuse curvature-magnetism dual information, ultimately achieving human machine interaction with gesture recognition and haptic feedback for cross-space perception and manipulation.

Abstract
Electronic skins are expected to replicate a human-like tactile sense, which significantly detects surface information, including geometry, material, and temperature. Although most texture features can be sensed in the horizontal direction, the lack of effective approaches for detecting vertical properties limits the development of artificial skin based on tactile sensors. In this study, an all-printed finger-inspired tactile sensor array is developed to realize the 3D detection and reconstruction of microscale structures. A beam structure with a suspended multilayer membrane is proposed, and a tactile sensor array of 12 units arranged in a dual-column layout is developed. This architecture enables the tactile sensor array to obtain comprehensive geometric information of micro-textures, including 3D morphology and clearance characteristics, and optimizes the 3D reconstruction patterns by self-calibration. Moreover, an innovative screen-printing technology incorporating multilayer printing and sacrificial-layer techniques is adopted to print the entire device. In additon, a Braille recognition system utilizing this tactile sensor array is developed to interpret Shakespeare's quotes printed in Grade 2 Braille. The abovementioned demonstrations reveal an attractive future vision for endowing bioinspired robots with the unique capability of touching and feeling the microscale real world and reconstructing it in the cyber world.

Abstract
Soft robotics has been a rapidly growing field in recent decades due to its advantages of softness, deformability, and adaptability to various environments. However, the separation of perception and actuation in soft robot research hinders its progress toward compactness and flexibility. To address this limitation, we propose the use of a dielectric elastomer actuator (DEA), which exhibits both an actuation capability and perception stability. Specifically, we developed a DEA array to localize the 3D spatial position of objects. Subsequently, we integrate the actuation and sensing properties of DEA into soft robots to achieve self-perception. We have developed a system that integrates actuation and sensing and have proposed two modes to achieve this integration. Furthermore, we demonstrated the feasibility of this system for soft robots. When the robots detect an obstacle or an approaching object, they can swiftly respond by avoiding or escaping the obstacle. By eliminating the need for separate perception and motion considerations, self-perceptional soft robots can achieve an enhanced response performance and enable applications in a more compact and flexible field.

Abstract
As tactile force sensing has become increasingly significant in the field of machine haptics, achieving multidimensional force sensing remains a challenge. We propose a 3D flexible force sensor that consists of an axisymmetric hemispherical protrusion and four equally sized quarter-circle electrodes. By simulating the device using a force and electrical field model, it has been found that the magnitude and direction of the force can be expressed through the voltage relationship of the four electrodes when the magnitude of the shear force remains constant and its direction varies within 0-360°. The experimental results show that a resolution of 15° can be achieved in the range 0-90°. Additionally, we installed the sensor on a robotic hand, enabling it to perceive the magnitude and direction of touch and grasp actions. Based on this, the designed 3D flexible tactile force sensor provides valuable insights for multidimensional force detection and applications.

Abstract
The flexible bimodal e-skin exhibits significant promise for integration into the next iteration of human-computer interactions, owing to the integration of tactile and proximity perception. However, those challenges, such as low tactile sensitivity, complex fabrication processes, and incompatibility with bimodal interactions, have restricted the widespread adoption of bimodal e-skin. Herein, a bimodal capacitive e-skin capable of simultaneous tactile and proximity sensing has been developed. The entire process eliminates intricate fabrication techniques, employing DLP-3D printing for the electrode layers and sacrificial templating for the dielectric layers, conferring high tactile sensitivity (1.672 kPa-1) and rapid response capability (∼30 ms) to the bimodal e-skin. Moreover, exploiting the "fringing electric field" effect inherent in parallel-plate capacitors has facilitated touchless sensing, thereby enabling static distance recognition and dynamic gesture recognition of varying materials. Interestingly, an e-skin sensing array was created to identify the positions and pressure levels of various objects of different masses. Furthermore, with the aid of machine learning techniques, an artificial neural network has been established to possess intelligent object recognition capabilities, facilitating the identification, classification, and training of various object configurations. The advantages of the bimodal e-skin render it highly promising for extensive applications in the field of next-generation human-machine interaction.

Abstract
The flexibility and adaptability of soft robots enable them to perform various tasks in changing environments, such as flower picking, fruit harvesting, in vivo targeted treatment, and information feedback. However, these fulfilled functions are discrepant, based on the varied working environments, driving methods, and materials. To further understand the working principle and research emphasis of soft robots, this paper summarized the current research status of soft robots from the aspects of actuating methods (e.g., humidity, temperature, PH, electricity, pressure, magnetic field, light, biological, and hybrid drive), materials (like hydrogels, shape-memory materials, and other flexible materials) and application areas (camouflage, medical devices, electrical equipment, and grippers, etc.). Finally, we provided some opinions on the technical difficulties and challenges of soft robots to comprehensively comprehend soft robots, lucubrate their applications, and improve the quality of our lives.

Abstract
Flexible foam-based sensors have attracted substantial interest due to their high specific surface area, light weight, superior deformability, and ease of manufacture. However, it is still a challenge to integrate multimodal stimuli-responsiveness, high sensitivity, reliable stability, and good biocompatibility into a single foam sensor. To achieve this, a magnetoresistive foam sensor was fabricated by an in situ freezing-polymerization strategy based on the interpenetrating networks of sodium alginate, poly(vinyl alcohol) in conjunction with glycerol, and physical reinforcement of core-shell bidisperse magnetic particles. The assembled sensor exhibited preferable magnetic/strain-sensing capability (GF ≈ 0.41 T-1 for magnetic field, 4.305 for tension, -0.735 for bending, and -1.345 for pressing), quick response time, and reliable durability up to 6000 cycles under external stimuli. Importantly, a machine learning algorithm was developed to identify the encryption information, enabling high recognition accuracies of 99.22% and 99.34%. Moreover, they could be employed as health systems to detect human physiological motion and integrated as smart sensor arrays to perceive external pressure/magnetic field distributions. This work provides a simple and ecofriendly strategy to fabricate biocompatible foam-based multimodal sensors with potential applications in next-generation soft electronics.

Abstract
The evolution of bionic machines into intelligent robots to adapt to real scenarios is inseparable from positioning sensors. However, traditional positioning methods such as camera arrays, ultrasound, or GPS are limited in narrow concealed spaces, harsh temperatures, or dynamic light fields, which hinder the practical application of special robots. Here, we report a flexible sensor inspired by Gnathonemus petersii that enables robots to achieve contactless and high-precision spatial localization independent of the unstructured features of the environment. Sensors are obtained from low-cost materials (carbon nanotubes and polyimides) and simple structures (fibers) and preparation processes (spin-coating). Experiments and simulations confirmed the high resolution (<1 mm) of the sensor over a large distance detection range (>150 mm) and high bandwidth (0-520 MPa) of contact force. Moreover, the sensing capability is still feasible when the sensor is bent to various curvatures and not affected under harsh conditions such as ultralow temperatures (below -78 °C), ultrahigh temperatures (over 250 °C), darkness, or brightness. We demonstrate the practical potential of the proposed sensors for a biomimetic hyper-redundant continuum robot to locate and avoid collisions in unstructured environments.

Abstract
Flexible nanofiber membranes are compelling materials for the development of functional multi-mode sensors; however, their essential features such as high cross-sensitivity, reliable stability and signal discrimination capability have rarely been realized simultaneously in one sensor. Here, a novel multi-mode sensor with a nanofiber membrane structure based on multiple interpenetrating networks of bidisperse magnetic particles, sodium alginate (SA), chitosan (CHI) in conjunction with polyethylene oxide hydrogels was prepared in a controllable electrospinning technology. Specifically, the morphology distributions of nanofibers could be regulated by the crosslinking degree of the interpenetrating networks and the spinning process parameters. The incorporation of SA and CHI endowed the sensor with desirable flexibility, ideal biocompatibility and skin-friendly property. Besides, the assembled sensors not only displayed preferable magnetic sensitivity of 0.34 T-1 and reliable stability, but also exhibited favorable cross-sensitivity, quick response time, and long-term durability for over 5000 cycles under various mechanical stimuli. Importantly, the multi-mode stimuli could be discriminated via producing opposite electrical signals. Furthermore, based on the signal distinguishability of the sensor, a wearable Morse code translation system assisted by the machine learning algorithm was demonstrated, enabling a high recognizing accuracy (>99.1 %) for input letters and numbers information. Due to the excellent multifunctional sensing characteristics, we believe that the sensor will have a high potential in wearable soft electronics and human-machine interactions.

Abstract
The research on proximity sensing electronic skin has garnered significant attention. This electronic skin technology enables detection without physical contact and holds vast application prospects in areas such as human-robot collaboration, human-machine interfaces, and remote monitoring. Especially in the context of the spread of infectious diseases like COVID-19, there is a pressing need for non-contact detection to ensure safe and hygienic operations. This article comprehensively reviews the significant advancements in the field of proximity sensing electronic skin technology in recent years. It covers the principles, as well as single-type proximity sensors with characteristics such as a large area, multifunctionality, strain, and self-healing capabilities. Additionally, it delves into the research progress of dual-type proximity sensors. Furthermore, the article places a special emphasis on the widespread applications of flexible proximity sensors in human-robot collaboration, human-machine interfaces, and remote monitoring, highlighting their importance and potential value across various domains. Finally, the paper provides insights into future advancements in flexible proximity sensor technology.

Abstract
The recent development of wearable devices is revolutionizing the way of human-machine interaction (HMI). Nowadays, an interactive interface that carries more embedded information is desired to fulfill the increasing demand in era of Internet of Things. However, present approach normally relies on sensor arrays for memory expansion, which inevitably brings the concern of wiring complexity, signal differentiation, power consumption, and miniaturization. Herein, a one-channel based self-powered HMI interface, which uses the eigenfrequency of magnetized micropillar (MMP) as identification mechanism, is reported. When manually vibrated, the inherent recovery of the MMP causes a damped oscillation that generates current signals because of Faraday's Law of induction. The time-to-frequency conversion explores the MMP-related eigenfrequency, which provides a specific solution to allocate diverse commands in an interference-free behavior even with one electric channel. A cylindrical cantilever model is built to regulate the MMP eigenfrequencies via precisely designing the dimensional parameters and material properties. It is shown that using one device and two electrodes, high-capacity HMI interface can be realized when the magnetic micropillars (MMPs) with different eigenfrequencies have been integrated. This study provides the reference value to design the future HMI system especially for situations that require a more intuitive and intelligent communication experience with high-memory demand.

Abstract
Tactile sensors play an important role in human-machine interaction (HMI). Compared to contact tactile sensing, which leaves physical hardware vulnerable to wear and tear, proximity sensing is better at reacting to remote events before physical contact. The apteronotus albifrons possess ion channel receptors for remote surroundings perception. Inspired by the relevant ion channel structure and self-powered operation mode, we designed a new proximity sensor with ion rectification characteristics and self-powered capability. This bio-inspired ion channel receptor exploits the hygroelectric effect to convert the humidity information into a series of current signals when the living organism approaches, and it is insensitive to non-aquatic non-organisms. The sensor offers high sensitivity (2.3 mm-1), a suitable range (0-10 mm) for close object detection, fast response (0.3 s), and fast recovery (2.5 s). The unique combination of bio-sensitivity, non-contact detection characteristics, and humidity-based power generation capabilities enriches the functionality of future HMI electronics. As a proof of concept, the sensor has been successfully applied in different scenarios such as human health management, early warning systems, non-contact switches to prevent virus transmission, object recognition, and finger trajectory detection.

Abstract
Surfaces with high aspect ratio microarray structures can implement sophisticated assignment in typical fields including microfluidics, sensor, biomedicine, et al. via regulating their deformation or the material properties. Inspired by natural materials and systems, for example sea cockroaches, water spiders, cacti, lotus leaves, rice leaves, and cedar leaves, many researchers have focused on microneedle functional surface studies. When the surface with high aspect ratio microarray structures is stimulated by the external fields, such as optical, electric, thermal, magnetic, the high aspect ratio microarray structures can undergo hydrophilic and hydrophobic switching or shape change, which may be gifted the surfaces with the ability to perform complex task, including directional liquid/air transport, targeted drug delivery, microfluidic chip sensing. In this review, the fabrication principles of various surfaces with high aspect ratio microarray structures are classified and summarized. Mechanisms of liquid manipulation on hydrophilic/hydrophobic surfaces with high aspect ratio microarray structures are clarified based on Wenzel model, Cassie model, Laplace pressure theories and so on. Then the intelligent control strategies have been demonstrated. The applications in microfluidic, drug delivery, patch sensors have been discussed. Finally, current challenges and new insights of future prospects for dynamic manipulation of liquid/air based on biomimetic surface with high aspect ratio microarray structures are also addressed.

Abstract
Haptic human-machine interfaces (HHMIs) combine tactile sensation and haptic feedback to allow humans to interact closely with machines and robots, providing immersive experiences and convenient lifestyles. Significant progress has been made in developing wearable sensors that accurately detect physical and electrophysiological stimuli with improved softness, functionality, reliability, and selectivity. In addition, soft actuating systems have been developed to provide high-quality haptic feedback by precisely controlling force, displacement, frequency, and spatial resolution. In this Review, we discuss the latest technological advances of soft sensors and actuators for the demonstration of wearable HHMIs. We particularly focus on highlighting material and structural approaches that enable desired sensing and feedback properties necessary for effective wearable HHMIs. Furthermore, promising practical applications of current HHMI technology in various areas such as the metaverse, robotics, and user-interactive devices are discussed in detail. Finally, this Review further concludes by discussing the outlook for next-generation HHMI technology.

Abstract
The rise of touchless technology, driven by the recent pandemic, has transformed human-machine interaction (HMI). Projections indicate a substantial growth in the touchless technology market, nearly tripling from $13.6 billion in 2021 to an estimated $37.6 billion by 2026. In response to the pandemic-driven shift towards touchless technology, here we show an organic cage-based humidity sensor with remarkable humidity responsiveness, forming the basis for advanced touchless platforms in potential future HMI systems. This cage sensor boasts an ultrafast response/recovery time (1 s/3 s) and exceptional stability (over 800 cycles) across relative humidity (RH) changes from 11% to 95%. The crystal structure's 3D pore network and luxuriant water-absorbing functional groups both inside and outside of the cage contribute synergistically to superior humidity sensing. Demonstrating versatility, we showcase this cage in smart touchless control screens and touchless password managers, presenting cost-effective and easily processable applications of molecularly porous materials in touchless HMI.

Abstract
Drawing inspiration from origami structures, a pressure sensor was developed with unique interconnection scaling at its creases crafted on a conductive paper substrate, paving the way for advanced wearable technology. Two screen-printed conductive paper substrates were combined face-to-face, and specific folds were introduced to optimize the sensor structure. The Electrical Contact Resistance (ECR) was systematically analyzed across different fold numbers and crease gaps, revealing a notable trade-off: while increasing the number of folds expanded the sensing area, it also influenced the ECR, reaching a performance plateau. Strategic modifications in the sensor's design, including refining interconnections at the crease, enhanced its sensitivity and stability, culminating in a remarkable sensitivity of 3.75 kPa-1 at subtle pressure levels (0-0.05 kPa). This sensor's real-world applications proved to be transformative, from detecting bruxism and aiding in neck posture correction to remotely sensing trigger finger locking phenomena, highlighting its potential as a pivotal tool in upcoming medical diagnostics and treatments.

Abstract
Soft robots are characterized by their mechanical compliance, making them well-suited for various bio-inspired applications. However, the challenge of preserving their flexibility during deployment has necessitated using soft sensors which can enhance their mobility, energy efficiency, and spatial adaptability. Through emulating the structure, strategies, and working principles of human senses, soft robots can detect stimuli without direct contact with soft touchless sensors and tactile stimuli. This has resulted in noteworthy progress within the field of soft robotics. Nevertheless, soft, touchless sensors offer the advantage of non-invasive sensing and gripping without the drawbacks linked to physical contact. Consequently, the popularity of soft touchless sensors has grown in recent years, as they facilitate intuitive and safe interactions with humans, other robots, and the surrounding environment. This review explores the emerging confluence of touchless sensing and soft robotics, outlining a roadmap for deployable soft robots to achieve human-level dexterity.

Abstract
The functional flexible sensors that can simultaneously detect multiple external excitations have exhibited great potential in the human-machine interaction and wearable electronics. However, it is still a primary challenge to develop a multi-mode sensor that can achieve sensitivity equilibrium towards different stimuli, and effectively recognize external stimulus while in a facile and cost-effective material and methodology. This study presented a functional flexible sensor based on natural polymer sodium alginate and gelatin sponge electrode which could detect both external mechanical and magnetic stimuli with superiorities of outstanding sensing capability and stability. With the optimal multilayered structure, it possessed high magnetic responsive sensitivity of 0.45 T-1, excellent stability and recoverability. Its electrical property variations also displayed high sensitivity and durability under cyclic stretching, bending and compressing stimuli for 1000 cycles. More importantly, the sensor could not only respond to magnetic field and compression stimuli with contrary electrical responses, but also recognize the respective input signals to decouple different stimuli in real time. Furthermore, it was developed as electronic skins and smart sensor arrays for human physiological signals and mechanical-magnetic detection. Based on excellent multifunctional response characteristics, the sensor showed significant potential in next-generation intelligent multifunctional electronic system and artificial intelligence.

Abstract
The rapid development of artificial intelligent wearable devices has led to an increasing need for seamless information exchange between humans, machines, and virtual spaces, often relying on touch sensors as the primary interaction medium. Additionally, the demand for underwater detection technologies is on the rise owing to the prevalent wet and submerged environment. Here, a fiber-based capacitive sensor with superior stretchability and hydrophobicity is proposed, designed to cater to noncontact and underwater applications. The sensor is constructed using bacterial cellulose (BC)@BC/carbon nanotubes (CNTs) (BBT) helical fiber as the matrix and methyltrimethoxysilane (MTMS) as the hydrophobic modified agent, forming a hydrophobic silylated BC@BC/CNT (SBBT) helical fiber by the chemical vapor deposition (CVD) technique. These fibers exhibit an impressive contact angle of 132.8°. The SBBT helicalfiber-based capacitive sensor presents capabilities for both noncontact and underwater sensing, which exhibits a significant capacitance change of -0.27 (at a distance of 0.5 cm). We have achieved interactive control between real space and virtual space through intelligent data analysis technology with minimal interference from the presence of water. This work has laid a solid foundation of noncontact sensing with attributes such as degradability, stretchability, and hydrophobicity. Moreover, it offers promising solutions for barrier-free communication in virtual reality (VR) and underwater applications, providing avenues for smart human-machine interfaces for submerged use.

Abstract
As an advanced sensing technology, dual-mode flexible sensing, integrating both tactile and touchless perception, propels numerous intelligent devices toward a more practical and efficient direction. The ability to incorporate multiple sensing modes and accurately distinguish them in real time has become crucial for technological advancements. Here, we proposed a dual-mode sensing system (B-MIGS) consisting of a dual-layer sensing device with a magnetically induced grid structure and a testing device. The system was capable of utilizing mechanical pressure to perceive tactile stimulation and magnetic sensing to simultaneously transduce touchless stimulation simultaneously. By leveraging the triboelectric effect, the decoupling of tactile and touchless signals in the presence of unknown signal sources was achieved. Additionally, the sensing characteristics of the B-MIGS were optimized by varying the curing magnetic induction intensity and magnetic particle concentration. The influence of the temperature and humidity on the sensing signals was also discussed. Finally, the practical value of the B-MIGS as a dual-mode monitoring system was demonstrated on soft petals and sensor arrays, along with exploration of its potential application in underwater environments.

Abstract
Noncontact human-machine interactions (HMIs) provide a hygienic and intelligent approach to communicate between humans and machines. However, current noncontact HMIs are generally hampered by the interaction distance, and they lack the adaptability to environmental interference such as high humidity conditions. Here, we explore a self-powered electret-based noncontact sensor (ENS) with moisture-resisting ability and ultrawide sensing range exceeding 2.5 m. A megascopic air-bubble structure is designed to enhance charge-storage stability and charge-recovery ability of the ENS based on the heterocharge-synergy effect in electrets. Besides, multilayer electret films are introduced to strengthen the electric field by utilizing the electrostatic field superposition effect. Thanks to the above improved performances of the ENS, we demonstrate various noncontact HMI applications in harsh environments, including noncontact appliances, a moving trajectory and accidental fall tracking system, and a real-time machine learning-assisted gesture recognition system with accuracy as high as 99.21%. This research expands the way for noncontact sensor design and may further broaden applications in noncontact HMIs.

Abstract
Soft and stretchable force sensors are widely used for health monitoring, robotics, prosthetics, and other applications. Soft force sensors with the capability of measuring both normal and shear force could offer even greater functionality and provide more information, particularly in the field of biomechanics. In this work, a new solid-state force sensor is proposed that can measure both normal and shear forces at the same time. The soft and stretchable sensor was fabricated using an ionic liquid (IL)/polymer network. Two separate IL-based polymer membranes were used to detect normal and shear forces. Sensor architecture and electrical wiring for normal, shear, and combined sensing were developed, and various material compositions for different sensor layers were investigated to find the combination that could achieve the optimum sensor performance. A basic material formulation for carbon nanotube-based electrodes, the IL/polymer network, and polymeric insulation layers was proposed. To configure a combined (normal and shear) sensor, separate sensors for normal and shear deformations were first designed and investigated. Later, a combined sensor was fabricated using a mold via screen printing, photocuring, and thermal curing. The combined sensor was evaluated under different force conditions. The results show that the sensor can reliably measure normal and shear forces. Moreover, the findings demonstrate a way to successfully modulate the sensitivity for normal and shear sensing by varying the material composition or geometric configuration, which provides flexibility for application-specific designs.

Abstract
The development of wearable and implantable bioelectronics has garnered significant momentum in recent years, driven by the ever-increasing demand for personalized health monitoring, remote patient management, and real-time physiological data collection. The elevated sophistication and advancement of these devices have thus led to the use of many new and unconventional materials which cannot be fulfilled through traditional manufacturing techniques. Three-dimension (3D) printing, also known as additive manufacturing, is an emerging technology that opens new opportunities to fabricate next-generation bioelectronic devices. Some significant advantages include its capacity for material versatility and design freedom, rapid prototyping, and manufacturing efficiency with enhanced capabilities. This review provides an overview of the recent advances in 3D printing of bioelectronics, particularly direct ink writing (DIW), encompassing the methodologies, materials, and applications that have emerged in this rapidly evolving field. This review showcases the broad range of bioelectronic devices fabricated through 3D printing including wearable biophysical sensors, biochemical sensors, electrophysiological sensors, energy devices, multimodal systems, implantable devices, and soft robots. This review will also discuss the advantages, existing challenges, and outlook of applying DIW 3D printing for the development of bioelectronic devices toward healthcare applications.

Abstract
Advancements in intelligent robots and human-machine interaction necessitate a shift in artificial skins toward multimodal perception. Dual-responsive skins that can detect proximity and pressure information are significant to establishing continuous sensing of interaction processes and extending interactive application scenarios. To address the current limitations of inadequate dual-mode performance, such as limited proximal response change and low tactile sensitivity, this paper presents a bioinspired complementary gradient architecture-enabled (CGA) transduction design and a high-performance dual-responsive skin based on coplanar square-loop electrodes. Through systematic investigation into the transduction of various electrode configurations, comparative results reveal the remarkable potential of coplanar electrodes to deliver superior dual-mode performance without compromise. Simulations and experiments prove that the proposed CGA response mechanism can capture local interface deformation and overall compression signals, further enhancing response sensitivity. The final developed artificial skin is sensitive to external pressure and the approach of objects simultaneously, exhibiting a long detection distance (∼40 mm), a high proximity response (>0.4), and outstanding touch sensitivity (0.131 kPa-1). Furthermore, we demonstrate proof-of-concept applications for the proposed sensing skin in a dual-mode teleoperation interface and adaptive grasping interactions.

Abstract
Touchless perception technology allows us to acquire information beyond the contact interfaces, making it ideal for scenarios where physical engagements are not possible. Unlike tactile devices, which have so far achieved impressive results, touchless strategies are fascinating yet underdeveloped. We envisage that touchless technologies could be powerful supplements to current haptics. In this Perspective, we include emerging touchless electronics, aiming to provide a broader and comprehensive picture toward artificial perceptual realm. We overview popular touchless protocols, sketch what could be detected by touchless probing, and summarize their latest spectacular achievements. In addition, we present the promises and challenges posed by touchless technologies and discuss possible directions for their future deployments.

Abstract
Flexible tactile sensors show great potential for portable healthcare and environmental monitoring applications. However, challenges persist in scaling up the manufacturing of stable tactile sensors with real-time feedback. This work demonstrates a robust approach to fabricating templated laser-induced graphene (TLIG)-based tactile sensors via laser scribing, elastomer hot-pressing transfer, and 3D printing of the Ag electrode. With different mesh sandpapers as templates, TLIG sensors with adjustable sensing properties were achieved. The tactile sensor obtains excellent sensitivity (52260.2 kPa-1 at a range of 0-7 kPa), a broad detection range (up to 1000 kPa), a low limit of detection (65 Pa), a rapid response (response/recovery time of 12/46 ms), and excellent working stability (10000 cycles). Benefiting from TLIG's high performance and waterproofness, TLIG sensors can be used as health monitors and even in underwater scenarios. TLIG sensors can also be integrated into arrays acting as receptors of the soft robotic gripper. Furthermore, a deep neural network based on the convolutional neural network was employed for texture recognition via a soft TLIG tactile sensing array, achieving an overall classification rate of 94.51% on objects with varying surface roughness, thus offering high accuracy in real-time practical scenarios.

Abstract
The sense of touch is critical to dexterous use of the hands and thus an essential component of efforts to restore hand function after amputation or paralysis. Prosthetic systems have addressed this goal with wearable tactile sensors. However, such wearable sensors are suboptimal for neuroprosthetic systems designed to reanimate a patient's own paralyzed hand. Here, we developed an implantable tactile sensing system intended for subdermal placement. The system is composed of a microfabricated capacitive pressure sensor, a custom integrated circuit supporting wireless powering and data transmission, and a laser-fused hermetic silica package. The miniature device was validated through simulations, benchtop assessment, and testing in a primate hand. The sensor implanted in the fingertip accurately measured applied skin forces with a resolution of 4.3 mN. The output from this novel sensor could be encoded in the brain with microstimulation to provide tactile feedback. More broadly, the materials, system design, and fabrication approach establish new foundational capabilities for various applications of implantable sensing systems.

Abstract
The sense of touch events, achieved by artificial tactile sensory systems (ATSSs), is a milestone in the progress of human-machine interactions. However, it has been a challenge for ATSSs to serve functions comparable with the human tactile perception system (HTPS). The biomimetic strategies and technologies inspired by HTPS are considered an optimal solution to this challenge. Recent studies have reported bioinspired strategies for improving specific aspects of ATSS performance, such as feature collection, signal conversion, and information computation. Here, we present a systematic interpretation of biomechanisms for HTPSs, and correspondingly, address biomimetic strategies and technologies contributing to ATSSs as an integral system. This review will benefit the development and application of ATSSs in the future.

Abstract
Flexible wearable devices have been widely used in biomedical applications, the Internet of Things, and other fields, attracting the attention of many researchers. The physiological and biochemical information on the human body reflects various health states, providing essential data for human health examination and personalized medical treatment. Meanwhile, physiological and biochemical information reveals the moving state and position of the human body, and it is the data basis for realizing human-computer interactions. Flexible wearable physiological and biochemical sensors provide real-time, human-friendly monitoring because of their light weight, wearability, and high flexibility. This paper reviews the latest advancements, strategies, and technologies of flexibly wearable physiological and biochemical sensors (pressure, strain, humidity, saliva, sweat, and tears). Next, we systematically summarize the integration principles of flexible physiological and biochemical sensors with the current research progress. Finally, important directions and challenges of physiological, biochemical, and multimodal sensors are proposed to realize their potential applications for human movement, health monitoring, and personalized medicine.

Abstract
The progress from intelligent interactions and supplemented/augmented reality requires artificial skins to shift from the single-functional tactile paradigm. Dual-responsive sensors that can both detect pre-contact proximal events and tactile pressure levels enrich the perception dimensions and deliver additional cognitive information. Previous dual-responsive sensors show very limited utilizations only in proximity perception or approaching switches. Whereas, the approaching inputs from the environment should be able to convey more valuable messages. Herein, a flexible iontronic dual-responsive artificial skin is present. The artificial skin is sensitive to external object's applied pressure as well as its approaching, and can elicit information of target material categories encoded in the proximal inputs. Versatile applications are then demonstrated. Dual-mode human-machine interfaces are developed based on the devices, including a manipulation of virtual game characters, navigation and zooming in of electronic maps, and scrolling through electronic documents. More importantly, the proof-of-concept application of an entirely touchless material classification system is demonstrated. Three types of materials (metals, polymers, and human skins) are classified and predicted accurately. These features of the artificial skin make it highly promising for next-generation smart engineered electronics.

Abstract
With the merits of high sensitivity, high stability, high flexibility, low cost, and simple manufacturing, flexible magnetic field sensors have potential applications in various fields such as geomagnetosensitive E-Skins, magnetoelectric compass, and non-contact interactive platforms. Based on the principles of various magnetic field sensors, this paper introduces the research progress of flexible magnetic field sensors, including the preparation, performance, related applications, etc. In addition, the prospects of flexible magnetic field sensors and their challenges are presented.

Abstract
Human-Machine Interface (HMI) plays a key role in the interaction between people and machines, which allows people to easily and intuitively control the machine and immersively experience the virtual world of the meta-universe by virtual reality/augmented reality (VR/AR) technology. Currently, wearable skin-integrated tactile and force sensors are widely used in immersive human-machine interactions due to their ultra-thin, ultra-soft, conformal characteristics. In this paper, the recent progress of tactile and force sensors used in HMI are reviewed, including piezoresistive, capacitive, piezoelectric, triboelectric, and other sensors. Then, this paper discusses how to improve the performance of tactile and force sensors for HMI. Next, this paper summarizes the HMI for dexterous robotic manipulation and VR/AR applications. Finally, this paper summarizes and proposes the future development trend of HMI.

Abstract
Metallic micro/nano structures with special physicochemical properties have undergone rapid development owing to their broad applications in micromachines and microdevices. Ultrafast laser processing is generally accepted as an effective technology for functional structures manufacture, however, the controllable fabrication of specific metallic micro/nano structures remains a challenge. Here, this work proposes a novel strategy of laser induced transient solid-liquid transition to fabricate unique structures. Through modulating the transient state of metal from solid to liquid phase using the initial pulse excitation, the subsequent ultrafast pulse-induced recoil pressure can suppress the plasma emission and removal of liquid phase metals, resulting in the controllable fabrication of coffee-ring structures. The solid-liquid transition dynamics, which related with the transient reflectivity and plasma intensity, are revealed by established two temperature model coupled with molecular dynamics model. The coffee-ring structure exhibits tunable structure color owing to various optical response, which can be used for color printing with large scale and high resolution. This work provides a promising strategy for fabricating functional micro/nano structures, which can greatly broaden the potential applications.

Abstract
Inspired by the concept of bionics, a tactile and airflow motion sensor based on flexible double-layer magnetic cilia is developed, showing extremely high sensitivity in both force and airflow detection. The upper layer of the magnetic cilia is a flexible material mixed with magnetic particles, while the lower layer is a pure flexible material. This double-layer structure significantly improves magnetism while maintaining cilia flexibility. In addition, a metal tube pressing (MTP) method is proposed to overcome the difficulties in preparing large aspect ratio (over 30:1) cilia, offering simplicity and avoiding the use of large-scale MEMS instruments. The developed sensor has a detection range between 0 and 60 µN with a resolution of 2.1 µN for micro forces. It also shows great detection ability for airflow velocity with a sensitivity of 1.43 µT/(m/s). Experiments show that the sensor could be applied in surface roughness characterization and sleep apnea monitoring.
