Safety and efficacy of obinutuzumab with CHOP or bendamustine in previously untreated follicular lymphoma

Pathogenesis and management of immune dysfunction secondary to B cell haematological malignancies

Malignancies of the B-lymphocyte lineage are among the most diagnosed haematological malignancies in clinical practice. In our community, multiple myeloma (MM) and its precursor condition monoclonal gammopathy of undetermined significance are the commonest, accounting for ~12% of diagnoses, followed by chronic lymphocytic leukaemia (CLL) and its precursor condition monoclonal B lymphocytosis, ~9%. Along with diffuse large B cell lymphoma, follicular lymphoma and marginal zone lymphoma, these conditions comprise around a third of all haematological malignancies diagnosed. Infection remains an important cause of mortality and morbidity in the management of patients with these conditions. This is in part treatment-related but also reflective of disease-related immune dysfunction. Infectious complications account for up to 50% of early mortality in patients with myeloma and up to 50% of all mortality in patients with CLL. A variety of strategies are available to decrease the morbidity and mortality of infectious complications; however, practices vary between countries and often between treating physicians. Treatment options have evolved significantly over the last decade, with the introduction of monoclonal antibodies, small molecule inhibitors, second- and third-generation immunomodulatory agents and CAR-T cell therapy. Much of the data that inform clinical practice in infection management predates current therapeutic approaches. This is in part because of the rapid development of new therapies but also reflective of the long natural history of many of these diseases and the need for prolonged periods of observation. In this article, we review the aspects of disease and treatment that contribute to immune dysfunction in MM, CLL and B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma and review the current strategies used to manage immune dysfunction and infection.

Estimating the Burden of Illness of Relapsed Follicular Lymphoma and Marginal Zone Lymphoma in Ontario, Canada

BACKGROUND

Many patients with advanced follicular lymphoma (FL) and marginal zone lymphoma (MZL) relapse after first-line chemotherapy.

OBJECTIVE

To examine healthcare resource utilization (HCRU) and cost, treatment patterns, progression, and survival of patients with FL and MZL who relapse after first-line treatment, in Ontario, Canada.

METHODS

A retrospective, administrative data study identified patients with relapsed FL and MZL (1 January 2005-31 December 2018). Patients were followed for up to three years post relapse to assess HCRU, healthcare costs, time to next treatment (TTNT), and overall survival (OS), stratified by first- and second-line treatment.

RESULTS

The study identified 285 FL and 68 MZL cases who relapsed after first-line treatment. Average duration of first-line treatment was 12.4 and 13.4 months for FL and MZL patients, respectively. Drug (35.9%) and cancer clinic costs (28.1%) were major contributors to higher costs in year 1. Three-year OS was 83.9% after FL and 74.2% after MZL relapse. No statistically significant differences were observed in TTNT and OS between patients with FL who received R-CHOP/R-CVP/BR in the first line only versus both the first- and second- line. A total of 31% of FL and 34% of MZL patients progressed to third-line treatment within three years of initial relapse.

CONCLUSION

Relapsing and remitting nature of FL and MZL in a subset of patients results in substantial burden to patients and the healthcare system.

Comparative analysis of rituximab or obinutuzumab combined with CHOP in first-line treatment of follicular lymphoma

Purpose

Rituximab (R) or obinutuzumab (G) combined with CHOP chemotherapy are used in previously untreated follicular lymphoma (FL). The aim is to compare in real life setting the efficacy and safety of these therapeutic strategies and assess the economic impact of introducing G.

Methods

This retrospective study, performed in 3 centers, included data from all patients who received R-CHOP or G-CHOP for previous untreated FL from June 1st, 2016 to December 31st, 2020. Progression-Free Survival (PFS) were estimated according to the Kaplan–Meier method. A budgetary impact model was performed from the French health care system’s perspective.

Results

N = 124 patients were included (58 G-CHOP; 66 R-CHOP). Fifty-one and 57 patients achieved a complete response at the end of induction in the G-CHOP and R-CHOP group, respectively. PFS was not significantly longer in the G-CHOP group (HR 0.28; 95% CI 0.08–0.97; p value = 0.14). Hematological toxicity occurred more frequently with G-CHOP than R-CHOP during induction treatment (n = 58; 100% vs. n = 61; 92%), including higher severe neutropenia (grade ≥ 3) (n = 26; 45% vs. n = 23; 35%). Infusion-related reactions during the first infusion occurred more frequently with G-CHOP (n = 19; 33% vs. n = 16; 24%). The introduction of a completed G treatment (induction and maintenance) results in an additional cumulative cost per patient estimated at more than €30,000.

Conclusion

Similar results were found in the GALLIUM subgroup analysis study, suggesting that at this time there is no absolute benefit to administer G-CHOP instead of R-CHOP in all patients with previously untreated FL and may encourage clinical and economic trials including quality of life data.

Practical guidance for the diagnosis and management of secondary hypogammaglobulinemia: A Work Group Report of the AAAAI Primary Immunodeficiency and Altered Immune Response Committees

Secondary hypogammaglobulinemia (SHG) is characterized by reduced immunoglobulin levels due to acquired causes of decreased antibody production or increased antibody loss. Clarification regarding whether the hypogammaglobulinemia is secondary or primary is important because this has implications for evaluation and management. Prior receipt of immunosuppressive medications and/or presence of conditions associated with SHG development, including protein loss syndromes, are histories that raise suspicion for SHG. In patients with these histories, a thorough investigation of potential etiologies of SHG reviewed in this report is needed to devise an effective treatment plan focused on removal of iatrogenic causes (eg, discontinuation of an offending drug) or treatment of the underlying condition (eg, management of nephrotic syndrome). When iatrogenic causes cannot be removed or underlying conditions cannot be reversed, therapeutic options are not clearly delineated but include heightened monitoring for clinical infections, supportive antimicrobials, and in some cases, immunoglobulin replacement therapy. This report serves to summarize the existing literature regarding immunosuppressive medications and populations (autoimmune, neurologic, hematologic/oncologic, pulmonary, posttransplant, protein-losing) associated with SHG and highlights key areas for future investigation.

Safety and efficacy of atezolizumab with obinutuzumab and bendamustine in previously untreated follicular lymphoma

Obinutuzumab (G) chemoimmunotherapy demonstrated improved progression-free survival (PFS) vs rituximab-based chemoimmunotherapy in patients with previously untreated follicular lymphoma (FL) in the GALLIUM trial. Atezolizumab (atezo) is a programmed death-ligand 1 inhibitor with a complementary mechanism of action to G by restoring cytotoxic T-cell function. We evaluated the safety and efficacy of atezo-G-bendamustine in patients with previously untreated FL in a phase Ib/II trial (#NCT02596971). A safety run-in phase was followed by an expansion phase with atezo-G-bendamustine induction and atezo-G maintenance for ≤24 months. Forty patients with previously untreated FL were enrolled and treated with atezo-G-bendamustine. The primary endpoint, complete response (CR) rate, assessed by an independent review committee (IRC; modified Lugano 2014 criteria) was 75.0% (95% confidence interval [CI], 61.3% to 85.8%). Three-year investigator-assessed PFS and overall survival rates were 80.9% (95% CI, 63.9% to 90.5%) and 89.3% (95% CI, 73.9% to 95.9%), respectively. At baseline, 21/40 patients had circulating lymphoma-specific clonotypes and underwent repeat testing at end of induction; all were minimal residual disease negative (10-5 sensitivity), with 16 (76.2%) CRs, 3 (14.3%) partial responses, and 2 (9.5%) with stable disease (IRC assessed). Grade 5 (fatal) adverse events (AEs) were reported in 5 patients. The efficacy of atezo-G-bendamustine in previously untreated FL did not appear superior to G-bendamustine efficacy as seen in the GALLIUM trial, and the addition of atezo to G-bendamustine was associated with an increased risk of AEs. Particularly due to the unfavorable safety profile, this regimen cannot be recommended in patients with previously untreated FL. This trial was registered at www.clinicaltrials.gov as #NCT02596971.

Successful Clearance of 300 Day SARS-CoV-2 Infection in a Subject with B-Cell Depletion Associated Prolonged (B-DEAP) COVID by REGEN-COV Anti-Spike Monoclonal Antibody Cocktail

A 59-year-old male with follicular lymphoma treated by anti-CD20-mediated B-cell depletion and ablative chemotherapy was hospitalized with a COVID-19 infection. Although the patient did not develop specific humoral immunity, he had a mild clinical course overall. The failure of all therapeutic options allowed infection to persist nearly 300 days with active accumulation of SARS-CoV-2 virus mutations. As a rescue therapy, an infusion of REGEN-COV (10933 and 10987) anti-spike monoclonal antibodies was performed 270 days from initial diagnosis. Due to partial clearance after the first dose (2.4 g), a consolidation dose (8 g) was infused six weeks later. Complete virus clearance could then be observed over the following month, after he was vaccinated with the Pfizer-BioNTech anti-COVID-19 vaccination. The successful management of this patient required prolonged enhanced quarantine, monitoring of virus mutations, pioneering clinical decisions based upon close consultation, and the coordination of multidisciplinary experts in virology, immunology, pharmacology, input from REGN, the FDA, the IRB, the health care team, the patient, and the patient's family. Current decisions to take revolve around patient's follicular lymphoma management, and monitoring for virus clearance persistence beyond disappearance of REGEN-COV monoclonal antibodies after anti-SARS-CoV-2 vaccination. Overall, specific guidelines for similar cases should be established.

Invasive Fungal Diseases in Children with Hematological Malignancies Treated with Therapies That Target Cell Surface Antigens: Monoclonal Antibodies, Immune Checkpoint Inhibitors and CAR T-Cell Therapies

Since 1985 when the first agent targeting antigens on the surface of lymphocytes was approved (muromonab-CD3), a multitude of such therapies have been used in children with hematologic malignancies. A detailed literature review until January 2021 was conducted regarding pediatric patient populations treated with agents that target CD2 (alefacept), CD3 (bispecific T-cell engager [BiTE] blinatumomab), CD19 (denintuzumab mafodotin, B43, BiTEs blinatumomab and DT2219ARL, the immunotoxin combotox, and chimeric antigen receptor [CAR] T-cell therapies tisagenlecleucel and axicabtagene ciloleucel), CD20 (rituximab and biosimilars, 90Y-ibritumomab tiuxetan, ofatumumab, and obinutuzumab), CD22 (epratuzumab, inotuzumab ozogamicin, moxetumomab pasudotox, BiTE DT2219ARL, and the immunotoxin combotox), CD25 (basiliximab and inolimomab), CD30 (brentuximab vedotin and iratumumab), CD33 (gemtuzumab ozogamicin), CD38 (daratumumab and isatuximab), CD52 (alemtuzumab), CD66b (90Y-labelled BW 250/183), CD248 (ontuxizumab) and immune checkpoint inhibitors against CTLA-4 (CD152; abatacept, ipilimumab and tremelimumab) or with PD-1/PD-L1 blockade (CD279/CD274; atezolizumab, avelumab, camrelizumab, durvalumab, nivolumab and pembrolizumab). The aim of this narrative review is to describe treatment-related invasive fungal diseases (IFDs) of each category of agents. IFDs are very common in patients under blinatumomab, inotuzumab ozogamicin, basiliximab, gemtuzumab ozogamicin, alemtuzumab, and tisagenlecleucel and uncommon in patients treated with moxetumomab pasudotox, brentuximab vedotin, abatacept, ipilimumab, pembrolizumab and avelumab. Although this new era of precision medicine shows promising outcomes of targeted therapies in children with leukemia or lymphoma, the results of this review stress the necessity for ongoing surveillance and suggest the need for antifungal prophylaxis in cases where IFDs are very common complications.

Prolonged viral shedding of SARS-CoV-2 in an immunocompromised patient

The duration of viral shedding of SARS-CoV-2 is usually less than 10 days. We experienced a COVID-19 case with prolonged viral shedding for 2 months. His cell mediated immunity has been depressed (CD4⁺T cell <100/μl) due to advanced malignant lymphoma and chemotherapy which had been completed 4 months prior to the onset of symptoms of COVID-19. We administered several treatments against COVID-19, however the results of Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) from nasopharyngeal specimens remained positive to SARS-CoV-2 for 2 months. Moreover, virus isolation assays performed on Day 59 also remained positive. He was finally discharged on Day 69 with two consecutive negative PCR results for SARS-CoV-2. Immunocompromised status may prolong viral shedding and it is therefore important for the clinician to take into account this when assessing such patients.

Front-line management of non-Hodgkin lymphoma in Australia. Part 1: follicular lymphoma

Outcomes with follicular lymphoma (FL) have improved in the modern era and median survival is now beyond 15 years. Therapeutic decisions need to consider this increased survival as well as recent clinical trial data and emerging treatments. In this context, we present here current approaches to front-line management of FL in Australia. Treatment choices depend on the disease stage, tumour burden, the patient's age, symptoms, comorbidities and preferences. Only about 10-15% of patients with FL are diagnosed with early stage disease. For patients with low-grade, early stage disease, radiotherapy (RT) is recommended. The addition of chemotherapy has been shown to increase progression-free survival (PFS) but without demonstrated overall survival advantage. For patients with low-tumour-burden, advanced-stage FL, immediate treatment may not be required and we recommend considering active monitoring. For stage III/IV disease that is symptomatic and/or with high tumour burden, established first-line treatment is chemotherapy in combination with rituximab, often followed by rituximab maintenance. The listing of bendamustine and now obinutuzumab on the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme has expanded the first-line treatment options in Australia to include bendamustine in combination with rituximab (without rituximab maintenance permitted) or with obinutuzumab plus 2 years obintuzumab maintenance. In the FL subgroup of the Study group indolent Lymphomas (StiL) trial, therapy with bendamustine plus rituximab significantly increased PFS compared with rituximab in combination with cyclophosphamide, doxorubicin, vincristine and prednisolone, without rituximab maintenance. Initial tolerability may be more favourable with bendamustine in combination with anti-CD20 antibody therapy than other therapies overall, but clinical vigilance is still required because of concerns of late infectious toxicities associated with prolonged T-cell depletion.

Role of obinutuzumab exposure on clinical outcome of follicular lymphoma treated with first-line immunochemotherapy

AIMS

Obinutuzumab (G) is a humanized type II, Fc-glycoengineered anti-CD20 monoclonal antibody used in various indications, including patients with previously untreated front-line follicular lymphoma. We investigated sources of variability in G exposure and association of progression-free survival (PFS) with average concentration over induction (C_meanIND ) in front-line follicular lymphoma patients treated with G plus chemotherapy (bendamustine, CHOP, or CVP) in the GALLIUM trial.

METHODS

Individual exposures (C_meanIND ) were obtained from a previously established population pharmacokinetic model updated with GALLIUM data. Multivariate Cox proportional hazard models and univariate Kaplan-Meier plots investigated relationships of PFS with exposure and other potential prognostic factors.

RESULTS

Overall, G exposure was lower in high body-weight patients and in males, and slightly lower in patients with high baseline tumour burden. Analysis of clinical outcomes showed that variability in G exposure did not impact PFS in G-bendamustine-treated patients; PFS was inferior in males and patients with FCGR2a/2b T232 T low-affinity receptor variant, and superior in patients with FCGR2a/2b I232T variant. In G-CHOP/CVP arms, PFS improved with increasing C_meanIND (hazard ratio = 1.74 and 0.394 at 5^th and 95^th percentile compared to median C_meanIND ) and was inferior in patients with high baseline tumour size and B symptoms.

CONCLUSIONS

It remains unclear whether for G-CHOP/CVP patients lower G exposure is a consequence of adverse disease biology and/or resistance to chemotherapy backbone (higher clearance in nonresponder patients, as demonstrated for rituximab) rather than being the cause of poorer clinical outcome. A study with >1 dose level of G could help resolve this uncertainty.

Improving CD20 antibody therapy: obinutuzumab in lymphoproliferative disorders

Soon after the anti-CD20 monoclonal antibody rituximab began to change the management of indolent and aggressive B cell lymphomas, development of alternative antibodies - including chemoimmunoconjugates - was undertaken. Among humanized and fully human CD20 antibodies, obinutuzumab has emerged as one antibody that seems to have lived up to the promise of improved efficacy based on in vitro and preclinical experiments. The data available, thus, far establish obinutuzumab's preferred role as the anti-CD20 antibody of choice in chronic lymphocytic leukemia and untreated follicular lymphoma, as well as an important addition to the treatment of rituximab-refractory indolent lymphomas. Additional trials in aggressive lymphoma are required to define the place of this new antibody in the management of patients with curable lymphoma subtypes. There are greater toxicities associated with this treatment, including increased infusion-related reactions and cytopenias, but these are manageable with standard supportive care measures.

Anti-CD20 monoclonal antibodies: reviewing a revolution

Since the inception of rituximab in the 1990s, anti-CD20 monoclonal antibodies have revolutionised the treatment of B cell hematological malignancies and have become a cornerstone of modern gold-standard practice. Additionally, the potent efficacy of these agents in depleting the B cell compartment has been used in the management of a broad array of autoimmune diseases. Multiple iterations of these agents have been investigated and are routinely used in clinical practice. In this review, we will discuss the physiology of CD20 and its attractiveness as a therapeutic target, as well as the pharmacology, pre-clinical and clinical data for the major anti-CD20 monoclonal antibodies: rituximab, obinutuzumab and ofatumumab.

Safety and efficacy of obinutuzumab in Chinese patients with B-cell lymphomas: a secondary analysis of the GERSHWIN trial

Background

Patients with relapsed/refractory B-cell lymphomas have limited treatment options. GERSHWIN is an open-label, single-arm, phase Ib study of obinutuzumab monotherapy in Chinese patients with histologically documented CD20⁺ relapsed/refractory chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL), diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL), or follicular lymphoma (FL). The primary outcome measure of pharmacokinetics has been previously reported. We now present data on the secondary endpoint measures (e.g., safety, and efficacy and pharmacodynamics).

Methods

Patients received 1000 mg obinutuzumab intravenously on days 1, 8, and 15 of cycle 1 (CLL patients; first dose split over 2 days), and on day 1 of cycles 2–8. Each cycle lasted for 21 days; the treatment period was 24 weeks. All subjects receiving at least one dose of obinutuzumab were included in the analysis of safety, efficacy, as well as pharmacodynamics.

Results

A total of 48 patients (> 18 years of age) were enrolled (CLL: 12; DLBCL: 23; FL: 13). The subjects received a median of two lines of anticancer treatment prior to the enrollment. Thirty-five patients (72.9%) had at least one adverse event (AE). The most frequent AE was infusion-related reactions (15 patients; 31.3%), followed by pyrexia (11 patients; 22.9%). Treatment-related AEs were reported in 28 patients (58.3%), and included one death (interstitial lung disease). End-of-treatment (EoT) response rate was 33.3%. Best overall response rate was 47.9%. Most CLL patients achieved a partial response at EoT (58.3%). CD19⁺ depletion occurred in 75.0% of the patients with CLL, and all patients with FL and DLBCL.

Conclusions

The safety and efficacy of obinutuzumab monotherapy in Chinese patients with B-cell lymphomas were similar to that observed in previous studies in non-Chinese patients; no new safety signals were observed.

ESCMID Study Group for Infections in Compromised Hosts (ESGICH) Consensus Document on the safety of targeted and biological therapies: an infectious diseases perspective (Agents targeting lymphoid cells surface antigens [I]: CD19, CD20 and CD52)

BACKGROUND

The present review is part of the ESCMID Study Group for Infections in Compromised Hosts (ESGICH) Consensus Document on the safety of targeted and biological therapies.

AIMS

To review, from an Infectious Diseases perspective, the safety profile of agents targeting CD19, CD20 and CD52 and to suggest preventive recommendations.

CONTENT

Although CD19-targeted agents (blinatumomab or inebilizumab) are not associated with an increased risk of infection, they may cause IgG hypogammaglobulinaemia and neutropenia. The requirement for prolonged intravenous infusion of blinatumomab may increase the risk of catheter-associated bloodstream infections. Infection remains the most common non-haematological adverse effect of anti-CD20 monoclonal antibodies, including severe respiratory tract infection, hepatitis B virus (HBV) reactivation and varicella-zoster virus infection. Screening for chronic or resolved HBV infection is recommended for patients receiving anti-CD20 monoclonal antibodies. Antiviral prophylaxis should be offered for 12-18 months to hepatitis B surface antigen (HBsAg)-positive and HBsAg-negative/anti-hepatitis B core antibody (HBc)-positive patients. Anti-Pneumocystis prophylaxis should be considered in patients receiving concomitant chemotherapy, particularly steroids. Alemtuzumab (anti-CD52) increases the risk of infections, in particular among leukaemia and solid organ transplant patients. These populations benefit from anti-Pneumocystis prophylaxis, prevention strategies for cytomegalovirus infection, and screening for HBV, hepatitis C virus and tuberculosis. Antiviral prophylaxis for at least 6-12 months should be provided for HBsAg-positive patients.

IMPLICATIONS

As there are limited clinical data for many of the reviewed agents, special attention must be given to promptly detect and report emerging infectious complications.

Impact of obinutuzumab alone and in combination for follicular lymphoma

Although rituximab-based chemoimmunotherapy prolongs the survival of patients with follicular lymphoma (FL), this disease is considered incurable in most patients. Thus, new therapies are needed not only for those in the relapsed/refractory setting, but also for initial treatment. Obinutuzumab (G, GA101) is a third-generation, fully humanized type II glycoengineered, anti-CD20 monoclonal antibody that results in increased direct cell death and antibody-dependent, cell-mediated cytotoxicity/phagocytosis compared to rituximab. Obinutuzumab has significant antitumor activity when used alone or in combinations in untreated or relapsed refractory FL patients. Studies have demonstrated its ability to prolong progression-free survival and, in some cases, overall survival, and to eliminate minimal residual disease. Several ongoing trials are investigating combinations with chemotherapy, immunomodulators, targeted drugs, and immunotherapy agents. G is generally well tolerated, with associated adverse effects including infusion-related reactions, neutropenia, thrombocytopenia, and reactivation of hepatitis B virus. Future studies with this antibody should focus on identifying predictive markers and developing chemotherapy-free combinations that will improve the outcome of patients with FL.

The clinical development of obinutuzumab for the treatment of follicular lymphoma

Impressive progress has been made in recent decades for advanced-stage follicular lymphoma with the availability of anti-CD20 monoclonal antibodies, initially rituximab and more recently obinutuzumab. Obinutuzumab is a unique, third-generation, fully humanized glycoengineered IgG1 type II anti-CD20 monoclonal antibody. It has been shown to have increased antitumor activity compared to rituximab in preclinical studies, including whole-blood B-cell depletion assays, xenograft models, and primate models. This has spurred on the development of obinutuzumab through Phase I/II trials as monotherapy and in combination with chemotherapeutic agents and other targeted therapies. Its efficacy compared to rituximab and in rituximab-refractory disease has led to its continued development and eventual approval for the treatment of follicular lymphoma. Here in this review, we highlight the design and development of obinutuzumab in the treatment of advanced stage grade 1-3A follicular lymphoma and its future directions.

Pharmacokinetics of obinutuzumab in Chinese patients with B-cell lymphomas

Aim

The Phase Ib GERSHWIN study (NCT01680991) assessed the pharmacokinetic (PK) profile of obinutuzumab following multiple intravenous (i.v.) doses to Chinese patients with B‐cell lymphomas, and compared findings with previous obinutuzumab PK studies in mainly Caucasian (non‐Chinese) patients.

Methods

GERSHWIN was an open‐label, single‐arm intervention study. Patients aged >18 years with CD20+ relapsed/refractory chronic lymphocytic leukaemia (CLL), diffuse large B‐cell lymphoma (DLBCL) or follicular lymphoma (FL) were enrolled from four centres in China. The treatment period was 24 weeks; patients received obinutuzumab 1000 mg i.v. on Days (D)1, 8 and 15 of Cycle (C)1 (CLL patients: first infusion split over 2 days) and on D1 of C2–8 (all cycles: 21 days). PK parameters were estimated using non‐compartmental analysis (NCA), and a population PK analysis was used to determine whether observed GERSHWIN PK data were in accordance with previous obinutuzumab PK studies in non‐Chinese patients.

Results

The PK analysis population included 48 patients: 28 patients completed all treatment cycles. NCA showed a similar PK profile in Chinese patients with FL, DLBCL and CLL. Steady‐state concentrations of obinutuzumab appeared to be reached at the start of C2 irrespective of histology. There was no apparent relationship between body weight and systemic exposure. Most PK profiles observed in GERSHWIN lay within the 90% prediction interval of simulated profiles.

Conclusions

Obinutuzumab exposure was comparable in CLL, DLBCL and FL patients. NCA and population PK analysis indicate that PK characteristics of Chinese patients with B‐cell lymphomas are similar to those in non‐Chinese patients.
