Abstract
Plant proteins have been increasingly used as sustainable substitutes for fish meal (FM) in aquafeeds; however, their high inclusion level compromises fish performance. The objective of this study was to examine whether yeast hydrolysate (YH) supplementation can improve the utilisation of high soybean meal (SM) diet and ameliorate its potential deteriorating impacts in pikeperch (Sander lucioperca). A basal diet was formulated using 44% FM, and four additional diets were produced by replacing 30 or 60% of FM with SM with or without the addition of 2% YH (FM, SM30, SM60, SM30 + YH, and SM60 + YH diets). Each diet was fed to three groups of fish (35.3 ± 0.10 g, 150 fish per group) to visual satiety four times daily for 70 days. Fish growth was not impacted by FM replacement level or YH application. However, SM60 group exhibited markedly higher feed conversion ratio and lower survival rate than those fed the FM- and YH-supplemented diets (P < 0.05). The highest and the lowest protein efficiency ratio values were obtained for the SM30 + YH and SM60 groups, respectively. Whole-body lipid content decreased in SM60 and SM60 + YH groups, and muscle lipid decreased in all the replacement groups. Serum triglyceride and glucose concentrations tended to decrease as FM replacement level increased. The highest alanine aminotransferase, aspartate aminotransferase (AST) and lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) activities were detected in the SM60 group, and YH addition significantly decreased the AST and LDH activities. Serum lysozyme activity decreased in SM30, SM60 and SM60 + YH groups. Serum myeloperoxidase and antiprotease activities decreased in SM60 group, and YH supplementation improved their activities. No effects of diets were observed on serum antioxidant parameters such as catalase activity and malondialdehyde concentration, and gut morphological indices. Number of goblet cells in midgut decreased by increasing the SM inclusion level and a slight improvement was observed by YH application. These findings suggest that YH supplementation has the potential to support the replacement of up to 60% FM with defatted SM in pikeperch feed without deteriorating growth, feed utilisation, and survival rate. Further, YH incorporation mitigated the damaging impacts of high SM diet on liver function and non-specific immune response.

Abstract
The aim of introducing occupational exposure limits (OELs) is to use them as a risk management tool in order to protect workers' health and well-being against harmful agents at the workplace. In this review we identify OELs for benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, xylene (BTEX), and styrene concentrations in air and assess occupational exposure to these compounds through a systematic literature search of publications published in West Asian countries from 1980 to 2021. OELs for BTEX and styrene have been set in Iran and Turkey to levels similar to those in European countries and the US. The search yielded 49 full-text articles that cover studies of exposure assessment in six countries, but most (n=40) regard Iran. Average occupational exposure to benzene of workers in oil-related industries is higher than recommended OEL, while average occupational exposure to other compounds is lower than local OELs (where they exist). Currently, information about levels of occupational exposure to BTEX and styrene is insufficient in West Asian countries, which should be remedied through OEL regulation and application. Furthermore, coherent research is also needed to determine actual levels of occupational exposure, dose-responses, and the economic and technical capacity of local industries to address current issues.

Abstract
The present study was performed to know the effects of chronic lead exposure on serum lipids, lipoproteins, and liver enzymes in a cohort study among of lead mine workers. We followed of 200 Iranian workers for 3- years (2018–2020), 100 of them with known occupational exposure to lead thorough their work in lead mine while the others 100 were with no such exposure. Blood lead level (BLL), serum lipids, lipoproteins, and liver enzymes of the exposure group for 3- years were measured and compared with those attained in the non-exposed workers. The BLL levels of the lead-mine workers were higher than with recommended level and the non-exposed group (24.15 and 6.35 µg/dL, respectively). The findings indicated a positive and significant relationship between BLL and lactate dehydrogenase, aspartate transaminase, alkaline phosphatase, alanine transaminase, and bilirubin levels (P < 0.01). Also while we found a negative and significant correlation between BLL and triglyceride, total protein, albumin, and globulin levels (P < 0.01). This report depicted that chronic lead exposure is a risk factor for hematological, liver, and cardiovascular diseases. Despite the fact that the level of liver function parameters was in the normal range, the results of 3- years follow-up show a significant relationship between BLL and alteration of biochemical parameters levels. Occupational exposure to lead can cause alter liver enzymes. LDH, AST, ALK, ALT, and bilirubin are increased due to chronic exposure to lead. Compare with non- exposure group, exposure group had a lower level of TG. Total protein, albumin, and globulin are decreased due to chronic exposure to lead. Occupational exposure to lead had no significant effect on BUN levels.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Occupational noise exposure in workplaces is the most common detrimental factor that has the greatest impact on the health of people working there. OBJECTIVE The aim of this study was to evaluate occupational noise exposure and its relation to the general health status in industrial workers in Sanandaj, Iran. METHODS This cross-sectional study was conducted on the general health of 500 male workers in Sanandaj using the General Health Questionnaire (GHQ-28). Likewise, occupational noise exposure was measured based on sound pressure level (SPL) and dosimetry in the work and rest conditions of workers. RESULTS The results showed poor general health status of workers, exceeded the daily working hours and also the standard range of sound. A significant correlation was found between general health and its dimensions with indicators of workplace sound pressure levels (P < 0.05). This means that with the increase in sound pressure level is worse general health status. CONCLUSION It seems that the health of workers in these industries is an inappropriate process due to exposure to occupational noise exposure and poor conditions of the workplace. A high percentage of them will lose their health in case of non-implementation of prevention programs and health in the workplace in the future.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Since the number of mobile subscribers has significantly increased in recent years, the installation and deployment of Base Transceiver Station (BTS) antennas sending and receiving signals has become common and inevitable in different regions. OBJECTIVE In this study, we have tried to evaluate the effect of the waves on some immunological and hematological parameters in exposed individuals. In this study, the exposed and non-exposed individuals were used as the test and control groups, respectively. METHODS The test group was healthy people who resided in the vicinity of the Base Transceiver Station (BTS) antenna and received the maximum of radiation. The control group was selected from the healthy individuals that were matched with the exposed group by age. They resided in a distance of Base Transceiver Station (BTS) antenna and received the minimum of radiation. After stating complete explanations and obtaining the consent, the venous blood samples were taken from them. Then, CBC and the level of cytokines including IL-4, IL-10 and interferon γ were performed on the samples and the results were analyzed by SPSS software. RESULTS In the test group, the whole number of white blood cells, the level of hematocrit, percent of monocytes, eosinophils and basophils were significantly lower than the control group. The number of red blood cells, their average volume and the mean concentration of hemoglobin were notably higher than the controls. There was not observed a significant difference between the two groups in hemoglobin, its mean concentration, platelet count, percent of lymphocytes and neutrophils as well as serum levels of cytokines IL-4, IL-10 and interferon γ . CONCLUSIONS It seems that radiation of mobile phone antennas influenced the blood and immune systems, but further study should be done to exactly determine the targets.

Abstract
Context: Long-term exposure to volatile organic compounds (VOCs) affects the occupancies health in petrochemical complex. Objectives: The aim of this study is to apply the lifetime cancer risk (LCR) and hazard quotient (HQ) in occupational exposure to estimate the risk of VOCs in petrochemical complexes. Settings and Design: A cross-sectional study was conducted in the petrochemical complex of Iran for a period of 1 year. Materials and Methods: Sorbent tubes were used to obtain air samples from 169 workers at different petrochemical complexes in southern Iran. The compounds analyzed with gas chromatography equipped with a flame ionization detector (FID). Statistical Analysis Used: The data were analyzed by SPSS version 16. Comparison between the mean of pollutants concentration in personal samples was performed by one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) test. Results: For all groups of workers, the results showed that exposure to carcinogenic compounds leads to LCR risks higher than 1 × 10-6. The mean of LCR for benzene is more than 10-4, and 53.3% of workers' exposed has a definite risk; the mean of LCR for workers exposed to ethyl benzene, epichlorohydrin, styrene, and trichloroethylene was between 10-4 and 10-6 and workers' exposure to these compounds was a probability risk for cancer. The mean of HQ was less than 1 for workers exposed to toluene, p-xylene, chlorobenzene, phenol, and methanol. Conclusions: The risk assessment with LCR showed that carcinogenic compounds are the main threat to workers' health and precautions should be taken to control workers' risk.

Abstract
TiO(2) and transition metal (Cr, Mn, Fe, Co, Ni, Cu, and Zn) doped TiO(2) nanoparticles were synthesized by the sol-gel method using 2-hydroxylethylammonium formate as an ionic liquid. All the prepared samples were calcined at 500 degrees C and characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), BET surface area determination, energy dispersive X-ray (EDX) analysis, diffuse reflectance spectroscopy (DRS), and Fourier transformed infrared (FT-IR) techniques. The studies revealed that transition metal (TM) doped nanoparticles have smaller crystalline size and higher surface area than pure TiO(2). Dopant ions in the TiO(2) structure caused significant absorption shift into the visible region. The results of photodegradation of Acid Blue92 (AB92) in aqueous medium under UV light showed that photocatalytic activity of TiO(2) nanoparticles was significantly enhanced by the presence of some transition metal ions. Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD) of dye solutions were done at regular intervals gave a good idea about mineralization of dye.
