Abstract
Hybrid organic-inorganic perovskite (HOIP) ferroelectric materials have great potential for developing self-powered electronic transducers owing to their impressive piezoelectric performance, structural tunability and low processing temperatures. Nevertheless, their inherent brittle and low elastic moduli limit their application in electromechanical conversion. Integration of HOIP ferroelectrics and soft polymers is a promising solution. In this work, a hybrid organic-inorganic rare-earth double perovskite ferroelectric, [RM3HQ]2RbPr(NO3)6 (RM3HQ = (R)-N-methyl-3-hydroxylquinuclidinium) is presented, which possesses multiaxial nature, ferroelasticity and satisfactory piezoelectric properties, including piezoelectric charge coefficient (d33) of 102.3 pC N-1 and piezoelectric voltage coefficient (g33) of 680 × 10-3 V m N-1. The piezoelectric generators (PEG) based on composite films of [RM3HQ]2RbPr(NO3)6@polyurethane (PU) can generate an open-circuit voltage (Voc) of 30 V and short-circuit current (Isc) of 18 µA, representing one of the state-of-the-art PEGs to date. This work has promoted the exploration of new HOIP ferroelectrics and their development of applications in electromechanical conversion devices.

Abstract
To clarify the characteristics and source apportionment of the VOCs initial mixing ratio in Beijing in summer, continuous monitoring of VOCs was conducted in the Beijing urban area from May to August 2022, and the initial mixing ratio was calculated using the photochemical ratio method. The results showed that:① during the study period, initial φ(TVOCs) in the Beijing urban area were (30.0 ±11.5)×10-9, in which the proportion of VOCs and alkanes containing oxygen reached 34.2% and 33.2%, respectively. The species with high volume fractions were low carbon substances such as acetone, ethane, acetaldehyde, and propane. ② The initial TVOCs mixing ratio in Beijing showed a slightly unimodal trend, reaching the peak at 11:00 and slightly decreasing in the afternoon. ③ Isoprene, acetaldehyde, n-butanal, and ethylene were the major contributors to the generation of O3, whereas toluene, isoprene, m-paraxylene, and ethylbenzene were the major contributors to the generation of secondary organic aerosols. ④ Based on the initial mixing ratio of PMF analysis, it was found that aging background and secondary sources (30%) contributed the most to VOCs in Beijing, and motor vehicle sources (25%) were the main primary human sources. In addition, solvent and fuel volatile sources contributed 16%, combustion sources contributed 11%, industrial process sources contributed 9%, and natural sources contributed 9%. ⑤ The anthropogenic sources of Beijing were mainly from the eastern and southern regions, whereas the natural sources were from the western and northwestern regions. This research showed that vehicle emissions should be further reduced, and regional joint prevention and control to reduce VOCs in the whole region is an effective means to control VOCs in Beijing.

Abstract
Organic-inorganic hybrid lead halide perovskites (OLHPs), represented by (CH3 NH3 )PbI3 , are one of the research focus due to their exceptional performance in optoelectronic applications, and ferroelastic domain walls are benign to their charge carrier transport that is confirmed recently. Among them, the 1D OLHPs feature better stability against desorption and moisture, but related 1D ones possessing ferroelasticity are rarely investigated and reported so far. In this work, the 1D ferroelastic semiconductor (N-iodomethyl-N-methyl-morpholinium)PbI3 ((IDMML)PbI3 ) is prepared successfully by introducing successively halogenate atoms from Cl, Br to I into the organic cation of the prototype (N,N-dimethylmorpholinium)PbI3 ((DMML)PbI3 ). Notably, (IDMML)PbI3 shows the narrow bandgap energy (≈2.34 eV) according to the ultraviolet-visible absorption spectrum and the theoretical calculation, and possesses the evident photoconductive characteristic with the on/off ratio of current of ≈50 under the 405 nm light irradiation. This work provides a new case for the ferroelastic OLHPs and will inspire intriguing research in the field of optoelectronic.

Abstract
The multifunctional tuning of solid-state dielectric switches constructed from organic-inorganic hybrid materials (OIHMs) has received great attention. In particular, molecular ferroelastics with dielectric phase transitions have considerable potential in the optical and electrical fields owing to their adjustable structures and physical features. However, it remains a challenge to effectively design ferroelastics with high phase transition temperature (Tc). We used [TTMA]2CdI4 (TTMA = tetramethylammonium, 1) as a template to continuously increase the molecular weight and change the structure of the hybrid material by modifying and extending the alkane chain in the cation. Therefore, a series of OIHMs were eventually developed: [TMEA]2CdI4 (TMEA = trimethylethylammonium, 2), [TMPA]2CdI4 (TMPA = trimethylpropylammonium, 3), and [TMIPA]2CdI4 (TMIPA = trimethyliso-propylammonium, 4). Among them, the Tc of ferroelastic 3 increased up to 387 K. DSC and temperature-related dielectric constant tests prove the occurrence of the phase transition for 1, 2, and 3. The structures further indicate that the phase transition is caused by the order-disorder cation motion. The extension of the alkyl chain greatly increases Tc and endows 3 with ferroelasticity at room temperature.

Impact of cirrhosis-related complications on posttransplant survival in patients with acute-on-chronic liver failure. Hepatobiliary Pancreat Dis Int 2023; 22:64-71. Abstract
BACKGROUND Acute-on-chronic liver failure (ACLF) is a life-threatening syndrome defined as acute decompensation in patients with chronic liver disease. Liver transplantation (LT) is the most effective treatment. We aimed to assess the impact of cirrhosis-related complications pre-LT on the posttransplant prognosis of patients with ACLF. METHODS This was an observational cohort study conducted between January 2018 and December 2020. Clinical characteristics, cirrhosis-related complications at LT and patient survival post-LT were collected. All liver recipients with ACLF were followed for 1 year post-LT. RESULTS A total of 212 LT recipients with ACLF were enrolled, including 75 (35.4%) patients with ACLF-1, 64 (30.2%) with ACLF-2, and 73 (34.4%) with ACLF-3. The median waiting time for LT was 11 (4-24) days. The most prevalent cirrhosis-related complication was ascites (78.8%), followed by hepatic encephalopathy (57.1%), bacterial infections (48.1%), hepatorenal syndrome (22.2%) and gastrointestinal bleeding (11.3%). Survival analyses showed that patients with complications at LT had a significantly lower survival probability at both 3 months and 1 year after LT than those without complications (all P < 0.05). A simplified model was developed by assigning one point to each complication: transplantation for ACLF with cirrhosis-related complication (TACC) model. Risk stratification of TACC model identified 3 strata (≥ 4, = 3, and ≤ 2) with high, median and low risk of death after LT (P < 0.001). Moreover, the TACC model showed a comparable ability for predicting the outcome post-LT to the other four prognostic models (chronic liver failure-consortium ACLF score, Chinese Group on the Study of Severe Hepatitis B-ACLF score, model for end-stage liver disease score and Child-Turcotte-Pugh score). CONCLUSIONS The presence of cirrhosis-related complications pre-LT increases the risk of death post-LT in patients with ACLF. The TACC model based on the number of cirrhosis-related complications pre-LT could stratify posttransplant survival, which might help to determine transplant timing for ACLF.

Abstract
Organic-inorganic Hybrid (OIH) materials for multifunctional switchable applications have attracted enormous attention in recent years due to their excellent optoelectronic properties and good structural tunability. However, it still remains challenging to fabricate one simple OIH compound with multi-functionals properties, such as dielectric switching, thermochromic properties, semiconductor characteristics and ferroelasticity. Under this context, we successfully synthesized [2-(2-fluorophenyl)ethan-1- ammonium]2 SnBr6 (compound 1), which has a higher phase transition temperature of 427.7 K. Additionally, it exhibits a semiconducting property with an indirect band gap of 2.36 eV. Combining ferroelastic, narrow band gap, thermochromic, and dielectric properties, compound 1 can be considered as a rarely reported multi-functional ferroelastic material, which is expected to give inspiration for broadening the applications in the smart devices field.

Abstract
Organic-inorganic hybrid phase transition materials with switchable properties have important potential applications in smart devices such as dielectric switches and storage. Nevertheless, it remains challenging to modify molecular structures efficiently to obtain materials simultaneously possessing multiple responsive properties. Herein, different from ordinary halogen substitutions in Metal Halide, we report a halogen regulation design of organic molecular strategy: (ASD) 2 MnBr 4 (ASD=5-azonia-spiro [4.5] decane) to (CASD) 2 MnBr 4 (CASD=8-chloro-5-azonia-spiro [4.5] decane). After organic molecular halogen regulation, the SHG response was excited and the dielectric phase transition temperature ( T c ) has also been greatly improved. Furthermore, under the irradiation of UV lamp, both showed green light with quantum yields above 50%. This work is of great significance for further exploration of multifunctional molecular switch materials through halogen modification strategies.

Abstract
Hybrid organic-inorganic perovskite (HOIP) have received tremendous scientific attention because of the phase transition and photovoltaic properties. However, achieving the special perovskite structure with both two-step dielectric response and luminescence characteristics is rarely reported. Herein, we report an organic-inorganic hybrid perovskite, [(BA)2 ⋅ PbI4 ] (Compound 1, BA=n-butylamine) by introducing flexible organic cations (HBA+ ), with direct mid-band gap as 2.28 eV. Interestingly, this material exhibits two-step reversible dielectric response at 350 K and 460 K (in heating process), respectively. Besides, the photoluminescence was found: it emits charming green light under 365 nm lamp (Photoluminescence quantum yield is 9.52 %). The outstanding two-step dielectric response and luminescence characteristics of this compound might pave the way for the application of dielectric and ferroelectric functional materials in temperature sensors and mechanical switches.

Abstract
Molecular ferroelastics have received particular attention for potential applications in mechanical switches, shape memory, energy conversion, information processing, and solar cells, by taking advantages of their low-cost, light-weight, easy preparation, and mechanical flexibility. The unique structures of organic-inorganic hybrid perovskites have been considered to be a design platform for symmetry-breaking-associated order-disorder in lattice, thereby possessing great potential for ferroelastic phase transition. Herein, we review the research progress of organic-inorganic hybrid perovskite ferroelastics in recent years, focusing on the crystal structures, dimensions, phase transitions and ferroelastic properties. In view of the few reports on molecular-based hybrid ferroelastics, we look forward to the structural design strategies of molecular ferroelastic materials, as well as the opportunities and challenges faced by molecular-based hybrid ferroelastic materials in the future. This review will have positive guiding significance for the synthesis and future exploration of organic-inorganic hybrid molecular ferroelastics.

Abstract
Multifunctional switching materials show great potential for applications in sensors, smart switches, and other fields due to their ability to integrate different physical channels in one single device. However, multifunctional responsive materials with multiple switching and luminescence properties have rarely been reported. Here, we report three organic-inorganic hybrids: [TMAA]2[CoCl4] (compound 1), [TMAA]2[CdBr4] (compound 2) and [TMAA]2[MnCl4] (compound 3). Compound 1 and compound 2 undergo two reversible phase transitions at high temperature (328.95/359.25 K and 350.45/393.15 K, respectively). Since the inorganic skeleton has a strong influence on the luminescence properties of such structured substances, Cd and Co were replaced with Mn, after which compound 3 was obtained as expected. The above strategy triggered bright green luminescence with a quantum yield of 35.19%, and significantly increased the phase transition temperature of compound 3 to above 400 K. The above results show that the regulation of the inorganic skeleton provides a new strategy for researchers to develop dual phase change/luminous materials.

Abstract
Cerebral ischemia/reperfusion injury is an important factor leading to poor prognosis in ischemic stroke patients. Therefore, it is particularly important to find effective remedial measures to promote the health of patients to return to society. Isoflurane is a safe and reliable anesthetic gas with a long history of clinical application. In recent years, its protection function to human body has been widely recognized, and nowadays isoflurane for cerebral protection has been widely studied, and the stable effect of isoflurane has satisfied many researchers. Basic studies have shown that isoflurane’s protection of brain tissue after ischemia/reperfusion involves a variety of signaling pathways and effector molecules. Even though many signaling pathways have been described, more and more studies focus on exploring their mechanisms of action, in order to provide strong evidence for clinical application. This could prompt the introduction of isoflurane therapy to clinical patients as soon as possible. In this paper, several confirmed signaling pathways will be reviewed to find possible strategies for clinical treatment.

Abstract
Background Several studies have assessed the role of gut microbiota in various cirrhosis etiologies, however, none has done so in the context of Schistosoma japonicum infection in humans. We, therefore, sought to determine whether gut microbiota is associated with S. japonicum infection-induced liver cirrhosis. Methods From December 2017 to November 2019, 24 patients with S. japonicum infection-induced liver cirrhosis, as well as 25 age- and sex-matched controls from the Zhejiang Province, China, were enrolled. Fecal samples were collected and used for 16S rRNA gene sequencing (particularly, the hypervariable V4 region) using the Illumina MiSeq system. Wilcoxon Rank-Sum and PERMANOVA tests were used for analysis. Results Eight hundred and seven operational taxonomic units (OTUs) were detected, of which, 491 were common between the two groups, whereas 123 and 193 were unique to the control and cirrhosis groups, respectively. Observed species, Chao, ACE, Shannon, Simpson, and Good’s coverage indexes, used for alpha diversity analysis, showed values of 173.4 ± 63.8, 197.7 ± 73.0, 196.3 ± 68.9, 2.96 ± 0.57, 0.13 ± 0.09, and 1.00 ± 0.00, respectively, in the control group and 154.0 ± 68.1, 178.6 ± 75.1, 179.9 ± 72.4, 2.68 ± 0.76, 0.19 ± 0.18, and 1.00 ± 0.00, respectively, in the cirrhosis group, with no significant differences observed between the groups. Beta diversity was evaluated by weighted UniFrac distances, with values of 0.40 ± 0.13 and 0.40 ± 0.11 in the control and cirrhosis groups, respectively (P > 0.05). PCA data also confirmed this similarity (P > 0.05). Meanwhile, the relative abundance of species belonging to the Bacilli class was higher in cirrhosis patients [median: 2.74%, interquartile range (IQR): 0.18–7.81%] than healthy individuals (median: 0.15%, IQR: 0.47–0.73%; P < 0.01), and that of Lactobacillales order was also higher in cirrhosis patients (median: 2.73%, IQR: 0.16–7.80%) than in healthy individuals (median: 0.12%, IQR: 0.03–0.70%; P < 0.05). Conclusions Cumulatively, our results suggest that the gut microbiota of S. japonicum infection-induced liver cirrhosis patients is similar to that of healthy individuals, indicating that bacterial taxa cannot be used as non-invasive biomarkers for S. japonicum infection-induced liver cirrhosis. ![]()

Abstract
Ultratrace quantitative detection based on fluorescence is highly desirable for many important applications such as environmental monitoring or disease diagnosis, which however has remained a great challenge because of limited and irregular fluorescence responses to analytes at ultralow concentrations. Herein the problem is circumvented via local enrichment and detection of analytes within a microsensor, that is, photonic porous microspheres grafted with aggregation-induced emission gens (AIEgens). The obtained microspheres exhibit dual structural and molecular functions, namely, bright structural colors and strong fluorescence. Large fluorescence quenching induced by nitrophenol compounds in an aqueous environment is observed at ultralow concentrations (10-12-10-8 mol/L), enabling quantitative detection at a ppb level (ng/L). This is achieved within a porous structure with good connectivity between the nanopores to improve analyte diffusion, an internal layer of poly(ethylene oxide) (PEO) for analyte enrichment via hydrogen bonding, and homogeneous distribution of AIEgens within the PEO layer for enhanced fluorescence quenching. The fluorescent porous microspheres can be readily obtained in a single step templated by well-ordered water-in-oil-in-water double emulsion droplets with AIE amphiphilic bottlebrush block copolymers as the effective stabilizer.

High-flow oxygen inhalation is one of the most effective acute treatments for cluster headache. The therapy was first described for the treatment of cluster headache in 1952 by Horton, and has exhibited some advantages and efficacy compared to other acute medicines. The mechanism is not very clear, but some evidence has demonstrated its relationship to the trigeminovascular system and neuroinflammation. High-flow oxygen inhalation via a non-rebreather mask during cluster headache attacks has been widely recommended. Patients with frequent attacks and/or intolerance to drugs may prefer the oxygen treatment.

Abstract
The behavior of hydrophilic micron particles impacting on the gas-liquid interface has been further experimentally studied using a high-speed camera at different surface tensions and dynamic viscosities of liquids. The results show that the impact behavior exhibits suspension and submergence modes, whose boundary cannot be clearly identified because the overlap between the impact velocity ranges occurs because of the unstable pinning of the three-phase contact line on the surface of hydrophilic particles. The liquid properties have little effect on the wettability of hydrophilic particles but greatly influence the hydrodynamic and capillary force exerted on the particles, leading to the expansion of the suspension mode range. In addition, the penetration probability changes little with the decrease in surface tension, while it significantly reduces with the increase in dynamic viscosity. A penetration probability model is predicted as an exponential function of the inertial and supporting forces, and the experimental values agree well with the predicted values. The outcomes of this research will be helpful for understanding the mechanism of particle-interface interaction and providing guidance for enhancing the separation of hydrophilic fine ash via a bubble scrubbing system.

Abstract
Objective: To study the clinicopathological features of invasive lobular carcinoma (ILC) of the breast with extracellular mucin and outcomes of patients. Method: Clinicopathological features and clinical follow-up (39-123 months and a median follow-up of 55 months) of seven ILC with extracellular mucin were obtained. Hematoxylin-and-eosin (H&E) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) stained sections were reviewed, and fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH) assay was performed for tumors with HER2 IHC 2+. Patient prognosis was analyzed and literatures related to ILC with extracellular mucin were reviewed. Results: All seven patients were female, aged from 43 to 73 years (median age, 55 years). The tumors ranged in size from 1 to 5 cm (median size 2 cm). All seven cases were of histological grade 2. Most areas of the tumors presented with the morphology of classic ILC, and variable amount of extracellular mucin were observed focally. In six cases, part of the tumor cells contained intracellular mucin, and the nucleus were pushed to one side of the cells, creating the impression of signet-ring cells. Two patients had lymph node metastases at diagnosis, and developed liver and bone metastases at 38th and 48th month, respectively, after surgery, and died at 48th and 123th month, respectively. While the other five patients, except one lost to follow-up, had been disease-free during the follow-up period. IHC results showed estrogen receptor (ER) and progesterone receptor (PR) positivity in 7/7 and 6/7 cases, respectively. Tumors of six patients were HER2 IHC 0/1+. The remaining one was HER2 IHC 2+, while FISH assay revealed HER2 gene amplification in that tumor. The proportion of cases with HER2-positivity was 1/7. The proliferation index Ki-67 ranged from less than 5% to 30%, and Ki-67 less than or equal to 10% were in 5/7 cases. According to the 2013 St. Gallen International Expert Consensus on breast cancer, all tumors were of luminal types; of those, two were luminal A and five were luminal B. Conclusions: ILC with extracellular mucin tends to occur in women over 50 years old. All tumors in the study are grade 2 classic ILC, with signet-ring cells as a common feature. All seven tumors are classified as luminal types, with luminal B as the main molecular subtype.

Abstract
Emerging evidence suggests that altered intestinal microbiota plays an important role in the pathogenesis of many liver diseases, mainly by promoting inflammation via the “intestinal microbiota-immunity-liver” axis. We aimed to investigate the fecal microbiome of liver recipients with abnormal/normal liver function using 16S rRNA gene sequencing. Fecal samples were collected from 90 liver recipients [42 with abnormal liver function (Group LT_A) and 48 with normal liver function (Group LT_N)] and 61 age- and gender-matched healthy controls (HCs). Fecal microbiomes were analyzed for comparative composition, diversity, and richness of microbial communities. Principal coordinates analysis successfully distinguished the fecal microbiomes of recipients in Group LT_A from healthy subjects, with the significant decrease of fecal microbiome diversity in recipients in Group LT_A. Other than a higher relative abundance of opportunistic pathogens such as Klebsiella and Escherichia/Shigella in all liver recipients, the main difference in gut microbiome composition between liver recipients and HC was the lower relative abundance of beneficial butyrate-producing bacteria in the recipients. Importantly, we established a fecal microbiome index (specific alterations in Staphylococcus and Prevotella) that could be used to distinguish Group LT_A from Group LT_N, with an area under the receiver operating characteristic curve value of 0.801 and sensitivity and specificity values of 0.771 and 0.786, respectively. These findings revealed unique gut microbial characteristics of liver recipients with abnormal and normal liver functions, and identified fecal microbial risk indicators of abnormal liver function in liver recipients.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE To explore the change of intestinal microecology in patients with primary Sjogren's syndrome (pSS) and correlation with disease activity, and also discuss the therapy effect of Yangyin Yiqi Huoxue Recipe (, YYHD). METHODS Sixteen pSS patients were enrolled in the present study, who received 3-month treatment of YYHR, 200 mL orally twice daily. Their pre-and post-test ESSDAI scores, erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR) and serum immunoglobulin G (IgG) levels were measured respectively. The 16SrDNA metagenomic sequencing was used to detect and analyze the abundance and diversity of intestinal bacteria flora and the proportion of bacteria at the levels of phylum, family, and genus, in comparision with those of 6 healthy subjects in the control group. RESULTS The abundance and diversity of intestinal bacteria flora in pSS patients were lower than those of healthy subjects (P<0.05). After the treatment with YYHD, patients' ESSDAI score and levels of IgG and ESR have decreased significantly (P<0.05). At the phylum level, the proportions of Actinobacteria, Firmicutes, Fusobacteria and Proteobacteria have reduced sharply, while the proportions of Bacteroidetes, Teneriquetes and Candidate-division-TM7 have increased significantly by treatment (all P<0.05). At the classification level, such treatment has caused a significant decrease in the proportions of Bacteroidaceae, Ruminococcaceae, Veillonellaceae, and Enterobacteriacea (all P<0.05), but a significant increase in the proportion of Lachnospiraceae (P<0.05). At the genus level, the treatment has significantly decreased the proportions of Bifidobacterium, Bacteroides, Escherichia-Shigella, Faecalibacterium and Prevotella (all P<0.05), but significantly increased the proportion of Clostridia (P<0.05), close to the levels of healthy subjects (P>0.05). CONCLUSIONS There exists an imbalance of intestinal microecology in pSS patients, which can be improved through the treatment with YYHD. Besides, such treatment can also improve the disease activity and adjust the diversity of intestinal bacteria flora, the composition and the abundance of intestinal flora.

Abstract
Because of the continuous expansion of the city and the evacuation of non-core functions, the city pattern of Beijing has gradually changed in recent years. Based on many construction projects, building sites are widely distributed within the city. Therefore, fugitive dust emission is an important factor affecting the air quality in Beijing. This article focuses on the plain area in Beijing. Remote sensing was used to extract building sites from 2013 to 2017, analyze the spatial and temporal distribution characteristics of the building sites, estimate the fugitive dust emission, and propose a grid-based emission classification management program. Research shows that the building sites form a belt surrounding the central urban area, mainly distributed in the urban-rural integration area. From 2013 to 2017, the area of the building sites first decreased and then increased. After 2015, the center of the building sites in Beijing shifted to the southeast and started to show an uneven distribution. The area of the building sites is positively correlated with the PM10 concentration. The correlation coefficients of 23 automatic ground monitoring stations are all above 0.80. Combined with the building site activity levels and emission factors, the estimated air pollutant emissions of TSP, PM10, and PM2.5 from building sites in 2017 were 39.5×104, 19.4×104, and 4.0×104 t, respectively. The emission intensity of the pollution in the grid has developed towards polarization, which further increased the emission intensity of high-strength pollution grids. Based on standardized PM10 grid emissions of building suites, the plain area of Beijing can be divided into five categories:lower pollution, low pollution, medium pollution, high pollution, and higher pollution.

Abstract
Spatial distribution of bungalow areas in the plain area of Beijing was interpreted using high resolution remote sensing images from 2015-2017, and data for the nearby surrounding areas was added in 2017. The bungalow development areas were then refined by a combination of field sampling and imagery interpretation. A statistical model was developed to estimate the coal consumption in bungalow areas based on statistical records of the developed areas. Emissions associated with coal burning emissions, namely, particulate matter (PM2.5), sulfur dioxide (SO2), and nitrogen oxide (NOx), were estimated from emission factors collected from the relevant research. The results showed that residential coal burning decreased drastically by 75% during the period 2015-2017 in Beijing. The effect of coal modification (gas) measures is remarkable. Beijing's six downtown districts, and the urban and rural areas of the southern plain, have eliminated coal use at this stage. The districts in which coal burning is centered are located in the northern plains of Beijing. Coal consumption is greater than 300000 t in the Changping, Shunyi district, and greater than 150000 t in the Pinggu, Yanqing District. The spatial distribution of coal consumption in 2015 was focused in the city center, then became a circular and later a semi-circular distribution. Coal burning was centered in the districts of Changping, Shunyi, Tongzhou, and Daxing, which are all located on the ring perimeter. The emissions of SO2 and NOx in the plain areas of Beijing were obviously different. The highest emissions of SO2 and NOx were observed in the Changping district, and reached 1113.3 t and 279.2 t, respectively. The Coal Clean Energy Policy in Baoding, Langfang in 2017 has achieved initial success. However, the coal consumption is very large; the quality of the coal was poor and coal was used extensively. The coal burning intensity showed an increasing trend from north to south in Baoding and Langfang. The coal consumption in Baoding and Langfang totaled 1043×104 t and 407×104 t respectively. The villages in the suburbs of Baoding and Langfang used less coal, with a coal consumption of less than 5×104 t in Beishi, Nanshi, and Xinshi villages. The spatial distribution of coal consumption for the Langfang plain was relatively even and uniform. The highest coal consumption was found in Wen'an, with a value of 69×104 t, and the lowest was observed in Dachang.

Abstract
The air pollution control of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region (BTH region) is gradually moving toward regional joint mode. Remote sensing technology can be used to realize real-time dynamic monitoring over a wide range of space and ground-based monitoring can obtain accurate point information. Combining satellite with ground-based data, the formation and dissipation of pollution can be traced in three dimensions. For this paper, we analyzed the formation process, transmission path, coverage area, and the meteorological characteristics of the pollution process over the BTH region during March 8-10, 2018, using satellite remote sensing data, surface PM2.5 concentration data, meteorological data, and lidar data. The results showed that an area of 200000 km2 was affected by this pollution process and that the grade of the pollution reached the fourth level (moderate pollution level). The regional transmission process was very typical in this process. During 8-9 March, the occurrence frequency of the southward wind was about 50% in the Beijing-Baoding region and 100% over the southern part of Hebei. With the help of continuous southward wind, the air quality of the Beijing-Baoding area rises from the first level to the fourth level. The high value area of aerosol optical thickness moved from the western part of the Handan-Xingtai region to the front of Yanshan Mountain. On 10 March, the weak north wind affected the region and the humidity increased obviously. A pollution convergence formed in the southern part of the BTH region. The center of pollution moved southward to the east part of the Handan-Xingtai Region. In the afternoon, with the help of the eastern wind, the air quality of Beijing got better from East to West. The vertical lidar observation results showed the pollution layer above Beijing was mainly below 1000 m. There were two inversion layers below 800 m and 1200-1500 m, respectively. The inversion temperature was as high as 4-7℃, which is unfavorable for vertical diffusion of pollutants. Thus, under the high intensity of regional energy consumption and pollution emissions background, the regional heavy pollution form easily once the weather conditions are bad.

Abstract
OBJECTIVES The aims of this study were to compare the core temperature changes between pediatric patients lying on regular operating room linen drapes and a water-repellent sheepskin rug during living donor liver transplantation (LDLT) and to evaluate the effectiveness of using a water-repellent sheepskin rug in preventing profound hypothermia due to fluid overflow from the abdominal cavity during LDLT. PATIENTS AND METHODS The operative records of pediatric patients who underwent LDLT from June 1994-September 2003 were reviewed retrospectively. The nasopharyngeal temperature (NT) changes during the LDLT procedure between patients lying on regular operating room drapes (GI) and water-repellent sheepskin rug (GII) were compared and analyzed using the Mann-Whitney U test. A P value <.05 was regarded as significant. RESULTS Thirty-two patients were included in GI and 56 in GII. Profound hypothermia was not observed in any recipients lying on a water-repellent sheepskin rug (GII). The NT after induction and the following 4 hours into the LT procedure were significantly higher in GII than GI. CONCLUSION Pediatric patients lying on water-repellent sheepskin preserved their core temperature better in comparison to patients lying on linen drapes. The use of a water-repellent sheepskin rug seems to be effective in preventing profound hypothermia related to physical contact with abdominal fluid overflow during the LDLT.

Abstract
Stroke is the leading cause of disability and death in the world. Central post-stroke pain (CPSP), a central neuropathic pain syndrome occurring after cerebral stroke, is a serious problem. But on account of the lack of reliable animal models, the mechanisms underlying CPSP remains poorly understood. To better understand of the pathophysiological basis of CPSP, we developed and characterized a new rat model of CPSP. This model is based on a hemorrhagic stroke lesion with intra-thalamic autologous blood (ITAB) injection in the ventral posterolateral nucleus of the thalamus. Behavioral analysis demonstrated that the animals displayed a significant decrease in mechanical allodynia threshold. We found a significant increase in P2 × 4 receptor expression in microglia in thalamic peri-lesion tissues post-hemorrhage. The mechanical allodynia in rats with CPSP were reversed by blocking P2 × 4 receptors. A significant alleviation of mechanical allodynia was achieved following the administration of adrenergic antidepressants and antiepileptics. Meanwhile, we found a significant decrease in P2 × 4 receptor expression after treatment with these drugs. Taken together, our results suggest that targeting P2 × 4 receptor may be effective in the treatment of CPSP.

Abstract
AIM To study the influence of different doses of tacrolimus (FK506) on gut microbiota after liver transplantation (LT) in rats.
METHODS Specific pathogen-free Brown Norway (BN) rats and Lewis rats were separated into five groups: (1) Tolerance group (BN-BN LT, n = 8); (2) rejection group (Lewis-BN LT, n = 8); (3) high dosage FK506 (FK506-H) group (Lewis-BN LT, n = 8); (4) middle dosage FK506 (FK506-M) group (Lewis-BN LT, n = 8); and (5) low dosage FK506 (FK506-L) group (Lewis-BN LT, n = 8). FK506 was administered to recipients at a dose of 1.0 mg/kg, 0.5 mg/kg, and 0.1 mg/kg body weight for 29 d after LT to the FK506-H, FK506-M, and FK506-L groups, respectively. On the 30th day after LT, all rats were sampled and euthanized. Blood samples were harvested for liver function and plasma endotoxin testing. Hepatic graft and ileocecal tissues were collected for histopathology observation. Ileocecal contents were used for DNA extraction, Real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) and digital processing of denaturing gradient gel electrophoresis (DGGE) profiles and analysis.
RESULTS Compared to the FK506-H and FK506-L groups, FK506-M was optimal for maintaining immunosuppression and inducing normal graft function; the FK506-M maintained gut barrier integrity and low plasma endotoxin levels; furthermore, DGGE results showed that FK506-M induced stable gut microbiota. Diversity analysis indicated that FK506-M increased species richness and rare species abundance, and cluster analysis confirmed the stable gut microbiota induced by FK506-M. Phylogenetic tree analysis identified crucial bacteria associated with FK506-M; seven of the nine bacteria that were decreased corresponded to Bacteroidetes, while increased bacteria were of the Bifidobacterium species. FK506-M increased Faecalibacterium prausnitzii and Bifidobacterium spp. and decreased Bacteroides-Prevotella and Enterobacteriaceae, as assessed by RT-PCR, which confirmed the crucial bacterial alterations identified through DGGE.
CONCLUSION Compared to the low or high dosage of FK506, an optimal dosage of FK506 induced immunosuppression, normal graft function and stable gut microbiota following LT in rats. The stable gut microbiota presented increased probiotics and decreased potential pathogenic endotoxin-producing bacteria. These findings provide a novel strategy based on gut microbiota for immunosuppressive dosage assessment for recipients following LT.

Abstract
Objective: To investigate androgen receptor(AR)expression in invasive breast carcinoma and the correlation with surrogate molecular breast carcinoma subtypes. Methods: Immunohistochemical staining of AR and other biomarkers was performed in a cohort of 870 cases of primary invasive breast carcinomas collected from August to December, 2016. The association of AR expression with different histological and surrogate molecular subtypes was analyzed. Results: The positive expression rate of AR in the immunohistochemistry-based surrogate subtypes was 96.3%(207/215) for Luminal A, 89.8%(378/421) for Luminal B, 82.4%(75/91) for HER2 overexpression and 37.1%(53/143) for triple negative breast carcinoma, with significant differences among the four groups (P<0.01). AR correlated positively with the expression of ER(P<0.01), PR(P<0.01), HER2(P=0.007), GATA3(P<0.01), GCDFP15(P<0.01)and mammaglobin(P<0.01), while negatively with the expression of Ki-67(P<0.01), CK5/6(P<0.01)and CK14(P<0.01). Conclusions: AR exhibits a high expression in invasive breast carcinoma, which is mainly correlated with ER-positive breast carcinoma. Regardless of the relatively low expression rate, AR is a potential therapeutic target in triple negative breast carcinoma.

Regulation of emotional memory by hydrogen sulfide: role of GluN2B-containing NMDA receptor in the amygdala. J Neurochem 2014; 132:124-34. Abstract
As an endogenous gaseous molecule, hydrogen sulfide (H2 S) has attracted extensive attention because of its multiple biological effects. However, the effect of H2 S on amygdala-mediated emotional memory has not been elucidated. Here, by employing Pavlovian fear conditioning, an animal model widely used to explore the neural substrates of emotion, we determined whether H2 S could regulate emotional memory. It was shown that the H2 S levels in the amygdala of rats were significantly elevated after cued fear conditioning. Both intraamygdala and systemic administrations of H2 S markedly enhanced amygdala-dependent cued fear memory in rats. Moreover, it was found that H2 S selectively increased the surface expression and currents of NMDA-type glutamate receptor subunit 2B (GluN2B)-containing NMDA receptors (NMDARs) in lateral amygdala of rats, whereas blockade of GluN2B-containing NMDARs in lateral amygdala eliminated the effects of H2 S to enhance amygdalar long-term potentiation and cued fear memory. These results demonstrate that H2 S can regulate amygdala-dependent emotional memory by promoting the function of GluN2B-containing NMDARs in amygdala, suggesting that H2 S-associated signaling may hold potential as a new target for the treatment of emotional disorders. In our study, the effect of hydrogen sulfide (H2 S) on amygdala-mediated emotional memory was investigated. It was found that H2 S could enhance amygdala-dependent emotional memory and long-term potentiation (LTP) in rats by selectively increasing the function of GluN2B-containing NMDA receptors in the amygdala. These results suggest that H2 S-associated signaling may be a new target for the treatment of emotional disorders.

Alternatively spliced, truncated GCSF receptor promotes leukemogenic properties and sensitivity to JAK inhibition. Leukemia 2013; 28:1041-51. Abstract
Granulocyte colony-stimulating factor (GCSF) drives the production of myeloid progenitor and precursor cells toward neutrophils via the GCSF receptor (GCSFR, gene name CSF3R). Children with severe congenital neutropenia chronically receive pharmacologic doses of GCSF, and ∼30% will develop myelodysplasia/acute myeloid leukemia (AML) associated with GCSFR truncation mutations. In addition to mutations, multiple isoforms of CSF3R have also been reported. We found elevated expression of the alternatively spliced isoform, class IV CSF3R in adult myelodysplastic syndrome/AML patients. Aside from its association with monosomy 7 and higher rates of relapse in pediatric AML patients, little is known about the biology of the class IV isoform. We found developmental regulation of CSF3R isoforms with the class IV expression more representative of a progenitor cell stage. Striking differences were found in phosphoprotein signaling involving Janus kinase (JAK)-signal transducer and activator of transcription (STAT) and cell cycle gene expression. Enhanced proliferation by class IV GCSFR was associated with diminished STAT3 and STAT5 activation, yet showed sensitivity to JAK2 inhibitors. Alterations in the C-terminal domain of the GCSFR result in leukemic properties of enhanced growth, impaired differentiation and resistance to apoptosis, suggesting that they can behave as oncogenic drivers, sensitive to JAK2 inhibition.

Mst1 overexpression inhibited the growth of human non-small cell lung cancer in vitro and in vivo. Cancer Gene Ther 2013; 20:453-60. Abstract
Mammalian STE20-like kinase 1 (Mst1) ubiquitously encodes serine threonine kinase, which is a 59-kDa class II GC kinase that shares 76% identity in amino-acid sequence with MST2, and is the closest mammalian homolog of Drosophila Hippo protein kinase, a major inhibitor of cell proliferation in Drosophila. Recent studies have shown that Mst1 and Mst2 perform tumor-suppressor function in a redundant manner and were originally identified as pro-apoptotic cytoplasmic kinases important for controlling cell growth, proliferation, apoptosis and organ size. We used recombinant eukaryotic expression vector containing human wild-type Mst1 gene to transfect human non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) A549 cells in vitro and in vivo. The results showed that Mst1 overexpression inhibited cell proliferation and induced apoptosis of A549 cells, promoted Yes-associated protein (YAP) (Ser127) phosphorylation and downregulated the transcriptional level of Cystein-rich protein connective tissue growth factor (CTGF), amphiregulin (AREG) and Survivin. In human NSCLC-cell-A549-xenograft models, Mst1 gene or cisplatin alone suppressed the growth of tumors and increased the cytoplasm-positive expression levels of YAP and Phospho-YAP (Ser127) proteins; however, their combination had the strongest anticancer effects. Overall, Mst1 has an important role in inhibiting the growth of NSCLC in vitro and in vivo; its antiproliferative effect is associated with induction of apoptosis through promotion of the cytoplasmic localization and phosphorylation of YAP protein at Ser127 site, indicating that Mst1 may be developed as a promising therapeutic target for NSCLC.

Abstract
The cation-templated self-assembly of 1,4-bis(2-methyl-1H-imidazol-1-yl)butane (bmimb) with CuSCN gives rise to a novel two-dimensional network, namely catena-poly[2,2'-dimethyl-1,1'-(butane-1,4-diyl)bis(1H-imidazol-3-ium) [tetra-μ2-thiocyanato-κ(4)S:S;κ(4)S:N-dicopper(I)]], {(C12H20N4)[Cu2(NCS)4]}n. The Cu(I) cation is four-coordinated by one N and three S atoms, giving a tetrahedral geometry. One of the two crystallographically independent SCN(-) anions acts as a μ2-S:S bridge, binding a pair of Cu(I) cations into a centrosymmetric [Cu2(NCS)2] subunit, which is further extended into a two-dimensional 4(4)-sql net by another kind of SCN(-) anion with an end-to-end μ2-S:N coordination mode. Interestingly, each H2bmimb dication, lying on an inversion centre, threads through one of the windows of the two-dimensional 4(4)-sql net, giving a pseudorotaxane-like structure. The two-dimensional 4(4)-sql networks are packed into the resultant three-dimensional supramolecular framework through bmimb-SCN N-H···N hydrogen bonds.

Abstract
A novel two-dimensional coordination polymer, poly[[μ2-1,3-bis(2-methyl-1H-imidazol-1-yl)propane]di-μ4-iodido-di-μ3-iodido-silver(I)], [Ag4I4(C11H16N4)]n, (I), has been synthesized by solvothermal reaction of AgNO3, KI and 1,3-bis(2-methyl-1H-imidazol-1-yl)propane (bmimp). In (I), the two unique AgIcations have AgNI3and AgI4four-coordinated tetrahedral geometries. The bmimp ligand has imposed twofold symmetry. The AgIcations and iodide anions form a unique one-dimensional polymeric column motif incorporating [Ag6I6] hexagonal prisms, which are then connected by bmimp ligands to form two-dimensional organic–inorganic layers. The layers are arranged in parallel in anABABfashion and are packed into the resultant three-dimensional supramolecular framework by van der Waals interactions.

Abstract
The carboxyl terminus of heat shock cognate 70 interacting protein (CHIP) is an E3 ubiquitin ligase, which can promote ubiquitylation and degradation of many tumor-related proteins. However, the expression of CHIP in human gastric cancer has not been investigated. In this study, the mRNA and protein levels of CHIP expression in 53 cases of gastric cancer and matched normal tissues were determined by quantitative real-time PCR, western blotting and immunohistochemistry. We showed that CHIP was registered from basal to middle portions of normal gastric mucosa. CHIP expression was notably decreased or lost in human gastric cancer samples compared with the matched normal non-cancer samples. The correlations between CHIP downregulation and the clinicopathological characteristics were also evaluated. The expression of CHIP was significantly lower in the gastric cancer samples compared to the matched normal samples at both mRNA and protein levels (P<0.05 and P<0.05, respectively). More importantly, the downregulation of CHIP was correlated with TNM stage (P=0.048) and lymph node metastasis (P=0.010) at the mRNA levels. In addition, the downregulation of CHIP was correlated with lymph node metastasis (P=0.021) and tumor differentiation (P=0.009) at the protein levels. Taken together, at both mRNA and protein levels, the decreased expression of CHIP was correlated with lymph node metastasis. Furthermore, our study suggests that a negative correlation exists between CHIP expression and tumor malignancy in human gastric cancer.

Assessment of the fecal lactobacilli population in patients with hepatitis B virus-related decompensated cirrhosis and hepatitis B cirrhosis treated with liver transplant. MICROBIAL ECOLOGY 2012; 63:929-937. Abstract
This study aims to provide an overview of the diversity of intestinal Lactobacillus among Chinese patients with hepatitis B virus (HBV)-related decompensated cirrhosis and who received liver transplant for hepatitis B cirrhosis. Fecal samples were collected from 38 healthy volunteers, 61 patients with HBV-related decompensated cirrhosis (group LC) and 74 patients who had liver transplant for hepatitis B cirrhosis (group LT). Quantitative polymerase chain reaction technology with species-specific primers was applied to investigate lactobacilli 16S rDNA in crude DNA, extracted from fecal samples. Software package Statistical Package for the Social Sciences and Palaeontological Statistics for Windows was used to analyze the data. Lactobacilli population of the two patient groups was different from the healthy control subjects, principal differences being marked decrease in the population of Lactobacillus rhamnosus (p < 0.001 for both patient groups) and reduction in the frequency of Lactobacillus fermentus (p < 0.001 for group LC and p < 0.01 for group LT). Our findings on the frequency of lactobacilli population suggested decreased diversity in groups LC and LT (compared with the healthy controls (p < 0.001 and p < 0.01, respectively)). Patients tended to have less complex fecal lactobacilli composition than the healthy controls, especially in the group LC.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Liver transplantation is one of the most effective therapeutic options for patients with end-stage liver diseases, and gut microbiota is actively involved in potential infections in pretransplant and posttransplant patients. However, the diversity of gut microbiota and its relationship with the immune parameter of liver transplantation recipients are not well understood. METHODS We collected fresh feces and blood samples from 190 participants in China from November 2004 to May 2008, including 28 healthy volunteers, 51 cirrhotic patients and 111 liver-transplanted patients. Six interesting gut bacteria, plasma endotoxin, serum cytokines (i.e., tumor necrosis factor alpha and interleukin-6) and fecal secretory IgA (SIgA) were investigated by real-time quantitative PCR, chromogenic limulus amoebocyte assay, sandwich-type enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay and radioimmunoassay, respectively. RESULTS All Eubacteria, Bifidobacterium spp., Faecalibacterium prausnitzii and Lactobacillus spp. were significantly lower in the liver transplantation recipients while Enterobacteriaceae and Enterococcus spp. were significantly higher (P<0.05). Except for Enterococcus spp., other bacteria showed a tendency to restore to normal level along with the time after liver transplantation. Plasma endotoxin, interleukin-6 and fecal SIgA in cirrhotic patients increased significantly, but not in liver transplantation recipients. Plasma endotoxin and interleukin-6 were negatively correlated with all Eubacteria and the Bacteroides-Prevotella group, while tumor necrosis factor alpha was not significantly correlated with these six gut bacteria in cirrhotic patients. CONCLUSIONS Our study demonstrates that abundant gut bacteria were altered significantly in both cirrhotic and liver transplantation patients, while plasma endotoxin and interleukin-6 increased remarkably in cirrhotic patients, showing significant correlations with gut microbiota. Interestingly, our data show a tendency for these gut bacteria to restore to normal levels in liver transplantation recipients.

The panorama of physiological responses and gene expression of whole plant of maize inbred line YQ7-96 at the three-leaf stage under water deficit and re-watering. TAG. Abstract
Changes in water potential, growth elongation, photosynthesis of three-leaf-old seedlings of maize inbred line YQ7-96 under water deficit (WD) for 0.5, 1 and 2 h and re-watering (RW) for 24 h were characterized. Gene expression was analyzed using cDNA microarray covering 11,855 maize unigenes. As for whole maize plant, the expression of WD-regulated genes was characterized by up-regulation. The expression of WD-regulated genes was categorized into eight different patterns, respectively, in leaves and roots. Newly found and WD-affected cellular processes were metabolic process, amino acid and derivative metabolic process and cell death. A great number of the analyzed genes were found to be regulated specifically by RW and commonly by both WD and RW, respectively, in leaves. It is therefore concluded that (1) whole maize plant tolerance to WD, as well as growth recovery from WD, depends at least in part on transcriptional coordination between leaves and roots; (2) WD exerts effects on the maize, especially on basal metabolism; (3) WD could probably affect CO(2) uptake and partitioning, and transport of fixed carbons; (4) WD could likely influence nuclear activity and genome stability; and (5) maize growth recovery from WD is likely involved in some specific signaling pathways related to RW-specific responsive genes.

Abstract
AIM The gene melting spectral pattern (GMSP) of PCR products from 24 T-cell receptor beta chain variable (TCRBV) gene families was developed to determine sequence bias and feature of TCRBV CDR3 gene family. METHODS The assay was based on reverse transcript quantitative polymerase chain reaction and their DNA melting curves. RESULTS We discovered that the relatively conserved amino acid sequences X-Q and X-G are present in TCRBV CDR3 from patients with HBV. Further, the X of the X-Q motif is preferentially E (glutamic acid), P (proline) or T (threonine) when accompanied by the BJ2.7, BJ1.5, or BJ2.3, respectively. The frequency of sequence bias in the TCRBV gene family showed a positive correlation with the T cell receptor excision circles (TRECs) content, and an inverse correlation with the HBV DNA loading. CONCLUSION These results suggest that the GMSP assay could be used to monitor the features of TCRBV gene distribution quickly, and facilitate the further study of HBV-specific T cell in patients with HBV.
