Abstract
STUDY OBJECTIVE Adolescents and young adults (AYAs) rely on internet resources for sexual and reproductive health (SRH) information. Interactive tools are promising in health education, yet existing SRH websites do not contain validated resources to support AYAs in contraception decision-making. "Teen Health" is an original, interactive educational website designed for AYAs that includes a novel contraception education tool (CET). METHODS A convenience sample of pregnancy-capable patients aged 13-25 years were recruited during scheduled appointments at outpatient clinics affiliated with a tertiary children's hospital from January to June 2022. Electronic surveys evaluated participants' contraception preferences before and after website exposure. CET results were reported in the post-website exposure survey. Written feedback was solicited after website exposure. RESULTS One hundred and twenty-eight participants with a mean age of 15.95 years (SD 1.93) participated in this study. Participant demographic characteristics were notable for diverse representation of gender identities and sexual preferences. Contraception preferences before and after website exposure differed significantly (P < .001). Oral contraceptive pills were the most commonly selected contraception method both before and after website exposure. There was a significant relationship between CET results and post-website contraception preference. Many participants asked for additional topics in adolescent health to be featured on "Teen Health." CONCLUSION This study demonstrates the feasible implementation and utility of an interactive, teen-friendly SRH educational tool for AYAs. Further study of this website's utility may include broadening the research population to include other languages, clinical institutions, and educational settings; non-contraceptive uses for this resource; and contraception selection outcomes after exposure to this website.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE Long-acting reversible contraceptives (LARCs) are the most effective contraceptive method to decrease pregnancy rates among adolescents and young adults (AYAs). Get It? (www.getitnobaby.com) is an innovative peer-based digital intervention that aims to increase LARC awareness and use among AYAs. The purpose of this study was to describe the impact of Get It? on LARC awareness and use among AYAs after exposure. METHODS A randomized controlled trial was conducted between 2 different Baylor College of Medicine Teen Health Clinics. Using a block randomization method, clinics were randomized to either the intervention or control group by week. Baseline and post-intervention surveys were conducted in addition to a 6-month post-intervention chart review to determine the primary outcome of LARC uptake and secondary outcomes including other LARC-specific behaviors and LARC attitudes. RESULTS A total of 233 AYAs agreed to participate in the study, of which 134 were randomized to the control group and 99 to the intervention group. Initiation of LARC discussion with the provider was significantly higher in the intervention group than in the control group. Additionally, LARC uptake within 6 months after study was almost significantly higher in the intervention group than in the control group. Finally, intervention group respondents exhibited strong positive attitudes toward Get It? with regard to specific intervention components. CONCLUSION This study supports Get It? as a tool to educate and motivate AYA girls to use the most effective form of birth control available to them. The digital format of this novel peer-based approach also contributes to the potential of this educational intervention by decreasing barriers to both dissemination and uptake. We recommend a larger multi-institutional study to confirm these results and determine the most efficient method of dissemination to reach at-risk AYAs before coitarche.

Abstract
Background Adolescents and young adults with sickle cell disease (SCD) transitioning from pediatric to adult health care face a high-risk period associated with increased use of acute health care services and mortality. Although 59% of American citizens report using the internet for health care information, the quality of web-based, patient-facing resources regarding transition in SCD care has not been evaluated. Objective This study aimed to evaluate the quality and readability of web-based health information on SCD, especially as it pertains to the transition to adulthood for inidividuals with SCD. The study also compared the readability and content scores of websites identified in 2018 to those from 2021 to assess any change in quality over time. Methods Keywords representing phrases adolescents may use while searching for information on the internet regarding transition in SCD care, including "hydroxyurea" and "SCD transition," were identified. A web-based search using the keywords was conducted in July 2021 using Google, Yahoo, and Bing. The top 20 links from each search were collected. Duplicate websites, academic journals, and websites not related to SCD health care transition were excluded. Websites were categorized based on the source: health department, hospital or private clinician, professional society, and other websites. Websites were assessed using Health On the Net Foundation code of conduct (HONcode), Flesch Reading Ease (FRE), Flesch-Kincaid Grade Level (FGL), Ensuring Quality Information for Patients (EQIP), and a novel SCD content checklist (SCDCC). EQIP and SCDCC scores range from 0- to 100. Each website was reviewed by 2 research assistants and assessed for interrater reliability. Descriptive statistics were calculated. Results Of the 900 websites collected, 67 (7.4%) met the inclusion criteria: 13 health department, 7 hospital or private clinician, 33 professional society, and 14 other websites. A total of 15 (22%) out of 67 websites had HONcode certification. Websites with HONcode certification had higher FRE and EQIP scores and lower FGL scores than those without HONcode certification, reflecting greater readability. Websites without HONcode certification had higher SCDCC scores, reflecting greater clinical content. Only 7 (10%) websites met the National Institutes of Health recommendation of a seventh-grade or lower reading level. Based on EQIP scores, 6 (9%) websites were of high quality. The mean SCDCC score was 20.60 (SD 22.14) out of 100. The interrater reliability for EQIP and SCDCC ratings was good (intraclass correlation: 0.718 and 0.897, respectively). No source of website scored significantly higher mean EQIP, FRE, FGL, or SCDCC scores than the others (all P<.05). Conclusions Although seeking health care information on the web is very common, the overall quality of information about transition in SCD care on the internet is poor. Changes to current web-based health care information regarding SCD care transitions would benefit transitioning youth by providing expectations, knowledge, skills, and tools to increase self-efficacy.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Of the 1.6 million transgender and gender-diverse (TGD) people in the United States, approximately 700,000 are youth aged 13-24 years. Many factors make it difficult for TGD young people to identify resources for support and information related to gender identity and medical transition. These range from lack of knowledge to concerns about personal safety in the setting of increased antitransgender violence and legislative limitations on transgender rights. Web-based resources may be able to address some of the barriers to finding information and support, but youth may have difficulty finding relevant content or have concerns about the quality and content of information they find on the internet. OBJECTIVE We aim to understand ways TGD young adults look for web-based information about gender and health. METHODS In August 2022, 102 young adults completed a 1-time survey including closed- and open-ended responses. Individuals were recruited through the Prolific platform. Eligibility was restricted to people between the ages of 18-25 years who identified as transgender and were residents of the United States. The initial goal was to recruit 50 White individuals and 50 individuals who identified as Black, indigenous, or people of color. In total, 102 people were eventually enrolled. RESULTS Young adults reported looking on the internet for information about a broad range of topics related to both medical- and social-gender affirmation. Most participants preferred to obtain information via personal stories. Participants expressed a strong preference for obtaining information from other trans people. CONCLUSIONS There is a need for accessible, expert-informed information for TGD youth, particularly more information generated for the transgender community by members of the community.

Abstract
Background With increasing prevalence of severe obesity in youth, more adolescents are becoming candidates for bariatric surgery. In Canada, bariatric surgery in adolescents is in its infancy, and long-term health outcomes are not well known. It is unknown what health care providers (HCPs) are using to prepare and guide their adolescent patients for bariatric surgery. The needs of HCPs should be explored with the aim to improve patient outcomes. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to investigate the resource needs of HCPs working with adolescents living with severe obesity who are undergoing bariatric surgery. Methods This qualitative study consisted of a focus group with seven HCPs from an adolescent bariatric program using a semi-structured interview guide. The focus group discussion was audio-recorded, and the recording was transcribed verbatim. A thematic analysis was conducted. Results Four data-generated themes emerged highlighting the perceived needs and challenges faced by HCPs. These included (1) gaps in patient education materials on the subject of the bariatric surgery process, obesity as a chronic disease and mental health, (2) the need for designing resources that are teen-friendly, adaptable, and accessible, (3) the need for resources to facilitate decision-making and patient evaluation delivering more streamlined care and; (4) challenges to addressing resource needs due to limited clinical time and budgets. Conclusion This needs assessment study highlights the need for appropriate resources for patient education, as well as pre and post-operative preparation. The hope is that HCPs can improve quality of care delivered and positively impact surgical outcomes in their patients.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE Despite a decrease in teenage pregnancy rates in the U.S. in the past decades, teen pregnancy continues to be a considerable health issue. In this paper, we outline the development of our novel peer-based intervention, appropriately named Get It?, that aims to increase awareness of and self-efficacy to use long-active reversible contraceptives (LARCs) among teenagers. METHODS Peer narrative videos were created from audio-recording semi-structured, one-on-one interviews with teenage LARC users. Focus groups of young women 19 years old and younger were conducted to choose the most audience-appropriate videos to be included in the final intervention. Using a thematic content analysis approach, transcripts of the audio-recorded focus groups were reviewed and manually coded. RESULTS The final layout of Get It? included 4 videos that were chosen by participants of the focus groups, as well as supplemental activities that included a basic description of the LARC devices, the ability to anonymously post personal stories about LARC that can be shared with others, and the opportunity to email the primary investigator questions about LARC. Thematic analysis of the focus group discussions revealed when it came to narrative videos, participants desired: (1) an authentic narrator, (2) more information on the narrator, (3) narrators displaying ample emotions. CONCLUSION Peer narratives play a vital role in influencing a teenager's perspective on their health status, therefore understanding what constitutes reliable narration from an online format was critical in the development of a peer-based electronic intervention that informs teenagers of the most effective contraceptive available to them.

Abstract
AIM Adolescents in low-and-middle-income countries (LMICs) are facing numerous developmental, sexual and reproductive health (SRH) challenges including exposure to multidimensional violence. Gender-based violence (GBV) specifically intimate partner violence (IPV) are both highly prevalent in LMICs and are strongly linked with poor SRH outcomes. However, GBV and IPV interventions have not yet been adequately integrated in SRH due to individual, social, cultural, service, and resource barriers. To promote long-term SRH, a more holistic approach that integrates GBV and IPV, and adolescent development needs is imperative. Digital health has the potential to address multiple service setup, provision, and addressing access barriers through designing and providing integrated SRH care. However, there are no guidelines for an integrated digital SRH and development promotion for adolescents in LMICs. METHODS An umbrella review was conducted to synthesize evidence in three inter-related areas of digital health intervention literature: (i) SRH, (ii) GBV specifically IPV as a subset, and (iii) adolescent development and health promotion. We first synthesize findings for each area of research, then further analyze the implications and opportunities to inform approaches to develop an integrated intervention that can holistically address multiple SRH needs of adolescents in LMICs. Articles published in English, between 2010 and 2020, and from PubMed were included. RESULTS Seventeen review articles met our review inclusion criterion. Our primary finding is that application of digital health strategies for adolescent SRH promotion is highly feasible and acceptable. Although effectiveness evidence is insufficient to make strong recommendations for interventions and best practices suggestions, some user-centered design guidelines have been proposed for web-based health information and health application design for adolescent use. Additionally, several digital health strategies have also been identified that can be used to further develop integrated GBV-IPV-SRH-informed services to improve adolescent health outcomes. We generated several recommendations and strategies to guide future digital based SRH promotion research from our review. CONCLUSIONS Rigorous research that focuses on intervention effectiveness testing using a combination of digital health strategies and standardized albeit contextualized outcome measures would be important. Methodological improvement such as adoption of longitudinal experimental design will be crucial in generating evidence-based intervention and practice guidelines for adolescents in LMICs.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Many individuals living with dementia want to live in their own homes for as long as possible. To do so, they frequently require assistance with activities of daily living, which is often provided by friends and relatives acting as informal care partners. In Canada, many informal care partners are currently overworked and overwhelmed. Although community-based dementia-inclusive resources are available to support them, care partners often struggle to find them. Dementia613.ca was created to make the process of finding community dementia-inclusive resources simpler and more straightforward by bringing them together in one eHealth website. OBJECTIVE The objective of our study was to determine if dementia613.ca is meeting the goal of connecting care partners and persons living with dementia to dementia-inclusive resources in their community. METHODS A review and assessment of the website was conducted using 3 evaluation methods: web analytics, questionnaires, and task analysis. Google Analytics was used to collect data related to website use over a 9-month period. Data on site content and user characteristics were collected. Furthermore, 2 web-based self-administered questionnaires were developed: one intended for care partners and persons living with dementia, and the other intended for businesses and organizations interested in serving persons living with dementia. Both gathered data on user characteristics and included standard questions used in website evaluations. Responses were collected over a 6-month period. Scenarios, tasks, and questions were developed for the moderated, remote, and task-analysis sessions. These tasks and questions determined how effectively persons living with dementia and their care partners can use dementia613.ca. Overall, 5 sessions were held with persons experiencing moderate cognitive decline and with care partners of persons living with dementia. RESULTS This evaluation showed that the idea behind dementia613.ca is strong and appeals to persons living with dementia, their care partners, and the businesses and organizations serving this market. Participants indicated that it is a useful community resource that meets a previously unfulfilled need in the area, and highlighted the benefits of bringing community resources together on 1 website. In our questionnaire, >60% (19/29, 66%) of people living with dementia and their care partners and 70% (7/10) of businesses and organizations agreed that the website made it easier to find relevant dementia-inclusive resources. There is room for improvement; participants indicated that the navigation and search features could be further developed. CONCLUSIONS We believe that the dementia613.ca model could be used to inspire and guide the creation of dementia resource websites in other regions in Ontario and beyond. The framework behind it is generalizable and could be replicated to help care partners and persons living with dementia find local resources more easily.

Abstract
Background Electronic Health Records (EHRs) can help clinicians to plan, document and deliver care for patients in healthcare services. When used consistently, EHRs can advance patient safety and quality, and reduce clinician’s workload. However, usability problems can make it difficult for clinicians to use EHRs effectively, which can negatively impact both healthcare professionals and patients. Objective To improve usability of EHRs within a mental health service in the UK. Methods This was a feasibility study conducted with two mental health teams. A mixed-methods approach was employed. Focus group discussions with clinicians identified existing usability problems in EHRs and changes were made to address these problems. Updated EHR assessment forms were evaluated by comparing the following measures pre and post changes: (1) usability testing to monitor time spent completing and duplicating patient information in EHRs, (2) clinician’s experience of using EHRs, and (3) proportion of completed EHR assessment forms. Results Usability testing with clinicians (n = 3) showed that the time taken to complete EHR assessment forms and time spent duplicating patient information decreased. Clinician’s experience of completing EHR assessment forms also significantly improved post changes compared to baseline (n = 71; p < 0.005). There was a significant increase in completion of most EHR forms by both teams after EHR usability improvements (all at p < 0.01). Conclusions Usability improvements to EHRs can reduce the time taken to complete forms, advance clinician’s experience and increase usage of EHRs. It is important to engage healthcare professionals in the usability improvement process of EHRs in mental health services. Abstract
Despite the proliferation of eHealth interventions, such as web portals, for health information dissemination or the use of mobile apps and wearables for health monitoring, research has shown that underserved groups do not benefit proportionately from these eHealth interventions. This is largely because of usability issues and the lack of attention to the broader structural, physical, and psychosocial barriers to technology adoption and use. The objective of this paper is to draw lessons from a decade of experience in designing different user-centered eHealth interventions (eg, web portals and health apps) to inform future work in leveraging technology to address health disparities. We draw these lessons from a series of interventions from the work we have done over 15 years in the Viswanath laboratory at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Harvard TH Chan School of Public Health, focusing on three projects that used web portals and health apps targeted toward underserved groups. The projects were the following: Click to Connect, which was a community-based eHealth intervention that aimed to improve internet skills and health literacy among underserved groups by providing home access to high-speed internet, computer, and internet training classes, as well as a dedicated health web portal with ongoing technical support; PLANET MassCONECT, which was a knowledge translation project that built capacity among community-based organizations in Boston, Lawrence, and Worcester in Massachusetts to adopt evidence-based health promotion programs; and Smartphone App for Public Health, which was a mobile health research that facilitated both participatory (eg, surveys) and passive data (eg, geolocations and web-browsing behaviors) collection for the purpose of understanding tobacco message exposure in individuals’ built environment. Through our work, we distilled five key principles for researchers aiming to design eHealth interventions for underserved groups. They are as follows: develop a strategic road map to address communication inequalities (ie, a concrete action plan to identify the barriers faced by underserved groups and customize specific solutions to each of them), engage multiple stakeholders from the beginning for the long haul, design with usability—readability and navigability—in mind, build privacy safeguards into eHealth interventions and communicate privacy–utility tradeoffs in simplicity, and strive for an optimal balance between open science aspirations and protection of underserved groups.

Abstract
Background: With increasing accessibility of the World Wide Web, patients are using it to obtain patient education materials (PEM). With this in mind, our group (surgeons, radiation oncologists, medical oncologists, nursing, allied health professionals and academic researchers) developed a comprehensive information resource for patients with head and neck cancer (HNC), the Head and Neck Cancer Australia, formerly Beyond Five website. The aim of this study was to determine patient usability of the Head and Neck Cancer Australia website. Methods: Usability testing (Cognitive walkthrough & Think-Aloud) in 18 patients treated for HNC was undertaken at a Cancer centre (anonymous for reviewers). Results: The tasks rated easiest by patients were finding information on psychological well-being (mean time spent: 66 s, range: 10-565), health and well-being effecting quality of life (mean time spent: 36 s, range 9-117) and carer information (mean time spent: 10 s, range 3-35). Patients indicated the website contained a lot of information, covers most topics, was a trusted source of information and a springboard to other information. Conclusions: The Head and Neck Cancer Australia website provides a wide range of information and support in multiple formats available to HNC patients. Further refinements in design, navigation and website instructions are needed to allow effective patient interaction.

How Helpful and What Is the Quality of Digital Sources of Healthy Lifestyle Information Used by Australian Adolescents? A Mixed Methods Study. Abstract
To evaluate the digital platforms most used by adolescents for healthy lifestyle information, perceived helpfulness of platform information, helpfulness for positive behaviour changes, and quality of platforms’ lifestyle health information. Mixed-methods study including a cross-sectional online survey and content analysis. Eligible participants were 13–18-years; living in Australia; and had searched online for healthy lifestyle behaviour (nutrition, physical activity, weight management, sleep) information in the previous three months. Survey items examined the use of digital platforms, self-perceived helpfulness, usefulness for positive behaviour, and popular content. Data were analysed using descriptive statistics and ordinal logistic regression models. Content analysis was performed on popular digital content to evaluate expertise, objectivity, transparency, popularity, and relevance. In total, 297 participants completed the survey (62.3% female; 15.8 [SD1.5] years). Seventy-eight percent and 77% of participants reported using websites and social media, respectively, for seeking healthy lifestyle information. Websites and social media were rated as somewhat helpful by 43% and 46% of participants, respectively. Sixty-six percent and 53% of participants agreed/strongly agreed smartphone apps and social media were helpful for positive behaviour change, respectively. Helpfulness did not differ by age or gender. We evaluated 582 popular digital content; 38% were produced by a commercial company. Only 7% of content was from health organisations, 10% from health professionals and only 10% of content was objective, and 14% was transparent. Adolescents extensively utilise websites and social media for health information, yet popular content has limited objectivity and transparency. Governments and health organisations should consider creating age-appropriate digital information for healthy lifestyle behaviours.

Abstract
Background In the field of medicine and medical informatics, the importance of comprehensive metadata has long been recognized, and the composition of metadata has become its own field of profession and research. To ensure sustainable and meaningful metadata are maintained, standards and guidelines such as the FAIR (Findability, Accessibility, Interoperability, Reusability) principles have been published. The compilation and maintenance of metadata is performed by field experts supported by metadata management apps. The usability of these apps, for example, in terms of ease of use, efficiency, and error tolerance, crucially determines their benefit to those interested in the data. Objective This study aims to provide a metadata management app with high usability that assists scientists in compiling and using rich metadata. We aim to evaluate our recently developed interactive web app for our collaborative metadata repository (CoMetaR). This study reflects how real users perceive the app by assessing usability scores and explicit usability issues. Methods We evaluated the CoMetaR web app by measuring the usability of 3 modules: core module, provenance module, and data integration module. We defined 10 tasks in which users must acquire information specific to their user role. The participants were asked to complete the tasks in a live web meeting. We used the System Usability Scale questionnaire to measure the usability of the app. For qualitative analysis, we applied a modified think aloud method with the following thematic analysis and categorization into the ISO 9241-110 usability categories. Results A total of 12 individuals participated in the study. We found that over 97% (85/88) of all the tasks were completed successfully. We measured usability scores of 81, 81, and 72 for the 3 evaluated modules. The qualitative analysis resulted in 24 issues with the app. Conclusions A usability score of 81 implies very good usability for the 2 modules, whereas a usability score of 72 still indicates acceptable usability for the third module. We identified 24 issues that serve as starting points for further development. Our method proved to be effective and efficient in terms of effort and outcome. It can be adapted to evaluate apps within the medical informatics field and potentially beyond.

Facing the Growing COVID-19 Infodemic: Digital Health Literacy and Information-Seeking Behaviour of University Students in Slovenia. Abstract
The entire world is faced with the COVID-19 pandemic, which is also accompanied by an infodemic. This refers to the rapid spread of (accurate and false) information, mainly through internet usage increasing. Digital health literacy (DHL) is therefore important for addressing challenges related to online health information and services, as well as for navigation through the complex information landscape with huge amounts of different (and conflicting) information about COVID-19. The aim of this study is to examine the level of DHL in relation to COVID-19 in Slovenian university students and to determine online information-seeking behaviour in order to plan and prepare effective communication interventions for this sub-population. A cross-sectional survey, administered by an online questionnaire, was conducted to collect data on DHL. A total of 3621 students participated, of whom 70% were female and the average age was 22.65 years (SD = 4.65). Bivariate analyses were performed to assess the association of key characteristics with DHL. Overall, the results show that the level of DHL among students is sufficient. Most difficulties were reported in assessing the reliability of information (n = 1484, 49.3%). Approximately one third of the students (n = 847, 27.9%) reported having problems in finding information of their interest, and somewhat more (n = 900, 29.6%) reported difficulties in making a selection among all the information found. Students with a sufficient level of DHL are more likely to seek information through search engines and websites of official institutions, while students with a limited level of DHL more frequently reported using social media for health information searches. It is necessary to establish interventions for a systematic lift of the DHL and health literacy (HL) of all population groups.

Abstract
The internet serves as an accessible and confidential resource for young adolescents seeking nutritional information. However, the quality of information retrieved online is mixed and could have serious implications for users. Young adolescents who perceive themselves as overweight may be disproportionately affected as they are at greater risk for disordered eating. The current study aimed to (1) assess whether the frequency of use of different internet sources to obtain nutritional information differs between healthy weight young adolescents and those with overweight/obesity based on both objective and perceived weight status and (2) evaluate the relationships between different internet sources utilized for nutritional information and disordered eating. Young adolescents (n = 167; 10-15 years) completed the Children's Eating Attitudes Test (ChEAT; total disordered eating), indicated their perceived weight status, and reported how often they obtained nutritional information from the following internet sources: professional websites, personal websites, social media, commercial weight loss websites, and forums. Objective height and weight measurements were obtained. Young adolescents that perceived themselves to be a little overweight or overweight reported greater use of personal websites (p = .012), commercial weight loss websites (p = .011), and social media (p = .019) for nutritional information than those that did not perceive themselves to be a little overweight or overweight. The frequency of use of internet sources for nutritional information did not differ based on objective weight status. Greater use of each of the internet sources for nutritional information was related to greater disordered eating (p's < 0.05). While longitudinal research is needed to further examine these relationships, healthcare providers and teachers should provide young adolescents with guidance for interpreting and using online nutritional information to encourage valid and reliable health recommendations.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Medication is the most common intervention in health care, and the number of online consumer information systems within the pharmaceutical sector is increasing. However, online consumer information systems can be a barrier for users, imposing information asymmetries between stakeholders. OBJECTIVE The objective of this study was to quantify and compare the usability of an online consumer medication information system (OCMIS) against a reference implementation based on an interoperable information model for patients, physicians, and pharmacists. METHODS Quantitative and qualitative data were acquired from patients, physicians, and pharmacists in this online usability study. We administered 3 use cases and a post hoc questionnaire per user. Quantitative usability data including effectiveness (task success), efficiency (task time), and user satisfaction (system usability scale [SUS]) was complemented by qualitative and demographic data. Users evaluated 6 existing systems and 1 reference implementation of an OCMIS. RESULTS A total of 137 patients, 81 physicians, and 68 pharmacists participated in this study. Task success varied from 84% to 92% in patients, 66% to 100% in physicians, and 50% to 91% in pharmacists. Task completion time decreased over the course of the study for all but 2 OCMIS within the patient group. Due to an assumed nonnormal distribution of SUS scores, within-group comparison was done using the Kruskal-Wallis test. Patients showed differences in SUS scores (P=.02) and task time (P=.03), while physicians did not have significant differences in SUS scores (P=.83) and task time (P=.72). For pharmacists, a significant difference in SUS scores (P<.001) and task time (P=.007) was detected. CONCLUSIONS The vendor-neutral reference implementation based on an interoperable information model was proven to be a promising approach that was not inferior to existing solutions for patients and physicians. For pharmacists, it exceeded user satisfaction scores compared to other OCMIS. This data-driven approach based on an interoperable information model enables the development of more user-tailored features to increase usability. This fosters data democratization and empowers stakeholders within the pharmaceutical sector.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE To assess the role of trust when adolescents search for and appraise online health information. STUDY DESIGN A systematic search of online databases (MEDLINE, EMBASE, PsycINFO, and ERIC) was performed. Google Scholar and reference lists for included studies were manually searched for additional articles. Studies were included if they examined the role of trust when adolescents (in the 13- to 18-year-old age range) searched for and/or appraised online health information. Findings were synthesized using thematic analysis. RESULTS There were 22 studies that met the inclusion criteria. Four key themes were identified: adolescents generally distrust the Internet but use it anyway (subthemes were why adolescents distrust online health information; why adolescents still use online health information), adolescents use heuristics to appraise the trustworthiness of online health information (subthemes were different heuristics used by different adolescents, range of heuristics used by adolescents), adolescents trust websites more than social media or social networking sites, and adolescents' level of trust in online health information guides their actions and responses. CONCLUSIONS Adolescents often distrust health information from the Internet, but continue to use it. Adolescents are aware of the need to evaluate the trustworthiness of online health information; however, their approaches vary in sophistication. As the reach and content of the Internet expands, it is important to equip adolescents with effective eHealth literacy to assess the trustworthiness of online health information.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Although we know that many young people watch online pornography and engage in sexting, there is limited literature examining their needs in relation to information on these highly sensitive and complex issues. Online resources exist; however, we can find no evidence of any of them having been formally tested for usability within the target population. OBJECTIVE This study aimed to test the usability of a resource about online pornography and sexting among young people. METHODS Semistructured interviews were conducted with 17 participants aged 15 to 29 years. RESULTS We found that the SCOPE resource was perceived as trustworthy and credible because of its evidence-based content, nonjudgmental tone, and balanced perspectives. Multimedia and video content enhanced the layout and usability of the resource; however, content relevance could be improved by targeting age and developmental stages. Participants identified resource sections such as Real Stories from young people as relevant and engaging. However, they raised issues with the translation of formative research findings relating to these stories into their final presentation. CONCLUSIONS Our findings suggest that young people prefer online resources about complex issues, such as online pornography and sexting, if they are balanced in content and tone. Most importantly, in the context of responding to complex and sensitive issues such as these, co-design methods can ensure that young people are central to the development of resources and avoid gaps in translating research into practice. In the context of limited literature focusing on the usability of online resources about these topics, this paper provides important insights for public health practitioners working in this emerging space.
