Abstract
Broadband ultraviolet (UV) excitation and red/far-red emission phosphors can effectively convert solar spectrum to enhance photosynthesis and promote morphogenesis in plants. Based on the above application requirements, Eu3+ single-doped LaAl1-yGayO3 solid solutions and Eu3+,Mn4+ codoped LaAl0.7Ga0.3O3 phosphors were designed and synthesized in this work. The LaAl0.7Ga0.3O3:0.05Eu3+ (LAG:Eu3+) phosphor exhibits a strong charge transfer band (CTB) excitation and characteristic 5D0 → 7F2 transition red emission (619 nm), which is very similar to the luminescence properties of Eu3+-organic ligand compound (EuL3). Rietveld refinement studies further revealed that the cation substitution disturbs the site symmetry. The optimal Eu3+, Mn4+ co-doped LaAl0.7Ga0.3O3 (LAG:Eu,Mn) phosphor possesses a dual-band excitation spectrum in broadband ultraviolet (UVA, UVB) area and a dual-band emission spectrum within red/far-red area. Under the sunlight radiation, the real-time spectrum of luminous laminated glasses fabricated by coating the LAG:Eu,Mn phosphor shows the percentage of radiant intensity in the red/far-red region significantly increases, suggesting that the phosphor can be a promising candidate for solar spectral conversion in plant cultivation. We believe this work provides a new idea for developing novel broadband ultraviolet excitation and red/far-red emission phosphors.

Abstract
AIMS To systematically review existing evidence and assess the effectiveness of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy for people with advanced cancer. DESIGN Systematic review and meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials. DATA SOURCES Nine databases, including PubMed, Web of Science, Cochrane Library, Embase, CINAHL, PsycINFO, Chinese National Knowledge Infrastructure, VIP Database and Wanfang, were searched. The search covered the period between the inception of the selected databases and August 2022. REVIEW METHODS Two authors independently examined eligible studies and appraised the methodological quality of the included studies by applying the criteria suggested by the Cochrane Effective Practice and Organization of Care followed by data abstraction. The Template for Intervention Description and Replication (TIDieR) checklist was used to identify intervention characteristics. Meta-analysis was performed using RevMan 5.4 software, and the Grading of Recommendations Assessment, Development and Evaluation (GRADE) approach was used to evaluate the certainty of evidence. RESULTS Eight studies, involving 488 people with advanced cancer, were included. The results showed significant effects of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy on the improvement of quality of life and the alleviation of anxiety, depression, psychological distress and fatigue in people with advanced cancer. However, its effects in relieving psychological flexibility and pain were not statistically significant. The certainty of the evidence was low to moderate. CONCLUSION People with advanced cancer can benefit from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, which is conducive to improving their health outcomes. IMPACT This review provides evidence about the effectiveness of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy in people with advanced cancer. Further well-designed studies with larger sample sizes are required. This review may help nurses and researchers to design and implement Acceptance and Commitment Therapy in clinical practice, thereby improving health outcomes in this population. Abstract
Type 1 diabetes (T1D) is a disease in which autoimmune attacks are directed at the insulin-producing β-cell in the pancreatic islet. Autoantigens on the β-cell surface membrane are specific markers for molecular recognition and targets for engagement by autoreactive B lymphocytes, which produce islet cell surface autoantibody (ICSA) upon activation. We report the cloning of an ICSA (mAb43) that recognizes a major T1D autoantigen, ZnT8, with a subnanomolar binding affinity and conformation specificity. We demonstrate that cell-surface binding of mAb43 protects the extracellular epitope of ZnT8 against immunolabeling by serum ICSA from a patient with T1D. Furthermore, mAb43 exhibits in vitro and ex vivo specificity for islet cells, mirroring the exquisite specificity of islet autoimmunity in T1D. Systemic administration of mAb43 yields a pancreas-specific biodistribution in mice and islet homing of an mAb43-linked imaging payload through the pancreatic vasculature, thereby validating the in vivo specificity of mAb43. Identifying ZnT8 as a major antigenic target of ICSA allows for research into the molecular recognition and engagement of autoreactive B cells in the chronic phase of T1D progression. The in vivo islet specificity of mAb43 could be further exploited to develop in vivo imaging and islet-specific immunotherapies.

Abstract
Pyxinol skeleton is a promising framework of anti-inflammatory agents formed in the human liver from 20S-protopanaxadiol, the main active aglycone of ginsenosides. In the present study, a new series of amino acid-containing derivatives were produced from 12-dehydropyxinol, a pyxinol oxidation metabolite, and its anti-inflammatory activity was assessed using an NO inhibition assay. Interestingly, the dehydrogenation at C-12 of pyxinol derivatives improved their potency greatly. Furthermore, half of the derivatives exhibited better NO inhibitory activity than hydrocortisone sodium succinate, a glucocorticoid drug. The structure-activity relationship analysis indicated that the kinds of amino acid residues and their hydrophilicity influenced the activity to a great extent, as did R/S stereochemistry at C-24. Of the various derivatives, 5c with an N-Boc-protected phenylalanine residue showed the highest NO inhibitory activity and relatively low cytotoxicity. Moreover, derivative 5c could dose-dependently suppress iNOS, IL-1β, and TNF-α via the MAPK and NF-κB pathways, but not the GR pathway. Overall, pyxinol derivatives hold potential for application as anti-inflammatory agents.

Abstract
While worldwide prevention efforts for type 1 diabetes (T1D) are underway to abrogate or slow progression to diabetes, mass screening of islet autoantibodies (IAbs) in the general population is urgently needed. IAbs, the most reliable biomarkers, play an essential role in prediction and clinical diagnosis of T1D. Through laboratory proficiency programs and harmonization efforts, a radio-binding assay (RBA) has been well established as the current 'gold' standard assay for all four IAbs. However, in view of the need for large-scale screening in the non-diabetic population, RBA consistently faces two fundamental challenges, cost-efficiency and disease specificity. While all four IAbs are important for disease prediction, the RBA platform, with a separate IAb test format is laborious, inefficient and expensive. Furthermore, the majority of IAb positivity in screening, especially from individuals with single IAb were found to be low risk with low affinity. It is well documented from multiple clinical studies that IAbs with low affinity are low risk with less or no disease relevance. At present, two non-radioactive multiplex assays, a 3-assay ELISA combining three IAbs and a multiplex ECL assay combining all four IAbs, have been successfully used as the primary methods for general population screenings in Germany and the US, respectively. Recently, the TrialNet Pathway to Prevention study has been organizing an IAb workshop which aims to analyze the 5-year T1D predictive values of IAbs. A T1D-specific assay with high efficiency, low cost and requiring low volume of sample will definitely be necessary to benefit general population screening.

Abstract
There are few estimates of the seroprevalence of SARS-CoV-2 antibodies among children in the United States. We measured vaccine and infection induced seroprevalence among nearly 5000 healthy 1 to 17-year-old children in Colorado from 2020 to 2021. By December 2021, 89% of older children, ages 12 to 18, had antibodies detected. The increase was largely driven from vaccination rather than infection.

Abstract
The input and deployment of human resources, such as senior executives and the core employees involved in different innovation processes, is key to developing enterprise innovation activities. Under the same framework, it is crucial to explore how employee equity incentive and senior executives' psychological capital affect enterprise innovation. This paper's research sample comprises listed companies that implemented equity incentives in the A-share market from 2010 to 2021, examining the relationship between executive psychological capital, and enterprise innovation. This study found that: (1) Employee equity incentive and executives' psychological capital can significantly improve the quality of innovation output while promoting enterprises to increase the quantity of innovation outputs; (2) Executive psychological capital contributes to the intermediary effect between employee equity incentive and enterprise innovation; (3) R&D investment has a positive moderating effect on employee equity incentive, senior executives' psychological capital and enterprise innovation; (4) The innovation incentive effect brought by the implementation of stock options by enterprises is more significant, which also makes the psychological capital of executives maintain a positive role in enterprise innovation; (5) In addition, the positive effects of employee equity incentive and executive psychological capital on enterprise innovation are affected by different property rights. The positive effects of employee equity incentive and executive psychological capital on enterprise innovation in state-owned enterprises are not high.

Abstract
At low inner mitochondrial membrane potential (ΔΨ) oxaloacetate (OAA) accumulates in the organelles concurrently with decreased complex II-energized respiration. This is consistent with ΔΨ-dependent OAA inhibition of succinate dehydrogenase. To assess the metabolic importance of this process, we tested the hypothesis that perturbing metabolic clearance of OAA in complex II-energized mitochondria would alter O2 flux and, further, that this would occur in both ΔΨ and tissue-dependent fashion. We carried out respiratory and metabolite studies in skeletal muscle and interscapular brown adipose tissue (IBAT) directed at the effect of OAA transamination to aspartate (catalyzed by the mitochondrial form of glutamic-oxaloacetic transaminase, Got2) on complex II-energized respiration. Addition of low amounts of glutamate to succinate-energized mitochondria at low ΔΨ increased complex II (succinate)-energized respiration in muscle but had little effect in IBAT mitochondria. The transaminase inhibitor, aminooxyacetic acid, increased OAA concentrations and impaired succinate-energized respiration in muscle but not IBAT mitochondria at low but not high ΔΨ. Immunoblotting revealed that Got2 expression was far greater in muscle than IBAT mitochondria. Because we incidentally observed metabolism of OAA to pyruvate in IBAT mitochondria, more so than in muscle mitochondria, we also examined the expression of mitochondrial oxaloacetate decarboxylase (ODX). ODX was detected only in IBAT mitochondria. In summary, at low but not high ΔΨ, mitochondrial transamination clears OAA preventing loss of complex II respiration: a process far more active in muscle than IBAT mitochondria. We also provide evidence that OAA decarboxylation clears OAA to pyruvate in IBAT mitochondria.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Nurse managers play a pivotal role in quality patient care and staff satisfaction and retention. An overwhelming amount of work tasks and responsibilities might result in their sleep problems which are expected to aggravate in the context of the COVID-19, thereby affecting their overall health and work quality. However, little attention has been paid to sleep quality among nurse managers. This study aimed to investigate the prevalence of sleep disorders among nurse managers and identify related factors of sleep quality during regular prevention and control of the COVID-19 pandemic in China. METHODS This cross-sectional online survey was conducted in 14 hospitals on a sample of 327 nurse managers in China. Participants were invited to complete the general demographic questionnaire, Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) and Simplified Coping Style Questionnaire (SCSQ). Multiple linear regression analysis was used to explore the influencing factors of sleep quality among nurse managers. RESULTS In this study, 43.7% of nurse managers suffered from sleep disorders. Active coping style and frequent exercise were positive factors that could influence nurse managers' sleep quality, while passive coping style and age over 41 years old were negative predictors, collectively accounting for 52.0% of the variance of sleep quality. CONCLUSIONS The issue of sleep disorders among nurse managers during regular epidemic prevention and control period is underscored. Coping style and demographic factors including age and frequency of exercise can significantly affect nurse managers' sleep quality. Healthcare administrators should pay more attention to nurse managers' sleep disorders and implement targeted strategies based on influencing factors to ensure their sleep quality.

Abstract
Arabidopsis BAK1/SERK3, a co-receptor of leucine-rich repeat pattern recognition receptors (PRRs), mediates pattern-triggered immunity (PTI). Genetic inactivation of BAK1 or BAK1-interacting receptor-like kinases (BIRs) causes cell death, but the direct mechanisms leading to such deregulation remains unclear. Here, we found that the TIR-NBS-LRR protein CONSTITUTIVE SHADE AVOIDANCE 1 (CSA1) physically interacts with BIR3, but not with BAK1. CSA1 mediates cell death in bak1-4 and bak1-4 bir3-2 mutants via components of effector-triggered immunity-(ETI) pathways. Effector HopB1-mediated perturbation of BAK1 also results in CSA1-dependent cell death. Likewise, microbial pattern pg23-induced cell death, but not PTI responses, requires CSA1. Thus, we show that CSA1 guards BIR3 BAK1 homeostasis and integrates pattern- and effector-mediated cell death pathways downstream of BAK1. De-repression of CSA1 in the absence of intact BAK1 and BIR3 triggers ETI cell death. This suggests that PTI and ETI pathways are activated downstream of BAK1 for efficient plant immunity.

Abstract
All-inorganic perovskite quantum dots (PQDs, CsPbX3, X = Cl, Br, and I) show outstanding application prospects in the field of photoelectric devices. In recent years, the development of PQDs has greatly improved their stability to water, oxygen, and light. However, thermal quenching of PQDs greatly limits their practical application. Herein, we embed PQDs into ATiO3 (A = Ca, Ba, and Sr) of three different mesoporous spherical structures to explore the effect on thermal quenching of PQDs. Because of the unique mesoporous hollow microsphere structure and low thermal conductivity of SrTiO3, it can effectively block the heat transfer and improve the thermal quenching of PQDs. The photoluminescence (PL) intensity of CsPbBr3@SrTiO3 composites is 72.6% of the initial intensity after heating to 120 °C. Moreover, the PL intensity of CsPbBr3@SrTiO3 composites remains about 80% of the initial value even when stored in air for 20 days or irradiated by 365 nm UV light for 48 h. A neutral white light-emitting diode is assembled by a blue chip, CsPbBr3@SrTiO3 composites, and red phosphor of K2SiF6:Mn4+, which has a color temperature of 5389 K and a color gamut covered 133% of National Television Standards Committee (NTSC).

Abstract
An automated camera exposure control method, which allows a two-camera stereo-digital image correlation (stereo-DIC) system to capture high-quality speckle image pairs, is presented for accuracy-enhanced stereo-DIC measurement. By using this method, the two synchronized cameras can automatically determine the optimal camera exposure and ideal average grayscale for capturing the optimal reference image pair in the reference state. Furthermore, high-quality deformed image pairs can be recorded during the test by adaptively adjusting the camera exposure in case of serious ambient light variations. Validation tests, including varying illumination tests and translation tests, were performed to verify the effectiveness and robustness of this method. Experimental results indicate that the proposed method overperforms the existing stereo-DIC technique with empirically determined fixed camera exposure time. The practicality of the proposed automated camera exposure control method was verified using real high-temperature experiments.

Abstract
We assessed the prevalence of two novel islet autoantibodies, those targeting ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme 2L3 (UBE2L3) and eukaryote translation elongation factor 1 α1 (eEF1A1), in type 1 diabetes mellitus (T1DM) to evaluate their utility in T1DM diagnosis with comparison to other islet autoantibodies. We also aimed to determine whether age and ethnicity impacted their diagnostic value. Electrochemiluminescence assay was used to detect UBE2L3-Ab and eEF1A1-Ab in 193 Chinese Han and 570 American Caucasian subjects with T1DM, and 282 Chinese Han and 199 American Caucasian controls. In Chinese and American cohorts, the UBE2L3-Ab cut-off indices were 0.039 and 0.038, and the eEF1A1-Ab cut-off indices were 0.048 and 0.050, respectively. The prevalence of UBE2L3-Ab was significantly higher in the Chinese (9.33%) and American (3.86%) subjects with T1DM than in the controls (P < 0.05). The prevalence of UBE2L3-Ab in T1DM was significantly higher in Chinese than in American (P < 0.05). Albeit not statistically significant, the prevalence of UBE2L3-Ab in T1DM was slightly higher in children than in adults of both ethnicities. The differences in eEF1A1-Ab levels between subjects with T1DM and controls were not significant. Meanwhile, all American subjects with UBE2L3-Ab also harbored glutamic acid decarboxylase autoantibody (GADA) or insulin autoantibody (IAA). In contrast, 2.07% of the Chinese subjects with UBE2L3-Ab positive were previously classified as autoantibody-negative based on GADA and IAA. So the prevalence of UBE2L3-Ab in T1DM patients was significantly higher than in controls and was variable according to ethnicity as well as tended to be higher in children than adults. However, UBE2L3-Ab and eEF1A1-Ab may not be reliable diagnostic biomarkers forT1DM.

Abstract
BACKGROUND The number of patients with advanced cancer is rapidly increasing, and the subgroup of this population with low socioeconomic status has suffered more disease burden than others. However, there is no recent qualitative synthesis of primary research studies into advanced cancer patients with low socioeconomic status. OBJECTIVE To synthesise qualitative research findings into advanced cancer patients' experiences with low socioeconomic status, and then to help provide targeted and effective strategies to improve their quality of life. DESIGN A systematic review and meta-synthesis of qualitative evidence (PROSPERO: CRD42021250423). DATA SOURCES PubMed, Web of Science Core Collection (ISI Web of Science), Cochrane Library, Embase, OVID LWW, CINAHL Complete (EBSCO), PsycINFO (EBSCO) and MEDLINE (ISI Web of Science), China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI), WangFang, and Vip databases were systematically searched from their original dates to July 2022. Qualitative data were appraised using the Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI) qualitative assessment. FINDINGS The findings were synthesised into the following three analytical themes: (1) multi-dimensional disease distresses; (2) barriers in coping with disease distresses; and (3) strategies for dealing with disease distresses. CONCLUSIONS Patients with advanced cancer with low socioeconomic status experienced complicated and interactional distresses, unique life barriers, and a wide range of adaptation strategies. These findings will provide a comprehensive perspective to promote individual-centred health care systems and services to help these vulnerable people deal with the challenges of disease and improve their quality of life.

Abstract
Limited empirical studies were identified to quantify parenting stress in parents of children with nephrotic syndrome (NS). This cross-sectional study aimed to address this gap by examining the prevalence and factors associated with parenting stress. Two hundred two Chinese parents of children with NS were investigated by using the Parenting Stress Index-Short Form (PSI-SF), the Parenting Sense of Competence Scale (PSCS), the Social Support Rating Scale (SSRS), and a demographic questionnaire. The results showed that parents of children with NS experienced higher parenting stress, and 67.8% of participants reported clinical levels of parenting stress. Fathers, parents with a primary education background, low social support and parenting sense of competence, and children with a prolonged treatment childhood NS reported higher parenting stress. Developing corresponding improvement interventions targeting parenting sense of competence, or providing extra disease-related support and education for parents might lessen parenting stress.

Abstract
Barley (Hordeum vulgare L.) grain is rich in fiber and antioxidant phytochemicals, including fatty acids, proteins, phenolic compounds, vitamins, and minerals, that offer various health benefits. Research on identifying different barley genotypes based on their health attributes is very limited. In this study, we performed an analysis of fatty acids, proteins, ascorbic acid, phenolic compounds, and antioxidant activity of several Canadian barley cultivars and elite breeding lines. Linoleic acid (C18:2) was the predominant fatty acid present in the tested barley cultivars. The cultivar CDC Bold contained the highest amount of ascorbic acid, while the highest protein content was in CDC Mindon. An assessment of the free and bound phenolic compounds of barley grains showed quantitative changes among different genotypes of Canadian barley. Catechin is the most abundant molecule in free phenolics, while ferulic acid and para-coumeric acid are the most abundant in bound phenolics. Ferulic acid and vanillic acid were molecules detected in the soluble free fraction of all genotypes. Para-coumeric acid was detected only in genotypes such as CDC Copeland, CDC Bold, Lowe, and elite breeding Line 5 of both free and bound fractions of barley. Breeding Line 5 had the lowest antioxidant activity. An analysis of the above molecules and parameters of Canadian barley would help to uncover potential biomarkers in order to distinguish individual barley genotypes.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Glibenclamide is a promising agent for treating brain oedema, but whether it improves clinical outcomes in patients with intracerebral haemorrhage (ICH) remains unclear. In this study, we aimed to explore the efficacy and safety of glibenclamide treatment in patients with acute ICH. METHODS The Glibenclamide Advantage in Treating Oedema after Intracerebral Haemorrhage (GATE-ICH) study was a randomised controlled phase 2 clinical trial conducted in 26 hospitals in the northwest of China, recruiting patients with acute ganglia ICH no more than 72 h after onset from Dec 12, 2018 to Sept 23, 2020. During the first 7 days after enrolment, patients randomly assigned to the glibenclamide group were given glibenclamide orally (1.25 mg, 3/day) and standard care, while patients randomly assigned to the control group were given standard care alone. The computer-generated randomisation sequence was prepared by a statistician not involved in the rest of the study. Randomisation was computer-generated with a block size of four. The allocation results were unblinded to participants and investigators. The primary outcome was the percentage of patients with poor outcome (defined as modified Rankin Scale [mRS] score of ≥3) at day 90. The trial was registered at ClinicalTrials.gov (NCT03741530). FINDINGS 220 participants were randomised and 200 participants (mean [standard deviation] age, 56 [11] years; sex, 128 [64.0%] male and 72 [36.0%] female) were included in the final analysis, with 101 participants randomly assigned to the control group and 99 to the glibenclamide group. The incidence of poor outcome at day 90 was 20/99 (20.2%) in glibenclamide group and 30/101 (29.7%) in control group (absolute difference, 9.5%; 95% confidence interval [CI], -3.2%-21.8%; P = 0.121) with adjusted odds ratios of 0.54 (95% CI, 0.24-1.20; P = 0.129). No significant difference was found in the overall rates of adverse events or serious adverse events between groups. However, the incidence of asymptomatic hypoglycaemia was significantly higher in glibenclamide group than control group (15/99 [15.2%] vs 0/101 [0.0%]; absolute difference, 15.2%; 95% CI, 7.5%-24.1%; P < 0.001). INTERPRETATION Our study provides no evidence that glibenclamide (1.25 mg, 3/day) significantly reduces the proportion of poor outcome at day 90 after ICH. In addition, glibenclamide could result in higher incidence of hypoglycaemia. Larger trials of glibenclamide with optimised medication regimen are warranted. Abstract
Repetitive transcranial megnetic stimulation (rTMS) has been widely used in patients with psychiatric disorders. Previous studies revealed good efficacy of rTMS for patients with obsession-compulsive disorder (OCD) and Tic disorder (TD). OCD and TD are closely related and considered to etiologically overlap. Patients with the co-occurrence of OCD and TD are often identified. Therefore, we conducted a quick review of rTMS for the treatment of these two diseases to compare the similarities and differences of rTMS for OCD and TD, which might provide an indication for the treatment of the co-occurrence of OCD and TD. We searched articles published in PubMed, Wanfang, and Web of Science from January 2001 to January 2022. Both inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria were developed to identify the relevant included studies. Data on the frequency, target area, sample size, and number of males, especially the rTMS treatment procedure or parameters, were extracted in the included studies. We included 26 studies on OCD and 12 studies on TD in this quick review. A total of 996 participants were included. Based on the review of the included studies, lowfrequency rTMS might be used more than high-frequency rTMS, and the supplementary motor area (SMA) might show better efficacy than the dorsolateral prefrontal cortex (DLPFC) in OCD. For patients with TD, low-frequency rTMS located in the SMA might show good efficacy both in OCD and TD. Our quick review elaborated the treatment efficacy of rTMS for both patients with OCD and those with TD. It seems that the SMA is an important target choice for both OCD and TD patients. Low-frequency rTMS might be used more than high-frequency rTMS in both OCD and TD patients. In future studies, we should explore more about the efficacy of rTMS for patients with co-occurring OCD and TD, especially for the efficacy of targeted SMA with low frequency.

We propose a new name, Rubusloirensis Ti R. Huang nom. nov. to replace the later homonym of R.pycnanthus Genev. Additionally, lectotypification of three names, R.davidianus Kuntze, R.malifolius Focke and R.viburnifolius Franch., are designated here after examination of previous works.

Abstract
Junctophilin-2 (JP2) is a critical structural protein in the heart by stabilizing junctional membrane complexes between the plasma membrane and sarcoplasmic reticula responsible for precise Ca2+ regulation. Such complexes are essential for efficient cardiomyocyte contraction and adaptation to altered cardiac workload conditions. Mutations in the JPH2 gene that encodes JP2 are associated with inherited cardiomyopathies and arrhythmias, and disruption of JP2 function is lethal. Interestingly, cardiac stress promotes the proteolytic cleavage of JP2 that triggers the translocation of its N-terminal fragment into the nucleus to repress maladaptive gene transcription. We previously found that the central region of JP2 is responsible for mediating direct DNA binding interactions. Recent structural studies indicate that this region serves as a structural role in the cytosolic form of JP2 by folding into a single continuous α-helix. However, the structural basis of how this DNA-binding domain interacts with DNA is not known. Here, we report the backbone and sidechain assignments of the DNA-binding domain (residues 331-413) of mouse JP2. These assignments reveal that the JP2 DNA binding domain is an intrinsically disordered protein and contains two α-helices located in the C-terminal portion of the protein. Moreover, this protein binds to DNA in a similar manner to that shown previously by electrophoretic mobility shift assays. Therefore, these assignments provide a framework for further structural studies into the interaction of this JP2 domain with DNA for the elucidation of transcriptional regulation of stress-responsive genes as well as its role in the stabilization of junctional membrane complexes.

Abstract
Glomerular endothelial cell (GEC) dysfunction can initiate and contribute to glomerular filtration barrier breakdown. Increased mitochondrial oxidative stress has been suggested as a mechanism resulting in GEC dysfunction in the pathogenesis of some glomerular diseases. Historically the isolation of GECs from in vivo models has been notoriously challenging due to difficulties in isolating pure cultures from glomeruli. GECs have complex growth requirements in vitro and a very limited lifespan. Here, we describe the procedure for isolating and culturing conditionally immortalized GECs with fluorescent mitochondria, enabling the tracking of mitochondrial fission and fusion events. GECs were isolated from the kidneys of a double transgenic mouse expressing the thermolabile SV40 TAg (from the Immortomouse), conditionally promoting proliferation and suppressing cell differentiation, and a photo-convertible fluorescent protein (Dendra2) in all mitochondria (from the photo-activatable mitochondria [PhAMexcised] mouse). The stable cell line generated allows for cell differentiation after inactivation of the immortalizing SV40 TAg gene and photo-activation of a subset of mitochondria causing a switch in fluorescence from green to red. The use of mitoDendra2-GECs allows for live imaging of fluorescent mitochondria's distribution, fusion, and fission events without staining the cells.

Abstract
T cell receptor (TCR) sequences are exceptionally diverse and can now be comprehensively measured with next-generation sequencing technologies. However, a thorough investigation of longitudinal TCR repertoires throughout childhood in health and during development of a common childhood disease, type 1 diabetes (T1D), has not been undertaken. Here, we deep sequenced the TCR-β chain repertoires from longitudinal peripheral blood DNA samples at 4 time points beginning early in life (median age of 1.4 years) from children who progressed to T1D (n = 29) and age/sex-matched islet autoantibody-negative controls (n = 25). From 53 million TCR-β sequences, we show that the repertoire is extraordinarily diverse early in life and narrows with age independently of disease. We demonstrate the ability to identify specific TCR sequences, including those known to recognize influenza A and, separately, those specific for insulin and its precursor, preproinsulin. Insulin-reactive TCR-β sequences were more common and frequent in number as the disease progressed in those who developed T1D compared with genetically at risk nondiabetic children, and this was not the case for influenza-reactive sequences. As an independent validation, we sequenced and analyzed TCR-β repertoires from a cohort of new-onset T1D patients (n = 143), identifying the same preproinsulin-reactive TCRs. These results demonstrate an enrichment of preproinsulin-reactive TCR sequences during the progression to T1D, highlighting the importance of using disease-relevant TCR sequences as powerful biomarkers in autoimmune disorders.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Measuring pain on digital devices using classic unidimensional pain scales such as the visual analog scale (VAS), numerical rating scale (NRS), and faces pain scale (FPS) has been proven to be reliable and valid. Emoji are pictographs designed in colorful form following the Unicode standard. It could be more beneficial to use emoji as faces of FPS on digital devices because emoji can easily fit on most devices and emoji are open-source so no approval would be needed before use. With a concise and user-friendly design, the emoji faces pain scale (Emoji-FPS) might be more generalizable to a wider population and more preferred by digital device users. OBJECTIVE This study was designed to develop an Emoji-FPS as well as to evaluate its reliability, validity, and preference on mobile devices in adult patients who underwent surgery. METHODS A modified Delphi technique with 2 rounds of web-based surveys was applied to obtain panelists' consensus on the sequence of emoji that can best represent 6 levels of pain. The initial candidate sequences of emoji for the Delphi process were constructed referring to 2 well-validated FPSs (Wong-Baker FACES pain rating scale [Wong-Baker FACES] and faces pain scale-revised [FPS-R]). Then, a prospective cohort of patients scheduled to receive perianal surgery was recruited and asked to complete a web-based questionnaire on a mobile device at 5 time points (before surgery [T1], wake up after surgery [T2], 4 hours after surgery [T3], the second day after surgery [T4], and 15 minutes after T4 [T5]). The 4 well-validated pain scales (NRS, VAS, Wong-Baker FACES, and FPS-R) were used as reference scales. RESULTS After 2 rounds of surveys on 40 Delphi panelists, an Emoji-FPS was finally determined to represent 6 pain levels (0, 2, 4, 6, 8, and 10) from "no hurt" to "hurts worst." For validation, 300 patients were recruited and 299 were analyzed, the mean age of whom was 38.5 (SD 10.5) years, and 106 (35.5%) were women. For concurrent validity, the Emoji-FPS was highly correlated with 4 reference scales with Spearman correlation coefficient ρ ranging from 0.91 to 0.95. Excellent agreements were observed between 4 versions of Emoji-FPS (iOS, Android, Microsoft, and OpenMoji), with weighted κ coefficients ranging from 0.96 to 0.97. For discriminant validity, patients' mean preoperative Emoji-FPS score (T1) was significantly higher than their postoperative Emoji-FPS score (T4) with a difference of 1.4 (95% CI 1.3-1.6; P<.001). For test-retest reliability, Emoji-FPS scores measured at T4 and T5 were highly correlated with a ρ of 0.91. The Emoji-FPS was mostly preferred, followed by the Wong-Baker FACES, FPS-R, NRS, and VAS. CONCLUSIONS The Emoji-FPS is reliable and valid compared with traditional pain scales in adult surgery patients.

Abstract
Background This study aims to develop and validate a nomogram for predicting 1- and 2-year generalization probabilities in patients with ocular myasthenia gravis (OMG). Methods In total, 501 eligible patients with OMG treated at seven tertiary hospitals in China between January 2015 and May 2019 were included. The primary outcome measure was disease generalization. A nomogram for predicting 1- and 2-year generalization probabilities was constructed using a stepwise Cox regression model. Nomogram performance was quantified using C-indexes and calibration curves. Two-year cumulative generalization rates were analyzed using the Kaplan−Meier method for distinct nomogram-stratified risk groups. The clinical usefulness of the nomogram was evaluated using decision curve analysis (DCA). Result The eligible patients were randomly divided into a development cohort (n=351, 70%) and a validation cohort (n=150, 30%). The final model included five variables: sex, onset age, repetitive nerve stimulation findings, acetylcholine receptor antibody test results, and thymic status. The model demonstrated good discrimination (C-indexes of 0.733 and 0.788 in the development and validation cohorts, respectively) and calibration, with good agreement between actual and nomogram-estimated generalization probabilities. Kaplan−Meier curves revealed higher 2-year cumulative generalization rates in the high-risk group than that in the low-risk group. DCA demonstrated a higher net benefit of nomogram-assisted decisions compared to treatment of all patients or none. Conclusion The nomogram model can predict 1- and 2-year generalization probabilities in patients with OMG and stratified these patients into distinct generalization risk groups. The nomogram has potential to aid neurologists in selecting suitable patients for initiating immunotherapy and for enrolment in clinical trials of risk-modifying treatments.

Abstract
An ongoing clinical trial, Autoimmunity Screening for Kids (ASK), is the first screening study in the general population for type 1 diabetes (T1D) and celiac disease in the United States. With the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic, the epidemiology of COVID-19 in the general population and knowledge about the association between COVID-19 infection and T1D development are urgently needed. The currently standard screening method of the radio-binding assay (RBA) has met two great challenges: low efficiency with a single assay format and low disease specificity with a large proportion of low-affinity antibodies generated in screening. With the platform of the multiplex electrochemiluminescence (ECL) assay we established previously, a novel 6-Plex ECL assay was developed that combines, in a single well, all four islet autoantibodies (IAbs) to insulin, glutamic acid decarboxylase (GAD65), insulinoma antigen 2 (IA-2), and Zinc transporter 8 (ZnT8) for T1D, transglutaminase autoantibodies (TGA) for celiac disease, and severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) receptor-binding domain (RBD) antibodies for COVID-19. The assay was validated in blind using 880 samples from the ASK study, including 325 positive samples and 555 all antibody-negative samples, and compared with the standard RBAs and a single ECL assay. With the advantages of high efficiency, low cost, and low serum volume, this assay has been accepted as the primary screening tool for the ASK study.

Abstract
Objective: Large-scale screening of the general population for islet autoantibodies (IAbs) to detect type 1 diabetes (T1D) has started worldwide. The standard screening method of separate radio-binding assay (RBA) for each IAb is an inefficient bottleneck. Furthermore, most positive results by RBA in screening of general population individuals without a clinical diagnosis of T1D are low-affinity and not predictive of future diabetes. Research Design and Methods: We have developed and validated a novel 6-Plex assay based on electrochemiluminescence (ECL) technology that combines in a single well high-affinity IAbs (to insulin, GAD, IA-2, and ZnT8), transglutaminase autoantibodies for celiac disease, and severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 antibodies. The Autoimmunity Screening for Kids (ASK) provided 880 serum samples, from 828 children aged 1-17 years without diabetes who were previously tested for IAbs using single ECL assays and RBA assays. Results: Levels of all six antibodies in the 6-Plex ECL assay correlated well with respective single ECL assay levels. Similar to single ECL assays, the 6-Plex ECL assay positivity was congruent with the RBA in 95% (35/37) of children who later developed T1D and in 88% (105/119) high-risk children with multiple IAbs. In contrast, only 56% (86/154, P < 0.0001) of children with persistent single IAb by RBA were found to be positive by 6-Plex ECL assay. Of 555 samples negative for all IAbs by RBA, few (0.2%-0.5%) were positive at low levels in the 6-Plex ECL assay. Conclusions: The study demonstrated that the 6-Plex ECL assay compares favorably to the standard RBAs in terms of disease specificity for general population screening in children. The 6-Plex ECL assay was therefore adopted as the primary screening tool in the general population screening ASK program with advantages of high efficiency, low cost, and low serum volume.

Abstract
Background Whether knowledge, attitude and practice of nurses on nursing post-stroke dysphagia patients varies between different ranking hospitals is still unknown. This study aimed to compare the knowledge, attitude and practice level of nurses on nursing post-stroke dysphagia patients between iii-A and ii-A hospitals in China. Design A cross-sectional study design was used. Methods Data were collected from eighteen hospitals in Wuhan, Hubei in May–July 2020, and a total of 824 nurses were recruited by convenient sampling. After propensity score matching, 205 participants in iii-A hospitals were matched with 205 participants in ii-A hospitals. Results There were no statistically differences in the socio-demographic characteristics between two groups after propensity score matching. Before matching, the regression coefficients between hospital ranking and knowledge, attitude, practice were -0.415, -0.718 and -1.855, respectively. After matching, the coefficients changed to -0.394, -0.824 and -1.278. Nurses from iii-A hospitals had higher knowledge and attitude scores than nurses from ii-A hospitals, but no significant practice scores difference was observed between various rankings of hospitals. Conclusions The KAP of nurses on nursing post-stroke dysphagia patients were different in iii-A and ii-A hospitals. Administrators should strengthen management, provide more learning resources and trainings to meet nurses’ needs about methods to deal with and recognize dysphagia, so as to further improve the quality of post-stroke dysphagia management.

Abstract
Bamboo fibers are considered as a more attractive option for the reinforcement of wood plastic composites as compared to wood fiber due to its fast growth rate and good toughness. Heat treatment is an environment-friendly method of improving the integrated performance of bamboo materials. This paper highlights the heat treatment of bamboo fiber for suitable properties as reinforcements in bamboo plastic composites. The effects of vacuum heat treatment on the surface characteristics of bamboo fibers and the properties of bamboo plastic composites were analyzed by studying the chemical composition, surface elements and polarity of bamboo fiber before and after treatment, and the physical and mechanical properties of bamboo plastic composite. The results showed that after vacuum heat treatment, the bamboo fibers became darker and experienced a transition from green to red. Moreover, FTIR, XPS and contact angle analysis indicated that the hemicellulose content, the oxygen/carbon ratio and the polar component of the bamboo fiber had a decreasing trend as the treatment temperature increased. In addition, the 24 h water absorption and the 24 h thickness expansion rate of the water absorption showed a trend of first decreasing and then increasing as the treatment temperature increased, while the bending performance of bamboo plastic composite showed a trend of increasing first and then decreasing as a result of increased treatment temperature. Therefore, a combined process of vacuum heat treatment and the addition of MAPE could improve the physical and mechanical properties of bamboo plastic composites to a certain extent.

Abstract
CONTEXT Islet autoantibodies (IAbs) are currently the most reliable indicators of islet autoimmunity. However, IAbs do not fully meet the need for the prediction and intervention of type 1 diabetes (T1D). Serological proteins should be great sources for biomarkers. OBJECTIVE This work aimed to identify new proteomic biomarkers with the technology of an expression-based genome-wide association study (eGWAS) in children newly diagnosed with T1D. METHODS In an attempt to identify additional biomarkers, we performed an eGWAS using microarray data from 169 arrays of the pancreatic islets of T1D rodents (78 T1D cases and 91 controls). We ranked all 16 099 protein-coding genes by the likelihood of differential expression in the pancreatic islets. Our top 20 secreted proteins were screened in 170 children including 100 newly diagnosed T1D, and 50 type 2 diabetes (T2D) and 20 age-matched healthy children. With 6 proteins showing significance, we further conducted a validation study using the second independent set of 400 samples from children including 200 newly diagnosed with T1D, 100 T2D, and 100 age-matched controls. RESULTS We identified 2 serum proteins that were significantly changed in T1D vs both control and T2D, and 5 serum proteins were significantly changed both in T1D and T2D vs control. Serum osteopontin (OPN) levels were uniquely higher in T1D (T1D vs controls, P = 1.29E-13 ~ 9.38E-7, T1D vs T2D, P = 2.65E-8 ~ 1.58E-7) with no difference between T2D and healthy control individuals. Serum interleukin 1 receptor antagonist (IL-1RA) levels were lower in T1D compared both with T2D (P = 3.36E-9~0.0236) and healthy participants (P = 1.09E-79 ~ 2.00E-12). CONCLUSION Our results suggest that OPN and IL1-RA could be candidates for useful biomarkers for T1D in children.

Abstract
Preparing a single cell suspension is a critical step in any solid tissue for genomics analysis as the presence of cellular debris, dead cells and free RNA will cause incorrect cell count, noise in sequencing read and possibly clogging of the microfluidic chip. Single cell preparation not only involves the tissue dissociation process but the “clean-up” step of the dissociation product. Current methods for removing dead cells and debris use magnetic beads and density gradient centrifugation, which are lengthy and costly, and often result in low cell recovery. Here we present a high-speed acoustic cell separation platform—MARS® Sample Preparation system. The system has three independent modules and each has an acoustic cell processing chip (CPC) which creates different moving trajectory of live cells, dead cells, and cellular debris in the acoustic field to achieve high efficiency of single cell separation. MARS® sample preparation provides fast, gentle, and label-free protocol to separate single cells and single nuclei from various types of organs and dissociation processes including manual enzymatic approach and automatic platform. Separated single cells and nuclei demonstrate compatibility with the downstream single cell genomics platform. We here report the separation of live single cells and nuclei from mouse brain tissue dissociation with over 99% removal of myelin and other debris, and 60%-80% recovery of cells and nuclei. Those results were obtained on the MARS® with 0.8mL/min flow rate and three samples in parallel process. Samples before and after MARS® acoustic process were analyzed with both flow cytometry and imaging-based cell counter. The performance of “clean-up” of the acoustic process was compared to conventional Percoll based centrifugation method and showed significant advantage. The results of separating kidney cells/nuclei, lung cells/nuclei, as well as spleen cells also demonstrated high debris removal and cell recovery over several samples processed in multiple batches. MARS® sample preparation platform and its acoustic technology provide a powerful new tool for single cell preparation for expanded application of single cell genomics.

Abstract
INTRODUCTION Tic disorder (TD) is a common neurodevelopmental disorder in children, and it can be categorised into three subtypes: provisional tic disorder (PTD), chronic motor or vocal TD (CMT or CVT), and Tourette syndrome (TS). An early diagnostic classification among these subtypes is not possible based on a new-onset tic symptom. Machine learning tools have been widely used for early diagnostic classification based on functional MRI (fMRI). However, few machine learning models have been built for the diagnostic classification of patients with TD. Therefore, in the present study, we will provide a study protocol that uses the machine learning model to make early classifications of the three different types of TD. METHODS AND ANALYSIS We planned to recruit 200 children aged 6-9 years with new-onset tic symptoms and 100 age-matched and sex-matched healthy controls under resting-state MRI scanning. Based on the neuroimaging data of resting-state fMRI, the support vector machine (SVM) model will be built. We planned to construct an SVM model based on functional connectivity for the early diagnosis classification of TD subtypes (including PTD, CMT/CVT, TS). ETHICS AND DISSEMINATION This study was approved by the ethics committee of Beijing Children's Hospital. The trial results will be submitted to peer-reviewed journals for publication. Abstract
Background: Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) and tic disorders (TDs) are closely related and considered to etiologically overlap. Both disorders are characterized by repetitive behaviors. TD and OCD often co-occur. The high comorbidity between OCD and TD individuals suggests that we also need to pay more attention to the homogeneity and heterogeneity between TS and OCD. To date, there has been no systematic nationwide epidemiological survey of the mental health (including tic disorders and obsessive-compulsive disorder) of children and adolescents in China. Methods: A two-stage epidemiological study of psychiatric point prevalence was conducted. We used the multistage cluster stratified random sampling strategy to assess five provinces of China. The Child Behavior Checklist was used to identify behavioral problems among the enrolled students in the first stage. The results from the Mini-International Neuropsychiatric Interview for Children and Adolescents and evaluations from two psychiatrists based on the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual-IV were used to make a diagnosis. Point weighted prevalence for TD and OCD was estimated. We adjusted prevalence estimates with the product of sampling weights and poststratification weights. Standard error values and 95% confidential intervals were generated with Taylor series linearization. Rao−Scott adjusted chi-square (χ2) tests were employed to compare the prevalence estimates of different age and sex groups. Results: In the first stage, 73,992 participants aged 6−16 years old were selected. The prevalence rates of OCD and TDs were 1.37% (95% CI: 1.28−1.45) and 2.46% (95% CI: 2.35−2.57), respectively. The prevalence of OCD was found to be higher in girls (p < 0.001) and higher in boys with transient tic disorder (TTD) (p < 0.001) and Tourette’s syndrome (TS) (p < 0.001). The most common comorbidity of TS was OCD (40.73%), and for OCD, it was TS (11.36%). Conclusions: Our study is the first nationwide survey on the prevalence of TD (2.46%) and OCD (1.37%) in school students aged 6−16 years old in China. The high comorbidity between OCD and TD individuals suggested overlap based on the prevalence dimensions, which might be influenced by age and sex. This result suggested that we also need to pay more attention to the homogeneity and heterogeneity between TS and OCD.

Abstract
The video extensometer has been widely advocated for tensile/compressive strain measurement in high-temperature material testing due to its advantages of non-contact measurement, wider measuring range, and larger applicable temperature over traditional clip-on mechanical extensometers. However, existing video extensometers, despite the adoption of active imaging devices, cannot adapt to the rapidly changing thermal radiation from the heated sample and surrounding heating elements during the high-temperature tests. This is because due to the significantly intensified thermal radiation, the decorrelated images degrade the measuring accuracy or even destroy the analysis. To address this problem, we developed an ultra-high temperature video extensometer that can automatically adjust the camera exposure time for reliable thermal strain measurement. Based on the pre-established image quality evaluation criteria, the camera will choose an appropriate exposure time according to the detected thermal radiation within the region of interest, thus ensuring high-quality images for real-time strain measurement. Static tests of tungsten-molybdenum alloy samples at different temperatures were performed to evaluate the noise level of the established ultra-high temperature video extensometer. The effectiveness and accuracy of the developed ultra-high temperature video extensometer were validated through the tensile tests of tungsten-copper, tungsten-potassium, and tungsten-molybdenum alloy samples at high temperatures up to 2000 °C.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE Electrochemiluminescence (ECL) assays are high-affinity autoantibody (Ab) tests that are more specific than Abs detected by traditional radiobinding assays (RBA) for risk screening and prediction of progression to type 1 diabetes. We sought to characterize the association of high-risk human leukocyte antigen (HLA) haplotypes and genotypes with ECL positivity and levels in relatives of individuals with type 1 diabetes. METHODS We analyzed 602 participants from the TrialNet Pathway to Prevention Study who were positive for at least 1 RBA diabetes-related Ab [glutamic acid decarboxylase autoantibodies (GADA) or insulin autoantibodies (IAA)] and for whom ECL and HLA data were available. ECL and RBA Ab levels were converted to SD units away from mean (z-scores) for analyses. RESULTS Mean age at initial visit was 19.4 ± 13.7 years; 344 (57.1%) were female and 104 (17.3%) carried the high-risk HLA-DR3/4*0302 genotype. At initial visit 424/602 (70.4%) participants were positive for either ECL-GADA or ECL-IAA, and 178/602 (29.6%) were ECL negative. ECL and RBA-GADA positivity were associated with both HLA-DR3 and DR4 haplotypes (all Ps < 0.05), while ECL and RBA-GADA z-score titers were higher in participants with HLA-DR3 haplotypes only (both Ps < 0.001). ECL-IAA (but not RBA-IAA) positivity was associated with the HLA-DR4 haplotype (P < 0.05). CONCLUSIONS ECL-GADA positivity is associated with the HLA-DR3 and HLA-DR4 haplotypes and levels are associated with the HLA-DR3 haplotype. ECL-IAA positivity is associated with HLA-DR4 haplotype. These studies further contribute to the understanding of genetic risk and islet autoimmunity endotypes in type 1 diabetes.

Abstract
BACKGROUND To analyze disease generalization in patients with ocular myasthenia gravis (OMG) treated with immunosuppression compared with patients without immunosuppression treatment. METHODS In this retrospective cohort study, we analyzed data from patients with OMG at seven medical centers in China from January 1, 2015 to May 1, 2019 and compared disease generalization in patients (treated with immunosuppression vs. not treated) within 2 years of disease onset using raw and inverse probability of treatment weighting (IPTW) analyses. RESULTS In the study population of 813 patients with OMG, 425 (52.3%) with immunosuppression had a mean (SD) onset age of 50.0 (15.1) years, and 188 (44.2%) were women. The remaining 388 (47.7%) patients were not immunosuppressed (mean age, 48.4 [15.0] years; 185 [47.7%] women). Disease generalization developed in 122 (31.4%) and 37 (8.7%) patients in the non-immunosuppression and immunosuppression groups, respectively. Relative to non-immunosuppression, immunosuppression was associated with a lower risk of generalization in a multivariable-adjusted Cox model (hazard ratio [HR], 0.27; 95% confidence interval [CI], 0.18-0.40; P<0.001) and IPTW-weighted Cox model (HR, 0.28; 95% CI, 0.19-0.42; P<0.001). In sensitivity analyses, longer duration of immunosuppression was associated with a lower risk of generalization (HR, 0.90 for every one-month increase; 95% CI, 0.87-0.92; P<0.001; IPTW-adjusted). Combination therapy with steroids and non-steroidal immunosuppressants showed superior efficacy in reducing the risk of generalization (HR, 0.14; 95% CI, 0.07-0.26; P<0.001). CONCLUSIONS Immunosuppression significantly reduced the 2-year risk of generalization in patients with OMG.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE Children identified with stage 1 type 1 diabetes are at high risk for progressing to stage 3 (clinical) diabetes and require accurate monitoring. Our aim was to establish continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) metrics that could predict imminent progression to diabetes. RESEARCH DESIGN AND METHODS In the Autoimmunity Screening for Kids study, 91 children who were persistently islet autoantibody positive (median age 11.5 years; 48% non-Hispanic White; 57% female) with a baseline CGM were followed for development of diabetes for a median of 6 (range 0.2-34) months. Of these, 16 (18%) progressed to clinical diabetes in a median of 4.5 (range 0.4-29) months. RESULTS Compared with children who did not progress to clinical diabetes (nonprogressors), those who did (progressors) had significantly higher average sensor glucose levels (119 vs. 105 mg/dL, P < 0.001) and increased glycemic variability (SD 27 vs. 16, coefficient of variation, 21 vs. 15, mean of daily differences 24 vs. 16, and mean amplitude of glycemic excursions 43 vs. 26, all P < 0.001). For progressors, 21% of the time was spent with glucose levels >140 mg/dL (TA140) and 8% of time >160 mg/dL, compared with 3% and 1%, respectively, for nonprogressors. In survival analyses, the risk of progression to diabetes in 1 year was 80% in those with TA140 >10%; in contrast, it was only 5% in the other participants. Performance of prediction by receiver operating curve analyses showed area under the curve of ≥0.89 for both individual and combined CGM metric models. CONCLUSIONS TA140 >10% is associated with a high risk of progression to clinical diabetes within the next year in autoantibody-positive children. CGM should be included in the ongoing monitoring of high-risk children and could be used as potential entry criterion for prevention trials.

Abstract
INTRODUCTION The number of patients with advanced cancer is rapidly increasing, and the disease burden among those with low socioeconomic status (SES) has accordingly become a global concern. Low SES can adversely impact patients with advanced cancer. The purpose of this systematic review is to shed light on the life experiences of patients with advanced cancer with low SES to help provide targeted and effective strategies to improve their quality of life. METHODS AND ANALYSIS We will include the following English databases: Cochrane Library, Cumulative Index to Nursing and Allied Health Literature, PubMed, MEDLINE, Embase, Web of Science, Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI) Database of Systematic Reviews, PsycINFO and OpenGrey, and the following Chinese databases: China National Knowledge Infrastructure, VIP Database for Chinese Technical Periodicals and Wanfang Data Knowledge Service Platform. A comprehensive search of qualitative studies on the experiences of patients with advanced cancer with low SES will be conducted from the above databases, with no age limit. Quality assessments of the studies will be independently performed by two reviewers using the JBI Critical Assessment Checklist, and any disagreements will be resolved through a discussion with a third reviewer. Relevant data will be extracted using the JBI standardised data extraction tools. The JBI meta-aggregation tool will be used to compare, analyse and summarise the original results. The reliability and credibility of the overall quality of the studies included will be evaluated using the JBI ConQual approach. ETHICS AND DISSEMINATION This study is based on existing public literature and therefore does not require a formal ethics review. Abstract
The potato tuber is the main nutrient supply and reproductive organ; however, tuber sprouting can reduce its commercial value. Snakin-2 (StSN2) was first reported as an antimicrobial peptide that positively regulates potato disease resistance. Our recent study suggested StSN2 overexpression inhibited sprout growth, while the sprouting process was accelerated in StSN2 RNAi lines. Cytoplasmic glyceraldehyde-3- phosphate dehydrogenase 1 (StGAPC1) was identified as a candidate protein that interacts with StSN2 by coimmunoprecipitation/mass spectrometry (CoIP/MS) experiments. Here, we report that the expression levels of StSN2 and StGAPC1 decreased during sprouting compared with dormancy. Coexpression of StSN2 and StGAPC1 in bud eyes and apical buds was verified by immunofluorescence analysis of paraffin sections. In addition, interaction of StSN2 and StGAPC1 was confirmed by yeast two-hybrid, coimmunoprecipitation and split luciferase complementation assays. Overexpression of StGAPC1 depressed sprout growth, which is similar to the function of StSN2, and StSN2- and StGAPC1-overexpressing lines showed decreased glucose, fructose and galactose content. The interaction of StSN2 and StGAPC1 enhanced StGAPC1 activity and decreased its oxidative modification to inhibit sprout growth. Our results suggest that StSN2 plays a regulatory role in tuber sprout growth through interaction with StGAPC1.

Abstract
Eu2+,Pb2+-doped core-shell-structured CaS@CaZnOS phosphors were synthesized by a two-step high-temperature solid-phase method. The as-synthesized CaS:Eu2+,Pb2+@CaZnOS:Pb2+ phosphors possess excellent dual-excitation and dual-emission (DE2) luminescent properties, which give rise to red emission peaking at 650 nm under green excitation, derived from the core CaS:Eu2+,Pb2+, and blue emission peaking at 424 nm, originating from the shell CaZnOS:Pb2+, under ultraviolet (UV) excitation. In addition, tunable red/blue emission can be achieved by changing the doping concentration of Pb2+ in the CaZnOS shell. The red/blue dual emission of core-shell DE2 phosphors under excitation of UV and green light significantly matches with the absorption spectrum of chlorophyll (a, b); hence, the as-prepared phosphors are excellent solar spectral conversion (SSC) auxiliaries of plastic films or laminated glass for greenhouses and provide ideas for creating more efficient and practically valuable SSC auxiliaries. The DE2 properties are described, and the energy transfer mechanism from Pb2+ to Eu2+ in the core is proposed and discussed in detail.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE The aim of this study is comparing gray matter alterations in SCZ pediatric patients with those suffering from obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) based on a systematic review and an activation likelihood estimation (ALE) meta-analysis. METHODS A systematic literature search was performed in PubMed, Elsevier, and China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI). A systematic review and an ALE meta-analysis were performed to quantitatively examine brain gray matter alterations. RESULTS Children and adolescents with schizophrenia had decreased gray matter volume (GMV) mainly in the prefrontal cortex (PFC), temporal cortex (such as the middle temporal gyrus and transverse temporal gyrus), and insula, while children and adolescents with OCD mainly had increased GMV in the PFC and the striatum (including the lentiform nucleus and caudate nucleus), and decreased GMV in the parietal cortex. CONCLUSIONS Our results suggest that gray matter abnormalities in the PFC may indicate homogeneity between the two diseases. In children and adolescents, structural alterations in schizophrenia mainly involve the fronto-temporal and cortico-insula circuits, whereas those in OCD mainly involve the prefrontal-parietal and the prefrontal-striatal circuits.

Abstract
The main pathophysiological abnormalities in type 2 diabetes (T2D) include pancreatic β-cell dysfunction and insulin resistance. Due to hyperglycemia, patients receive long-term treatment. However, side effects and drug tolerance usually lead to treatment failure. GuaLouQuMaiWan (GLQMW), a common traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) prescription, has positive effects on controlling blood sugar and improving quality of life, but the mechanism is still unclear. To decipher their molecular mechanisms, we used a novel computational systems pharmacology-based approach consisting of bioinformatics analysis, network pharmacology, and drug similarity comparison. We divided the participants into nondisease (ND), impaired glucose tolerance (IGT), and type 2 diabetes groups according to the WHO's recommendations for diabetes. By analyzing the gene expression profile of the ND-IGT-T2D (ND to IGT to T2D) process, we found that the function of downregulated genes in the whole process was mainly related to insulin secretion, while the upregulated genes were related to inflammation. Furthermore, other genes in the ND-IGT (ND to IGT) process are mainly related to inflammation and lipid metabolic disorders. We speculate that 17 genes with a consistent trend may play a key role in the process of ND-IGT-T2D. We further performed target prediction for 50 compounds in GLQMW that met the screening criteria and intersected the differentially expressed genes of the T2D process with the compounds of GLQMW; a total of 18 proteins proved potential targets for GLQMW. Among these, RBP4 is considerably related to insulin resistance. GO/KEGG enrichment analyses of the target genes of GLQMW showed enrichment in inflammation- and T2D therapy-related pathways. Based on the RDKit tool and the DrugBank database, we speculate that (-)-taxifolin, dialoside A_qt, spinasterol, isofucosterol, and 11,14-eicosadienoic acid can be used as potential drugs for T2D via molecular docking and drug similarity comparison.

Abstract
Phosphors with high quantum efficiency and thermal stability play a key role in improving the performance of phosphor-converted white light-emitting diodes (pc-WLEDs). A near-UV-pumped LED shows a great advantage due to its reduction of the negative effect of blue light on human health. In this work, we propose a series of near-UV excitable cyan-emitting Eu2+-activated phosphors with a nominal composition of Na2-2xAl11O17+a:xEu2+ (x = 0.01-0.40), which crystallize in a sodium β-alumina phase with a composition close to Na1.22Al11O17.11. An excess amount of the sodium carbonate raw material makes up the volatile Na during the high-temperature process. The noninteger stoichiometric composition promotes the rigidity of the crystal structure with a slight excess of Na insertion into layers between spinel blocks of the NaAl11O17 matrix. The nonequivalent substitution of Na+ by Eu2+ generates intrinsic defects acting as carrier traps. As a result, the phosphor with an optimal nominal composition Na1.6Al11O17+a:0.20Eu2+, under the excitation at 365 nm, shows an asymmetric cyan emission band at 468 nm with internal and external quantum efficiencies of 81.3 and 56.9%, respectively. Remarkably, the phosphor exhibits antithermal quenching within 200 °C. A pc-WLED with a high color rendering index (87.2) suggests great potential of the phosphor in pc-WLEDs. Therefore, a combination of a rigid structure and deep trap level is an effective way in exploring new phosphors with high quantum efficiency and thermal stability.

Abstract
Attachment of ubiquitin (Ub) to cell surface proteins serves as a signal for internalization via clathrin-mediated endocytosis (CME). How ubiquitinated membrane proteins engage the internalization apparatus remains unclear. The internalization apparatus contains proteins such as Epsin and Eps15, which bind Ub, potentially acting as adaptors for Ub-based internalization signals. Here, we show that additional components of the endocytic machinery including CALM, HIP1R, and Sla2 bind Ub via their N-terminal ANTH domain, a domain belonging to the superfamily of ENTH and VHS domains. Structural studies revealed that Ub binds with µM affinity to a unique C-terminal region within the ANTH domain not found in ENTH domains. Functional studies showed that combined loss of Ub-binding by ANTH-domain proteins and other Ub-binding domains within the yeast internalization apparatus caused defects in the Ub-dependent internalization of the GPCR Ste2 that was engineered to rely exclusively on Ub as an internalization signal. In contrast, these mutations had no effect on the internalization of Ste2 engineered to use an alternate Ub-independent internalization signal. These studies define new components of the internalization machinery that work collectively with Epsin and Eps15 to specify recognition of Ub as an internalization signal.

Abstract
CONTEXT Single ZnT8 autoantibody (ZnT8A) positivity by standard radiobinding assay (RBA) is commonly seen in nondiabetes population-based screening and the risk of progression to type 1 diabetes (T1D) in subjects with single ZnT8A is unknown. OBJECTIVE Identify the risk of progression to T1D in individuals positive only for ZnT8A. METHODS We developed an electrochemiluminescence (ECL) assay to detect high-affinity ZnT8A and validated it in 3 populations: 302 patients newly diagnosed with T1D, 135 nondiabetic children positive for ZnT8A by RBA among 23 400 children screened by the Autoimmunity Screening for Kids (ASK) study, and 123 nondiabetic children multiple autoantibody positive or single ZnT8A positive by RBA participating in the Diabetes Autoimmunity Study in the Young (DAISY). RESULTS In 302 patients with T1D at diagnosis, the positivity for ZnT8A was 62% both in RBA and ECL. Among ASK 135 participants positive for RBA-ZnT8A, 64 were detected ZnT8A as the only islet autoantibody. Of these 64, only 9 were confirmed by ECL-ZnT8A, found to be of high affinity with increased T1D risk. The overall positive predictive value of ECL-ZnT8A for T1D risk was 87.1%, significantly higher than that of RBA-ZnT8A (53.5%, P < .001). In DAISY, 11 of 2547 children who had no positivity previously detected for other islet autoantibodies were identified as single ZnT8A by RBA; of these, 3 were confirmed positive by ECL-ZnT8A and all 3 progressed to clinical T1D. CONCLUSION A large proportion of ZnT8A by RBA are single ZnT8A with low T1D risk, whereas ZnT8A by ECL was of high affinity and high prediction for T1D development.

Abstract
The development of fluorescence sensing platforms with excellent photoluminescence capabilities is of great importance for their further application. In this work, a photonic crystal structure was successfully applied to enhance the luminescence performance of fluorescent hydrogel, and the application of the obtained hydrogel as a fluorescence sensor was explored. A polystyrene photonic crystal template was constructed via vertical deposition self-assembly; then, the precursor solution containing polyethylenimine-capped CdS quantum dots (PEI-CdS QDs) and monomers filled in the gap of the template. After the polymerization process, the desired hydrogel was obtained. PEI-CdS QDs endowed the hydrogel with its fluorescence property, while interestingly, the photonic crystal structure showed a significant enhancement effect on the fluorescence-emission capability. The mechanism of this phenomenon was revealed. Moreover, this hydrogel could be used as a reusable fluorescence sensor for the detection of nitrite in water with good selectivity. The limit of detection was determined to be 0.25 μmol/L, which is much lower than the maximum limit for nitrite in drinking water.
