Abstract
OBJECTIVE Atrial fibrillation (AF), the most common cardiac arrhythmia, presents significant health challenges, and the intricate connection between insomnia and AF has garnered substantial attention. This cohort study aims to investigate the relationship between insomnia and AF recurrences following radiofrequency ablation. MATERIALS AND METHODS Data were retrieved from an electronic database of patients who underwent radiofrequency ablation for AF. The primary endpoint was AF recurrence. We utilized a multivariable Cox model, coupled with three propensity score methods, for analysis. RESULTS Between January 1, 2017, and June 1, 2022, 541 patients who underwent radiofrequency ablation for AF were recorded in the database. After excluding 185 patients, the final cohort comprised 356 patients. Among them, 68 were afflicted by insomnia, while 288 were not. Over a median follow-up of 755 days, one patient died, and 130 (36.5%) experienced AF recurrence. Multivariate Cox regression analysis revealed that the insomnia group had a higher risk of AF recurrence compared to the non-insomnia group (HR: 1.83, 95% CI: 1.16-2.89). Further landmark analysis showed no significant difference in AF recurrence rates during the initial 1-year follow-up. However, beyond 1 year, the insomnia group demonstrated a significantly higher AF recurrence rate. As the number of insomnia symptoms increased, the risk of AF recurrence also rose significantly, indicating a dose-response relationship. CONCLUSION This study establishes a significant link between insomnia and long-term AF recurrence following radiofrequency ablation. It underscores the importance of identifying and addressing insomnia in patients with AF undergoing radiofrequency ablation.

Abstract
Formamidinium lead triiodide serves as the optimal light-absorbing layer in single-junction perovskite solar cells. However, achieving operational stability of high-efficiency n-i-p type devices at elevated temperatures remains challenging. In this work, we implemented effective surface modifications on microcrystalline perovskite films. This involved the nucleophilic addition of formamidinium cations and coordination of residual PbI2 with triphenylmethane triisocyanate as well as subsequent polymerization. The in situ growth of a cross-linking network chemically anchored on the perovskite film in this approach effectively reduced trap densities, favorably altered surface work function, suppressing interface charge recombination and thus enhancing cell efficiency. Coupled with a high-melting-point air-doping promoter, we fabricated n-i-p type perovskite solar cells surpassing 25 % efficiency, demonstrating excellent operational stability at 65 °C.

Abstract
Thyroid cancer (THCA) is the most common endocrine malignancy worldwide and has been rising at the fastest rate in recent years. Long-stranded non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) and N6-methyladenosine (m6A) have been associated with immunotherapy efficacy and cancer prognosis. However, how m6A-associated lncRNAs (mrlncRNAs) affect the prognosis of patients with thyroid cancer is unclear. Therefore, this study utilized The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) database to provide thyroid cancer-related transcriptomic data and related clinical data. The R program was used to identify m6A-related lncRNAs, and a risk model consisting of two lncRNAs (LINC02471 and DOCK9-DT) was obtained using least absolute shrinkage and selection operator (LASSO) Cox regression analysis. Kaplan-Meier survival analysis and transient subject operating characteristics (ROC) were used for analysis. The results showed a substantial association between immune cell infiltration and risk scores. Independent analyses confirmed that the expression of LINC02471 and DOCK9-DT was significantly higher in thyroid cancer tissues than in normal tissues, suggesting that they may be useful biomarkers for thyroid cancer.

Abstract
Some noncoding RNAs (ncRNAs) carry open reading frames (ORFs) that can be translated into micropeptides, although noncoding RNAs (ncRNAs) have been previously assumed to constitute a class of RNA transcripts without coding capacity. Furthermore, recent studies have revealed that ncRNA-derived micropeptides exhibit regulatory functions in the development of many tumours. Although some of these micropeptides inhibit tumour growth, others promote it. Understanding the role of ncRNA-encoded micropeptides in cancer poses new challenges for cancer research, but also offers promising prospects for cancer therapy. In this review, we summarize the types of ncRNAs that can encode micropeptides, highlighting recent technical developments that have made it easier to research micropeptides, such as ribosome analysis, mass spectrometry, bioinformatics methods, and CRISPR/Cas9. Furthermore, based on the distribution of micropeptides in different subcellular locations, we explain the biological functions of micropeptides in different human cancers and discuss their underestimated potential as diagnostic biomarkers and anticancer therapeutic targets in clinical applications, information that may contribute to the discovery and development of new micropeptide-based tools for early diagnosis and anticancer drug development.

Abstract
Methane hydrates (MHs) have been considered a promising future energy source due to their vast resource volume and high energy density. Understanding the behavior of MH formation and dissociation at the pore-scale and the effect of MH distribution on the gas-liquid two phase flow is of critical importance for designing effective production strategies from natural gas hydrate (NGH) reservoirs. In this study, we devised a novel high-pressure microfluidic chip apparatus that is capable of direct observation of MH formation and dissociation behavior at the pore-scale. MH nucleation and growth behavior at 10.0 MPa and dissociation via thermal stimulation with gas bubble generation and evolution were examined. Our experimental results reveal that two different MH formation mechanisms co-exist in pores: (a) porous-type MH with a rough surface formed from CH4 gas bubbles at the gas-liquid interface and (b) crystal-type MH formed from dissolved CH4 gas. The growth and movement of crystal-type MH can trigger the sudden nucleation of porous-type MH. Spatially, MHs preferentially grow along the gas-liquid interface in pores. MH dissociation under thermal stimulation practically generates gas bubbles with diameters of 20.0-200.0 μm. Based on a custom-designed image analysis technique, three distinct stages of gas bubble evolution were identified during MH dissociation via thermal stimulation: (a) single gas bubble growth with an expanding water layer at an initial slow dissociation rate, (b) rapid generation of clusters of gas bubbles at a fast dissociation rate, and (c) gas bubble coalescence with uniform distribution in the pore space. The novel apparatus designed and the image analysis technique developed in this study allow us to directly capture the dynamic evolution of the gas-liquid interface during MH formation and dissociation at the pore-scale. The results provide direct first-hand visual evidence of the growth of MHs in pores and valuable insights into gas-liquid two-phase flow behavior during fluid production from NGHs.

Abstract
Developing a facile strategy for constructing oriented mixed matrix membranes (MMMs) with uniformly dispersed and high-loading metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) is a crucial scientific challenge in probing the enhanced capability and potential applications of MOF-polymer MMMs. Herein, a novel synchronous synthetic method for constructing oriented CuBDC/poly(m-phenylenediamine) (CuBDC/PmPD) MMM with uniform MOF dispersion at high loading at the air-solution interface via the dual function of metal ions is reported. The resulting MMM exhibits excellent separation performance in ion sieving and seawater desalination due to the structural integrity of the proposed membrane and the highly interconnected channels created through the oriented distribution of MOF in a polymer matrix. Such a cutting-edge approach may provide promising insights into the development of advanced MMMs with optimized structure and superior performances.

Abstract
PURPOSE Sequenced Protein-Protein Interaction (PPI) prediction represents a pivotal area of study in biology, playing a crucial role in elucidating the mechanistic underpinnings of diseases and facilitating the design of novel therapeutic interventions. Conventional methods for extracting features through experimental processes have proven to be both costly and exceedingly complex. In light of these challenges, the scientific community has turned to computational approaches, particularly those grounded in deep learning methodologies. Despite the progress achieved by current deep learning technologies, their effectiveness diminishes when applied to larger, unfamiliar datasets. RESULTS In this study, the paper introduces a novel deep learning framework, termed DL-PPI, for predicting PPIs based on sequence data. The proposed framework comprises two key components aimed at improving the accuracy of feature extraction from individual protein sequences and capturing relationships between proteins in unfamiliar datasets. 1. Protein Node Feature Extraction Module: To enhance the accuracy of feature extraction from individual protein sequences and facilitate the understanding of relationships between proteins in unknown datasets, the paper devised a novel protein node feature extraction module utilizing the Inception method. This module efficiently captures relevant patterns and representations within protein sequences, enabling more informative feature extraction. 2. Feature-Relational Reasoning Network (FRN): In the Global Feature Extraction module of our model, the paper developed a novel FRN that leveraged Graph Neural Networks to determine interactions between pairs of input proteins. The FRN effectively captures the underlying relational information between proteins, contributing to improved PPI predictions. DL-PPI framework demonstrates state-of-the-art performance in the realm of sequence-based PPI prediction.

Abstract
The Hedgehog (Hh) family is a prototypical morphogen involved in embryonic patterning, multi-lineage differentiation, self-renewal, morphogenesis, and regeneration. There are studies that have demonstrated that the Hh signaling pathway differentiates developing T cells into MHC-restricted self-antigen tolerant T cells in a concentration-dependent manner in the thymus. Whereas Hh signaling pathway is not required in the differentiation of B cells but is indispensable in maintaining the regeneration of hematopoietic stem cells (HSCs) and the viability of germinal centers (GCs) B cells. The Hh signaling pathway exerts both positive and negative effects on immune responses, which involves activating human peripheral CD4+ T cells, regulating the accumulation of natural killer T (NKT) cells, recruiting and activating macrophages, increasing CD4+Foxp3+ regulatory T cells in the inflammation sites to sustain homeostasis. Hedgehog signaling is involved in the patterning of the embryo, as well as homeostasis of adult tissues. Therefore, this review aims to highlight evidence for Hh signaling in the differentiation, function of immune cells and autoimmune disease. Abstract
OBJECTIVE To investigate the association of fat and lean mass in specific regions with all-cause and cardiovascular-related mortality. DESIGN Population based cohort study. SETTING US National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (2003-2006 and 2011-2018). PARTICIPANTS 22 652 US adults aged 20 years or older. EXPOSURES Fat and lean mass in specific regions obtained from the whole-body dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES All-cause and cardiovascular-related mortality. RESULTS During a median of 83 months of follow-up, 1432 deaths were identified. Associations between body composition metrics and mortality risks were evident above specific thresholds. For all-cause mortality, Android fat mass showed elevated HRs above 2.46 kg (HR: 1.17, 95% CI 1.02 to 1.34), while Android lean mass (ALM) had similar trends above 2.75 kg (HR: 1.17, 95% CI 1.03 to 1.33), and Android total mass above 5.75 kg (HR: 1.08, 95% CI 1.01 to 1.16). Conversely, lower HRs were observed below certain thresholds: Gynoid fat mass (GFM) below 3.71 kg (HR: 0.72, 95% CI 0.56 to 0.93), Gynoid lean mass below 6.44 kg (HR: 0.77, 95% CI 0.64 to 0.92), and Gynoid total mass below 11.78 kg (HR: 0.76, 95% CI 0.70 to 0.84). Notably, below 0.722 kg, the HR of visceral adipose tissue mass (VATM) was 1.25 (95% CI 1.04 to 1.48) for all-cause mortality, and above 3.18 kg, the HR of total abdominal fat mass was 2.41 (95% CI 1.15 to 5.05). Cardiovascular-related mortality exhibited associations as well, particularly for Android fat mass (AFM) above 1.78 kg (HR: 1.22, 95% CI 1.01 to 1.47) and below 7.16 kg (HR: 0.50, 95% CI 0.36 to 0.69). HRs varied for Gynoid total mass below and above 10.98 kg (HRs: 0.70, 95% CI 0.54 to 0.93, and 1.12, 95% CI 1.02 to 1.23). Android per cent fat, subcutaneous fat mass (SFM), AFM/GFM, and VATM/SFM were not statistically associated with all-cause mortality. Android per cent fat, Gynoid per cent fat, AFM/GFM, and VATM/SFM were not statistically associated with cardiovascular-related mortality. Conicity index showed that the ALM/GLM had the highest performance for all-cause and cardiovascular-related mortality with AUCs of 0.785, and 0.746, respectively. CONCLUSIONS The relationship between fat or lean mass and all-cause mortality varies by region. Fat mass was positively correlated with cardiovascular mortality, regardless of the region in which they located. ALM/GLM might be a better predictor of all-cause and cardiovascular-related mortality than other body components or body mass index.

Abstract
On the basis of the "seeing is believing" concept and the existing theory of Hg2+ coordination chemistry, for the first time, we innovatively designed and synthesized a visual-volumetric sensor platform with fluorescein and uracil functionalized polyacrylamide hydrogel. Without the aid of any complicated instruments and power sources, the sensor-enabled quantitative μM-level Hg2+ detection Hg2+ by reading graduation on a pipette with the naked eye. The sensor undergoes volumetric response and shows a wide linear response range to Hg2+ (1.0 × 10-6-5.0 × 10-5 mol L-1) with 2.8 × 10-7 mol L-1 as the detection limit. The highly selective (easily distinguished Hg2+ from other common metal ions), rapid response (∼30 min), and acceptable repeatability (RSD < 5% in all cases) demonstrated that the developed sensor is suitable for onsite practical use for the determination of Hg2+ while being low-cost, simple, and portable. The design principles of the obtained materials and the construction techniques and methods of the sensors described in our study provide a new idea for the research and development of smart materials and a series of visual-volumetric sensors for other analytes.

Abstract
As per the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists in 2013, magnesium sulfate is the gold standard for the management of preeclampsia, but it has a short action time that does not provide stable maintenance of blood pressure. Labetalol is currently recommended as first-line treatment by the national UK guidance. This study included 355 pregnant Han Chinese women with preeclampsia and aimed to compare outcomes following intravenous magnesium compared with intravenous labetalol and oral nifedipine. Women received 4 g intravenous magnesium sulfate followed by the maintenance dose of 1 g/h intravenous magnesium sulfate (MS cohort, n = 104) or intravenous labetalol (LB cohort, n = 115), or oral nifedipine (NF cohort, n = 136). Therapy success: systolic blood pressure ~140 mm Hg and diastolic blood pressure ~90 mm Hg, therapy failure: persistent systolic blood pressure ≥ 160 or diastolic blood pressure ≥ 110 mm Hg after maximum dosage of therapy (EL). Women of all cohorts successfully decreased systolic and diastolic blood pressures at EL as compared to them before therapy conditions (P < .001, for all). At EL, systolic and diastolic blood pressures of women of the LB cohort decreased more than those of women of the MS and NF cohorts (P < .05, for all). Therapy was more successful in women of the LB cohort than those of the NF cohort (107 [93%] vs 112 [82%], P = .0132). More numbers of women were reduced blood pressure after 1 day of therapy from the LB cohort than those of the NF (75 [65%] vs 21 [15%]) and MS (75 [65%] vs 35 [34%]) cohorts (P < .0001 for both). Labetalol-induced tachycardia, bradycardia, and intracranial hemorrhage in pregnant women and respiratory distress syndrome and hypoglycemia in neonates. Intravenous labetalol provides proper reduction of blood pressure in Han Chinese women with preeclampsia but has the risk of undesirable maternal and neonatal adverse effects (Level of Evidence: IV; Technical Efficacy: Stage 4).

Abstract
PURPOSE The current study was conducted to investigate the electrocardiographic (ECG) characteristics of idiopathic premature ventricular contractions (PVCs) originating from the aortic sinus cusp (ASC) and establish a novel ECG criterion to discriminate PVCs originating from the right coronary cusp (RCC), left coronary cusp (LCC), and the left and right coronary cusp junction (LRJ). METHODS A retrospective analysis was performed on a total of 133 patients with idiopathic PVCs who underwent successful mapping and ablation. The sites of origin (SOO) were confirmed using fluoroscopy and a three-dimensional mapping system during radiofrequency catheter ablation (RFCA). Among the patients, 69 had PVCs originating from the LCC, 39 from the RCC, and 25 from the LRJ. Characteristics of surface 12‑lead electrocardiograms (ECGs) recorded during PVCs were analyzed. Q-, R-, S, and R'-wave amplitudes were measured in lead I, and the lead I R-wave indexes (IRa, IRb, IRc, IRd, and IRe) were derived by employing multiplication, subtraction, sum, and division operations on these ECG measurements. Notably, IRb and IRe demonstrated usefulness as ECG indexes for discriminating PVCs originating from RCC, LCC, and LRJ in the ASC. RESULTS The R- and S-wave amplitudes in lead I exhibited statistically significant differences among the three groups (P < 0.001 and P < 0.001, respectively). In discriminating PVCs originating from the RCC from the other two groups, IRb showed the largest area under the curve (AUC) of 0.813, as assessed by receiver operating characteristic (ROC) analysis, with a cutoff value of ≤0.5 indicating PVCs of RCC origin. The sensitivity and specificity were 80.3% and 78.7%, respectively. For discriminating PVCs arising from the LCC from those in the LRJ group, IRe exhibited the largest AUC of 0.801, with an optimal cutoff value of 0. An IRe value >0 indicated PVCs originating from the LRJ, while an IRe value ≤0 indicated PVCs originating from the LCC. The sensitivity and specificity of the IRe index were 84.0% and 70.7%, respectively. CONCLUSION Lead I R-wave indexes provided simple and useful ECG criteria for discriminating PVCs originating from the LCC, RCC, and LRJ in the left ventricular outflow tract (LVOT).

Abstract
Background Transitioning from marriage to widowhood presents inevitable and significant challenges for many older adults. This study explored the impact of widowhood on a range of mental health outcomes, including pulse pressure and fasting blood glucose levels, among older adults in nursing homes. Methods This cross-sectional study utilized cluster random sampling to recruit participants, with data analyzed from 388 older Chinese adults. Psychosocial traits were assessed using the Perceived Social Support from Family scale (PSS-Fa) for family support, the Generalized Anxiety Disorder 7-item scale (GAD-7) for anxiety symptoms, and the 9-item Patient Health Questionnaire (PHQ-9) for depressive symptoms and suicidal ideation. Propensity score matching (PSM) was employed to control for confounding factors. A multivariate linear regression analysis was performed to explore the relationship between widowhood, mental health outcomes, pulse pressure, and fasting blood glucose levels. Results After applying PSM, the sample size was refined to 268 (N = 134 for both married and widowed groups) from the initial 388, excluding 120 unmatched cases. Widowed older adults were found to have notably lower family support (β = -0.81, p = 0.002), increased depressive symptoms (β = 1.04, p = 0.043), elevated pulse pressure (β = 8.90, p < 0.001), and higher fasting blood glucose levels (β = 3.22, p = 0.027). These associations exhibited greater beta values compared to pre-matching analysis. Conclusion Our findings revealed that widowed participants had reduced family support, an increased risk of depressive symptoms, heightened pulse pressure, and elevated fasting blood glucose in comparison to their married counterparts. Interventions focusing on social support, mental health, and cardiovascular well-being could be advantageous for this at-risk group.

Abstract
Microchromosome maintenance (MCM) proteins are a number of nuclear proteins with significant roles in the development of cancer by influencing the process of cellular DNA replication. Of the MCM protein family, MCM10 is a crucial member that maintains the stability and extension of DNA replication forks during DNA replication and is significantly overexpressed in a variety of cancer tissues, regulating the biological behaviour of cancer cells. But little is understood about MCM10's functional role and regulatory mechanisms in a range of malignancies. We investigate the impact of MCM10 in human cancers by analyzing data from databases like the Gene Expression Profiling Interaction Analysis (GEPIA2), Genotype-Tissue Expression (GTEx) and The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA), among others. Possible relationships between MCM10 and clinical staging, diagnosis, prognosis, Mutation burden (TMB), microsatellite instability (MSI), immunological checkpoints, DNA methylation, and tumor stemness were identified. The findings demonstrated that MCM10 expression was elevated in the majority of cancer types and was connected to tumor dryness, immunocytic infiltration, immunological checkpoints, TMB and MSI. Functional enrichment analysis in multiple tumors also identified possible pathways of MCM10 involvement in tumorigenesis. We also discovered promising MCM10-targeting chemotherapeutic drugs. In conclusion, MCM10 may be a desirable pan-cancer biomarker and offer fresh perspectives on cancer therapy.

Abstract
Poly(l-lactic acid) (PLLA) has been extensively utilized as a biomaterial for various biomedical applications. The first and one of the most critical steps upon contact with biological fluids is the adsorption of proteins on the material's surface. Understanding the behavior of protein adsorption is vital for guiding the synthesis and preparation of PLLA for biomedical purposes. In this study, total internal reflection fluorescence microscopy was employed to investigate the adsorption of human serum albumin (HSA) on PLLA films with different molar masses. We found that molar mass affects HSA adsorption in such a way that it affects only the adsorption rate constants, but not the desorption rate constants. Additionally, we observed that HSA adsorption is spatially heterogeneous and exhibits many strong binding sites regardless of the molar mass of the PLLA films. We found that the free volume of PLLA plays a crucial role in determining its water uptake capacity and surface hydration, consequently impacting the adsorption of HSA.

Abstract
Understanding gene expression processes necessitates the accurate classification and identification of transcription factors, which is supported by high-throughput sequencing technologies. However, these techniques suffer from inherent limitations such as time consumption and high costs. To address these challenges, the field of bioinformatics has increasingly turned to deep learning technologies for analyzing gene sequences. Nevertheless, the pursuit of improved experimental results has led to the inclusion of numerous complex analysis function modules, resulting in models with a growing number of parameters. To overcome these limitations, it is proposed a novel approach for analyzing DNA transcription factor sequences, which is named as DeepCAC. This method leverages deep convolutional neural networks with a multi-head self-attention mechanism. By employing convolutional neural networks, it can effectively capture local hidden features in the sequences. Simultaneously, the multi-head self-attention mechanism enhances the identification of hidden features with long-distant dependencies. This approach reduces the overall number of parameters in the model while harnessing the computational power of sequence data from multi-head self-attention. Through training with labeled data, experiments demonstrate that this approach significantly improves performance while requiring fewer parameters compared to existing methods. Additionally, the effectiveness of our approach is validated in accurately predicting DNA transcription factor sequences.

Abstract
The retinoic acid-inducible gene I (RIG-I)-like receptors (RLRs) play a crucial role as pattern-recognition receptors within the innate immune system. These receptors, present in various cell and tissue types, serve as essential sensors for viral infections, enhancing the immune system's capacity to combat infections through the induction of type I interferons (IFN-I) and inflammatory cytokines. RLRs are involved in a variety of physiological and pathological processes, including viral infections, autoimmune disorders, and cancer. An increasing body of research has examined the possibility of RLRs or microRNAs as therapeutic targets for antiviral infections and malignancies, despite the fact that few studies have focused on the regulatory function of microRNAs on RLR signaling. Consequently, our main emphasis in this review is on elucidating the role of microRNAs in modulating the signaling pathways of RLRs in the context of cancer and viral infections. The aim is to establish a robust knowledge base that can serve as a basis for future comprehensive investigations into the interplay between microRNAs and RIG-I, while also facilitating the advancement of therapeutic drug development.

Abstract
Transcatheter radiofrequency ablation has been widely introduced for the treatment of tachyarrhythmias. The demand for catheter ablation continues to grow rapidly as the level of recommendation for catheter ablation. Traditional catheter ablation is performed under the guidance of X-rays. X-rays can help display the heart contour and catheter position, but the radiobiological effects caused by ionizing radiation and the occupational injuries worn caused by medical staff wearing heavy protective equipment cannot be ignored. Three-dimensional mapping system and intracardiac echocardiography can provide detailed anatomical and electrical information during cardiac electrophysiological study and ablation procedure, and can also greatly reduce or avoid the use of X-rays. In recent years, fluoroless catheter ablation technique has been well demonstrated for most arrhythmic diseases. Several centers have reported performing procedures in a purposefully designed fluoroless electrophysiology catheterization laboratory (EP Lab) without fixed digital subtraction angiography equipment. In view of the lack of relevant standardized configurations and operating procedures, this expert task force has written this consensus statement in combination with relevant research and experience from China and abroad, with the aim of providing guidance for hospitals (institutions) and physicians intending to build a fluoroless cardiac EP Lab, implement relevant technologies, promote the standardized construction of the fluoroless cardiac EP Lab.

Abstract
Dendrobium, which belongs to the family of Orchidaceae, is a highly valuable traditional Chinese medicine commonly used in China. It exerts pharmacological activities such as antitumor and hypoglycemia effects, and its main components are alkaloids, polysaccharides, and terpenoids, among others. In recent years, research on the clinical application of Dendrobium in antitumor therapy has gained increasing attention. Accumulating evidence suggests that the active components of Dendrobium possess significant inhibitory effects on the viability of cancer cells as evident from in vivo and in vitro experiments, which indicates that Dendrobium exerts significant anticancer effect in treating and preventing cancer development, inhibiting the underlying potential molecular mechanisms, including suppression of cancer cell growth and proliferation, epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT), apoptosis induction, tumor angiogenesis, and reinforcement of cisplatin (DDP) -induced apoptosis. We herein present a review that summarizes the research progress of the application of Dendrobium in cancer therapy and its molecular mechanisms. This review describes the positive aspects of the active ingredients of Dendrobium in the treatment of cancers in various systems of the human body, their inhibitory effects on tumor survival and tumor microenvironment, and their potential mechanisms. Additionally, this review proposes future application prospects of Dendrobium in cancer therapy to promote further research and future extensive clinical applications of Dendrobium in cancer therapy.

Abstract
Two-dimensional (2D) Ruddlesden-Popper (RP) layered halide perovskite has attracted wide attentions due to its unique structure and excellent optoelectronic properties. With inserting organic cations, inorganic octahedrons are forced to extend in a certain direction, resulting in an asymmetric 2D perovskite crystal structure and causing spontaneous polarization. The pyroelectric effect resulted from spontaneous polarization exhibits a broad prospect in the application of optoelectronic devices. Herein, 2D RP polycrystalline perovskite (BA)2 (MA)3 Pb4 I13 film with excellent crystal orientation is fabricated by hot-casting deposition, and a class of 2D hybrid perovskite photodetectors (PDs) with pyro-phototronic effect is proposed, achieving temperature and light detection with greatly improved performance by coupling multiple energies. Because of the pyro-phototronic effect, the current is ≈35 times to that of the photovoltaic effect current under 0 V bias. The responsivity and detectivity are 12.7 mA W-1 and 1.73 × 1011 Jones, and the on/off ratio can reach 3.97 × 103 . Furthermore, the influences of bias voltage, light power density, and frequency on the pyro-phototronic effect of 2D RP polycrystalline perovskite PDs are explored. The coupling of spontaneous polarization and light facilitates photo-induced carrier dissociation and tunes the carrier transport process, making 2D RP perovskites a competitive candidate for next-generation photonic devices.

Abstract
Detonation of energetic materials (EMs) is of great importance for military applications, while the understanding of detailed events and mechanisms for the detonation process is scarce. In this study, the first deep neural network potential NNP_Shock for molecular dynamics (MD) simulation of shock-induced detonation of EMs was generated based on a deep potential model, providing DFT accuracy but 106 times the computational efficiency. On this basis, we employ our deep potential to perform MD simulations of shock-induced detonation of high-performance EM material 2,4,6,8,10,12-hexanitro-2,4,6,8,10,12-hexaazaisowurtzitane (CL-20, C6H6N12O12) and obtain the theoretical Chapman-Jouguet (C-J) detonation velocities and pressures directly by multiscale shock technique (MSST) for the first time, which are in good agreement with experiment. In addition, the Hugoniot curves and initial reaction mechanisms were successfully obtained. Therefore, the NNP_Shock potential is competent in research of the detonation performance and shock sensitivity of CL-20, and the method can also be transplanted to studies of other EMs.

Abstract
Although a growing body of research has recently shown how crucial inflammation and infection are to all major diseases, several of the medications currently available on the market have various unfavourable side effects, necessitating the development of alternative therapeutic choices. Researchers are increasingly interested in alternative medications or active components derived from natural sources. Naringenin is a commonly consumed flavonoid found in many plants, and since it was discovered to have nutritional benefits, it has been utilized to treat inflammation and infections caused by particular bacteria or viruses. However, the absence of adequate clinical data and naringenin's poor solubility and stability severely restrict its usage as a medicinal agent. In this article, we discuss naringenin's effects and mechanisms of action on autoimmune-induced inflammation, bacterial infections, and viral infections based on recent research. We also present a few suggestions for enhancing naringenin's solubility, stability, and bioavailability. This paper emphasizes the potential use of naringenin as an anti-inflammatory and anti-infective agent and the next prophylactic substance for the treatment of various inflammatory and infectious diseases, even though some mechanisms of action are still unclear, and offers some theoretical support for its clinical application.

Abstract
Objective: To investigate the prevalence of frailty among kidney transplant recipients and to analyze the influential factors of frailty after kidney transplantation. Methods: We retrospectively included 201 kidney transplant recipients who were followed up in the Department of Urology, Beijing Chao-yang Hospital, Capital Medical University from November 2020 to May 2022. We investigated the prevalence of frailty based on the Fried Frailty Scale (including unexpected shrinking, slow walking speed, poor grip strength, low physical activity, and exhaustion). Then the logistic regression model and CART decision tree model were established separately to explore the influential factors of frailty after kidney transplantation. Results: Frail kidney transplant recipients accounted for 25.9% (n=52) of all participants. The age [M (Q1, Q3)] of the frailty group was higher than that of the non-frailty group, and the median ages of the two groups were 57(49, 62) and 46(38, 56) (P<0.001); the males accounted for 51.9% (n=27) and 62.4% (n=93), respectively. There was no significant difference in gender composition (P=0.244). Among the five components of Fried Frailty Scale, the incidence of unexpected shrinking was the lowest (19.4%, 39/201). In the frailty group, the frailty combination with the highest incidence was slow walking speed+low physical activity+exhaustion, which was 19.2% (10/52). The logistic regression model showed that advanced age (OR=1.062, 95%CI: 1.005-1.123), history of acute rejection (OR=16.776, 95%CI: 2.288-123.028), increased neutrophil/lymphocyte ratio (NLR) (OR=2.096, 95%CI: 1.158-3.792), and comorbidity (OR=10.600, 95%CI: 1.828-61.482) were risk factors for frailty among kidney transplant recipients, and high serum albumin level (OR=0.623, 95%CI: 0.488-0.795) was a protective factor. The CART decision tree grew in three layers with four terminal nodes, and three explanatory variables were screened out: serum albumin, NLR, and age. The accuracy, sensitivity, and specificity of the logistic regression model were 87.1% (95%CI: 82.5%-91.7%), 69.2% (95%CI: 54.7%-80.9%), and 93.3% (95%CI: 87.7%-96.6%), respectively. The area under the ROC curve (AUC) of the logistic regression model was 0.951 (95%CI: 0.923-0.978). The accuracy, sensitivity, and specificity of the CART decision tree model were 91.0% (95%CI: 87.0%-95.0%), 82.7% (95%CI: 69.2%-91.3%), and 94.0% (95%CI: 88.5%-97.0%), respectively. The AUC of the CART decision tree model was 0.883 (95%CI: 0.819-0.948). Conclusions: The prevalence of frailty among kidney transplant recipients in this study is 25.9%. Advanced age, history of acute rejection, low serum albumin level, increased NLR, and comorbidity are likely to be associated with the long-term frailty among kidney transplant recipients.

Abstract
In real-world production processes, the same enterprise often has multiple factories or one factory has multiple production lines, and multiple objectives need to be considered in the production process. A dual-population genetic algorithm with Q-learning is proposed to minimize the maximum completion time and the number of tardy jobs for distributed hybrid flow shop scheduling problems, which have some symmetries in machines. Multiple crossover and mutation operators are proposed, and only one search strategy combination, including one crossover operator and one mutation operator, is selected in each iteration. A population assessment method is provided to evaluate the evolutionary state of the population at the initial state and after each iteration. Two populations adopt different search strategies, in which the best search strategy is selected for the first population and the search strategy of the second population is selected under the guidance of Q-learning. Experimental results show that the dual-population genetic algorithm with Q-learning is competitive for solving multi-objective distributed hybrid flow shop scheduling problems.

Abstract
Convenient and sensitive trace water indication is of great significance in various industrial processes. Here, a flower-like metal-organic framework Cu-FMM is assembled from ultrathin nanosheets that change its coordination structure reversibly with the capture and loss of water molecules, enabling sensitive trace water naked-eye colorimetric indication ability. A recognizable black/yellow color change can be observed when the dried Cu-FMM is exposed to the atmosphere or solvent with trace water as low as RH 3% and a water content of 0.25‰ (v/v) and further enables potential trace water imaging applications. The excellent accessibility of the multi-scale pore structure of Cu-FMM contributes to a fast response time of 3.8 s with good reversibility (>100 cycles), outperforming traditional coordination polymer humidity sensors. The present study provides new inspirations for the design of sensitive and applicable naked-eye water indicator materials that are applicable to in situ and continuous monitoring in industrial processes.

Abstract
The emergence of drug-resistant tuberculosis has created an urgent need for new anti-tubercular agents. Here, we report the discovery of a series of macrolides called sequanamycins with outstanding in vitro and in vivo activity against Mycobacterium tuberculosis (Mtb). Sequanamycins are bacterial ribosome inhibitors that interact with the ribosome in a similar manner to classic macrolides like erythromycin and clarithromycin, but with binding characteristics that allow them to overcome the inherent macrolide resistance of Mtb. Structures of the ribosome with bound inhibitors were used to optimize sequanamycin to produce the advanced lead compound SEQ-9. SEQ-9 was efficacious in mouse models of acute and chronic TB as a single agent, and it demonstrated bactericidal activity in a murine TB infection model in combination with other TB drugs. These results support further investigation of this series as TB clinical candidates, with the potential for use in new regimens against drug-susceptible and drug-resistant TB.

Abstract
The objective of this study was to determine the relationship between renal injury and inflammatory response induced by high-fat diet in rabbits and the interventional effect of allisartan. Fifteen 6-week-old healthy male rabbits were randomly divided into three groups: normal control (NC) group, high-lipid diet (HLD) group, high-lipid diet and allisartan (HLD+ALST) group. After allisartan treatment for 12 weeks, changes in total cholesterol (TC), triglycerides (TG), high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C), low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C), serum creatinine (Scr) and blood urea nitrogen (BUN) were measured enzymatically in the three groups. The left side of the kidney tissue was kept for paraffin section, and HE staining, periodic acid-Schiff (PAS) staining and Masson staining were used to observe the renal pathologic changes. TC, TG, LDL-C, Scr and BUN levels were all higher and HDL-C levels were lower in the HLD group compared with the NC group. Compared with the HLD group, Scr and BUN levels were significantly decreased in the HLD+ALST group. The results of HE staining showed that allisartan improved the changes of renal tissue morphology in rabbits on high-fat diet, reduced glomerular mesangial cell proliferation and improved glomerulosclerosis; PAS staining showed that glomerular glycogen deposition was reduced and glomerular red staining was significantly lighter; Masson staining showed that renal tubular blue-stained collagen fibers were reduced. In conclusion, hyperlipidemia can lead to aberrant expression of multiple cellular proteins and kidney tissue morphological damage in rabbits. On the other hand, allisartan attenuated renal injury and the mechanism may be related to the downregulation of the inflammatory response.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Observational studies have shown home hemodialysis (HHD) to be associated with better survival than facility hemodialysis (HD) and peritoneal dialysis (PD). Patients on HHD have reported higher quality of life and independence. HHD is considered to be an economical way to manage end-stage kidney disease (ESKD). The coronavirus disease 2019 pandemic has had a significant impact on patients with ESKD. Patients on HHD may have an advantage over in-center HD patients because of a lower risk of exposure to infection. PARTICIPANTS AND METHODS We enrolled HD patients from our dialysis center. We first established the HHD training center. The training center was approved by the Chinese government. Doctors, nurses and engineers train and assess patients separately. There are three forms of patient monitoring: home visits, internet remote monitoring, and outpatient services. Demographic and medical data included age, sex, blood pressure, and dialysis-related data. Laboratory tests were conducted in our central testing laboratory, including hemoglobin (Hgb), serum creatinine (Cr), urea nitrogen (BUN), uric acid (UA), albumin (Alb), calcium (Ca), phosphorus (P), parathyroid hormone (PTH), and brain natriuretic peptide (BNP) levels. RESULTS Six patients who underwent regular dialysis in the HD center of our hospital were selected for HHD training. We enrolled 6 patients, including 4 males and 2 females. The mean age of the patients was 47.5 (34.7-55.7) years, and the mean dialysis age was 33.5 (11.2-41.5) months. After an average of 16.0 (11.2-25.5) months of training, Alb, P and BNP levels were improved compared with the baseline values. After training, three patients returned home to begin independent HD. During the follow-up, there were no serious adverse events leading to hospitalization or death, but there were several adverse events. They were solved quickly by extra home visits of the technicians or online by remote monitoring. During the follow-up time, the laboratory indicators of all the patients, including Hgb, Alb, Ca, P, PTH, BNP, and β2-MG levels, remained stable before and after HHD treatment. CONCLUSION HHD is feasible and safe for ESKD in China, but larger-scale and longer-term studies are needed for further confirmation.

Abstract
Understanding the targets and interactions of long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) related to the retinoic acid-inducible gene-I (RIG-I) signaling pathway is essential for developing interventions, which would enable directing the host inflammatory response regulation toward protective immunity. In the RIG-I signaling pathway, lncRNAs are involved in the important processes of ubiquitination, phosphorylation, and glycolysis, thus promoting the transport of the interferon regulatory factors 3 and 7 (IRF3 and IRF7) and the nuclear factor kappa B (NF-κB) into the nucleus, and activating recruitment of type I interferons (IFN-I) and inflammatory factors to the antiviral action site. In addition, the RIG-I signaling pathway has recently been reported to contain the targets of coronavirus disease-19 (COVID-19)-related lncRNAs. The molecules in the RIG-I signaling pathway are directly regulated by the lncRNA-microRNAs (miRNAs)-messenger RNA (mRNA) axis. Therefore, targeting this axis has become a novel strategy for the diagnosis and treatment of cancer. In this paper, the studies on the regulation of the RIG-I signaling pathway by lncRNAs during viral infections and cancer are comprehensively analyzed. The aim is to provide a solid foundation of information for conducting further detailed studies on lncRNAs and RIG-I in the future and also contribute to clinical drug development.

Abstract
The objective of this study was to determine the relationship between renal injury and inflammatory response induced by high-fat diet in rabbits and the interventional effect of allisartan. Fifteen 6-week-old healthy male rabbits were randomly divided into three groups: normal control (NC) group, high-lipid diet (HLD) group, high-lipid diet and allisartan (HLD+ALST) group. After allisartan treatment for 12 weeks, changes in total cholesterol (TC), triglycerides (TG), high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C), low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C), serum creatinine (Scr) and blood urea nitrogen (BUN) were measured enzymatically in the three groups. The left side of the kidney tissue was kept for paraffin section, and HE staining, periodic acid-Schiff (PAS) staining and Masson staining were used to observe the renal pathologic changes. TC, TG, LDL-C, Scr and BUN levels were all higher and HDL-C levels were lower in the HLD group compared with the NC group. Compared with the HLD group, Scr and BUN levels were significantly decreased in the HLD+ALST group. The results of HE staining showed that allisartan improved the changes of renal tissue morphology in rabbits on high-fat diet, reduced glomerular mesangial cell proliferation and improved glomerulosclerosis; PAS staining showed that glomerular glycogen deposition was reduced and glomerular red staining was significantly lighter; Masson staining showed that renal tubular blue-stained collagen fibers were reduced. In conclusion, hyperlipidemia can lead to aberrant expression of multiple cellular proteins and kidney tissue morphological damage in rabbits. On the other hand, allisartan attenuated renal injury and the mechanism may be related to the downregulation of the inflammatory response.

Abstract
Background Dextrocardia is a congenital heart malformation with a low incidence that occurs in only 1 in 10,000–12,000 people. Wolff-Parkinson-White (WPW) syndrome is a congenital condition with additional accessory pathways between the atria and the ventricle, which affects up to three in 1,000 people worldwide. Experience of radiofrequency catheter ablation in patients with WPW syndrome and dextrocardia is scarce due to its rare incidence. Case presentation A 39-year-old female was hospitalized due to two episodes of palpitations in the latest 2 months. The morphology of the P-QRS-T complex of lead aVR and aVL, II, and III were presented invertedly as common conditions, and shortened P-R interval and a characteristic “delta” wave were shown on the electrocardiogram (EGM). The patient with dextrocardia and situs invertus malposition was confirmed by chest-X ray, cardiac color Doppler echocardiography. The patient was diagnosed with WPW syndrome with dextrocardia and underwent radiofrequency catheter ablation (RFCA) successfully. In this case, the key to the success of RFCA is to understand the anatomical structure of the heart and the great vessels before the operation and make a personalized operative plan. Conclusion Catheter ablation for tachycardia patients with dextrocardia is efficient and safe. For patients with dextrocardia, the key to successful ablation was adjusting for projection angulation and different catheter manipulation compared with a standard case because of the mirror image of a normal heart.

Abstract
Introduction: Differentiating idiopathic premature ventricular contractions (PVCs) originating from the right and left ventricular outflow tracts with a left bundle branch block (LBBB) morphology is relevant to catheter ablation planning and important for lowering the risk of complications. This study established a novel electrocardiographic (ECG) criterion to discriminate PVCs originating from the septum of the right ventricular outflow tract (s-RVOT) and those originating from the aortic sinus cusp of the left ventricular outflow tract (LVOT-ASC). Methods: A total of 259 patients with idiopathic PVCs originating from ventricular outflow tract with a LBBB pattern who underwent successful catheter ablation were retrospectively included. Among them, the PVCs originated from the s-RVOT in 183 patients and from the LVOT-ASC in 76 patients. The surface ECGs of the PVCs and sinus beats were analyzed using an electronic caliper. The R-S difference index in the precordial leads was calculated as V2R + V3R + V4R − V1S. Results: PVCs originating from both the s-RVOT and LVOT-ASC displayed an inferior axis (dominant R waves in leads II, III, and aVF). Compared with the s-RVOT group, the R-wave amplitudes on leads II, III, and aVF were significantly larger in the LVOT-ASC group (p < 0.001, p < 0.003, and p < 0.001, respectively). Compared to the LVOT-ASC group, the s-RVOT group showed smaller R-wave amplitudes on leads V1–V6 (p = 0.021, p < 0.001, p < 0.001, p < 0.001, p < 0.001, and p < 0.001, respectively) and larger S-wave amplitudes on leads V1–V3 (p < 0.001, p < 0.001, and p < 0.001, respectively). Lead V3 was the most common transitional lead in both groups. Analysis of the receiver operating characteristic curve showed that the R-wave amplitude on lead V3 had the largest area under the curve (AUC) of 0.856 followed by the R-wave amplitudes on leads V4 (0.834) and V2 (0.806). The AUC of the R-S difference index was 0.867. An R-S difference index greater than 20.9 predicted an LVOT-ASC origin with 73.7% sensitivity and 86.3% specificity. This index is superior to previous criteria in differentiating PVCs with LBBB morphology and inferior axis originating from s-RVOT vs. LVOT-ASC. Conclusions: The R-S difference index in precordial leads is a useful new ECG criterion for distinguishing LVOT-PVCs from RVOT-PVCs with LBBB morphology.

Abstract
Objectives To compare the safety and efficacy of completely zero-fluoroscopy radiofrequency ablation (RFA) with that of conventional RFA guided by three-dimensional mapping in Chinese children with paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia (PSVT). Methods The study had a single-center observational design and included 46 children aged 6–14 years who underwent RFA for PSVT at the Second Hospital of Hebei Medical University between March 2019 and September 2021. The children were divided according to whether they underwent zero-fluoroscopy RFA (zero-fluoroscopy group, n = 26) or routine RFA under X-ray guidance (conventional group, n = 20). Three-dimensional mapping was used in both groups. Baseline characteristics, total procedure time, RFA time, volume and duration of X-ray exposure, target mapping time, the immediate RFA success rate, incidence of complications, and recurrence rate were compared between the two groups. Results The children had a median age of 12 years (interquartile range 10, 13), 47.8% (22/46) were boys, and 52.2% (24/46) were girls. The mean body weight was 48.75 ± 15.26 kg. There was no significant between-group difference in the baseline data (P > 0.05). All children were followed up as outpatients at 1, 3, and 6 months postoperatively. The target mapping time was significantly longer in the zero-fluoroscopy group than in the conventional group (12.96 ± 2.24 min vs. 6.65 ± 2.56 min, P < 0.05); however, there was no significant between-group difference in the immediate success rate (100% vs. 100%), success rate at 6 months postoperatively (92.30% vs. 95.00%), complication rate (0% vs. 0.05%), recurrence rate (7.70% vs. 5.00%), RFA time (212.50 s vs. 214.00 s), or total procedure time (78.50 min vs. 74.00 min) (P > 0.05). Conclusion Zero-fluoroscopy catheter ablation can completely avoid fluoroscopy exposure in children without affecting the safety and efficacy of RFA.

Abstract
CONTEXT Idiopathic ventricular arrhythmias (IVAs) are a spectrum of ventricular arrhythmia (VA) without structural heart disease (SHD), that includes premature ventricular contractions (PVCs) and ventricular tachycardia (VT). The clinical characteristics of patients with PVCs or VT remain unclear, including distribution of the origin of arrhythmias, age and gender differences, comorbidities, laboratory tests, and electrocardiographic parameters. OBJECTIVE The study intended to compare the clinical characteristics of the right ventricular outflow tract (RVOT)- and left ventricular outflow tract (LVOT)-VT of a large group of consecutive patients, to investigate the distribution of the origin of the arrhythmias, age and gender differences, comorbidities, laboratory-examination results, and echocardiographic parameters. METHODS The research team designed a retrospective study to collect data on the above-mentioned variables. SETTING The study occurred at the Second Hospital of Hebei Medical University in Shijiazhuang, China. PARTICIPANTS Participants were 774 patients with symptomatic ventricular arrhythmias, 328 males and 446 females with the mean age of 48.6 ± 15.7 years, who underwent catheter ablation between January 2015 and January 2019. Participants were divided into the right ventricular outflow tract (RVOT) group and left ventricular outflow tract (LVOT) group, according to the different origins of their arrhythmias, with 428 participants in the RVOT group and 180 in the LVOT group. OUTCOME MEASURES The research team collected and analyzed the data for the original sites of the IVAs; ages; genders; comorbidities; laboratory examinations, including routine blood tests, liver function, kidney function, blood lipid and potassium; and echocardiographic parameters. RESULTS Among the 774 participants, 76 had experienced VTs and 698 PVCs. The original site of IVAs was 2.38 times more likely to be in the RVOT than the LVOT, with the ratio for RVOT/LVOT = 2.38. IVAs usually occurred in participants between 50 and 70 years old and exhibited a decreasing incidence after 70 years of age. IVAs derived from the His bundle were more common in older participants, with a mean age of 60.4 ± 10.4 years, while IVAs derived from the fascicular were more common in younger patients, with a mean age of 36.08 ± 16.01 years. Compared with the LVOT group, the RVOT group was younger, 51.91 ± 14.65 years vs 46.95 ± 14.95 years, respectively (P < .001). PVCs in the RVOT group were more common in women, with the ratio of females/males = 2.10, and no gender difference existed in the overall incidence of IVAs in the LVOT group (P > .05). The most common cardiovascular comorbidities of outflow tract ventricular arrhythmias (OTVAs) were hypertension, coronary heart disease, and hyperlipidemia, while the most common noncardiovascular comorbidities were diabetes, ischemic stroke, and thyroid disease. The red-blood-cell counts, hemoglobin, creatinine, and gamma-glutamyl transpeptidase (GGT) of the LVOT group were higher than those from the RVOT, with P = .008, P = .009, P = .001, and P < .001, respectively. The left atrial diameter (LAD), left ventricular end-diastolic diameter (LVEDD), interventricular septal thickness (IVS), and left ventricular posterior wall thickness (LVPWT) in the LVOT group were larger than those in the RVOT group (P <.001), while the LVOT group's left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF%) was lower than that of the RVOT group. CONCLUSIONS The outflow tract served as the major original site of IVAs, and significant differences existed between participants in the LVOT and RVOT groups in age; gender; comorbidities; results of laboratory examinations, including red-blood-cell counts, hemoglobin, creatinine, and GGT; and echocardiographic parameters, including LVEF%, LAD, LVEDD, IVS, and LVPWT.

Abstract
The reconstruction of a tubule-like structure in vitro has provided a promising system to analyze factors that drive morphogenesis and the underlying mechanisms. In this study, we took advantage of the inhibitor cyclopamine and a smoothened agonist to detect the role of the Dhh signaling pathway in the reconstructed tubule-like structure. Sertoli cells did not show polarity, rounded peritubular myoid cells and scattered Leydig cells were observed, combined with less laminin and lower proliferation of Leydig, peritubular myoid, germ, and Sertoli cells. However, in the presence of SAG, elongated peritubular myoid cells gathered at the bottom of polarized Sertoli cells, and most of the Leydig cells gathered at the outer part of the elongated peritubular myoid cells. Moreover, SAG promoted the secretion of laminin, assisting in the formation of the basal membrane and promoting the proliferation of Leydig, peritubular myoid, and germ cells. The level of Gli1 was significantly downregulated when treated with cyclopamine, whereas it was significantly upregulated when treated with SAG. These results indicate that the Dhh signaling pathway regulates the reconstruction of tubule-like structures by regulating the expression of Gli1.

Abstract
Objective: To investigate the value of predicting the degree of differentiation of pulmonary invasive adenocarcinoma (IAC) based on CT image radiomics model and the expression difference of immunohistochemical factors between different degrees of differentiation of lesions. Methods: The clinicopathological data of patients with pulmonary IAC confirmed by surgical pathology in the Affiliated Huai'an First People's Hospital to Nanjing Medical University from December 2017 to September 2018 were collected. High-throughput feature acquisition was performed for all outlined regions of interest, and prediction models were constructed after dimensionality reduction by the minimum absolute shrinkage operator. Receiver operating characteristic curve was used to assess the predictive efficacy of clinical characteristic model, radiomics model and individualized prediction model combined with both to identify the degree of pulmonary IAC differentiation, and immunohistochemical expressions of Ki-67, NapsinA and TTF-1 were compared between groups with different degrees of IAC differentiation using rank sum test. Results: A total of 396 high-throughput features were extracted from all IAC lesions, and 10 features with high generalization ability and correlation with the degree of IAC differentiation were screened. The mean radiomics score of poorly differentiated IAC in the training group (1.206) was higher than that of patients with high and medium differentiation (0.969, P=0.001), and the mean radiomics score of poorly differentiated IAC in the test group (1.545) was higher than that of patients with high and medium differentiation (-0.815, P<0.001). The differences in gender (P<0.001), pleural stretch sign (P=0.005), and burr sign (P=0.033) were statistically significant between patients in the well and poorly differentiated IAC groups. Multifactorial logistic regression analysis showed that gender and pleural stretch sign were related to the degree of IAC differentiation (P<0.05). The clinical feature model consisted of age, gender, pleural stretch sign, burr sign, tumor vessel sign, and vacuolar sign, and the individualized prediction model consisted of gender, pleural stretch sign, and radiomic score, and was represented by a nomogram. The Akaike information standard values of the radiomics model, clinical feature model and individualized prediction model were 54.756, 82.214 and 53.282, respectively. The individualized prediction model was most effective in identifying the degree of differentiation of pulmonary IAC, and the area under the curves (AUC) of the individualized prediction model in the training group and the test group were 0.92 (95% CI: 0.86-0.99) and 0.88 (95% CI: 0.74-1.00, respectively). The AUCs of the radiomics group model for predicting the degree of differentiation of pulmonary IAC in the training group and the test group were 0.91 (95% CI: 0.83-0.98) and 0.87 (95% CI: 0.72-1.00), respectively. The AUCs of the clinical characteristics model for predicting the degree of differentiation of pulmonary IACs in the training and test groups were 0.75 (95% CI: 0.63-0.86) and 0.76 (95% CI: 0.59-0.94), respectively. The expression level of Ki-67 in poorly differentiated IAC was higher than that in well-differentiated IAC (P<0.001). The expression levels of NapsinA, TTF-1 in poorly differentiated IAC were higher than those in well-differentiated IAC (P<0.05). Conclusions: Individualized prediction model consisted of gender, pleural stretch sign and radiomics score can discriminate the differentiation degree of IAC with the best performance in comparison with clinical feature model and radiomics model. Ki-67, NapsinA and TTF-1 express differently in different degrees of differentiation of IAC.

Abstract
Objective The aim of this study was to evaluate the association between subclinical thyroid dysfunction and the recurrence of atrial fibrillation (AF) after radiofrequency catheter ablation (RFCA). Methods We examined the association between subclinical thyroid dysfunction and the recurrence of AF at a large university-affiliated cardiac arrhythmia center in China. Data were collected from consecutive patients who underwent RFCA for AF, excluding those with a history of hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism, or ongoing medical treatment for hypothyroidism or hyperthyroidism, biochemically defined overt thyroid disease, and long-term use of amiodarone before admission. The primary end point was the recurrence of AF in a time-to-event analysis. We compared outcomes in patients who had subclinical hyperthyroidism or hypothyroidism with those who had euthyroid state, using a multivariable Cox model with inverse probability weighting and propensity score matching. Results In all, 93 patients were excluded from 435 consecutive patients who underwent RFCA for AF. Of the remaining 342 patients for the analysis, the prevalence of subclinical hyperthyroidism and subclinical hypothyroidism were 26 (7.6%) and 41 (12.0%), respectively; during a median follow-up of 489 days, 91 patients (26.6%) developed a primary end point event. In the main analysis of the multivariable Cox model, only subclinical hyperthyroidism [hazard ratio: 3.07, 95% confidence interval (CI): 1.54–6.14] was associated with an increased risk of end point event after adjusting for potential confounders. However, the association between subclinical hypothyroidism and the end point event was not significant (hazard ratio: 0.66, 95% CI: 0.31–1.43). Results were consistent either in multiple sensitivity analyses or across all subgroups of analysis. Compared with individuals with free triiodothyronine (fT3) in the lowest quintile, those with fT3 in the highest quintile had an HR of 2.23 (95% CI: 1.16–4.28) for recurrence of AF. With the increase of thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH), a reduction in the risk of recurrence of AF was detected in the adjusted model, and the hazard ratio (HR) per standard deviation (SD) increase was 0.82 (95% CI: 0.68–0.98). Conclusion In this retrospective cohort study involving patients who underwent RFCA for AF, patients with subclinical hyperthyroidism were associated with a markedly higher prevalence of recurrence of AF, whereas patients with subclinical hypothyroidism had a similar recurrence rate of AF compared to those with the euthyroid state.

Abstract
Objective: To evaluate the effects of a high-protein diet on anthropometric indices and blood lipid in overweight and obese children and provide evidence for their dietary management. Methods: This was a Meta-analysis. The randomized controlled trials on the effects of a high-protein diet on anthropometric indices and blood lipid in overweight and obese children published up to January 19, 2022 were searched in PubMed, Web of Science, Embase, Cochrane Library and CNKI database, with the key words of "child" "adolescent" "obesity" "overweight" "pediatric obesity" "weight loss" "dietary protein" "dietary carbohydrate" "caloric restrict" both in English and Chinese. The quality of the included literature was evaluated according to the "risk of bias" assessment tool, which included bias from the randomization process, deviation from intended interventions, missing outcome data, measurement of the outcome and selection of the reported results. Moreover, calculated the pooled mean difference, perform heterogeneity test, and assess publication bias. Results: A total of 8 articles were selected from the retrieved 4 836 articles, all in English. The sample sizes ranged from 4 to 120. The analysis showed that the post-intervention body mass index (mean difference (MD)=-0.66, 95%CI -1.76-0.44), body mass index Z-scores (MD=-0.09, 95%CI-0.23-0.05), fat content percentage (MD=-1.07, 95%CI-2.88-0.74), high density lipoprotein (MD=0.02, 95%CI-0.02-0.06) and low density lipoprotein (MD=0.04, 95%CI-0.08-0.17) were not significantly different with those of the standard protein diet group, with P values being 0.240, 0.220, 0.250, 0.360 and 0.480, respectively. Subgroup analysis showed that after excluding one study, the difference in body mass index between the short-term intervention group and control group was statistically significant (MD=-1.60, 95%CI-3.14--0.06, P=0.040). Conclusions: A short-term high-protein diet intervention seems to improve the body mass index status of overweight and obese children. Nevertheless, a high-protein diet does not affect any other selected anthropometric indices and blood lipids. More studies with large sample sizes, higher quality and comparable standard of high-protein diet are needed for further demonstration.

Abstract
Background: Prostate cancer (PCa) is an epithelial malignant tumor that occurs in the urinary system with high incidence and is the second most common cancer among men in the world. Thus, it is important to screen out potential key biomarkers for the pathogenesis and prognosis of PCa. The present study aimed to identify potential biomarkers to reveal the underlying molecular mechanisms. Methods: Differentially expressed genes (DEGs) between PCa tissues and matched normal tissues from The Cancer Genome Atlas Prostate Adenocarcinoma (TCGA-PRAD) dataset were screened out by R software. Weighted gene co-expression network analysis was performed primarily to identify statistically significant genes for clinical manifestations. Protein–protein interaction (PPI) network analysis and network screening were performed based on the STRING database in conjunction with Cytoscape software. Hub genes were then screened out by Cytoscape in conjunction with stepwise algorithm and multivariate Cox regression analysis to construct a risk model. Gene expression in different clinical manifestations and survival analysis correlated with the expression of hub genes were performed. Moreover, the protein expression of hub genes was validated by the Human Protein Atlas database. Results: A total of 1,621 DEGs (870 downregulated genes and 751 upregulated genes) were identified from the TCGA-PRAD dataset. Eight prognostic genes [BUB1, KIF2C, CCNA2, CDC20, CCNB2, PBK, RRM2, and CDC45] and four hub genes (BUB1, KIF2C, CDC20, and PBK) potentially correlated with the pathogenesis of PCa were identified. A prognostic model with good predictive power for survival was constructed and was validated by the dataset in GSE21032. The survival analysis demonstrated that the expression of RRM2 was statistically significant to the prognosis of PCa, indicating that RRM2 may potentially play an important role in the PCa progression. Conclusion: The present study implied that RRM2 was associated with prognosis and could be used as a potential therapeutic target for PCa clinical treatment.

Abstract
Objectives: Lactobacillus reuteri Fn041 (Fn041) is a probiotic isolated from immunoglobulin A coated microbiota in the human breast milk of Gannan in China with a low incidence of hypercholesterolemia. This study aims to explore the role and mechanism of Fn041 in preventing hypercholesterolemia caused by a high-fat diet in mice. Methods C57BL/6N mice were fed a low-fat diet or a high-fat diet and gavage with Fn041 and Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG (LGG) for 8 weeks. Results Both Fn041 and LGG prevented the occurrence of hypercholesterolemia, liver and testicular fat accumulation. In addition, a high-fat diet causes intestinal dysbiosis and mucosal barrier damage, which is associated with hypercholesterolemia. Fn041 prevented the high-fat diet-induced reduction in alpha diversity of intestinal microbiota and intestinal mucosal barrier damage. Fn041 treatment significantly increased fecal total cholesterol and total bile acids. Conclusions Fn041 prevented hypercholesterolemia by enhancing cholesterol excretion and mucosal barrier function.

Abstract
Host-guest inclusion, constructed by inserting small molecules into voids of energetic crystals, is a novel strategy for creating new energetic materials (EMs) with desired energy and safety. To provide an atomistic-level insight into the fact that small guest molecules can effectively regulate the stability and sensitivity of CL-20, we conducted ReaxFF-lg reactive molecular dynamics simulations on electric-field (EF)-induced decomposition of two typical host-guest EMs, CL-20/H2O2 and CL-20/N2O, and compared it to that of α-CL-20 and ε-CL-20. Our findings show that the sensitivity order of the CL-20-based EMs under EFs, α-CL-20/H2O2 > ε-CL-20 > α-CL-20 > α-CL-20/N2O, agrees well with the sensitivity obtained from the experiment (ε-CL-20 > α-CL-20 > α-CL-20/N2O). Different effects of H2O2 and N2O molecules were found responsible for the distinct stability and sensitivity of these materials toward EFs. On the one hand, H2O2 accelerate(s) the structural transformation of CL-20 and thus increases the sensitivity, because the wobbling NO2 group reduces the stability of CL-20 by weakening its adjacent C-N bonds, whereas N2O makes this transition less likely, resulting in low sensitivity of α-CL-20/N2O. On the other hand, H2O2 and its decomposition intermediate OH radical can promote destruction of CL-20's cage structure and produce a large amount of water molecules to release heat, making CL-20/H2O2 to decompose faster than ε-CL-20. N2O molecules rarely react with CL-20 molecules but absorb heat from the surrounding decomposed CL-20 and thus slow down CL-20's decomposition, resulting in low sensitivity of α-CL-20/N2O, as confirmed by transition-state calculations. The results provide a comprehensive understanding of the stability and sensitivity of CL-20-based host-guest explosives under EFs.

Abstract
Three components of L-ascorbic acid, amino acid and functionalized norcantharidins were constructed together in several steps to form 42 norcantharidin derivatives in a high yield. The structure of these synthesized l-ascorbic acid-amino acid-norcantharidin conjugates are determined by 1HNMR, 13CNMR and MS spectrum. The results showed that compounds 6e, 6g, 6j, 6l, 6m, 6b, 6e, 6i, and 6n showed high cytotoxicity to HepG2 and compounds 6b, 6e-g, 6l, 6n, 7b, 7d, 7h, 7i, 7n, 8g, 8i exhibited high cytotoxicity to SW480; Meanwhile, besides 6b, 6e, 6g, and 6k, the other compounds showed less toxic to LO2 at a concentration of 50 μg/mg after 72 h. Compound 6g can induce Mφ-type macrophages derived from mouse bone marrow to polarize to M1-type macrophages.

Abstract
As a main bioactive component extracted from Evodiae fructus, evodiamine has a variety of pharmacological activities. In this paper, evodiamine was chosen as starting material to react with different halides. Upon treatment of TFA, a series of novel ring-opening evodiamine derivatives 3a-o were successfully synthesized in a moderate to high yields. These obtained compounds exhibit a moderate to good antitumor activity against BGC803 and SW480 in vitro test by MTT assay. The results showed that hexyl substituted evodiamine derivative (3j, R=hexyl) has a strong antitumor activity against BGC803 and SW480.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Breast cancer imposes a considerable burden on both the health care system and society, and becomes increasingly severe among women in China. To reduce the economic burden of this disease is crucial for patients undergoing the breast cancer surgery, hospital managers, and medical insurance providers. However, few studies have evidenced the prediction of the total hospital expenses (THE) for breast cancer surgery. The aim of the study is to predict THE for breast cancer surgery and identify the main influencing factors. METHODS Data were retrieved from the first page of medical records of 3699 patients undergoing breast cancer surgery in one tertiary hospital from 2017 to 2018. Multiple liner regression (MLR), artificial neural networks (ANNs), and classification and regression tree (CART) were constructed and compared. RESULTS The dataset from 3699 patients were randomly divided into training and test sets at a 70:30 ratio (2599 and 1100 records, respectively). The average total hospital expenses were 12520.54 ± 7844.88 ¥ (US$ 1929.20 ± 1208.11). MLR results revealed six factors to be significantly associated with THE: age, LOS, type of disease, having medical insurance, minimally invasive surgery, and receiving general anesthesia. After comparing three models, ANNs was the best model to predict THEs in patients undergoing breast cancer surgery, and its strong predictive performance was also validated. CONCLUSIONS To reduce the THEs, more attention should be paid to related factors of LOS, major and minimally invasive surgeries, and general anesthesia for these patient groups undergoing breast cancer surgery. This may reduce the information asymmetry between doctors and patients and provide more reliable cost, practical inpatient medical consumption standards and reimbursement standards reference for patients, hospital managers, and medical insurance providers ,respectively.

Abstract
Glioma is the most common malignant tumor in adult brain characteristic with poor prognosis and low survival rate. Despite the application of advanced surgery, chemotherapy, and radiotherapy, the patients with glioma suffer poor treatment effects due to the complex molecular mechanisms of pathological process. In this paper, we conducted the experiments to prove the critical roles TET1 played in glioma and explored the downstream targets of TET1 in order to provide a novel theoretical basis for clinical glioma therapy. RT-qPCR was adopted to detect the RNA level of TET1 and β-catenin; Western blot was taken to determine the expression of proteins. CCK8 assay was used to detect the proliferation of glioma cells. Flow cytometry was used to test cell apoptosis and distribution of cell cycle. To detect the migration and invasion of glioma cells, wound healing assay and Transwell were performed. It was found that downregulation of TET1 could promote the proliferation migration and invasion of glioma cells and the concomitant upregulation of β-catenin, and its downstream targets like cyclinD1 and c-myc were observed. The further rescue experiments were performed, wherein downregulation of β-catenin markedly decreases glioma cell proliferation in vitro and in vivo. This study confirmed the tumor suppressive function of TET1 and illustrated the underlying molecular mechanisms regulated by TET1 in glioma.

Abstract
Electric field can initiate decomposition or detonation of explosives, but underlying mechanism is unclear. Here, we performed ReaxFF molecular dynamics simulation for decomposition of a cocrystal, formed by 2,4,6,8,10,12-hexanitro-2,4,6,8,10,12-hexaazaisowurtzitane (CL-20) and 1,3,5,7-tetranitro-1,3,5,7-tetrazacyclooctane (HMX), solely induced by electric field. A new analytical method was proposed to obtain detailed decomposition mechanism. Results show that electric fields play important roles in decomposition of CL-20/HMX cocrystal, such as heating the system and causing the explosive to decompose. Strong constant field makes CL-20 molecules in the cocrystal decompose at significantly lower temperature, which greatly increases sensitivity. This is ascribed to the distinct decomposition mechanism that CN bond rupture dominates the initial step of CL-20's decomposition. Contrarily, oscillating field has a stronger heating effect but weaker influence on sensitivity. Moreover, HMX exhibits desensitizing effect in CL-20/HMX cocrystal under electric field. These results enhance our understanding of sensitivity mechanism beyond mechanical stimuli in explosives.

Abstract
AIM The current study aimed to establish a novel electrocardiographic (ECG) criterion for discrimination of idiopathic premature ventricular contractions (PVCs) originating from posteroseptal right ventricular outflow tract (sRVOT-p) versus right coronary cusp (RCC). METHODS A total of 76 patients with idiopathic PVCs who underwent mapping and successful ablation were retrospectively included. Among them, 37 patients had PVCs from sRVOT-p origin and 39 patients from RCC origin. The surface ECGs during PVCs were recorded. S-R different index in V1/V3 was calculated with the following formula of 0.134*V3R-0.133*V1S. RESULTS ECG characteristics showed wider total QRS duration, smaller R-wave amplitude on lead V2-V5, and larger S-wave amplitude on lead V1-V3 in sRVOT-p origin than RCC origin. Lead V3 was the most common transitional lead in two groups. Receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve analysis showed that S-wave amplitude on lead V1 exhibited the largest AUC of 0.772, followed by the AUC of R-wave amplitude on lead V3 of 0.771. Subsequently, 0.134*V3R-0.133*V1S index was obtained by multiplication, subtraction, sum, and division of these ECG measurements, which exhibited the largest AUC of 0.808. The optimal cut-off value was -0.26 for differentiating RCC from sRVOT-p origin, with the sensitivity of 78.4% and specificity of 77.8%. Moreover, 0.134*V3R-0.133*V1S index was superior to previous criteria in analysis of PVCs originating from sRVOT-p and RCC. CONCLUSIONS 0.134*V3R-0.133*V1S is a novel ECG criterion to discriminate sRVOT-p from RCC origin in patients with idiopathic PVCs, which may provide guidance for approach of radiofrequency catheter ablation.
