Abstract
BACKGROUND There are disparities in the prevalence of physical activity (PA) with women engaging in less PA than men, a gap which widens during midlife. Walking is a generally accepted form of PA among women and should be encouraged. Motivations, barriers, and attitudes to engaging in walking change with age, but the influencing factors are not well understood nor are the features of mobile apps that facilitate daily walking. OBJECTIVE This study explores the relationship between age and women's self-reported motivations, barriers, attitudes, and beliefs toward daily walking. It further assesses attitudes toward features of a mobile app designed to sync with a wearable step tracker to increase and maintain levels of daily walking among women. METHODS A web-based anonymous survey was completed by 400 women, aged 21-75 years. The 31-item survey captured women's perceived barriers and motivators toward daily walking and attitudes toward mobile apps to support and maintain daily walking. For analysis, responses to the survey were grouped into 2 categories of women: ages 21-49 years and ages 50-75 years. Bivariate analyses were conducted through SPSS (IBM Corp) for each of the survey questions using chi-square for dichotomous variables and 1-tailed t tests for scales and continuous variables to identify significant differences between the groups. One-tailed t tests were run for scaled variables to identify significant differences between the 10-year age increments. RESULTS Significant barriers to daily walking were observed in the 21-49-year group for personal and work responsibilities, motivational and psychosocial factors, and physical and environmental factors. Motivators to walk daily in the 21- 49-year group were significantly higher to reduce stress and anxiety, and motivators to walk daily in the 50-75-year group were significantly higher to help manage or lose weight and to reduce the risk of chronic illness. Women's walking preferences, beliefs around their walking behaviors, and their perceived importance of the features of a future mobile app for walking designed specifically for women showed significant variation according to age. When asked about the importance of features for a mobile app, women aged 21-49 years indicated a significantly higher number of positive responses for the following features: digital community support, rewards or point system, and seeing a daily or weekly or monthly progress chart. CONCLUSIONS Our findings indicate that barriers, motivators, and beliefs around daily walking and the importance of preferred features of a mobile app vary according to women's ages. Messaging and app features should be tailored to different age groups of women. These study results can be viewed as a foundation for future research and development of mobile health interventions to effectively increase daily walking among women of all ages.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Vaccine misinformation has been widely spread on social media, but attempts to combat it have not taken advantage of the attributes of social media platforms for health education. METHODS The objective was to test the efficacy of moderated social media discussions about COVID-19 vaccines in private Facebook groups. Unvaccinated U.S. adults were recruited using Amazon's Mechanical Turk and randomized. In the intervention group, moderators posted two informational posts per day for 4 weeks and engaged in relationship-building interactions with group members. In the control group, participants received a referral to Facebook's COVID-19 Information Center. Follow-up surveys with participants (N = 478) were conducted 6 weeks post-enrollment. RESULTS At 6 weeks follow-up, no differences were found in vaccination rates. Intervention participants were more likely to show improvements in their COVID-19 vaccination intentions (vs. stay same or decline) compared with control (p = .03). They also improved more in their intentions to encourage others to vaccinate for COVID-19. There were no differences in COVID-19 vaccine confidence or intentions between groups. General vaccine and responsibility to vaccinate were higher in the intervention compared with control. Most participants in the intervention group reported high levels of satisfaction. Participants engaged with content (e.g., commented, reacted) 11.8 times on average over the course of 4 weeks. CONCLUSIONS Engaging with vaccine-hesitant individuals in private Facebook groups improved some COVID-19 vaccine-related beliefs and represents a promising strategy.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Distrust and partisan identity are theorized to undermine health communications. We examined the role of these factors on the efficacy of discussion groups intended to promote vaccine uptake. METHOD We analyzed survey data from unvaccinated Facebook users (N = 371) living in the US between January and April 2022. Participants were randomly assigned to Facebook discussion groups (intervention) or referred to Facebook's COVID-19 Information Center (control). We used Analysis of Covariance to test if the intervention was more effective at changing vaccination intentions and beliefs compared to the control in subgroups based on participants' partisan identity, political views, and information trust views. RESULTS We found a significant interaction between the intervention and trust in public health institutions (PHIs) for improving intentions to vaccinate (P = .04), intentions to encourage others to vaccinate (P = .03), and vaccine confidence beliefs (P = .01). Among participants who trusted PHIs, those in the intervention had higher posttest intentions to vaccinate (P = .008) and intentions to encourage others to vaccinate (P = .002) compared to the control. Among non-conservatives, participants in the intervention had higher posttest intentions to vaccinate (P = .048). The intervention was more effective at improving intentions to encourage others to vaccinate within the subgroups of Republicans (P = .03), conservatives (P = .02), and participants who distrusted government (P = .02). CONCLUSIONS Facebook discussion groups were more effective for people who trusted PHIs and non-conservatives. Health communicators may need to segment health messaging and develop strategies around trust views.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Limited data are available on the effects of systemic immunomodulatory treatments on COVID-19 outcomes in patients with atopic dermatitis (AD). OBJECTIVE To investigate COVID-19 outcomes in patients with AD treated with or without systemic immunomodulatory treatments, using a global registry platform. METHODS Clinicians were encouraged to report cases of COVID-19 in their patients with AD in the Surveillance Epidemiology of Coronavirus Under Research Exclusion for Atopic Dermatitis (SECURE-AD) registry. Data entered from 1 April 2020 to 31 October 2021 were analysed using multivariable logistic regression. The primary outcome was hospitalization from COVID-19, according to AD treatment groups. RESULTS 442 AD patients (mean age 35.9 years, 51.8% male) from 27 countries with strongly suspected or confirmed COVID-19 were included in analyses. 428 (96.8%) patients were treated with a single systemic therapy (n = 297 [67.2%]) or topical therapy only (n = 131 [29.6%]). Most patients treated with systemic therapies received dupilumab (n = 216). Fourteen patients (3.2%) received a combination of systemic therapies. Twenty-six patients (5.9%) were hospitalized. No deaths were reported. Patients treated with topical treatments had significantly higher odds of hospitalization, compared with those treated with dupilumab monotherapy (odds ratio (OR) 4.65 [95%CI 1.71-14.78]), including after adjustment for confounding variables (adjusted OR (aOR) 4.99 [95%CI 1.4-20.84]). Combination systemic therapy which did not include systemic corticosteroids was associated with increased odds of hospitalization, compared with single agent non-steroidal immunosuppressive systemic treatment (OR 8.09 [95%CI 0.4-59.96], aOR 37.57 [95%CI 1.05-871.11]). Hospitalization was most likely in patients treated with combination systemic therapy which included systemic corticosteroids (OR 40.43 [95%CI 8.16-207.49], aOR 45.75 [95%CI 4.54-616.22]). CONCLUSIONS Overall, the risk of COVID-19 complications appears low in patients with AD, even when treated with systemic immunomodulatory agents. Dupilumab monotherapy was associated with lower hospitalization than other therapies. Combination systemic treatment, particularly combinations including systemic corticosteroids, was associated with the highest risk of severe COVID-19.

Abstract
Abstract
Background
Lacosamide (LCM) is a third-generation anti-seizure medication (ASM) approved for focal onset epilepsy in patients aged ≥4 years. Previous studies have reported an efficacy of LCM as add-on treatment in brain tumour-related epilepsy (BTRE). To date, there are no studies in the literature focusing on lacosamide used in monotherapy to treat BTRE. In our retrospective study we investigated efficacy and tolerability of LCM in monotherapy in a multicentre national cohort of primary brain tumour patients.
Patients and Methods
Adult patients who were treated with LCM in monotherapy were collected from 12 Italian Centres (either mainly involved in neuro-oncology or in epileptology). Main inclusion criteria were diagnosis of primary brain tumour; at least two focal-onset seizures in the disease course; LCM used either as primary or secondary monotherapy after withdrawal of previous ASMs. For each patient, we evaluated seizure freedom at 3 and 6 months (primary endpoints), side effects and drop-out rate (secondary endpoints).
Results
We collected 132 patients. The majority of patients had a diagnosis of diffuse gliomas, being those with lower-grade glioma 66 (50.0%) and those with glioblastoma 33 (25.0%). Overall, LCM led to seizure-freedom in 64.4% of patients at 3 months and 55% at 6 months. Patients who used two or more ASMs before LCM had a worse seizure control than patients in monotherapy with LCM as first choice.In 14 patients, we observed seizure control despite tumour progression on magnetic resonance (MRI). Multivariate analysis showed that gross-total resection at diagnosis and use of steroids were significantly associated with higher seizure freedom rate at 6 months. Side effects were mainly mild (grade 1-2 according to the CTCAE classification), and the drop-out rate was low (1.5%). The main side effects were dizziness and somnolence.
Conclusion
This is the first study on the role of LCM in monotherapy in BTRE. The study has shown a good efficacy and tolerability of LCM with more than a half of patients becoming seizure-free at 6 months and with a very low rate of drop-out. Further studies are needed to confirm these preliminary data in a prospective manner, adding quality of life and neurocognitive functions as endpoints.

Abstract
Digital media are omnipresent in modern life, but the science on the impact of digital media on behavior is still in its infancy. There is an emerging evidence base of how to use digital media for behavior change. Strategies to change behavior implemented using digital technology have included a variety of platforms and program strategies, all of which are potentially more effective with increased frequency, intensity, interactivity, and feedback. It is critical to accelerate the pace of research on digital platforms, including social media, to understand and address its effects on human behavior. The purpose of the current paper is to provide an overview and describe methods in this emerging field, present use cases, describe a future agenda, and raise central questions to be addressed in future digital health research for behavior change. Digital media for behavior change employs three main methods: (1) digital media interventions, (2) formative research using digital media, and (3) digital media used to conduct evaluations. We examine use cases across several content areas including healthy weight management, tobacco control, and vaccination uptake, to describe and illustrate the methods and potential impact of this emerging field of study. In the discussion, we note that digital media interventions need to explore the full range of functionality of digital devices and their near-constant role in personal self-management and day-to-day living to maximize opportunities for behavior change. Future experimental research should rigorously examine the effects of variable levels of engagement with, and frequency and intensity of exposure to, multiple forms of digital media for behavior change.

Abstract
Background Moderate‐to‐severe atopic dermatitis (AD) in the adolescence is a high burden disease, and its treatment can be very challenging due to paucity of approved systemic drugs for this age and their side‐effects. Dupilumab was recently approved for treatment of adolescent AD. Objectives A multicentre, prospective, real‐world study on the effectiveness and safety of dupilumab in adolescents (aged from ≥12 to <18 years) with moderate‐to‐severe AD was conducted. The main AD clinical phenotypes were also examined. Methods Data of adolescents with moderate‐to‐severe AD treated with dupilumab at label dosage for 16 weeks were collected. Treatment outcome was assessed by EASI, NRS itch, NRS sleep loss and CDLQI scores at baseline and after 16 weeks of treatment. The clinical scores were also evaluated according to clinical phenotypes. Results One hundred and thirty‐nine adolescents were enrolled in the study. Flexural eczema and head and neck eczema were the most frequent clinical phenotypes, followed by hand eczema and portrait‐like dermatitis. Coexistence of more than 1 phenotype was documented in 126/139 (88.5%) adolescents. Three patients (2.1%) contracted asymptomatic SARS‐CoV‐2 infection and 1 of the discontinued dupilumab treatment before the target treatment period. A significant improvement in EASI, NRS itch, NRS sleep loss and CDLQI was observed after 16 weeks of treatment with dupilumab. This outcome was better than that observed in clinical trials. Dupilumab resulted effective in all AD phenotypes, especially in diffuse eczema. Twenty‐eight (20.1%) patients reported adverse events, conjunctivitis and flushing being the most frequent. None of patients discontinued dupilumab due to adverse event. Conclusions Dupilumab in adolescent AD showed excellent effectiveness at week 16 with consistent improvement of all clinical scores. Moreover, dupilumab showed a good safety profile also in this COVID‐19 pandemic era.

Abstract
Physical activity requirements (PAR; ie, courses required for graduation) have been proposed as a policy solution for increasing undergraduate physical activity. This study aimed to report prevalence of PAR among US colleges/universities participating in the American College Health Association-National College Health Assessment (ACHA-NCHA) and to understand whether these requirements were associated with campus characteristics. Data from the American College Health Association-National College Health Assessment II serial cross-sectional survey (2015–2019) were merged with researcher coded variables (2019): binary PAR status, nature of PAR (activity-based, conceptual, or combination), and number of courses required to fulfill the PAR. Logistic regression determined whether campus characteristics were associated with PAR in 2019. Nonparametric tests examined differences in nature and number of PAR courses. Of 379 schools, 59 (15.6%) had PAR, with 36 (61.0%) having activity-based PAR and 23 (39.0%) having a combination. Compared to public and four-year schools, private (OR=3.47 [1.77, 6.80]) and two-year schools (OR=6.55 [2.21, 19.45]) had significantly increased odds of having PAR. Private schools required significantly more PAR courses compared to public schools (2.42 vs. 1.73, P=.005). PAR were less prevalent in this sample than reported historically, indicating need for campus leadership attention to this issue. Research is needed to understand what barriers exist to implementing and maintaining PAR on college/university campuses, particularly among public and four-year schools. Understanding health promotion practices among ACHA member schools, which have made leadership commitments to promote student health, can provide greater knowledge of PAR barriers and best practices in schools across the United States and globally.

Abstract
Searches for the lepton number violating K^{+}→π^{-}μ^{+}e^{+} decay and the lepton flavor violating K^{+}→π^{+}μ^{-}e^{+} and π^{0}→μ^{-}e^{+} decays are reported using data collected by the NA62 experiment at CERN in 2017-2018. No evidence for these decays is found and upper limits of the branching ratios are obtained at 90% confidence level: B(K^{+}→π^{-}μ^{+}e^{+})<4.2×10^{-11}, B(K^{+}→π^{+}μ^{-}e^{+})<6.6×10^{-11} and B(π^{0}→μ^{-}e^{+})<3.2×10^{-10}. These results improve by 1 order of magnitude over previous results for these decay modes.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Treatment of moderate-to-severe atopic dermatitis (AD) in the elderly may be challenging, due to side-effects of traditional anti-inflammatory drugs and to comorbidities often found in this age group. Furthermore, efficacy and safety of innovative drugs such as dupilumab are not yet well known. OBJECTIVES A multicentre retrospective, observational, real-life study on the efficacy and safety of dupilumab was conducted in a group of patients aged ≥65 years and affected by severe AD. Their main clinical features were also examined. METHODS Data of elderly patients with severe (EASI ≥24) AD treated with dupilumab at label dosage for 16 weeks were retrospectively collected. Treatment outcome was assessed by comparing objective (EASI) and subjective (P-NRS, S-NRS and DLQI) scores at baseline and after 16 weeks of treatment. RESULTS Two hundred and seventy-six patients were enrolled in the study. They represented 11.37% of all patients with severe AD. Flexural eczema was the most frequent clinical phenotype, followed by prurigo nodularis. The coexistence of more than one phenotype was found in 63/276 (22.82%) subjects. Data on the 16-week treatment with dupilumab were available for 253 (91.67%) patients. Efficacy of dupilumab was demonstrated by a significant reduction of all the scores. No statistically significant difference regarding efficacy was found in elderly patients when compared to the group of our AD patients aged 18-64 years, treated with dupilumab over the same period. Furthermore, only 18 (6.52%) patients discontinued the drug due to inefficacy. Sixty-one (22.51%) patients reported adverse events, conjunctivitis and flushing being the most frequent. One (0.36%) patient only discontinued dupilumab due to an adverse event. CONCLUSIONS Therapy with dupilumab led to a significant improvement of AD over a 16-week treatment period, with a good safety profile. Therefore, dupilumab could be considered as an efficacious and safe treatment for AD also in the elderly.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Dupilumab has been demonstrated to be an effective treatment for patients with moderate-to-severe atopic dermatitis (AD) in clinical trials. However, evidence of real-world experience with dupilumab in a broader population is limited to date. METHODS Adult patients with moderate-to-severe AD, defined as an Eczema Area Severity Index (EASI) score of 24 or higher, treated with dupilumab at ten Italian academic centers, were included in the study. Physician-reported outcome measures (EASI), patient-reported outcome measures (pruritus and sleep score, Dermatology Life Quality Index, DLQI) and serological markers [immunoglobulin (Ig) E and eosinophil count] after 16 weeks were analyzed. RESULTS We enrolled 543 patients with moderate-to-severe AD. Two patients (0.4%) discontinued treatment. The median ± interquartile percentage change from baseline to 16 weeks of treatment in the EASI score was -87.5±22.0 (p<0.001). EASI-50, EASI-75 and EASI-90 response rates were 98.1%, 81.5%, and 50.8% after 16 weeks. At 16 weeks, 93.0% of the patients had achieved a 4- point or higher improvement in DLQI from baseline. During dupilumab treatment, 12.2% of the patients developed conjunctivitis, and total IgE significantly decreased (p<0.001). Interestingly, in the multivariate logistic regression model, the risk of developing dupilumab-related conjunctivitis was associated with early AD onset [OR, 2.25; 95%CI, 1.07-4.70; p=0.03] and presence of eosinophilia [OR, 1.91; 95%CI, 1.05-3.39; p=0.03]. CONCLUSION To date, this is the broadest real-life study in AD patients treated with dupilumab. We observed significant improvements induced by dupilumab in adult patients with moderate-to-severe AD, to a greater extent than those reported in clinical trials.

Abstract
INTRODUCTION Although the long term negative effects of bronchopulmonary dysplasia (BPD) are well known, follow-up studies of preterm infants with BPD into childhood are lacking. METHODS Forty-two preschool children (age range 3-6 years) who were born before 32 weeks of gestational age and affected by BPD were enrolled. Pre-, peri-, and post-natal data were collected. During the follow up appointment complete physical examination and lung function (impulse oscillometry (IOS)) were recorded. The European Community Respiratory Health Survey (ECRHS) questionnaire was administered to all enrolled subjects. RESULTS Thirty patients were included in the final analysis. The BPD group did not differ in comparison to the non-BPD group in terms of lung function (p > 0.05). By comparing all subjects enrolled, We detected extremely low-birth-weight (ELBW) infants with height-, weight-, and gender-related reference values and a significant trend of increasing resistance values (R5Hz, R5-20 Hz) and respiratory impedance (Z5Hz) (p < 0.05). No significant difference in bronchial reversibility test was observed among BPD non-BPD groups (p < 0.05). The frequency of gastroesophageal reflux disease was significantly higher in patients with BPD when compared to non-BPD group (p < 0.05). Significant differences in gestational age, oxygen supplementation (days), mechanical ventilation therapy (days), and sepsis between BPD and non-BPD groups were also observed (p < 0.05). There were no significant differences in the prevalence of family and personal history of atopy and/or allergic diseases, tobacco exposure, respiratory symptoms, respiratory syncytial virus bronchiolitis, exercise induced dyspnea, treatment with ß-2 bronchodilators and inhaled corticosteroids among the groups (p > 0.05). CONCLUSIONS The respiratory function in preschool children born with ELBW is characterized by an increase in impedance and resistance of small airways. No statistically significant differences were found between ELBW children with BPD and without BPD. With regards to the smallest gestational age, the longer duration of O2 therapy during hospitalization, and sepsis significantly resulted in a worse respiratory function.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Sex and gender may affect disease prevalence, adverse effects and response to therapy. AIM To analyse sex and gender differences in outpatients with psoriasis. METHODS A cross-sectional study was conducted at IDI-IRCCS, Rome, over a 3-year period. In total, 3023 patients with psoriasis were enrolled. Anthropometric and demographic characteristics were recorded, and a dermatologist evaluated the clinical severity of disease. Quality of life (QoL) questionnaires were collected. Univariate and multivariate analyses were performed to examine factors associated with sex. RESULTS We found sex- and gender-associated differences in clinical characteristics, disease severity, psychological distress and quality of life. Male sex was associated with body mass index, smoking, alcohol consumption, Psoriasis Area Severity Index ≥ 10 and age at onset ≥ 20 years. Female sex was associated with family history of diabetes, joint involvement, clinical type other than diffuse plaque psoriasis, higher psychological distress and a greater effect on QoL. CONCLUSION Our study identified sex and gender differences of potential clinical relevance in psoriasis.

Abstract
Psoriasis is a chronic inflammatory skin disease associated with reactive oxygen species (ROS) increase and a higher risk of cardiovascular (CV) events. We previously showed that the miR-200 family (miR-200s) is induced by ROS, miR-200c being the most upregulated member responsible for apoptosis, senescence, ROS increase, and nitric oxide decrease, finally causing endothelial dysfunction. Moreover, circulating miR-200c increases in familial hypercholesterolemic children and in plaques and plasma of atherosclerotic patients, two pathologies associated with increased ROS. Given miR-200s' role in endothelial dysfunction, ROS, and inflammation, we hypothesized that miR-200s were modulated in lesional skin (LS) and plasma of psoriatic patients (Pso) and that their levels correlated with some CV risk determinants at a subclinical level. All Pso had severe psoriasis, i.e., Psoriasis Area and Severity Index (PASI) > 10, and one of the following: at least two systemic psoriasis treatments, age at onset < 40 years, and disease duration > 10 years. RNA was extracted from plasma (Pso, N = 29; Ctrl, N = 29) and from nonlesional skin (NLS) and LS of 6 Pso and 6 healthy subject skin (HS) biopsies. miR-200 levels were assayed by quantitative RT-PCR. We found that all miR-200s were increased in LS vs. NLS and miR-200c was the most expressed and upregulated in LS vs. HS. In addition, circulating miR-200c and miR-200a were upregulated in Pso vs. Ctrl. Further, miR-200c positively correlated with PASI, disease duration, left ventricular (LV) mass, LV relative wall thickness (RWT), and E/e', a marker of diastolic dysfunction. Multiple regression analysis indicates a direct association between miR-200c and both RWT and LV mass. Circulating miR-200a correlated positively only with LV mass and arterial pressure augmentation index, a measure of stiffness, although the correlations were nearly significant (P = 0.06). In conclusion, miR-200c is upregulated in LS and plasma of Pso, suggesting its role in ROS increase and inflammation associated with CV risk in psoriasis.

Abstract
Abstract
Background
Psoriasis is a common, chronic inflammatory disease involving skin. Psoriatic patients mostly show the plaque-type clinical form and several comorbidities, including cardiovascular (CV) diseases. We previously showed that miR-200 family members (miR-200s) is induced by reactive oxygen species (ROS). miR-200c is the most up-regulated member and is responsible for apoptosis, senescence, endothelial dysfunction, ROS increase and nitric oxide decrease. Circulating miR-200c is upregulated in Familial Hypercholesterolemia in children, a pathology associated with ROS increase and atherosclerosis. miR-200c increases also in carotid plaques and plasma of atherosclerotic pts vs healthy subjects and positively correlates with plaque instability biomarkers.
Purpose
Given the role of miR-200s in ROS modulation, endothelial dysfunction, cardiac remodelling and inflammation, all features associated with psoriasis, we wondered whether miR-200s were modulated in lesional skin (LS) and plasma of psoriatic patients (Pso) and whether miR-200 levels correlated with CV risk.
Methods
29 Pso were compared to 29 control subjects (Ctrl) age- and sex-matched. All Pso had a severe psoriasis, defined as Psoriasis Area and Severity Index (PASI) >10 and one of the following: at least two systemic psoriasis treatments, psoriasis onset <40 years of age, disease duration >10 years. Exclusion criteria were: diabetes, cerebrovascular events, myocardial infarction, and/or myocardial revascularization, psoriatic arthritis. Total RNA was extracted from plasma and miR-200 levels assayed by quantitative real-time PCR. The clinical parameters were similar between the two groups except for Total Cholesterol (mg/dl) (Ctrl 193.3±6.2; Pso 213.2±6.9; P<0.05). Blood pressure measurement, wave reflection analysis and pulse wave velocity (PWV) were similar between groups, echocardiographic parameters were different for left ventricular (LV) mass index (g/m2) (Ctrl 84.2±5.2; Pso 102.5±4.7; P<0.05) and relative wall thickness (RWT) (Ctrl 0.4±0.0; Pso 0.48±0.0; P<0.01). Total RNA was extracted from biopsies of nonlesional (NLS) and LS of 6 Pso and 6 healthy subject skin (HS).
Results
miR-200s were increased in LS vs NLS samples. miR-200c was the most expressed and was upregulated also in LS vs HS (2.0+0.2 fold-increase; P<0.01). Circulating miR-200c (2.5+0.5 fold-increase; P<0.05) and miR-200a (4.8+0.7 fold; P<0.0001) were up-regulated in Pso vs Ctr. Circulating miR-200c positively correlated with LV mass (Rs=0.32; P<0.05), RWT (Rs=0.32; P<0.05) and diastolic dysfunction assessed with E/e' parameters (Rs=0.34; P<0.05). Circulating miR-200a correlated only with LV mass, although not significantly (Rs=0.30; P=0.06). miR-200c exhibited a significant positive correlation with PASI (Rs=0.43; P<0.05) and with disease duration of (Rs=0.40; P<0.05). Conclusion miR-200c is upregulated in skin plaques and plasma of Pso, and might be involved in inflammatory and CV risk increase in these patients.

Abstract
Abstract: NUT midline carcinoma (NMC) is a rare and aggressive subtype of squamous carcinoma that typically arises from midline supradiaphragmatic structures, frequently from the head and neck area. NMC is genetically driven by a chromosomal rearrangement involving the NUT gene, which forms oncoproteins considered major pathogenic drivers of cellular transformation. Diagnosis of NMC has been made remarkably easier with the availability of a commercial antibody against NUT, and can be established through positive nuclear immunohistochemical staining. Although NMC remains an underrecognized malignancy, in recent years there has appeared to be increasing awareness of disease and frequency of diagnosis in adults. To date, a standard treatment for head and neck NMC has not been established and a multimodal approach with systemic chemotherapy, surgery and radiation therapy is currently adopted in clinical practice. Recently, BET inhibitors and histone deacetylase inhibitors have emerged as two promising classes of targeted agents, currently investigated in clinical trials for adults with head and neck NMC. At the same time, combination approaches and novel targeted agents, such as next-generation BET inhibitors and CDK9 inhibitors, have shown preclinical activity. The present review explores the clinical pathological characteristics of NMC of the head and neck and presents the current state of the art on diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment of this rare but lethal disease.

Abstract
The clinical characteristics associated with hidradenitis suppurativa (HS) severity are poorly understood. In this study, 124 patients with HS from 6 Italian dermatology centres participated in this study. Disease severity was assessed using the Hidradenitis Suppurativa Physician's Global Assessment score (HS-PGA) and Hurley score. The impact of clinical characteristics on disease severity was assessed by logistic regression. Clinical characteristics were similar between men (n = 53) and women (n = 71). Disease severity was also similar; 75% of the patients had Hurley stage II or III disease, and > 60% had moderate, severe or very severe HS as judged by HS-PGA. Lesions were more frequent in the gluteal region in men (32.3% in men vs. 8.7% in women, P < 0.001) and more frequent on the breast in women (16.3% in women vs. 4.6% in men, P = 0.02). Obesity was associated with increased disease severity as measured by HS-PGA (OR: 3.28, 95% CI 1.55-6.95, P < 0.01) and Hurley classification (OR: 3.22, 95% CI 1.34-7.31, P < 0.01). Although severity of HS is similar between the sexes, the localization of lesions is different.

Abstract
In this paper we present new results on upper limits for the search of Heavy Neutral Leptons (HNL) with data collected by NA48/2 (2003-2004), NA62-RK (2007) and NA62 (2015) CERN experiments. The data collected with different trigger configuration allow to search for both long and short living heavy neutrinos in the mass range below the kaon mass. In addition the status of the search for K+ → π+vv with the NA62 detector will be briefly presented.

Abstract
AIM There is a paucity of data on the clinical presentation and management of cancer patients with acquired haemophilia (AH), we here report a systematic literature review on acquired haemophilia in the context of cancer. METHODS Treatment outcomes of AH were defined as complete response (CR), partial response (PR) or no response (NR), based on inhibitor eradication, coagulation factor VIII levels and bleeding control. Reported deaths were either related to cancer or bleeding. RESULTS Overall, 105 cases were collected and analyzed according to classification of cancer and efficacy of treatments for inhibitor and malignancy. The mean age was 68 years for both males (range 37-86 years) and females (range 43-89 years), 39 patients were female subjects and 66 were males. A solid cancer was diagnosed in 60 subjects, while 45 patients suffered a haematological malignancy. Solid cancers affected mainly males; however, the incidence of solid tumours vs haematological malignancies was not statistically significant (P = .09). Not all patients were treated for their underlying cancer, bleeding and/or inhibitor, in two cases outcome is unavailable. CR was reported in 62.1% (64/103) cases, PR in 9.7% (10/103) cases, NR with or without death was reported in 28.1% (29/103) cases. CONCLUSION CR was best achieved when successful and complete elimination of autoantibodies occurred contemporaneously with the successful treatment of the underlying malignancy. In some cases, recurrent autoantibodies were harbingers of relapsed cancer. Type of cancer, inhibitor titer, treatments administered for bleeding control and inhibitor eradication did not significantly affect clinical outcome of analyzed cases.

Abstract
Essentials Isolated distal deep vein thrombosis (IDDVT) is frequently associated with cancer. No study has specifically evaluated the long-term clinical course of cancer-associated IDDVT. Patients with cancer-associated IDDVT are at very high risk of symptomatic recurrence and death. We observed low rates of major bleeding during anticoagulation. SUMMARY Background Although isolated distal deep vein thrombosis (IDDVT) is frequently associated with cancer, no study has specifically evaluated the long-term clinical course of IDDVT in this setting. Aim To provide data on the rate of recurrent venous thromboembolism (VTE), major bleeding events and death in IDDVT patients with active cancer. Patients and Methods Consecutive patients with active cancer and an objective IDDVT diagnosis (January 2011 to September 2014) were included from our files. We collected information on baseline characteristics, IDDVT location and extension, VTE risk factors, and type and duration of anticoagulant treatment. Results A total of 308 patients (mean age 66.2 [standard deviation (SD), 13.2 years]; 57.1% female) with symptomatic IDDVT and a solid (n = 261) or hematologic (n = 47) cancer were included at 13 centers. Cancer was metastatic in 148 (48.1%) patients. All but three (99.0%) patients received anticoagulant therapy, which consisted of low-molecular-weight heparin in 288 (93.5%) patients. Vitamin K antagonists were used for the long-term treatment in 46 (14.9%) patients, whereas all others continued the initial parenteral agent for a mean treatment duration of 4.2 months (SD, 4.6 months). During a total follow-up of 355.8 patient-years (mean, 13.9 months), there were 47 recurrent objectively diagnosed VTEs for an incidence rate of 13.2 events per 100 patient-years. During anticoagulant treatment, the annual incidence of major bleeding was 2.0 per 100 patient-years. Conclusions Cancer patients with IDDVT have a high risk of VTE recurrence. Additional studies are warranted to investigate the optimal intensity and duration of anticoagulant treatment for these patients.
