Abstract
BACKGROUND Psoriasis is an inflammatory skin disease. The pathogenesis of psoriasis has not been fully elucidated. T-lymphokine-activated killer cell-originated protein kinase (TOPK) activity increases in a proinflammatory environment, and inhibiting TOPK blocks inflammation. However, whether TOPK is involved in the pathogenesis of psoriasis remains to be identified. OBJECTIVES We aimed to study the role of TOPK in psoriasis and attempted to find a drug targeting TOPK for the prevention and treatment of psoriasis. METHOD Firstly, the expressions of TOPK in psoriatic patients, psoriatic cell and animal model were analysed by Gene Expression Omnibus database, immunohistochemistry (IHC) staining and western blot (WB). After inhibiting TOPK by chemical or gene knockout, the effect of TOPK on the development of psoriasis was verified in cell and animal model by WB, qRT-PCR, ELISA, haematoxylin-eosin (H&E) and IHC staining. Moreover, phosphoproteomic analysis was performed to explore the signalling pathways regulated by TOPK in the occurrence and development of psoriasis. Then, an in vitro kinase assay was performed to prove TOPK kinase activity was inhibited by worenine. Ultimately, WB, qRT-PCR, ELISA, H&E and IHC staining were used to verify the anti-psoriasis effect of worenine by inhibiting TOPK was in cell and animal model. RESULTS In this study, we found that TOPK was highly expressed in psoriasis patients, psoriatic cell and animal model, which suggests that TOPK might be associated with psoriasis pathogenesis. Interestingly, chemical or genetic inhibition of TOPK alleviated M5- and imiquimod (IMQ)-induced psoriasis-like dermatitis, which further confirmed the role of TOPK in promoting the development of psoriasis. Moreover, we determined that worenine inhibited TOPK kinase activity. In addition, worenine relieved M5- and IMQ-induced psoriasiform dermatitis by inhibiting TOPK activity. CONCLUSIONS T-lymphokine-activated killer cell-originated protein kinase promotes the development of psoriasis. Therefore, TOPK might be a promising drug target for the prevention and treatment of psoriasis. Worenine alleviates psoriasiform dermatitis by inhibiting TOPK activity, providing new strategies for clinical intervention.

Abstract
Highly aggressive gastric cancer (HAGC) is a gastric cancer characterized by bone marrow metastasis and disseminated intravascular coagulation (DIC). Information about the disease is limited. Here we employed single-cell RNA sequencing to investigate peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs), aiming to unravel the immune response of patients toward HAGC. PBMCs from seven HAGC patients, six normal advanced gastric cancer (NAGC) patients, and five healthy individuals were analysed by single-cell RNA sequencing. The expression of genes of interest was validated by bulk RNA-sequencing and ELISA. We found a massive expansion of neutrophils in PBMCs of HAGC. These neutrophils are activated, but immature. Besides, mononuclear phagocytes exhibited an M2-like signature and T cells were suppressed and reduced in number. Analysis of cell-cell crosstalk revealed that several signalling pathways involved in neutrophil to T-cell suppression including APP-CD74, MIF-(CD74+CXCR2), and MIF-(CD74+CD44) pathways were increased in HAGC. NETosis-associated genes S100A8 and S100A9 as well as VEGF, PDGF, FGF, and NOTCH signalling that contribute to DIC development were upregulated in HAGC too. This study reveals significant changes in the distribution and interactions of the PBMC subsets and provides valuable insight into the immune response in patients with HAGC. S100A8 and S100A9 are highly expressed in HAGC neutrophils, suggesting their potential to be used as novel diagnostic and therapeutic targets for HAGC.

Abstract
The nuclear factor-κB (NF-κB) family, consisting of several transcription factors, has been implicated in the regulation of cell proliferation and invasion, as well as inflammatory reactions and tumor development. Cervical cancer (CC) results from long-term interactions of multiple factors, among which persistent high-risk human papillomavirus (hrHPV) infection is necessary. During different stages from early to late after HPV infection, the activity of NF-κB varies and plays various roles in carcinogenesis and progress of CC. As the center of the cell signaling transduction network, NF-κB can be activated through classical and non-classical pathways, and regulate the expression of downstream target genes involved in regulating the tumor microenvironment and acquiring hallmark traits of CC cells. Targeting NF-κB may help treat CC and overcome the resistance to radiation and chemotherapy. Even though NF-κB inhibitors have not been applied in clinical treatment as yet, due to limitations such as dose-restrictive toxicity and poor tumor-specificity, it is still considered to have significant therapeutic potential and application prospects. In this review, we focus on the role of NF-κB in the process of CC occurrence and hallmark capabilities acquisition. Finally, we summarize relevant NF-κB-targeted treatments, providing ideas for the prevention and treatment of CC.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE To analyze the main influencing factors of ASD (Acute Stress Disorder) in inpatients, and provide some evidence for early clinical identification and intervention of ASD. METHODS In this study, 489 inpatients were selected from 3 general hospitals in Zunyi City from September 2020 to August 2021. The patients were followed up with questionnaires. Mann Whitney U test, Logistic Regression analysis and Generalized Estimation Equation were used for difference comparison and influencing factor analyses. RESULTS Multivariate logistic regression showed that trauma exposure, psychological burden, fear and pain degree were risk factors of ASD in all inpatients. The sensitivity and specificity of combined using of "trauma, psychological burden, fear and pain" in predicting ASD reached 89.40 % and 79.20 %, respectively; and the area under ROC could reach 0.897. CONCLUSION Based on the different risk factors, an early effective model could be built for ASD prediction in both traumatic and nontraumatic patients.

Abstract
BACKGROUND AND AIMS Sleep-disordered breathing (SDB) and nocturnal hypoxemia were known to be present in patients with chronic thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension (CTEPH), but the difference between SDB and nocturnal hypoxemia in patients who have chronic thromboembolic pulmonary disease (CTEPD) with or without pulmonary hypertension (PH) at rest remains unknown. METHODS Patients who had CTEPH (n = 80) or CTEPD without PH (n = 40) and who had undergone sleep studies from July 2020 to October 2022 at Shanghai Pulmonary Hospital were enrolled. Nocturnal mean SpO2 (Mean SpO2) <90% was defined as nocturnal hypoxemia, and the percentage of time with a saturation below 90% (T90%) exceeding 10% was used to evaluate the severity of nocturnal hypoxemia. Logistic and linear regression analyses were performed to investigate the difference and potential predictor of SDB or nocturnal hypoxemia between CTEPH and CTEPD without PH. RESULTS SDB was similarly prevalent in CTEPH and CTEPD without PH (P = 0.104), both characterised by obstructive sleep apnoea (OSA). Twenty-two patients with CTEPH were diagnosed with nocturnal hypoxemia, whereas only three were diagnosed with CTEPD without PH (P = 0.021). T90% was positively associated with mean pulmonary arterial pressure (mPAP) and pulmonary vascular resistance in patients with CTEPH and CTEPD without PH (P < 0.001); T90% was also negatively related to cardiac output in these patients. Single-breath carbon monoxide diffusing capacity, sex and mPAP were all correlated with nocturnal hypoxemia in CTEPH and CTEPD without PH (all P < 0.05). CONCLUSION Nocturnal hypoxemia was worse in CTEPD with PH; T90%, but not SDB, was independently correlated with the hemodynamics in CTEPD with or without PH.

Effectiveness of enterovirus A71 vaccine against pediatric HFMD and disease profile of post-vaccination infection. Vaccine 2024; 42:2317-2325. Abstract
BACKGROUND Vaccination has been proven effective against infection with enterovirus A71 (EV-A71) in clinical trials, but vaccine effectiveness in real-world situations remains incompletely understood. Furthermore, it is not clear whether previous vaccination will result in symptom attenuation among post-vaccinated cases. METHODS Based on long-term data extracted from the only designed referral hospital for infectious diseases, we used a test-negative case-control design and multivariate logistic regression models to analyze the effectiveness of EV-A71 vaccine against hand, foot and mouth disease (HFMD). And then, generalized linear regression models were used to evaluate the associations between prior vaccination and disease profiles. RESULTS We selected 4883 inpatients for vaccine efficacy estimations and 2188 inpatients for disease profile comparisons. Vaccine effectiveness against EV-A71-induced HFMD for complete vaccination was 63.4 % and 51.7 % for partial vaccination. The vaccine effectiveness was higher among cases received the first dose within 12 months. No protection was observed against coxsackievirus (CV) A6-, CV-A10- or CV-A16-associated HFMD among children regardless of vaccination status. Completely vaccinated cases had shorter hospital stay and disease course compared to unvaccinated cases (P < 0.05). CONCLUSIONS These findings reiterate the need to continue the development of a multivalent vaccine or combined vaccines, and have implications for introducing optimized vaccination strategies.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE To assess the effectiveness and safety of ear moulds for congenital auricle deformities. METHODS Databases including Medline, EMBASE, Cochrane Library, Chinese BioMedical Literature Database (CBM) and Web of Science were systematically reviewed. Randomised controlled trials (RCT), non-randomised control trials (non-RCT), quasi-randomised control trials (quasi-RCT) and self-controlled before-after trials were also included. Data extraction was independently conducted by two authors. The Risk Of Bias In Non-randomised Studies of Interventions (ROBIN-I) was used to evaluate the risk bias. Heterogeneity was assessed using I2 and chi-square tests. Effective rate, adverse reaction rate and their 95%CI were calculated. Funnel plots, Begg's test as well as sensitivity and subgroup analyses were performed. RESULTS The analysis encompassed ten studies, comprising one RCT and nine self-controlled before-after trials, involving 1860 ears (1248 children). The pooled effective rate and adverse reaction rate of ear mould were 91% (95% CI: 0.87-0.94) and 9% (95%CI: 0.02-0.17), respectively. No serious adverse reactions were reported. The effective rate of ear mould intervention showed no significant difference between age at correction≤42 days group (90%, 95%CI: 0.85-0.94) and that >42 days group (93%, 95%CI: 0.83-0.99). Similarly, there was no statistical difference in the correction efficiency between duration of wearing ear mould≤30 days group (90%, 95%CI: 0.85-0.94) and that >30 days group (92%, 95%CI: 0.86-0.96). The effective rate for correcting cryptotia ear (98%, P < 0.001), cup ear (93%, P = 0.004) and prominent ear (90%, P = 0.014) was higher than that of helical rim deformity (66%). CONCLUSIONS In the short term, the use of ear moulds is effective and safe in correcting congenital auricle deformities. Notably, the correction efficacy for cryptotia, cup ear and prominent ear deformities surpasses that of helical rim deformities. However, further research is required to ascertain the impact of the duration of wearing on the correction of congenital auricle deformities.

Abstract
AIMS There is limited research on the relationship between food insecurity and mortality among individuals with diabetes. This study aims to investigate the impact of food insecurity on all-cause and cause-specific mortality in adults with diabetes. RESEARCH DESIGN AND METHODS This study included 5749 adults with diabetes from the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey cycles 2003-2018 and followed up until 31 December 2019. Food insecurity was measured by the Food Security Survey Module. Cox proportional hazard models were employed to estimate hazard ratios (HRs) and 95% confidence intervals for both all-cause mortality and cause-specific mortality. RESULTS The weighted prevalence of full food security, marginal food security, low food security, and very low food security was 70.8%, 11.0%, 10.4%, and 7.8%, respectively. Food insecurity demonstrated a significant correlation with diminished diet quality and reduced consumption of healthy foods. Over the course of 42,272.0 person-years of follow-up, we documented 1091 deaths, of which 370 were attributed to cardiovascular disease and 180 to cancer. After adjusting for multiple variables, food insecurity scores were significantly and linearly associated with increased all-cause mortality. Comparing to full food security, participants experiencing very low food security had a multivariate-adjusted HR of 1.48 (1.12, 1.95) for all-cause mortality (ptrend = 0.010). CONCLUSIONS Food insecurity was associated with increased all-cause mortality and compromised diet quality, especially in individuals experiencing very low food security. Future strategies may necessitate the monitoring of and interventions for food insecurity among individuals with diabetes.

Abstract
Objective: To explore the efficacy and safety of Rivaroxaban in preventing catheter related thrombosis (CRT) in patients with breast cancer who are undergoing central venous catheter chemotherapy, and provide basis for making standardized prevention and treatment strategies. Methods: In this research, a prospective cohort study was adopted, and breast cancer patients who received central venous catheter chemotherapy in Sanhuan Cancer Hospital during September 2020 to March 2022 were selected as a treatment group to take the rivaroxaban anticoagulation therapy with 10 mg.po.qd for one month. The control group got no preventive anticoagulation therapy. Vascular ultrasound examination was taken to confirm the occurrence of CRT, and a chi-square test was done for comparison the disparity between the groups. Logistic regression was applied to analyze the univariate and multivariate factors for the formation of CRT. Results: In the research, a total of 235 patients were selected, and there were a total of 19 035 days of catheterization with 81 days of catheterization on average. While in the control group, the incidence of CRT was 28.0% (33/118), the incidence of CRT in the treatment group was 20.5% (24/117), the difference was no significant (P=0.183). Subgroup analysis results showed that the peripherally inserted central catheter (PICC) was performed in 165 cases with the CRT incidence of 18.2% (30/165) and thrombosis was mostly seen around axillary vein, accounting for 63.3%. Subclavian vein catheterization was performed in 63 cases with the CRT incidence of 39.7% (25/63), and thrombosis was mostly seen around subclavian vein, accounting for 88.0% (22/25). Implantable venous access port was implanted in 7 cases around subclavian vein and internal jugular vein with the CRT incidence of 28.6% (2/7). The patients who developed CRT within 30 days after catheterization accounted for 54.4% (31/57), 22.8% (13/57) in a period during 30 days and 60 days) and 22.8% (13/57) in a period during 60 days and 180 days). The diagnosed CRT patients had been treated with rivaroxaban 15 mg.bid.po for 3 months. During the 3 months, 100.0% of the thrombosis waned, 71.9% (41/57) of the thrombosis waned within 30 days, 19.3% (11/57) in a period during 30 and 60days and 8.8% (5/57) in a period during 60 days and 90 days. Univariate and multivariate analysis indicated that the risk of CRT in subclavian vein catheterization was higher than that in PICC, respectively (OR=2.898, 95% CI:1.386-6.056 P=0.005), and the type of catheterization was an independent factor for the formation of thrombosis. Safety analysis result showed that in the prevention of CRT, rivaroxaban treatment did not induce drug-related bleeding, liver function damage, bone marrow suppression or any other side effects. While CRT diagnosed patients were treated with anticoagulation, they kept the central venous catheter, and the infusion was smooth. These patients all finished the anti-tumor treatment as planned, and no abnormalities like new thrombosis or pulmonary embolism were observed. Conclusions: In the mid-term analysis, the proportion of Rivaroxaban in preventing anticoagulant CRT decreases, but it don't reach statistical significance. The sample size should be further increased for observation. Rivaroxaban is proved effective and very safe in the treatment of CRT, and does not affect the concurrent chemotherapy. Medical personnel should carry out the policy of "early prevention, early detection and early treatment" for CRT so as to improve the patients' quality of life.

Abstract
Objective: This study collected a real-world data on survival and efficacy of gemcitabine-containing therapy in advanced breast cancer. Aimed to find the main reasons of affecting the duration of gemcitabine-base therapy in advanced breast cancer patients. Methods: Advanced breast cancer patients who received gemcitabine-base therapy from January 2017 to January 2019 were enrolled(10 hospitals). The clinicopathological data, the number of chemotherapy cycles and the reasons for treatment termination were collected and analyzed. To identify the reasons related with continuous treatment for advanced breast cancer and the factors which affect the survival and efficacy. Results: A total of 224 patients with advanced breast cancer were enrolled in this study, with a median age of 52 years (26-77 years), 55.4%(124/224) was postmenopausal. Luminal type were 83 cases, TNBC were 97 cases, and human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER's-2) overexpression were 44. At the analysis, 224 patients who received the gemcitabine-based regimens were evaluated, included 5 complete reponse (CR), 77 partial response (PR), 112 stable disease (SD) and 27 progressive disease (PD). The objective response rate (ORR) was 36.6%(82/224). Seventy patients had serious adverse diseases, including leukopenia (9), neutrophilia (49), thrombocytopenia (15), and elevated transaminase (2). The median follow-up time was 41 months (26~61 months), and the median PFS was 5.6 months. The reasons of termination treatment were listed: disease progression were 90 patients; personal reasons were 51 patients; adverse drug reactions were 18 patients; completed treatment were 65 patients. It was found that progression-free survival (PFS) was significantly longer in patients receiving >6 cycles than that in patients with ≤6 cycles (8.2 months vs 5.4 months, HR=2.474, 95% CI: 1.730-3.538, P<0.001). Conclusions: Gemcitabine-based regimen is generally well tolerated in the Chinese population and has relatively ideal clinical efficacy in the real world. The median PFS is significantly prolonged when the number of treatment cycles are appropriately increased.

Abstract
Antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs) are drugs that combine monoclonal antibody drugs targeting specific antigens and small molecule cytotoxic drugs through linker molecules. ADCs combine the advantages of high specificity targeting and potent killing effects, achieving precise and efficient targeting of cancer cells. Nowadays, ADCs are one of the hotspots in cancer drug development. Human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER-2) is a known oncogene that can drive the occurrence and development of various types of tumors. HER-2 is also an important tumor target for ADCs approved for solid tumors. Anti-HER-2 ADCs can not only be used to treat HER-2-positive tumors but also effectively target HER-2-low tumors. The emergence of ADCs has broken the traditional classification of HER-2 in tumors, bringing significant treatment breakthroughs for HER-2-low tumors. Anti-HER-2 ADCs are widely used in the treatment of solid tumors and have substantial evidence for HER-2-low tumors. This article presents the progress of various anti-HER-2 ADCs in HER-2-low tumors including breast cancer, gastrointestinal malignancies, urothelial carcinoma, lung cancer. And this article summarizes the current status of preclinical studies, clinical studies, and safety of anti-HER-2 ADCs in order to provide reference for the clinical use of HER-2-low tumors.

Abstract
BACKGROUND To analyze vault effects of crystalline lens rise (CLR) and anterior chamber parameters (recorded by Pentacam) in highly myopic patients receiving implantable collamer lenses (ICLs), which may avoid subsequent complications such as glaucoma and cataract caused by the abnormal vault. METHODS We collected clinical data of 137 patients with highly myopic vision, who were all subsequent recipients of V4c ICLs between June 2020 and January 2021. Horizontal ciliary sulcus-to-sulcus diameter (hSTS) and CLR were measured by ultrasonic biomicroscopy (UBM), and a Pentacam anterior segment analyzer was used to measure horizontal white-to-white diameter (hWTW), anterior chamber depth (ACD), anterior chamber angle (ACA), anterior chamber volume (ACV), CLR, and postoperative vault (Year 1 and Month 1). The lens thickness (LT) was determined by optical biometry (IOL Master instrument). The predictive model was generated through multiple linear regression analyses of influential factors, such as hSTS, CLR, hWTW, ACD, ACA, ACV, ICL size, and LT. The predictive performance of the multivariate model on vault after ICL was assessed using the receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve with area under the curve (AUC) as well as the point of tangency. RESULTS Average CLR assessed by UBM was lower than the average value obtained by Pentacam (0.561 vs. 0.683). Bland-Altman analysis showed a good consistency in the two measurement methods and substantial correlation (r = 0.316; P = 0.000). The ROC curve of Model 1 (postoperative Year 1) displayed an AUC of 0.847 (95% confidence interval [CI]: 74.19-95.27), with optimal threshold of 0.581 (sensitivity, 0.857; specificity, 0.724). In addition, respective values for Model 2 (postoperative Month 1) were 0.783 (95% CI: 64.94-91.64) and 0.522 (sensitivity, 0.917; specificity, 0.605). CONCLUSION CLR and anterior chamber parameters are important determinants of postoperative vault after ICL placement. The multivariate regression model we constructed may serve in large part as a predictive gauge, effectively avoid postoperative complication.

Abstract
In this work, the effect of the addition of γ-polyglutamic acid (γ-PGA) on the rheology, physicochemical properties, and microstructure of fish gelatin (FG) emulsion gel was investigated. Samples of the emulsion gel were evaluated for rheological behavior and stability prior to gelation. The mechanical properties and water-holding capacity (WHC) of the emulsion were determined after gelation. The microstructure of the emulsion gel was further examined using confocal laser scanning microscopy (CLSM). The results indicated a gradual increase in the apparent viscosity and gelation temperature of the emulsion at a higher concentration of γ-PGA. Additionally, frequency scan results revealed that on the addition of γ-PGA, FG emulsion exhibited a stronger structure. The emulsion containing 0.1% γ-PGA exhibited higher stability than that of the control samples. The WHC and gel strength of the emulsion gel increased on increasing the γ-PGA concentration. CLSM images showed that the addition of γ-PGA modified the structure of the emulsion gel, and the droplets containing 0.1% γ-PGA were evenly distributed. Moreover, γ-PGA could regulate the droplet size of the FG emulsion and its size distribution. These findings suggest that the viscoelasticity and structure of FG emulsion gels could be regulated by adjusting the γ-PGA concentration. The γ-PGA-modified FG emulsion gel also exhibited improved rheology and physicochemical properties. The results showed that γ-PGA-modified FG emulsion gel may find potential applications in food, medicine, cosmetics, and other industries.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Circular RNAs can serve as regulators influencing the development of pulmonary hypertension (PH). However, their function in pulmonary vascular intimal injury remains undefined. Thus, we aimed to identify specifically expressed circular RNAs in pulmonary microvascular endothelial cells (PMECs) under hypoxia and PH. METHODS AND RESULTS Deep RNA sequencing and quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction revealed that circALMS1 (circular RNA Alstrom syndrome protein 1) was reduced in human PMECs under hypoxia (P<0.0001). Molecular biology and histopathology experiments were used to elucidate the roles of circALMS1 in regulating PMEC dysfunction among patients with PH. The circALMS1 expression was decreased in the plasma of patients with PH (P=0.0315). Patients with lower circALMS1 levels had higher risk of death (P=0.0006). Moreover, the circALMS1 overexpression of adeno-associated viruses improved right ventricular function and reduced pulmonary vascular remodeling in monocrotaline-PH and sugen/hypoxia-PH rats (P<0.05). Furthermore, circALMS1 overexpression promoted apoptosis and inhibited PMEC proliferation and migration under hypoxia by directly downregulating miR-17-3p (P<0.05). Dual luciferase assay confirmed the direct binding of circALMS1 to miR-17-3p and miR-17-3p binding to its target gene YT521-B homology domain-containing family protein 2 (YTHDF2) (P<0.05). The YTHDF2 levels were also downregulated in hypoxic PMECs (P<0.01). The small interfering RNA YTHDF2 reversed the effects of miR-17-3p inhibitors on PMEC proliferation, migration, and apoptosis. Finally, the results indicated that, although YTHDF2, as an N(6)-methyladenosine reader protein, contributes to the degradation of many circular RNAs, it could not regulate the circALMS1 levels in PMECs (P=0.9721). CONCLUSIONS Our study sheds new light on circALMS1-regulated dysfunction of PMECs by the miR-17-3p/YTHDF2 pathway under hypoxia and provides insights into the underlying pathogenesis of PH.

Abstract
OBJECTIVES The study compared the outcomes between covered-stents grafting (CSG) and ligation of femoral artery (LFA) in the treatment of infected femoral pseudoaneurysm (IFP) caused by intravenous drug injection. METHODS From 1st January 2016 to 30th November 2021, the clinical data of patients with IFP caused by intravenous drug injection who underwent CSG (n = 31, 55.4%) and LFA (n = 25, 45.4%) are retrospectively analyzed. We compared the baseline characteristics and clinical outcomes of the two groups, including early and late mortality and morbidity. RESULTS A total of 56 patients were enrolled in the study, comprising 50 (89.3%) men and 6 (10.7%) women, with a mean age of 34.3 years. There was no significant difference observed between the two groups in terms of 30-day mortality (3.2% vs 0%, p = .365) and length of stay (9 [7, 12] vs 11 [8.5, 12.5] days, p = .236). However, group CSG exhibited a lower rate of intermittent claudication (0% vs 32%, p = .001), less blood loss (67.1 ± 22.5 mL vs 177.0 ± 59.8 mL, p < .001), and shorter surgery duration (57.5 ± 9.9 min vs 84.4 ± 22.8 min, p < .001) compared to group LFA. The LFA group were divided into subgroups according to the ligation site. The amputation rate of superficial femoral artery ligation group (0 vs 27.3%, p = .014) was significantly lower than common femoral artery ligation. CONCLUSIONS Covered-stents grafting may be a preferable treatment to LFA for IFP due to intravenous drug abuse, particularly when the entry tear is located in the common femoral artery.

Abstract
BACKGROUND To facilitate the identification of less common clinical phenotypes of myelin oligodendrocyte glycoprotein antibody-associated disease (MOGAD) in children. METHODS We retrospectively reviewed medical records of 236 patients with MOGAD. The following phenotypes were considered to be typical for MOGAD: ADEM, ON, TM, and NMOSD. Less common onset clinical phenotypes were screened out; their clinical and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), diagnosis, treatment, and prognosis were summarized and analyzed. RESULTS 16 cases (6.8%) presented as cortical encephalitis, with convulsions, headache, and fever as the main symptoms. 15 cases were misdiagnosed in the early period. 13 cases (5.5%) showed the overlapping syndrome of MOGAD and anti-N-methyl-D aspartate receptor encephalitis (MNOS), with seizures (92.3%) being the most common clinical symptom. 11 cases (84.6%) showed relapses. The cerebral leukodystrophy-like phenotype was present in seven cases (3.0%), with a recurrence rate of 50%. Isolated seizures without any findings on MRI phenotype was present in three cases (1.3%), with the only clinical symptom being seizures of focal origin. Three cases (1.3%) of aseptic meningitis phenotype presented with prolonged fever. CONCLUSION 40/236 (16.9%) of children with MOGAD had less common phenotypes. Less common clinical phenotypes of pediatric MOGAD are susceptible to misdiagnosis and deserve more attention. IMPACT This is the first comprehensive analysis and summary of all less commonl clinical phenotypes of MOGAD in children, while previous studies have only focused on a specific phenotype or case reports. We analyzed the characteristics of MOGAD in children and further revealed the reasons why these less common clinical phenotypes are prone to misdiagnosis and deserve more attention. Our research on treatment has shown that early detection of MOG antibodies and early treatment are of great significance for improving the prognosis of these patients.

Abstract
Tracheal stenosis is a rare but life-threatening disease in preterm infants. Misdiagnosis as congenital tracheal stenosis is common, making surgical management challenging. This report presents a case of a preterm infant with tracheal stenosis and congenital heart malformation treated with ECMO-assisted tracheal resection and end-to-end anastomosis. A male infant was born at 30 weeks of gestation with severe asphyxia, cardiac insufficiency, and pneumonia. Following failed medical treatment, fiberoptic bronchoscopy confirmed mid-tracheal to carinal stenosis. After a 2-week treatment course, ECMO-assisted tracheal resection and end-to-end anastomosis were performed successfully. This case confirms the feasibility of tracheal resection and end-to-end anastomosis in low-weight, preterm infants with tracheal stenosis born at 30 weeks gestation. The utilization of ECMO for oxygenation during surgery provides a clear surgical field and shorter operating time. Surgical intervention may be necessary for neonatal tracheal stenosis depending on the clinical presentation.

Abstract
Acute myocardial infarction (AMI), a critical manifestation of coronary heart disease, presents a complex and not entirely understood etiology. This study investigates the potential role of immune infiltration and endothelial-mesenchymal transition (EndoMT) in AMI pathogenesis. We conducted an analysis of the GSE24519 and MSigDB datasets to identify differentially expressed genes associated with the TGF-β signaling pathway (DE-TSRGs) and carried out a functional enrichment analysis. Additionally, we evaluated immune infiltration in AMI and its possible link to myocardial fibrosis. Key genes were identified using machine learning and LASSO logistic regression. The expression of MEOX1 in the ventricular muscles and endothelial cells of Sprague-Dawley rats was assessed through RT-qPCR, immunohistochemical and immunofluorescence assays, and the effect of MEOX1 overexpression on EndoMT was investigated. Our study identified five DE-TSRGs, among which MEOX1, SMURF1, and SPTBN1 exhibited the most significant associations with AMI. Notably, we detected substantial immune infiltration in AMI specimens, with a marked increase in neutrophils and macrophages. MEOX1 demonstrated consistent expression patterns in rat ventricular muscle tissue and endothelial cells, and its overexpression induced EndoMT. Our findings suggest that the TGF-β signaling pathway may contribute to AMI progression by activating the immune response. MEOX1, linked to the TGF-β signaling pathway, appears to facilitate myocardial fibrosis via EndoMT following AMI. These novel insights into the mechanisms of AMI pathogenesis could offer promising therapeutic targets for intervention.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Evidence from the Istanbul consensus workshop suggests correlations between morphological parameters and embryo developments. 8-cell embryos are the best blastomere stage on day 3. No good quality evidence exists to support high-quality embryonic selection following blastulation and clinical outcomes. This study aimed to investigate the factors that affect blastocyst formation, blastocyst quality, and clinical outcomes of high-quality cleavage-stage embryos in fresh cycles. METHODS This study was a retrospective analysis of 9608 high-quality cleavage-stage embryos from 2987 couples between January 2017 to June 2021, namely 1520 embryos categorized as "812" (8-cell, grade 2, mild fragmentation), 2961 as "821" (8-cell, grade 2, mild asymmetry), 896 as "711" (7-cell, grade 1), and 517 as "911" (9-cell, grade 1) compared with 3714 embryos categorized as "811" (8-cell, grade 1). The primary outcomes were clinical pregnancy rate (CPR) and live birth rate (LBR). Blastulation rate (BR), available late blastocyst rate (ABR) and high-quality late blastocyst rate (HBR) were secondary outcome measures. RESULTS BR, ABR, and HBR had significant differences among the five groups (P < 0.001), while CPR and LBR were also significantly different in cleavage-stage fresh transfer (P < 0.01). The multivariable multilevel logistic regression analysis revealed a significant association between cell number, cell size, blastocyst development and clinical outcomes. For 7 to 9-cell highest-quality embryo, mild fragmentation and more blastomeres were more conducive to blastocyst formation and clinical outcomes. While cleavage-stage embryos developed into blastocysts, the negative impact of their initial morphology on clinical outcomes would be erased. CONCLUSIONS Our study firstly evaluated blastocyst development and clinical outcomes of high-quality cleavage-stage embryos in fresh cycles, with rankings of 811, 812, 911, 821, and 711. We found the initial morphological characteristics of the high-quality cleavage-stage embryos did not adversely impact clinical outcomes, even as they progressed to the blastocyst stage.

Abstract
Conductive hydrogels, characterized by their excellent conductivity and flexibility, have attracted widespread attention and research in the field of flexible wearable sensors. This paper reviews the application progress, related challenges, and future prospects of conductive hydrogels in flexible wearable sensors. Initially, the basic properties and classifications of conductive hydrogels are introduced. Subsequently, this paper discusses in detail the specific applications of conductive hydrogels in different sensor applications, such as motion detection, medical diagnostics, electronic skin, and human-computer interactions. Finally, the application prospects and challenges are summarized. Overall, the exceptional performance and multifunctionality of conductive hydrogels make them one of the most important materials for future wearable technologies. However, further research and innovation are needed to overcome the challenges faced and to realize the wider application of conductive hydrogels in flexible sensors.

Abstract
The symptoms of children infected with SARS-CoV-2 are mainly asymptomatic, mild, moderate, and a few severe cases. To understand the immune response characteristics of children infected with SARS-COV-2 who do not develop severe cases, 82 children infected with the SARS-CoV-2 delta strain were recruited in this study. Our results showed that high levels of IgG, IgM, and neutralization antibodies appeared in children infected with SARS-CoV-2. SARS-CoV-2 induced upregulation of both pro-inflammatory factors including TNF-α and anti-inflammatory factors including IL-4 and IL-13 in the children, even IL-10. The expression of INF-α in infected children also showed a significant increase compared to healthy children. However, IL-6, one of the important inflammatory factors, did not show an increase in infected children. It is worth noting that a large number of chemokines reduced in the SARS-CoV-2-infected children. Subsequently, TCR Repertoire, TCRβ bias, and preferential usage were analyzed on data of TCR next-generation sequencing from 8 SARS-CoV-2-infected children and 8 healthy controls. We found a significant decrease in TCR clonal diversity and a significant increase in TCR clonal expansion in SARS-CoV-2-infected children compared to healthy children. The most frequent V and J genes in SARS-CoV-2 children were TRBV28 and TRBJ2-1. The most frequently VβJ gene pairing in SARS-CoV-2 infected children was TRBV20-1-TRBJ2-1. The strong antiviral antibody levels, low expression of key pro-inflammatory factors, significant elevation of anti-inflammatory factors, and downregulation of many chemokines jointly determine that SARS-CoV-2-infected children rarely develop severe cases. Overall, our findings shed a light on the immune response of non-severe children infected with SARS-CoV-2.

Abstract
High temperature is an environmental stressor that severely threatens plant growth, development, and yield. In this study, we obtained a kiwifruit mutant (MT) of 'Hongyang' (WT) through 60Co-γ irradiation. The MT possessed different leaf morphology and displayed prominently elevated heat tolerance compared to the WT genotype. When exposure to heat stress, the MT plants exhibited stabler photosynthetic capacity and accumulated less reactive oxygen species, along with enhanced antioxidant capacity and higher expression levels of related genes in comparison with the WT plants. Moreover, global transcriptome profiling indicated that an induction in genes related to stress-responsive, phytohormone signaling, and transcriptional regulatory pathways, which might contribute to the upgrade of thermotolerance in the MT genotype. Collectively, the significantly enhanced thermotolerance of MT might be mainly attributed to profitable leaf structure variations, improved photosynthetic and antioxidant capacities, as well as extensive transcriptome reprogram. These findings would be insightful in elucidating the sophisticated mechanisms of kiwifruit response to heat stress, and suggest the MT holds great potential for future kiwifruit improvement with enhanced heat tolerance.

Abstract
BACKGROUND The maintenance dosage of selexipag is categorized as low, medium or high. In order to assess the efficacy and safety of different dosages of selexipag for the risk stratification of pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH), we performed a systematic review and meta-analysis. METHODS Studies assessing PAH risk stratification indices, such as the World Health Organization functional class (WHO-FC), six-minute walk distance (6MWD), N-terminal pro-B-type natriuretic peptide (NT-proBNP) level, right atrial pressure (RAP), cardiac index (CI) and mixed venous oxygen saturation (SvO2), were included. RESULTS Thirteen studies were included. Selexipag led to improvements in the 6MWD (MD: 24.20 m, 95% CI: 10.74-37.67), NT-proBNP (SMD: -0.41, 95% CI: -0.79-0.04), CI (MD: 0.47 L/min/m2, 95% CI: 0.17-0.77) and WHO-FC (OR: 0.564, 95% CI: 0.457-0.697). Subgroup analysis demonstrated that all three dosages improved the 6MWD. A moderate dosage led to improvements in the CI (MD: 0.30 L/min/m2, 95% CI: 0.15-0.46) and WHO-FC (OR: 0.589, 95% CI: 0.376-0.922). Within 6 months of treatment, only the WHO-FC and CI were significantly improved (OR: 0.614, 95% CI: 0.380-0.993; MD: 0.30 L/min/m2, 95% CI: 0.16-0.45, respectively). More than 6 months of treatment significantly improved the 6MWD, WHO-FC and NT-proBNP (MD: 40.87 m, 95% CI: 10.97-70.77; OR: 0.557, 95% CI: 0.440-0.705; SMD: -0.61, 95% CI: -1.17-0.05, respectively). CONCLUSIONS Low, medium, and high dosages of selexipag all exhibited good effects. When treatment lasted for more than 6 months, selexipag exerted obvious effects, even in the low-dosage group. This finding is important for guiding individualized treatments.

Abstract
BACKGROUND While the GRIPHON study and others have confirmed the efficacy and safety of selexipag with single, dual, and initial triple combination therapy for patients with pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH), multicenters studies concerning diverse triple oral combination therapies based on selexipag are limited. HYPOTHESIS This study was conducted to evaluate the effects of various sequential triple oral combination therapies on PAH outcomes. METHODS A retrospective study was carried out involving 192 patients from 10 centers, who were receiving sequential triple oral combination therapy consisting of an endothelin receptor antagonist (ERA), a phosphodiesterase 5 inhibitor (PDE5i)/riociguat and selexipag. Clinical parameters, event-free survival, and all-cause survival were assessed and analyzed at baseline and posttreatment. RESULTS Among the 192 patients, 37 were treated with ERA + riociguat + selexipag, and 155 patients received ERA + PDE5i + selexipag. Both sequential triple oral combination therapies improved the World Health Organization functional class and raised the count of low-risk parameters. As a result of the larger patients' population in the ERA + PDE5i + selexipag group, these individuals exhibited significant increases in 6-minute walking distance (6MWD), pulmonary arterial systolic pressure, pulmonary arterial pressure, right ventricle, and eccentricity index, and significant decreases in N-terminal probrain natriuretic peptide after 6 months of treatment. Nevertheless, both sequential triple oral combination therapy groups demonstrated similar shifts in these clinical parameters between baseline and 6 months. Baseline 6MWD and mean pulmonary arterial pressure were independent predictors of survival in patients undergoing ERA + PDE5i + selexipag therapy. Importantly, no significant differences were found in 6-month event-free survival and all-cause survival between two groups. CONCLUSIONS Different oral sequential triple combination therapies based on selexipag could comparably improve outcomes in patients with PAH.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Our previous study found that mouse embryonic neural stem cell (NSC)-derived exosomes (EXOs) regulated NSC differentiation via the miR-9/Hes1 axis. However, the effects of EXOs on brain microvascular endothelial cell (BMEC) dysfunction via the miR-9/Hes1 axis remain unknown. Therefore, the current study aimed to determine the effects of EXOs on BMEC proliferation, migration, and death via the miR-9/Hes1 axis. METHODS Immunofluorescence, quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction, cell counting kit-8 assay, wound healing assay, calcein-acetoxymethyl/propidium iodide staining, and hematoxylin and eosin staining were used to determine the role and mechanism of EXOs on BMECs. RESULTS EXOs promoted BMEC proliferation and migration and reduced cell death under hypoxic conditions. The overexpression of miR-9 promoted BMEC proliferation and migration and reduced cell death under hypoxic conditions. Moreover, miR-9 downregulation inhibited BMEC proliferation and migration and also promoted cell death. Hes1 silencing ameliorated the effect of amtagomiR-9 on BMEC proliferation and migration and cell death. Hyperemic structures were observed in the regions of the hippocampus and cortex in hypoxia-induced mice. Meanwhile, EXO treatment improved cerebrovascular alterations. CONCLUSION NSC-derived EXOs can promote BMEC proliferation and migration and reduce cell death via the miR-9/Hes1 axis under hypoxic conditions. Therefore, EXO therapeutic strategies could be considered for hypoxia-induced vascular injury.

Abstract
The herbal formula Sinisan (SNS) is a commonly used treatment for depression; however, its mechanism of action remains unclear. This article uses a combination of the GEO database, network pharmacology and molecular docking technologies to investigate the mechanism of action of SNS. The aim is to provide new insights and methods for future depression treatments. The study aims to extract effective compounds and targets for the treatment of depression from the T CMSP database. Relevant targets were searched using the GEO, Disgenet, Drugbank, PharmGKB and T T D databases, followed by screening of core targets. In addition, GO and KEGG pathway enrichment analyses were performed to explore potential pathways for the treatment of depression. Molecular docking was used to evaluate the potential targets and compounds and to identify the optimal core protein-compound complex. Molecular dynamics was used to further investigate the dynamic variability and stability of the complex. The study identified 118 active SNS components and 208 corresponding targets. Topological analysis of P P I networks identified 11 core targets. GO and KEGG pathway enrichment analyses revealed that the mechanism of action for depression involves genes associated with inflammation, apoptosis, oxidative stress, and the MAP K3 and P I3K-Akt signalling pathways. Molecular docking and dynamics simulations showed a strong binding affinity between these compounds and the screened targets, indicating promising biological activity. The present study investigated the active components, targets and pathways of SNS in the treatment of depression. Through a preliminary investigation, key signalling pathways and compounds were identified. These findings provide new directions and ideas for future research on the therapeutic mechanism of SNS and its clinical application in the treatment of depression.Communicated by Ramaswamy H. Sarma.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) in parents traumatized by a child's critical illness, while differences in prevalence and risk factors for parental PTSD in previous studies. This study aimed to assess trends in the prevalence and risk factors for PTSD in parents of critically ill children. METHODS Nine main databases were searched to extract the prevalence, sample size and risk factors from the published literature. Random effects model analysis, I2 statistic, quality assessment, subgroup analysis and sensitivity analysis were performed. RESULTS Twenty-five studies met the inclusion criteria, with pooled prevalence rates of 13.8 % (95 % CI: [confidence interval, CI] 10.0 %-17.7 %) in fathers and 20.2 % (95 % CI:16.1 %-24.3 %) in mothers. Mothers had a significantly higher prevalence of PTSD compared to fathers. The prevalence of PTSD generally increased after discharge, with the highest prevalence at 6 months, but then decreased (fathers: 18.0 %, CI: 6.1 %-29.9 %; mothers: 20.2 %, CI: 12.8 %-27.6 %), respectively. The results showed five risks, positive acute stress disorder (ASD) screening (OR [odds ratio, OR] =2.45), disease severity (OR = 3.78), perceived stress (OR = 1.44), unemployed status (OR = 2.52) and length of hospital stay (OR = 1.01). LIMITATIONS Due to the limitations of the original study, we could not explore trends in the prevalence of PTSD in this particular population over a more extended period after hospital discharge. CONCLUSION The prevalence of PTSD among parents of critically ill children is high and significantly different. Therefore, it is crucial to focus on this vulnerable group, providing them with essential psychological counseling and comprehensive social support to reduce the occurrence of PTSD.

Abstract
Therapeutic cancer vaccines have shown promising efficacy in helping immunotherapy for cancer patients, but the systematic characterization of the clinical application and the method for improving efficacy is lacking. Here, we mainly summarize the classification of therapeutic cancer vaccines, including protein vaccines, nucleic acid vaccines, cellular vaccines and anti-idiotypic antibody vaccines, and subdivide the above vaccines according to different types and delivery forms. Additionally, we outline the clinical efficacy and safety of vaccines, as well as the combination strategies of therapeutic cancer vaccines with other therapies. This review will provide a detailed overview and rationale for the future clinical application and development of therapeutic cancer vaccines.

Abstract
INTRODUCTION Exercise rehabilitation is crucial for promoting the rehabilitation of limb motor function in people who had stroke and is related to a better prognosis. However, the exercise adherence of patients is low, which affects the effect of exercise rehabilitation. This study aims to evaluate the effects of the Innovative Telerehabilitation Enhanced Care Programme (ITECP) on exercise adherence in young and middle-aged patients with haemorrhagic stroke. We hypothesise that patients trained with ITECP will show greater improvement in exercise adherence and muscle strength than patients with routine exercise rehabilitation. METHODS AND ANALYSIS This is a randomised controlled, evaluator-blinded multicentre superiority trial to be implemented at four tertiary grade-A hospitals in eastern, western, northern and central China. Patients in the experimental group will receive ITECP while those in the control group will receive routine exercise rehabilitation. Both groups will receive routine care. The primary outcome measure is exercise adherence, while secondary outcome measures include muscle strength, activities of daily living, exercise self-efficacy, quality of life, rate of exercise-related adverse events and readmission. These will be measured at baseline, predischarge as well as 1 and 3 months postdischarge. ETHICS AND DISSEMINATION The study has obtained ethical approval from the Medical Ethics Committee of Nanjing Drum Tower Hospital, The Affiliated Hospital of Nanjing University Medical School (2021-381-02). The results will be shared with young and middle-aged patients with haemorrhagic stroke, policy-makers, the general public, as well as academia. Abstract
The impact of global warming on soil carbon pools has been extensively investigated, however, there is still a lack of understanding regarding the specific response of microbial- and plant-derived carbon to warming. To address this knowledge gap, we conducted a comprehensive meta-analysis of 142 studies and evaluated 986 observations comparisons of different carbon source responses to warming. Our results revealed several key insights. Firstly, climate warming resulted in an average increase of 5.46 % in the terrestrial soil carbon pool. Specifically, microbial-derived carbon showed an average increase of 6.32 %, while plant-derived carbon exhibited an average increase of 3.70 %. Secondly, while warming duration and magnitude do not significantly affect the response of microbial-derived carbon to warming, they did impact the response of plant-derived carbon. Lastly, we observed that the response of different carbon sources to warming was affected by the specific environmental backgrounds:ecosystem and climatic zone types affect the response of warming to microbial-derived carbon, while differences in climatic region affect response of warming to plant-derived carbon. The variations in the response of different soil carbon sources to warming can be attributed to the nature of the carbon source themselves, as well as the complex transformations that occur between them through microbial metabolic processes and their interactions with soil mineral particles. We suggest that interactions at the soil-plant-microbe interface should be considered more carefully, and the response of ecosystems to warming should be observed from the perspective of soil organic carbon sources, so as to better understand the response of terrestrial ecosystems carbon cycle to global warming.

Abstract
TCR-engineered T cells have achieved great progress in solid tumor therapy, some of which have been applicated in clinical trials. Deep knowledge about the current progress of TCR-T in tumor therapy would be beneficial to understand the direction. Here, we classify tumor antigens into tumor-associated antigens, tumor-specific antigens, tumor antigens expressed by oncogenic viruses, and tumor antigens caused by abnormal protein modification; Then we detail the TCR-T cell therapy effects targeting those tumor antigens in clinical or preclinical trials, and propose that neoantigen specific TCR-T cell therapy is expected to be a promising approach for solid tumors; Furthermore, we summarize the optimization strategies, such as tumor microenvironment, TCR pairing and affinity, to improve the therapeutic effect of TCR-T. Overall, this review provides inspiration for the antigen selection and therapy strategies of TCR-T in the future.

Abstract
Objective To evaluate the outcomes of thoracic endovascular aortic repair (TEVAR) for type B aortic dissection (TBAD) with aberrant right subclavian artery (ARSA). Methods A retrospective analysis was conducted on patients with TBAD and ARSA who underwent TEVAR between the period of January 2017 and December 2022. Patient demographics, computed tomography angiography (CTA) measurements, surgical procedures, and postoperative outcomes were reviewed. Results A total of 9 patients (6 males and 3 females) were included in the study. 4 ARSA were reconstructed, 3 by periscope technique and 1 by in vitro fenestration technique. 3 left subclavian arteries (LSA) were reconstructed, 1 by the chimney technique and 2 by the single-branched stent technique. 2 patients underwent reconstruction of both ARSA and LSA. The overall technical success rate was 100%, with no occurrences of stroke, paraplegia, or mortality within 30 days. 1 patient experienced immediate type Ia endoleak, which resolved after 3 months. 1 patient developed weakness in the right upper limb, while 1 patient presented mild subclavian steal syndrome (SSS); both cases showed recovery during follow-up. The average follow-up duration was 35.6 ± 11.1 months, during which no reinterventions, deaths, or strokes were observed. Conclusion Our limited experience involving 9 patients demonstrates that early and mid-term outcomes of TEVAR for the treatment of TBAD with ARSA are satisfactory.

Abstract
MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are versatile regulators of pulmonary arterial remodeling in idiopathic pulmonary arterial hypertension (IPAH). We herein aimed to characterize miRNAs in peripheral blood mononuclear cell (PBMC) and plasma exosomes, and investigate specific miRNA expression in pulmonary artery cells and lung tissues in IPAH. A co-dysregulated miRNA was identified from the miRNA expression profiles of PBMC and plasma exosomes in IPAH. Gene Ontology (GO) and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes (KEGG) analysis revealed the potential function of differentially expressed miRNAs. Real-time quantitative reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction was used to validate the expression of specific miRNAs in hypoxia-induced pulmonary microvascular endothelial cells (PMECs), pulmonary artery smooth muscle cells (PASMCs), pericyte cells (PCs), and lung tissues of patients with IPAH and rats. Finally, the miRNA-mRNA mechanisms of miR-122-5p were predicted. MiR-122-5p was the only co-upregulated miRNA in PBMC and plasma exosomes in patients with IPAH. Functional analysis of differentially expressed miRNAs revealed associations with the GO terms "transcription, DNA-templated," "cytoplasm," and "metal ion binding" in both PBMC and plasma exosomes, KEGG pathway MAPK signaling in PBMC, and KEGG-pathway human papillomavirus infection in plasma exosomes. Hypoxic PMECs and PCs, lung tissue of patients with IPAH, and rats showed increased expression of miR-122-5p, but hypoxic PASMCs showed decreased expression. And miR-122-5p mimics and inhibitor affected cell proliferation. Finally, miR-122-5p was found to potentially target DLAT (in lung tissue) and RIMS1 (in PMECs) in IPAH. According to the dual-luciferase assay, miR-122-5p bound to DLAT or RIMS1. In studies, DLAT imbalance was associated with cell proliferation and migration, RIMS1 is differentially expressed in cancer and correlated with cancer prognosis. Our findings suggest that the miR-122-5p is involved in various biological functions in the adjacent vascular wall cells in IPAH.

Abstract
Objective This study aimed to identify a newly identified target involved in atrial fibrillation (AF) linked to chronic obstructive sleep apnea (COSA) through an integrative analysis of transcriptome and proteome. Methods Fifteen beagle canines were randomly assigned to three groups: control (CON), obstructive sleep apnea (OSA), and OSA with superior left ganglionated plexi ablation (OSA+GP). A COSA model was established by intermittently obstructing the endotracheal cannula during exhalation for 12 weeks. Left parasternal thoracotomy through the fourth intercostal space allowed for superior left ganglionated plexi (SLGP) ablation. In vivo open-chest electrophysiological programmed stimulation was performed to assess AF inducibility. Histological, transcriptomic, and proteomic analyses were conducted on atrial samples. Results After 12 weeks, the OSA group exhibited increased AF inducibility and longer AF durations compared to the CON group. Integrated transcriptomic and proteomic analyses identified 2422 differentially expressed genes (DEGs) and 1194 differentially expressed proteins (DEPs) between OSA and CON groups, as well as between OSA+GP and OSA groups (1850 DEGs and 1418 DEPs). The analysis revealed that differentially regulated DEGs were primarily enriched in mitochondrial biological processes in the CON-vs.-OSA and OSA-vs.-GP comparisons. Notably, the key regulatory molecule GSTZ1 was activated in OSA and inhibited by GP ablation. Conclusion These findings suggest that GSTZ1 may play a pivotal role in mitochondrial damage, triggering AF substrate formation, and increasing susceptibility to AF in the context of COSA.

Abstract
Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) in women who have experienced perinatal intimate partner violence (P-IPV) has gradually attracted the attention of psychologists, mental health, and health care professionals. However, a comprehensive understanding of its prevalence and associated risk factors is still lacking. The aim of this systematic review and meta-analysis was to determine the prevalence and explore influencing factors for PTSD in women who have suffered P-IPV. Our study inclusion criteria were: women who experienced IPV in the year before conception, throughout pregnancy, during delivery, and up to 1 year after giving birth for which a quantitative assessment of PTSD was done using validated diagnostic or screening tools. This study searched nine English databases and four Chinese databases. The final analysis included 16 studies, involving 9,098 female subjects. Meta-analysis was performed on the extracted data using the Stata 16.0 software (Stata Corp. LP, College Station, TX, USA).Fixed or random effect models were selected to pool odds ratio (OR) and 95% confidence interval (CI) of PTSD after heterogeneity test. Meta-analysis showed that the pooled prevalence of PTSD in women who suffered P-IPV was 30.0% (95% confidence interval [95% CI] = [22.0%, 37.0%]). Only nine studies described influencing factors for PTSD based on multivariate logistic regression analysis. The five identified influencing factors were: non-immigrants (OR = 2.56; 95% CI [1.29, 5.08]), non-cohabitation (OR = 2.45; [1.35, 4.42]), trauma history (OR = 1.80; [1.18, 2.76]), education below senior high school (OR = 1.32; [0.64, 2.75]), and age 18 to 29 years (OR = 1.06; [0.94, 1.19]). These findings provided a reference value of PTSD prevalence, risk factors, and potential association with P-IPV among women worldwide. However, the geographical coverage of the reviewed studies is limited and epidemiological investigations from more diverse areas are required in the future.

Abstract
Objective: To investigate the role and related mechanism of ubiquitin-like protein FAT10 in the angiotensin Ⅱ (AngⅡ)-induced endothelial cell inflammatory responses. Methods: The Western blot was used to detect the protein expression of FAT10 in 16-weeks old WKY rat carotid artery, thoracic aorta artery, renal artery and vascular smooth muscle cells (VSMC), human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVEC) and human breast cancer cells (MDA-MB-231). The optimal concentration and stimulation time of AngⅡ on inducing the highest FAT10 in HUVEC were determined. The following plasmids were constructed: control plasmid, overexpression FAT10 plasmid (Flag-FAT10), invalid interference plasmid, and interference FAT10 plasmid (sh-FAT10). These plasmids were then transfected into HUVEC cells and divided into following groups: control group, Flag-FAT10 group, invalid interference group, and sh-FAT10 group. After culturing with 100 nmol/L AngⅡ for 36 h, the control group and the Flag-FAT10 group were treated with reactive oxygen species scavenger N-acetyl-L-cysteine (NAC), the protein expression levels of the inflammatory factor monocyte chemotactic protein-1 (MCP-1) and tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) were measured. Laser confocal microscopy was used to detect the generation levels of reactive oxygen species in the cells of vrious groups. Results: FAT10 was expressed in carotid artery, thoracic aorta, and renal artery of normal blood pressure rats and expressed in HUVEC, VSMC, MDA-MB-231. The expression level of FAT10 gradually increased in proportion to the increase of the time and concentration of AngⅡ stimulation in HUVEC, and the expression level of FAT10 was the highest when the HUVEC was treated with 100 nmol/L AngⅡ for 36 h (P<0.01). The protein expression level of MCP-1 (P<0.001) and TNF-α (P<0.01) was higher in AngⅡ treated HUVEC with FAT10 overexpression, while the expression level of MCP-1 and TNF-α protein was lower in AngⅡ treated HUVEC with FAT10 knockdown (all P<0.01). The level of intracellular reactive oxygen species (ROS) production was significantly increased with FAT10 overexpression (P<0.001), and the level of ROS was decreased when the expression of FAT10 was interfered (P<0.05). The increased level of MCP-1 and TNF-α proteins in FAT10 overexpressed HUVEC was reversed by NAC (all P<0.05). Conclusion: FAT10 promotes the release of inflammatory factors induced by AngⅡ in endothelial cells by increasing the level of intracellular ROS production.

Abstract
Objectives: To find the prognostic factors related to early triple-negative breast cancer to optimize the therapeutic strategies, and explore the influence of programmed cell death ligand-1(PD-L1)expression in early triple-negative breast cancer on its prognosis, so as to provide support for clinical treatment decisions. Methods: Early triple-negative breast cancer patients treated at the National Cancer Center, National Clinical Research Center for Cancer, Cancer Hospital, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences during 1st June, 2009 and 31st Oct, 2015 were enrolled in this study. All the clinicopathological data of patients were collected, and the paraffin sections of the surgical specimens were stained with estrogen receptor, progesterone receptor, human epidermal growth factor receptor-2, secreted protein acidic and rich in cysteine (SPARC), androgen receptor, PD-L1 and other antibodies by the immunohistochemical method. Kaplan-Meier survival and Cox regression curves were used for survival analysis of relevant clinical and pathological results and nomogram survival prediction models were established to explore the influence of relevant factors on the prognosis. Results: A total of 205 patients with triple-negative breast cancer were enrolled. Ninety patients (43.9%) were PD-L1 positive. The median follow-up time was 63 months. Thirty-seven patients were relapsed or recurrent and 16 patients were dead. The 5-year disease-free survival (DFS) rate and overall survival (OS) rate were 86.1% (95% CI: 81.4%-90.8%) and 93.6% (95% CI: 91.0%-97.6%), respectively, in the general population. Univariate Cox regression analysis showed that PD-L1 expression and lymph node metastasis were correlated with DFS and OS (P<0.05). In multivariate analysis, PD-L1 expression was an independent influencing factor of DFS, with PD-L1 positive patients possessing a significant survival benefit in DFS (HR=0.31, 95% CI: 0.13-0.73). Lymph node metastasis was an independent influencing factor of OS, and OS was significantly shortened in patients with positive lymph node metastasis (HR=3.24, 95% CI: 1.15-9.17). PD-L1, lymph node metastasis, menopausal status, Ki-67 index and adjuvant chemotherapy regimen were included to establish the 1- and 3-year DFS and OS nomogram prediction models, resulting in C indices of 0.698 and 0.748, respectively. Conclusions: PD-L1 expression is a predictive biomarker of good prognostic factor in triple-negative breast cancer patients. DFS is significantly prolonged in PD-L1 positive patients and OS also shows a prolongation trend. The nomogram prognosis prediction models have reference values for adjuvant chemotherapy in this patient group.

Abstract
The intricate microenvironment at the wound site, coupled with the multi-phase nature of the healing process, pose significant challenges to the development of wound repair treatments. In recent years, applying the distinctive benefits of hydrogels to the development of wound repair strategies has yielded some promising results. Multifunctional hydrogels, by meeting the different requirements of wound healing stages, have greatly improved the healing effectiveness of chronic wounds, offering immense potential in wound repair applications. This review summarized the recent research and applications of multifunctional hydrogels in wound repair. The focus was placed on the research progress of diverse multifunctional hydrogels, and their mechanisms of action at different stages of wound repair were discussed in detail. Through a comprehensive analysis, we found that multifunctional hydrogels play an indispensable role in the process of wound repair by providing a moist environment, controlling inflammation, promoting angiogenesis, and effectively preventing infection. However, further implementation of multifunctional hydrogel-based therapeutic strategies also faces various challenges, such as the contradiction between the complexity of multifunctionality and the simplicity required for clinical translation and application. In the future, we should work to address these challenges, further optimize the design and preparation of multifunctional hydrogels, enhance their effectiveness in wound repair, and promote their widespread application in clinical practice.

Abstract
Cardiovascular disease(CVD) has become a major disease burden affecting people's health in China. Blood vessels are very important for human health and are the "sentinel" for the development of many cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases. The key to effectively preventing fatal, disabling heart, brain and peripheral vascular events lies in controlling traditional and non-traditional risk factors for vascular health from the source, and early assessment and intervention of early vascular lesions. Since 2004, China government promoted the early detection technology of vascular lesions and vascular medicine, and proposed the Beijing Vascular Health Stratification (BVHS) to provide suggestions for the examination, evaluation and management of risk factors, and to provide new ideas for lifelong maintenance of vascular health. This review mainly introduces the establishment and development of the clinical discipline of "vascular medicine" in the past 20 years in China, introduces the indicators for detecting vascular function and structure and the predictive value of vascular events, and carries out intelligent and digital management of vascular health throughout the life cycle of individualized prevention, treatment and rehabilitation for people with different parts or degrees of lesions, effectively reducing the occurrence and development of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, and the prospect of new technology in maintaining vascular health.

Abstract
Oxygen therapy is a crucial medical intervention, but it is undeniable that it can lead to lung damage. The mTOR pathway plays a pivotal role in governing cell survival, including autophagy and apoptosis, two phenomena deeply entwined with the evolution of diseases. However, it is unclarified whether the mTOR pathway is involved in hyperoxic acute lung injury (HALI). The current study aims to clarify the molecular mechanism underlying the pathogenesis of HALI by constructing in vitro and in vivo models using H2O2 and hyperoxia exposure, respectively. To investigate the role of mTOR, the experiment was divided into five groups, including normal group, injury group, mTOR inhibitor group, mTOR activator group, and DMSO control group. Western blotting, Autophagy double labeling, TUNEL staining, and HE staining were applied to evaluate protein expression, autophagy activity, cell apoptosis, and pathological changes in lung tissues. Our data revealed that hyperoxia can induce autophagy and apoptosis in Type II alveolar epithelial cell (AECII) isolated from the treated rats, as well as injuries in the rat lung tissues; also, H2O2 stimulation increased autophagy and apoptosis in MLE-12 cells. Noticeably, the experiments performed in both in vitro and in vivo models proved that the mTOR inhibitor Rapamycin (Rapa) functioned synergistically with hyperoxia or H2O2 to promote AECII autophagy, which led to increased apoptosis and exacerbated lung injury. On the contrary, activation of mTOR with MHY1485 suppressed autophagy activity, consequently resulting in reduced apoptosis and lung injury in H2O2-challenged MLE-12 cells and hyperoxia-exposed rats. Abstract
BACKGROUND The significance of apolipoprotein A-I (ApoA-I) is the anti-inflammatory functional component of high-density lipoprotein, which needs to be further studied in relation to pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH). This study aimed to identify the predictive value of ApoA-1 on the risk and prognosis of PAH, as well as the underlying anti-inflammatory mechanism. METHODS Proteomic analysis was conducted on lung tissue from 6 PAH patients and 4 lung donors. Prediction of risk and mortality risk factors associated with PAH in 343 patients used logistic analysis and Cox regression analysis, respectively. The protective function of ApoA-I was assessed in human pulmonary arterial endothelial cells (HPAEC), while its anti-inflammatory function was evaluated in THP-1 macrophages. RESULTS In the lung tissues of patients with PAH, 168 differentially expressed proteins were associated with lipid metabolism according to GO and KEGG enrichment analysis. A protein-protein interaction network identified ApoA-I as a key protein associated with PAH. Lower ApoA-I levels were independent risk factors for PAH and displayed a stronger predictive value for PAH mortality. Plasma interleukin 6 (IL-6) levels were positively correlated with risk stratification and was higher in PAH patients with lower ApoA-I levels. ApoA-I was downregulated in lung tissues of MCT-induced rats. ApoA-I could reduce IL-6-induced pro-proliferative and pro-migratory abilities of HPAEC and inhibit secretion of IL-6 from macrophages, which is compromised under hypoxic conditions. CONCLUSION Our study identified the significance of ApoA-I as a biomarker for predicting the survival outcome of PAH patients, which might relate to its altered anti-inflammatory properties.

Abstract
BACKGROUND The purpose of this meta-analysis was to evaluate the effectiveness of electroacupuncture in preventing and treating postoperative nausea and vomiting (PONV) after general anesthesia. MATERIAL AND METHODS We searched for papers on randomized controlled trials on electroacupuncture for PONV prevention after general anesthesia published in PubMed, Web of Science, and China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI) since October 1, 2016. Primary outcome was incidence of PONV; secondary outcomes were incidence of postoperative nausea (PON) at 6 h, postoperative vomiting (POV) at 6 h, and postoperative antiemetic requirement. Data were combined and analyzed using RevMan 5.4.1 software. RESULTS Eight randomized controlled trials, with 899 total participants, were included. Findings showed (1) there was no significant difference in occurrence rate of PONV between electroacupuncture and control groups (OR=0.31, 95% CI [0.06, 1.49], P=0.14, I²=82%); (2) electroacupuncture reduced incidence of PON at 6 h postoperatively, compared with controls (OR=0.43, 95% CI [0.27, 0.67], P=0.0002, I²=0%); (3) compared with control group, electroacupuncture reduced POV incidence 0-6 h postoperatively (OR=0.38, 95% CI [0.23, 0.63], P=0.0001, I²=0%); (4) electroacupuncture group demonstrated a significant reduction in postoperative requirement for antiemetic medications (OR=0.44, 95% CI [0.25, 0.78], P=0.005, I²=61%); (5) one study reported adverse reactions during observation, with 3 patients experiencing pain and itching at acupuncture site and 2 patients refusing a second acupuncture treatment; all symptoms lasted less than 2 h. CONCLUSIONS Based on current evidence, electroacupuncture significantly reduces the occurrence rate of PON and POV at 6 h after surgery and the use of antiemetic medication postoperatively. However, more high-quality, large-sample randomized controlled trials are needed to further validate its efficacy.

Abstract
Inflammatory myofibroblastic tumor (IMT) is a rare neoplasm that can occur in various organs, including the lung. Surgical resection is usually the preferred treatment for localized IMT.A 6-year-old female was admitted to our hospital with complaints of "coughing and vomiting for 6 days". A chest CT scan revealed occlusion of the left main bronchus, segmental atelectasis of the left lower lung, and cystic low-density shadows along the bronchial pathway. Subsequent fiberoptic bronchoscopy confirmed the diagnosis of IMT through pathological biopsy. After excluding surgical contraindications, the patient underwent uniportal video-assisted thoracoscopic sleeve lobectomy for treatment. The patient had an uneventful postoperative course and was discharged four days after surgery. After one month, the patient received a follow-up examination and reported no significant discomfort. A chest CT scan revealed no postoperative complications.Our experience suggests that uniportal video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery may be a safe and effective approach for the treatment of pediatric patients with IMT requiring complex surgical procedures such as sleeve lobectomy and tracheoplasty.

Abstract
Background This study investigated the potential contribution of biomass fuels exposure to the occurrence of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) in rural areas of western China. Methods We analyzed data collected between October 2017 and October 2018 from a nested case-control study of individuals at least 40 years old in the general population in Mianyang City, Sichuan Province, China. Demographic information was collected using a custom-designed questionnaire, and lung function was measured using spirometry. We used multivariate logistic regression to explore the possible relationship between biomass fuels exposure and COPD, as well as between other potential risk factors and COPD. Bayes' theorem was used to estimate weights for different COPD risk factors. Results COPD was newly diagnosed in 500 of the 11398 adults surveyed, corresponding to an incidence of 4.39%. Individuals who were exposed to biomass fuels were at a significantly greater risk of developing COPD than those not exposed (OR 2.58, 95% CI 2.23-3.05). In subgroup analysis, exposure to biomass fuels increased the risk of COPD in men by 1.71 times (95% CI 1.09-2.68) and in women by 2.88 times (95% CI 2.01-3.48), in never-smokers by 2.18 times. Bayesian weights for COPD risk factors were highest for poor kitchen ventilation (W=31.13%) and biomass fuels exposure (W=18.08%). Conclusion Our data indicate that rural Chinese who are exposed to biomass fuels during cooking or heating are at greater risk of developing COPD. Efforts should be made to strengthen the construction of clean energy infrastructure, so as to reduce the use of biomass fuels and thereby help prevent COPD.

Abstract
Transposable elements (TEs) are mobile DNA sequences that can replicate themselves and play significant roles in embryo development and chromosomal structure remodeling. In this study, we investigated the variation of TEs in blastocysts with different parental genetic backgrounds. We analyzed the proportions of 1137 TEs subfamilies from six classes at the DNA level using Bowtie2 and PopoolationTE2 in 196 blastocysts with abnormal parental chromosomal diseases. Our findings revealed that the parental karyotype was the dominant factor influencing TEs frequencies. Out of the 1116 subfamilies, different frequencies were observed in blastocysts with varying parental karyotypes. The development stage of blastocysts was the second most crucial factor influencing TEs proportions. A total of 614 subfamilies exhibited different proportions at distinct blastocyst stages. Notably, subfamily members belonging to the Alu family showed a high proportion at stage 6, while those from the LINE class exhibited a high proportion at stage 3 and a low proportion at stage 6. Moreover, the proportions of some TEs subfamilies also varied depending on blastocyst karyotype, inner cell mass status, and outer trophectoderm status. We found that 48 subfamilies displayed different proportions between balanced and unbalanced blastocysts. Additionally, 19 subfamilies demonstrated varying proportions among different inner cell mass scores, and 43 subfamilies exhibited different proportions among outer trophectoderm scores. This study suggests that the composition of TEs subfamilies may be influenced by various factors and undergoes dynamic modulation during embryo development.

Abstract
Vascular endothelial dysfunction is the initial step in atherosclerosis (AS). AS tends to occur at vascular bifurcations and curves, and endothelial cells(ECs) are highly susceptible to injury due to mechanical forces induced by disturbed flow (DF) with inconsistent blood flow directions. However, the pathogenesis of endothelial cell dysfunction in AS remains unclear and needs further study. Here, we found that Piezo1 expression was significantly increased in DF- and oxidized low-density lipoprotein(ox-LDL)-treated HUVECs in vitro and a model of atherosclerotic plaque growth in ApoE-/- mice fed a Western diet. Furthermore, Piezo1 upregulated autophagy levels in the HUVECs model, which was reversed by Piezo1 knockdown with a lentivirus-mediated shRNA system. Mechanistically, the level of Yes-associated protein (YAP), a transcriptional coactivator in the Hippo pathway, was significantly elevated in the DF- and ox-LDL-induced HUVECs model, and this effect was further inhibited by Piezo1 knockdown. Moreover, the Piezo1 agonist Yoda1 inhibited the protein level of microtubule-associated protein 1 light chain 3-II(LC3-II) and increased the protein level of sequestosome1(p62/SQSTM1) in a dose-dependent manner, while significantly promoting the protein expression and nuclear translocation of YAP. The YAP inhibitor CA3 weakened Yoda1-mediated inhibition of autophagy. Our results suggest that Piezo1 may regulate endothelial autophagy by promoting YAP activation and nuclear translocation, thereby contributing to vascular endothelial dysfunction.
