Abstract
Caring for people with Alzheimer's disease and related disorders is a complex process, that of a chronic illness. Psychological and behavioral symptoms associated to dementia can appear in all neuro-degenerative diseases to varying degrees, and depend on numerous factors that need to be understood in order to take appropriate action. We propose a systemic approach to psychological and behavioral symptoms, with a view to preventing their onset or reducing their severity.

Abstract
Taking an interest in the environment of a child suffering from eczema means understanding the word "environment" in the broadest possible sense: the child's lifestyle, family, social and cultural environment. By taking all these aspects into account, we can optimize the effectiveness of treatments, and avoid the multiple problems and comorbidities associated with moderate and severe eczema. It's up to caregivers to be vigilant about this, and to reposition the right gestures by spotting errors right from the start, even in the case of mild eczema. The best way to respond to this challenge, i.e. to help parents understand, is to draw on the principles of therapeutic patient education.

Abstract
The benefits of breastfeeding on the health of infants and mothers are no longer in doubt. On the other hand, the advantages in terms of maxillofacial development and the risks of prolonged breastfeeding on oral health are much less discussed. An exploratory qualitative study, carried out within the pediatric dentistry functional unit of the dental care service of the Lille University Hospital Center in 2022, aimed to analyze the knowledge, attitudes and practices in oral health of breastfeeding women. This article will discuss the gaps in prevention as well as the obstacles and levers to improving care.

Abstract
Every child born prematurely has skills that professionals must support in order to promote their development. Motor and postural support constitute two important points in the strategies deployed in this regard. Other techniques, such as position changes and skin-to-skin practice, complete the care and monitoring of the baby.

Abstract
Women have difficulty seeking help for alcohol-related problems. Shame and guilt are often present, which is why the caregiver must succeed in establishing a climate of trust so that things can be said, in order to best assess the impact of consumption and find alternatives. Treatment is often multidisciplinary. The nurse's role is essential, not only to identify drug use, but also to provide a link between the various players involved.

Abstract
Due to intensive physical training, and the pressure exerted by coaches, parents and the athlete him/herself during pre-competitive and competitive periods, a large number of high-level sporting activities can trigger or participate in anorexia nervosa. That said, some of these activities are more likely than others to promote this eating disorder. It is worth highlighting the sports most at risk for the onset or development of anorexia nervosa, and then addressing the means of prevention and regulation adapted to these circumstances.

Abstract
From the earliest stages of adolescence, the question of alcohol consumption should be addressed by health professionals (GPs, midwives, gynecologists, pediatricians, nurses) working in the field of perinatal care or public health. All alcohol consumption is prohibited during pregnancy. In fact, a 2022 study showed that even low exposure to alcohol in utero has measurable effects on the structure of children's brains.

Abstract
When a baby is born, the first bonds of attachment are slowly formed. Primary care, such as feeding, changing, carrying, rocking or putting the child to sleep, is very important for the development of these bonds. In the event of early hospitalization, and especially in the case of a newborn with fragile skin, parents are deprived of this first care, which is a key moment they looked forward to during pregnancy. Feelings of fear and guilt are bound to develop during the establishment of these first bonds. That's why it's essential to support these families as early as possible, and involve them as much as possible in their baby's care.

Abstract
As part of their missions, firefighters are exposed to a multitude of risks that can impact their health. Sensitive to this health and safety issue, the departmental fire and rescue service of Seine-et-Marne has designed and deployed a doctrine of health and safety support in operation. The members of the sub-directorate of the departmental fire and rescue service are the main actors in this process. The implementation of health support for firefighters in response relies mainly on the firefighter nurse. Indeed, the latter is led to develop, beyond his nursing practice, skills related to the analysis of health risks and the deployment of preventive and curative actions on intervention.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Hypertension is responsible for 8.5 million deaths from stroke, ischemic heart disease and other vascular and kidney diseases. In Algeria, hypertension (HTN) is the most common chronic disease with an estimated prevalence of 23,6%. METHODS The PACT II study is a national, observational, descriptive, cross-sectional, multicenter and non-interventional study of therapeutic strategy, conducted in Algeria on hypertensive patients treated for at least 3 months, followed by 100 specialists or general practitioners. The primary objective is to describe the hypertension management in Algeria through the distribution of patients treated for HTN through predefined levels of arterial pressure (AP) reached under treatment. RESULTS 2000 eligible patients were recruited in the study. 63.5% and 36.4% of patients were female and male respectively. The average age was 62.4 years ± 10.7. The most affected age group (65.2%) was between 55 to 75 years old. Most of the patients had an elevated blood pressure (BP) with 49.30 % at level III AP (130 - 139 mmHg of SBP or 80 - 89 mmHg of DBP), with 49.6% for diabetic patients and 48.8% for non-diabetic patients, then followed by 20.35% at the level IV AP (140 - 159 mmHg of SBP or 90 - 99 mmHg of DBP) with 21.4% for diabetic and 18.3% for non-diabetic patients. Also, 47.32% were at AP level III in patients with Renal failure. Regarding the achievement of the BP target, it was 17.4% for the overall population with 18,3% for diabetic's patients and only 12.64% for Renal failure patients. Additionally, the risk of cardiovascular disease (CVD) was at very high level for most patients, corresponding to 38,4 % of the overall study population. At last, PACT II study data were collected on analysis of blood pressure levels in the overall population and in cardiovascular risk (CVR) population groups such as diabetes (65%), sedentary lifestyle (53%), dyslipidemia (50%), obesity (44%), and renal failure (11.3%). CONCLUSION PACT II has made it possible to update national data relating to hypertension in Algeria. It confirmed the low level of achievement of the BP target, even if the average arterial pressure level obtained was acceptable in 76% patients with a BP level which was lower than 140 mmHg for SBP and less than 90 mmHg for DBP. Many efforts must be made, according to WHO recommendations, to improve the management of hypertensive patients and BP control in Algeria.

Abstract
Falls are common among the elderly, and can have serious consequences: fracture, hospitalization, loss of independence, institutionalization and death. However, falls are not inevitable, and they can be prevented. The "autonomy prevention" kit (Equilibr'Age workshops, occupational therapy advice) has helped to reduce the number of falls and improve people's quality of life. The program will now be rolled out to a wider public.

Abstract
Experimentation with psychoactive substances (PAS), such as alcohol, tobacco or cannabis, is common in adolescence, and continues to pose a public health issue that can lead to failure at school and university. Most of the work on these issues focuses on addiction-related aspects, and little on the underlying causes of addiction. This article sheds psycho-social theoretical light on the causes of first-time use of APS, and cannabis in particular. It is particularly aimed at school nurses and university preventive medicine nurses.

Abstract
Adapted physical activities (APA) in the workplace improve workers' health. Paradoxically, APA remains marginal in the very places where improving health is the central objective of health care workers, namely clinics and hospitals. Promoting physical activity in the workplace is a twofold challenge. Not only does PA improve the health and well-being of caregivers, but it also allows them to be more effective in their daily work with patients.

Abstract
Cardiac anesthesiologists face a demanding and stressful practice that requires a sense of well-being at work that is essential to patient safety and quality of care. Like all cardiac caregivers, they are exposed to the death of the people they care for and must nevertheless overcome the difficulties associated with the management of heavy patients.

Abstract
The hospital hygiene operational team at the Haguenau Hospital Center in the Bas-Rhin region conducted prospective surveillance of the condition of PICC line dressings both at the time of application and during use for hospitalized patients in 2019 and 2021. Infectious and mechanical complications were identified in both periods. A report on the results of the first survey was proposed to the institution's professionals. Awareness campaigns on the subject of dressing repair and pulsed rinsing were carried out, and nurses were invited to attend training sessions in the form of practical work on PICC care. The second survey measured the extent, progress, and impact of training on quality of care.

Abstract

Abstract
As we have just commemorated the 40th anniversary of the discovery of AIDS, which was described in 1981 and declared a pandemic 20 years ago, in 2002, we are tracing the history of the disease in order to promote awareness of the imaginary nature of the disease. A useful approach to the care of the HIV-positive person.

Abstract
The poor state of health of some prisoners, the tensions and violence that can exist in prisons lead the administration's staff to work in a sometimes difficult context. The regular practice of adapted physical activities appears to be a particularly opportune course of action for the agents concerned: it would bring them physical and psychological benefits in their professional exercise.

Abstract
The World Health Organization defines domestic violence as the deliberate use of force, power, threats, against a person or group of people, which may result in death or physical injury. As such, it usually results in physical, economic, psychological, sexual or emotional harm. This study assessed the prevalence and contributing factors of domestic violence among women and children in South Africa to better understand the factors surrounding domestic violence using the 2016 Demographic and Health Survey. Because domestic violence is a public health issue, nurses play a central role in prevention and post-trauma care, including within emergency and psychiatric services.

Abstract
At the crossroads of a global pandemic, here and there where public discourse misuses the concepts of depression, research has begun on a public health issue, that of adolescent depression. The Adodesp study (adolescent depression associated with parental depression) aims to study the interest of a preventive identification of adolescent depression, based on that of parental figures, while evaluating the orientation towards a care system articulated between primary care and mental health devices. To date, this study has included 42 adolescents based on the identification of 30 depressed parents. Preliminary results show that 45% of adolescents are depressed and support the need for systematic identification of adolescent depression in children of depressed parents. They also underline the difficulties and pitfalls of this identification by general practitioners and conclude that it would be useful to strengthen the link between primary care and mental health services.

Abstract
INTRODUCTION The grinding intensity of pig feed is considered one potential predisposing factor for gastric ulcers, and a variety of particle size recommendations have been published for pig feeds. We subjected 51 different commercial compound feeds for pigs (38 meals, 13 pellets/granulates) to dry and/or wet sieve analysis. The amount of particles passing the finest sieve (or being soluble) was estimated by the difference to the total dry matter weighed prior to sieving. Mean particle size was calculated based on the weighted average of the material retained on the sieves (MPSsieves), and additionally with accounting for this lost material (MPStotal). Dry sieve analysis of the meals yielded MPSsieves of 0,58-2,90 mm and MPStotal of 0,58-2,89 mm; only 0,02 to 2,71 % of the dry matter passed all sieves. Wet sieve analysis of all meals and pellets yielded similar MPSsieves of 0,63-1,66 mm, but dramatically lower MPStotal of 0,26-1,04 mm; between 35 and 66 % of the dry matter was not retained on the sieves. Pellets had smaller MPS, and a higher proportion of particles passing all sieves than meals. Depending on the reference used, a maximum of 26 % of meals conformed to recommendations for pig feed particle size. None of the pelleted feeds met these criteria, irrespective of the source consulted for the recommendation. Wet sieving should be considered the standard analysis, because in dry sieving, very fine particles adhering to larger particles may not be registered separately but contribute erroneously to larger particle weight. In addition, the MPS calculation should account for material lost through the finest sieve. Reasons why Swiss pig feed does not meet particle size recommendations should be further investigated.

Abstract
The successive cancer plans mobilize health professionals by emphasizing personalized medicine that is accessible to all. This individualization of therapeutic care, along with major innovations in therapeutic tools, leads to the chronicization of certain cancers. A new situation that requires support for people affected by the disease during their treatment and also after in order to preserve autonomy, continuity and quality of life.

Abstract
Physical Activity in the Prevention and Treatment of Eating Disorders Abstract. On the one hand, excessive or insufficient physical activity is a phenomenological feature and an important etiological factor in eating disorders. On the other hand, healthy and adaptive physical activity has the potential to support the effectiveness of preventive and therapeutic interventions for eating disorders. Research findings confirm the usefulness of interventions focusing on physical activity as an add-on to psychotherapy. Professionally planned and accompanied interventions of this kind are not counterproductive or dangerous but can have a positive effect on the treatment outcome. The current state of research allows a preliminary formulation of guidelines to embed physical activity interventions into evidence-based treatment approaches. The focus of such interventions lies on the reduction of unhealthy, excessive physical activity and the promotion of flexible physical activity.

Abstract
Cardiovascular disease is the leading cause of death in the world and the second leading cause of death in France. Patients with coronary artery disease have a high risk of recurrence. Nevertheless, by acting on health determinants and secondary prevention, it is possible to reduce the risks. With the development of advanced nursing practice, a new professional with specific skills can take charge of and accompany people with this pathology. This player works in an interdisciplinary manner to provide holistic and optimal patient care.

Abstract
Domestic violence is a public health and societal problem that must be treated in three ways: the perpetrator, the victim and the children. The treatment of this violence is multidisciplinary. It requires the commitment of everyone in the interest of all the protagonists of the family unit. Networking is essential for health professionals, social workers, police forces and the justice system.

Abstract
INTRODUCTION As the healthcare system changes, the pharmacist's place does. In this context the health institutions are looking for improving prevention and so realize how well-placed pharmacists were. For their competences as well as the trust patients are giving, they are serious actors in the implementation of prevention. METHODS We sought to understand which place pharmacists take in prevention policies. Thus, we have proceeded with an analysis of bibliography of the past ten years about articles registered in Medline talking about pharmacist's places in French prevention. RESULTS We have selected 47 articles classified according to San Marco's 3 levels of prevention: universal, oriented or targeted prevention. The pharmacist is involved in universal prevention, cancer screening or the proper use of antibiotics. In targeted prevention, they are specifically interested in the proper use of medicines and their correct prescription to patients. Finally, for targeted prevention, they offer patients therapeutic education adapted to their needs. CONCLUSIONS We can highlight that pharmacists improve consequently the patient's quality of life. They also enhance connections between health care professionals. Thanks to pharmacists, patients can find easy access and reliable health advice and government, trustworthy support for prevention.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE Based on an updated review of the international literature covering the different surgical techniques and complications of risk reducing mastectomies (RRM) in non-genetic context, the Commission of Senology (CS) of the College National des Gynécologues Obstétriciens Français (CNGOF) aimed to establish recommendations on the techniques to be chosen and their implementation. DESIGN The CNGOF CS, composed of 24 experts, developed these recommendations. A policy of declaration and monitoring of links of interest was applied throughout the process of making the recommendations. Similarly, the development of these recommendations did not benefit from any funding from a company marketing a health product. The CS adhered to and followed the AGREE II (Advancing guideline development, reporting and evaluation in healthcare) criteria and the Grading of Recommendations Assessment, Development and Evaluation (GRADE) method to assess the quality of the evidence on which the recommendations were based. The potential drawbacks of making recommendations in the presence of poor quality or insufficient evidence were highlighted. METHODS The CS considered 6 questions in 4 thematic areas, focusing on oncologic safety, risk of complications, aesthetic satisfaction and psychological impact, and preoperative modalities. RESULTS The application of the GRADE method resulted in 7 recommendations, 6 with a high level of evidence (GRADE 1±) and 1 with a low level of evidence (GRADE 2±). CONCLUSION There was significant agreement among the CS members on recommendations for preferred surgical techniques and practical implementation.

Abstract

Abstract
The management of sickle cell disease, the leading genetic disease in France, has made immense progress in recent years thanks to the creation of reference centres and multidisciplinary expertise. Pediatric mortality has almost disappeared, but the disease is still burdened with significant morbidity. The challenge for the coming years is to reduce this morbidity in order to improve quality of life and prevent chronic diseases, which occur mainly in adults.

Abstract
Early childhood caries is an infectious disease of bacterial origin. It is mainly associated with social inequalities in oral health and affects children from the least privileged backgrounds. Because of its recurrent nature, it is the most common chronic disease in preschool children. Since it shares common risk factors with a number of other chronic conditions (diabetes, obesity), promoting global oral health is essential to achieving a favorable general health status.

Abstract
After the initial stage of the pharmacovigilance process for medicines from traditional pharmacopoeias - which concerns the identification of the risks associated with their use - the risk assessment should now be approached. The latter makes it possible to detect potential signals early and to take preventive measures. We sought to understand, from a review of the literature, the steps and methods of risk assessment relating to traditional medicines, as well as the prevention strategies applied to them. All of the work carried out on the subject has shown that the steps and methods for assessing and preventing drug risks are the same for both conventional and traditional medicines. Risk assessment includes analysis of the quality of individual notifications, assessment of causality, detection and evaluation of signals. The World Health Organization method is the most widely used for causality assessment internationally, while disproportionality measures are the most applied for signal detection. Regarding prevention, risk communication is the main strategy for the risks associated with traditional medicines. This review suggests the involvement of traditional medicine practitioners both in the notification system and in the communication strategy on the risks associated with their products.

Abstract
In order to contribute to the prevention of the spread of Covid-19, the operational hygiene team of a Parisian geriatric hospital set up weekly iterative screening by saliva test among professionals. Collaboration with the Covisan system enabled epidemiological monitoring and highlighted a link between clusters and the contamination of carers who were then able to be evicted early thanks to the screening. The results, which are shared in this feedback document, show the support of the hospital staff and the interest of screening.

Abstract
Five million deaths per year worldwide could be prevented if physical activity (PA) recommendations were followed. Scientific studies have shown with a high level of evidence that PA prevents and treats most chronic diseases. It also contributes to the prevention of the main risk factors for these diseases. In France, whatever the age group, physical activity is considered insufficient in relation to the recommendations of the World Health Organisation. However, over the last ten years, public policies have been moving in the direction of promoting physical activity.

Abstract
Screening with the step 1 tool is the principal modality of entry into the ICOPE program. This preliminary step is particularly an initiative of primary care health professionals, who are daily caring older people. In Occitania, as part of the deployment of ICOPE program, nurses and pharmacists, were invited to integrate the step 1 in their practices. They benefited, if they wished, from a free webinar training.
